  1. Alice spun as the guy opened fire, angry at the latest person to risk hurting everyone but her by shooting at her. Quickly she covered the distance between them, her fist flashing over his head, "Like I told your friend, shooting me doesn't work! You've already proven that your guns don't hurt me! The only people in danger when you do that are yourself, your allies and any poor soul who happens to be walking too close!" Her rant over Alice took a moment to be surprised to meet someone claiming to be Archer. It wasn't a name which people thought well of, so this guy was probably serious. Turning to him, she gave him a nod. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance. Now lets take these guys out and find out who sent them."
  2. Alright, Shooting Star is gonna go after the dude who shot (Attacker 4), All-out-attacking as per usual 1d20+7 = 9, a swing and a miss!
  3. Muirne turned to the others, unperturbed by the explosion. She turned to see her classmates bruised and dazed. It took her a few moments to see that Luke and Leon were hurt worst, and quickly she made her way over to them. She couldn't touch either of the pair, but she could at least see whether they needed help. "Are you two well?" She rasped, her eyes focused on them unblinkingly as shadowy tendrils writhed. "I can fetch aid if you are in need."
  4. I don't know if the explosion hurts Muirne or not since she's still incorporeal, but I'll do the saves and such for it anyway. The stun I'm pretty sure ignores incorporeal but the rules are honestly REALLY weird and poorly worded. I checked and honestly I'm no longer even sure if I need Affects Corporeal on my attacks! Also I realised the second damage ability (The fort based one) doesn't have Affects Corporeal but I don't even know if that matters now... Anyway: Explosion Reflex: 1d20+8 = 10, not great but she has Evasion 2, so I'm not overly worried. Toughness: 1d20+8 = 22 Stun Reflex: 1d20+8 = 26 So she is unaffected by both even if they do bypass insubstantial which... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  5. Muirne smiled as Mette presented the singlet, turning to a grin as Dee expressed her pleasure with the singlet. "I'm glad you like it, Dee." It had been a while since she'd visited as she'd found herself busy at Claremont, so she was glad that she could spend some time with the other members of Vanguard, and if she could find some nice gifts for Natasha then she was doubly pleased. "Where do we want to go next?"
  6. Shadowborne: 2 + 3 = 5 (1PP) Survival Class: Silver Lining (2) Fury Road (3) Shooting Star: 3 (1PP) Rising Stars (3) The Dreamer: 2 (1PP) Fate of the Serpent (2)
  7. The Dreamer nodded solemnly in agreement with Blackstaff's comment. She knew fear could cause people to act against their best interests, she'd seen it happen on her own world and couldn't begrudge Advay where she hadn't judged others. She took a few seconds to make the man a second glass of tea and offer the same to Blackstaff before leaning back in her seat. Her dreams skittered and flew about the island as she pondered how to proceed. "I understand what happened better now, and why you fled. Perhaps you could find a way to clear your name with the Forest Clan, even if afterwards you would still have to hide from the mundane law enforcement. The members who approached me seemed kind enough and I am sure that if you could explain then they would be understanding of your struggles and I would .be willing to vouch for you." She looked to Blackstaff to see whether he agreed with her statement.
  8. Muirne was willing to admit that flying with Luke was exhilarating, but I'm the privacy of her head would prefer to do it with a saddle. She clung tightly to his scales as best she could without letting go of her spear or shield. She breathed a sigh of relief as they landed, and turned to Howl as he started talking. She was glad to hear that they had options if the Mesa left them stranded. She peered off the side at the group after Howl pointed them out. "That sounds like a plan. And if they aren't up to no good we can help them get away from the fighting."
  9. Alice quickly flew over to the man who wasn't now masquerading as a porcupine, raising one hand to strike the man. She swing it into his side with speed, careful not to overdo it as her hand probably weighed more than him. She looked over to the other hero with a smile. "Hey, thanks for the assist. I'm Shooting Star, who are you?"
  10. Shooting Star is gonna go after Attacker 3. All-out-attack as per normal. 1d20+7 = 23! Holy crap another hit!
  11. Muirne watched her claws skitter off the creature's armoured chest and everything else get resisted except for the turtle. She wasn't sure how tough these creatures were, but maybe other things would work. She reached past the monster's armour and pulled on the light and warmth she felt there, feeling the life drain from it before dissipating from her. She snarled wordlessly at the Omegadrone as it remained standing as she pulled her arm and tendrils from it's chest.
  12. Okay, Muirne is gonna experiment a bit, and switch to her secondary damage power, And attack of course, 1d20+8 = 13 which is terrible, so second HP (Also RL, I should be on 2HP before this not 3, I used one last turn too) 1d20+8 = 13, HP takes it up to 23, DC18 Fort save or take incurable damage. EDIT: Okay, according to my sheet it's DC23 like standard toughness, but I'm sure I remember that not being how it works...
  13. Muirne wasn't particularly cognisant of the things happening around her as the shadows that she was now composed of writhed in the cold morning. The creature swept forwards rapidly to meet the unharmed Omegadrone, claws at the ready. Slashing quickly the immaterial blades met the drone's chest as Muirne wrestled with herself for control. She turned to the newcomer after her attack, unconcerned at the possibility of a counterattack due to her incorporeality. "Is there more coming?"
  14. Shadowborne is gonna attack with her Shadow Power Array's base power against Omegadrone 2, 1d20+8 = 11 which is just a bit too low, so I'm gonna burn a HP 1d20+8 = 21 I'll get a post out in a bit, I assume I'm gonna hit, just lemme know to edit it in post if I'm wrong.
  15. I finally get to see her in action! 1d20+8 = 25 for initiative
  16. Muirne walked quietly beside her schoolmates, holding a burger in some overwhelmed grease-proof paper. She had been enjoying the small trip with her schoolmates when she felt the warm air cut through, reeking in a new and worrying way. Suddenly she was nearly blinded by the flash of the car appearing and the pursuing Omegadrones. She barely hesitated a moment, drawing from the well of shadows within and transforming into her shadowbeast form in the blink of an eye.
  17. Muirne listened quietly as the others talked, her brain recognising Zach and Macedon's appearance. She was at least twenty six years in the past based on Callie's observations. The only person she knew who wasn't an infant or not even born would be Klara, who wouldn't know her yet. She would be over forty by the time she reached her time. She'd finally been getting accustomed to the time she was in and she gets hurled through time again. Was she cursed somehow? What were they supposed to do if Callie was right and they had to avoid changing history? It wasn't like they could just sit around doing nothing while villains ran amok. She clasped her hands around her spear to hide their shaking. She managed to calm herself enough to tune into Macedon talking, trying to sort through his statements as they came. They should get back to the cave, but it was probably gone so that answered whether they were stuck. She needs to calm down. She was trying dammit, it wasn't as easy as he made it sound. This is the Magic Mesa's doing. He knew what caused it. The Magic Mesa... ... Magic Mesa... ... Magic... She'd almost find it funny if it wasn't happening to her. She was cursed wasn't she? Dougal, Rurland and now this. She'd been magically cast from her home a second time. Her heart started harder than before, feeling like it was trying to force it's way out of her chest. She clutched her hands in front of her mouth to stop herself hyperventilating. She had to push through this, she couldn't break down, she had to help her team to get through this. Blinking away tears that had sprung up she took a few moments to collect herself, silently hoping the others hadn't noticed, although she knew that wasn't exactly likely given the fact that she was literally sitting on one of them. "Tyge úre sylfum gecliht1." She muttered under her breath before turning to the others, raising her voice although it still trembled slightly to her annoyance. "So what's the plan then?" 1 Pull your self together
  18. Okay, so lets try this again then. 1d20+7 = 23 I think I finally hit something!
  19. Alice pulled back as he fired, eyes widening as the bullets ricocheted in every direction. "Jesus Christ you idiot! Are you trying to shoot yourself? Bullets bounce off of me!" She didn't want this thug dying because a bullet bounced off of her face and into something vital. "If you want to get hurt that badly just stand still, and it won't come with the humiliation of shooting yourself accidentally." Alice swung again, her fist colliding with his head. The man collapsed heavily, mask shattering as her metal-like fist struck it. Alice looked down at her fist, surprised that she'd actually managed to hit the man. She considered giving a one-liner, but reckoned it pointless given her lack of an audience. Instead she silently floated from the shattered window, looking around for the other hero.
  20. One day I'll hit... Second verse same as the first, 1d20+7 = 14 which I know misses... One day I'll roll double digits...
  21. Shooting Star swept her arm at the guy again, annoyed at her inability to hit the guy. Was it too much for her to beat some catharsis out of this guy? She could hear the other hero managing fine so why did she have to be so terrible at hitting things? Not for the first time she regretted not taking boxing classes, but how would she take a boxing class without spoiling her secret identity? Maybe she should ask the guy with the bow if he knew anyone she could train with since she could assume someone trained him. For now she just snarled at the frustratingly unpunched man in front of her.
  22. Sorry it took me ages to get back to this. Shooting Star is going to continue her previous method of 'Punch at guy' All-out-Attack (+4) 1d20+7 = 13 which I know is a miss.
  23. The Dreamer once again conjured a table and some comfortable seating for the three of them to have their talk in relative comfort. Having the dream creature lower her into the chair she gestured for the others to sit. "Before we begin, would the two of you like any refreshments?" She waited briefly for the answers, complying with them quickly before talking again. "I am willing to listen to your side of things to sort things out, Advay. Blackstaff gave me what I feel is an accurate but significantly shortened version of your tale and I have some questions related to it. You claim that you are innocent of Yatin's murder, if this is true, why are you fleeing instead of trying to clear your name with the Forest Clan and the Police? My second question is whether there is truth in the beliefs of the Rock Clan that you are in possession of dangerous magics?" She looked expectantly at the man after her questions.
