  2. SPACE RANGER III "Four against one doesn't really seem fair." A young humanoid in a mainly dark blue uniform with black and white markings had entered. The right side of his chest had a six pointed star icon. His features were obscured by the opaque orange visor on his helmet that only vaguely showed the location of his eyes, nose and mouth. He already had a a blaster in his left hand, pointing it at the group of thugs. It was an old model, archaic even. Gun metal grey, a long barrel, a sight and 4 red power lines on the main part. He was holding it by his side, pointed at the group but not really taking aim. The young humanoid reached up and hit the right side of his helmet, causing it to fold away, revealing his black hair and almost pink skin. "Hey, I'm the Space Ranger. How about you guys back away and we talk this out?"
  3. GM "Away, metal beast!" the Hooked Man shouted as Angelic struck him with her wings. "The Hooked Man will not fall to the likes of you!" He raised his sword as if to strike, even as Eira moved away, then paused, as he saw the golden dust flying all around him. He opened his mouth to speak, but a snarl was all that escaped his lips as the Forever Boy's shadow grasped him, pulling him back. The Hooked Man swung his sword wildly and Pan felt the air next to him being cut, while the pirate roared out a strained "Forever Booooy!"
  4. Forever Boy The Forever Boy struck the chain again. He gritted his teeth, annoyed at its resilience. Where had the Hooked Man fought this thing? Blow after blow, and it held. Of course, nothing less could hold the Crocodile. He heard the sound from above, Eira calling out to the Hooked Man, clothes being torn... and nothing else. Pan was gone in a flash, flying in a direct golden line up and around the ship, heading straight towards Eira. Along the way, his shadow broke free, flying down to the Hooked Man and grasping around him, pulling at the pirate, wrapping around him. He twisted around Eira, turned back towards the Hooked Man. "Hook!" he called out, raising his sword. The Forever Boy grinned that grin that Eira and Micah knew so well, just slightly too wide.

DC20 Reflex Save vs. Snare for the Hooked Man: 17, he's entangled! The Hooked Man swings his sword at Pan and it seems range isn't an issue: 17 A miss!   6. ROCKET "I think they'd approve." Jay studied the badge, turning it in his hand. Yeah, it probably wouldn't just be some kind of NFC or anything like that. That'd be too simple, and honestly, they were meant to explore everything here, right? So why not? "I dunno. Quantum positional entanglement?" Yeah. No need for anything that advanced, but maybe? The elevator opened, and Jay was inside like, well, a rocket. The different floors were marked with numbers for each floor, but the top was simple marked with a pair of golden letters: AA. "Fancy, huh?" Jay quipped, before pressing the button once Melissa was inside. The doors closed... and the elevator moved. It was fast. Far faster than any conventional elevator, up, up and then suddenly coming to a stop. With a loud *DING* the doors opened, revealing the Academy before them. Everything was chaos inside the Atom Academy. A giant robotic t-rex, with a very iPod like design, was running amok, roaring as it smashed through the area. Maximus Atom, grown to giant height, was wrestling the machine while people scattered around it. Tesla Atom was standing a bit away, holding back the creature with a nucleonic energy force field, keeping some younger students safe. She looked up once she saw Melissa and Jay. "Hey! Welcome to the Academy! We're just having some technical issues, don't worry, everything's completely safe!"
  7. Sorry it took a while for me to get back to you Right, to grapple, you first need to make an attack roll and hit with that, for a melee attack. So, give me an attack roll, then we'll use that grapple roll if you hit. If you miss, you won't have spent the HP.
  8. A morality test. Great. "Kill one to save many?" Casper made sure his mask was pulled down over his face. "Nothing's ever that simple, is it? Why's he doing it? What's happened? How's he doing it?" He shook his head. "So is this the part where you're either trying to find out if I'll take the hard choices, or the one where you want to know if I'll stand up and do the real hero thing and save everyone without killing?"

  15. GM The blow sent U.S.Archer flying back, hitting a wall hard. But at least the contact with his face put out the fire. A small mercy, maybe? Matt had stopped moving. He was standing when Luke turned towards him, a vacant expression in his eyes. In a flash, he moved forward, punching Luke's in the face with enough force to send even the dragon reeling.

  17. This? This was huge. Being here, in the Iceberg, in, well, not exactly plain clothes but not his working suit? That wasn't something he had expected to happen any time soon. Charles Arthur Pratten had passed all the security checks, but he had to leave all his gadgets behind, which wasn't really to his preference, but he'd make do anyway. Somehow, at least. Honestly, he didn't know that much about how to dress up for something like this, so he had let Alek help him. A dark grey business suit with a white dress shirt and matching dark grey tie underneath. His red hair was slicked back. He held one of Alek's briefcases in his right hand. So... an intern getting in here? That was a big deal. He had to act the part. Charlie held the briefcase up for yet another inspection. "So, uh, everything's still fine, right?"

    Pan's smile was sly. He watched Natalia work, the way her face shifted immediately from one extreme to the other. "Oh, I got a look inside. If they figure out about us I am sure that they will start causing trouble sooner rather than later. They were here to do violence. I do not think they care particularly if they will have to redirect that to someone else." He moved up to Natalia to catch up, his feet gliding across the ground with just a slight tingling golden trail left behind his feet. Once caught up, he motioned discretely with his head towards the man. "We could try to lead him away from the crowds before we confront him."
  19. GHOST Casper pulled back and waited for a second, and then... some kid jumped up and started shouting at the DJ. With a jump like that, the people had to have powers. But then what? Hero wannabe or bad guy? His eyes glowed, he almost growled... but he did want the DJ to stop. And then, he stopped and fell over, the smoke around them beginning to dissipate. "Yeah, he, uh... he kinda already did." He just stood there. "Hi. I'm Ghost." So what, glowing-eyes-boy? Fight or talk, then?

His body shook like lightning had run through it, then he felt down over the DJ booth, slumping down as if he had just been hit by something or someone. Holly screamed from the crowds and pointed. "Leon! You gotta help my brother!"

  22. It was a trap. It had to be. Why else would someone send Connor a freaking invitation? Sure, he had spent some time investigating the thing with the robots that Fast-Forward and Hologram had asked, but it had mostly been dead ends so far. So why a sudden invitation like that? The old man had agreed, but had suggested he go anyway. Why? Why walk into an obvious trap? Because he'd let the Keller play him again. If he knew it was a trap, then of course Connor would be good enough to get out of it. No issues at all, right? Connor headed towards the building, staying on the rooftops as best as he could. Keep an overview of what was going on below, see if he could pick out anyone patrolling the place.
  23. "So... looking at the things around here," Casper motioned towards the rifle behind the bar with his head, "it looks way too new for something that old. I didn't see any cars, everything's old models, but looking new." Was this some kind of time travel thing, then? Some sort of alternate reality sub dimension thing? Magic? Ah, joy. Three things that always gave Casper a headache. "So... time travel? Some kind of preserved bubble of your childhood home? Am I getting any closer here?"
