  1. Ghost: 30 Alright, results in IC!
  2. Alright, the other guard isn't going to spot you, but he's noticed that his friend's gone, so... now they know that someone's there. We'll move into some more active combat now, so give me an Initiative roll.
  3. GM The man was pulled up and quickly secured on the ceiling. A short while later, the other guard returned and looked around. "What the hell?" No one in sight, he looked around, before reaching for his radio. "Jimmy, you there?" With no response, he flicked a switch on the radio. "Boss, we're not alone. Jimmy and Ben's gone."
  4. GM "What the hell?" The loud noise drew their attention. The entire group turned and looked. Why wouldn't they, after all? And there was nothing there. Nothing to make the noise. Of course, there was something else out there, hiding in the shadows... Waiting to strike.
  5. Nevermore II The plan was simple enough, but then again, they didn't really need to get too complicated for these guys, did they? They looked like small fry, but then again, that was exactly the right kind of people to get the dirt on the Ushers and figure out what they were up to. Knew just enough to be useful. Nevermore nodded once. Yeah, alright, he could do that. He wasn't a mechnical genius or anything, but he knew enough, and he had tinkered with the drones for a while. He stayed in hiding while he moved the drone. He'd be backup, just in case. Once the drone had moved a bit away from the group, Nevermore picked a noise from his library. Soon after, the drone emitted a the noise of a loud car coming down the street. Not too unusual, but enough to make them turn and look.
  6. OOC for this. @Avenger Assembled @KnightDisciple Combat won't start right away, but let's get some Initiative rolls along with your intro posts! Eira is in command of her army of automatons. I won't be rolling individually for them attacking pirates, ships, crocodiles and what not, but see them as a rank 10 effect that you can apply to various actions as a Free Action once per turn. It can be stuff that won't require rolls like using them to block off a group of pirates that's attacking or actual effects like Damage, Stuns and so on, as long as they make sense for the action. They will slowly be whittled down during battle, so I will, eventually, be lowering the effect. The vast majority of the Hooked Pirates will act in much the same way. Currently, there's an armada of purposefully unnumbered Sky Pirate ships that fly above Victori, sending Hooked Pirates into the streets below. The flagship is by the coast surrounded by four ships from the armada, pulling the Crocodile into the city with a giant golden chain. Eira is by the palace, far from the coast. If she wishes to confront the flagship and the Crocodle, she will have to fight her way through the pirates. There's several Sky Pirate Ships out over the waters. As Pan and Micah arrives from the sea, they will not be able to simply fly straight for the Crocodile or the flagship. To make things clear, there's a few major objectives here: - Protect the people that remains in the ruins of Victori - Free the Crocodile - Defeat the Hooked Man - Return home
  7. GM In Victori, where the Horror and Heroes collide and the last battle will be fought. At the end of a story that has happened before, and will happen again. How much time had passed since Eira had parted with Pan and Micah? Since she had gone her own way in this world of stories? It was difficult to say. Weeks, at least. Months? Maybe, but probably not. Pan's world was strange. Especially now here, at the end, when the tales were starting to break down around her. The sky was dark, in the middle of the day. Not a cloud in sight, but an armada of flying ships blocked out the sun. Behind them, at the coast, the greatest of the ships dragged the monstrous Crocodile out of the sea by golden chain, leading it towards what remained of Victori. As the ships descended, Pirates leapt from them towards the city. Their mouths and eyes sewn shut, they moved as if they were puppets, scouring the city for all that remained. The Crocodile smashed the great clocktower by the coast, sending the remains tumbling into the streets below. "What a marvelous creature," Frankenstein mused, as he witnessed the destruction. Eira, Doctor Frankenstein by her side and her army of automatons were all that stood between the people of Victori and total destruction. And yet, there was a bright light out across the sea, shining in the horizon.
  8. GM As Pan and Micah flew out, to be the heroes they should be, the Pixies were left below. They began to shine as they danced about, golden dust flying everywhere around them. As they began to dissolve into nothing, the dust whirled about, a bright shining light, ever expanding from the Wish Isle, on the horizon behind the Forever Boy and the Thunderbird. A wish for everything to be alright, a wish for everyone to be safe and better. And a wish for the sake of friendship. The last wish of Neverworld.
  9. Forever Boy "Let us go help Eira," Pan agreed with Micah's sentiment. Whatever words had been exchanged between them before they parted, he was sure it would be fine. Even if it was not, it did not matter to Pan. He had to save this world. He had to save his friend. Most importantly, he had to save the girl, even if he knew she could save herself. With a final nod to the Pixies, he set off, like Micah. Hovering by him, he could not stop himself from smiling, despite everything else. "Ready to be a hero, my friend?"
  10. GM U.S.Archer looked between Ashley and Luke. Bow still in hand, he barely afforded Luke a glare. No, he was fully focused on Ashley. "The adults are talking." It was clearly directed at Luke, even if he didn't look in his direction. Right now, his eyes were entirely focused on Ashley and her weapon. "Matt Wagner", U.S.Archer put emphasis on the name, "is not a civillian. He is dangerous. Odds are that he was sent here to assasinate Miss Cahill." While he spoke, he lowered himself to the ground and placed his bow in front of himself, then stood up straight. "I've been tracking him for a while. From what I've gathered, he disappeared from the hospital a while ago, then turned up looking like that a short while later. He's been connected with several attacks on U.S. soil in the last few months." He paused. His eyes looked towards Matt briefly, before returning to Ashley. "He's hurt children. And yeah. Someone has obviously done something to him, probably against his will. He's got some kind of switch or something. Turn off Wagner, turn on the bad guy. He's hurt kids, for crying out loud, so yeah. But sure, if you want me disarmed, then whatever he's going to do, that'll be on you." Placing his foot under the bow, he kicked at it, sending it sliding across the floor towards Ashley.
  11. GM The Aliengator shook its head, blinking wildly. It seemed disoriented, though whether from the fall or the sudden appearance through the portal, who knew? It grunted, exhaling loudly as it looked around the people that were starting to panic and run around it. It didn't even seem to care about its former prey standing ready, not with so many others running around. It growled and started to move towards a nearby woman... and ran face first into a wall of ice. With another grunt of annoyance, the Aliengator swung its tail at the ice wall.

  15. I know I helped with a few things already, but let's give it another look. Abilities Looking good. Combat You should note how you arrive at Initiative +12 (+8 Dex, +4 Improved Initiative) You need to fill in Grapple and Knockback. Remember that Attack Focus [Melee] applies to the grapple bonus. Saves I got some good news for you about Defensive roll, but I'll put that under feats. Your Fort and Will saves are off, I guess you're using the ability scores bonuses from an earlier version where you have 18 Con and 12 Wis. Skills Looks fine. Feats We got a House Rule for Defensive Roll. 1 rank of Defensive Roll. You get +2 TOU per rank of Defensive Roll. With your high Reflex Save and low other saves, I'd consider increasing your Evasion to rank 2. You should note your enhanced feats here, just make a subheader, something along the lines of Enhanced Feats Dodge Focus 6 Improved Block Powers You should fix the formatting for your powers. Flaws, Feats, Extras etc. in italic, power name and rank in bold and so on. While you of course don't have to, why not spend the rest of the DP in the Strike powers for the Sword Fighting array? You could add Precise or more ranks of Penetrating to both, since it is a plasma rapier. As I mentioned when we discussed it over discord, I'm not really sure how useful the Riposte Strike will be, or if the refs will allow it. Just remember that in order to use it, you will have to remember to switch your array to Riposte at the end of your turn. Then, if you want to attack, you need to switch back on the next turn and won't be able to switch to Riposte again, so... something you gotta prep, at least. But I'll leave to the refs whether they'll allow it or not! Drawbacks You should apply the Noticable drawback to individual powers, but I'm not really sure if it would apply to any of the powers you got, since they're usually noticeable in some way. Maybe for your Concealment or Enhanced Feat powers in the Personal Shield? Final notes In order to meet caps with Toughness, I'd suggest you lower Defensive Roll to Defensive Roll 1, and switch the Improved Block feat from the Personal Shield to a single rank of Protection. That way your Toughness will be +6 (+3 Con, +2 Defensive Roll, +1 Protection), and you will have 2PP freed from your Feats that you can use to buy Improved Block as a non-enhanced feat and spend the last one to buy off the Noticable drawback, which should put you at 150/150.

  17. Casper frowned under his mask. No. He was not expected home soon. Not like anyone was waiting for him. The only good thing about being alone was that he wasn't running late all the time after dealing with super hero stuff. "Nah. I've got time." Casper still wasn't sure what he thought of Frost, but he sure as hell wasn't going to start talking about the whole divorce and kid and being on his own with him just yet. That part was easier with Fleur, at least. He floated alongside Frost, following him as he moved. "So, what's the business? Seems like a peaceful place."
  18. GHOST Yep, yep. Casper was right. Of course he was right. Oh, how he hated being right. This guy? This guy was up to trouble, and he was starting to get into a whole villain monologue thing here and he honestly didn't want to deal with that entire thing right now. So... Nope. A white hand came out of the floor next to Purple Haze's foot and passed through him, sending shocks through his entire body.

  20. GM Luke and Leon were not the only ones that were starting to feel the effect. People around them were starting to react to the haze that was spreading from the DJ. Some were giggling and laughing like Luke. Others were starting to feel dizzy like Leon. And then a woman screamed, not far from Luke. "Get away! Get away! Monster!" She clawed blindly at the man she had been dancing with moments before, while he groggily shook his head. "You alright, hun?" Holly caught Leon, holding him up. "Had a bit too much?" She held him close. "Sounds like being a hero's boring, huh? How about doing something more exciting, huh? My brother? He wants to change the world. Maybe you want in? Gonna be real exciting stuff." "Alright, everybody! Are you feeling it!?" Purple Haze was shouting now. "Are you having a good time!?" It didn't sound like he cared about the screaming woman at all. Or the others in the crowd that was starting to join in. "Now's the time, my friends! Your wildest dreams, all coming true, all for you! Like what you see? Don't like it? It's all good to me!" His tone shifted, becoming more sinister. "Now Purple Haze's in charge."
  21. GM The Bastion building seemed rather mundane from the outside. Nothing seemed especially out of the ordinary. If Chimera didn't accept Ghost's offer, she would find a fire escape on the side of the building, inside a small alley. She would at least be able to use that to get to the roof. The roof itself was sparse. A door in a small building, leading inside. A few vents making sure the building was properly ventilated. There was a keypad by the door.
  22. GHOST Casper looked after Chimera as she climbed down. Should he just get this over with, ghost them into the place and find whatever she was looking for, but... Nah. She had to do this, right. While Chimera made her way across the ground, Ghost flew down after her and held out a hand. "C'mon. I'll get you up there." If she accepted, he would ghost her and fly them both up to the roof.
  23. Since you're dragon size, your Intimidate is at +14, for total +16 since you're chewing on Trawler. Roll to resist: 29 Well, Beekeeper proves to be incredibly brave right now, so no effect. @Nerdzul give me an IC.
  24. You could always involve someone from Atom Academy, like Rocket ?
