  1. Gonna be gone without computer from July 5th to July 12th.
  2. GM Sebastian paused and looked at Outrider as she walked out from her hiding place. "Who is that?" he asked the rest of New Young Freedom. "She's that giant girl that's been hanging around Claremont lately, isn't she?" He stared at Outrider and held out a hand. "Doesn't matter." His eyes almost glowed as he began to worm his way into Outrider's mind.
  3. @Lone_Star give me a DC16 Reflex Save vs Area, then DC16 Will save vs. Mind Control if you fail, or DC13 if you succeed the reflex save. Casanova will be mind controlling you if you fail the Will save.
  4. @Tiffany Korta that's a miss, but give me an IC. Nevermore's notice: 25 Everyone notices that something's coming right for you from above, flying or falling towards you rather quickly, but you can't see what. It'll reach you at the start of the next round.
  5. Bad guys share initiative: 17 18 - Steel Spider - 4HP - Unharmed 17 - Robbers x5 - Unharmed So, you're up! They haven't spotted you yet, but they know you're there somewhere.
  6. You can only take 10 on attack rolls, as far as I know. Anyway, Grapple at 17, so he's bound and helpless and can be thrown. TOU save for thrown and hit guy: 16 16, both are down. The Carnifex hits, TOU: 24, also down. 20 - Blackstaff - 4HP - Unharmed 20 - The Dreamer - 1HP - Unharmed 19 - The Carnifex - Unharmed 18 - Rebellion - 4HP - Unharmed 6 - Takazumi-gumi - 1 outside, more?
  7. Little Mermaid II Wait, wait... Singularity was the mightiest among them? Mette wasn't even sure what she could do. Maybe they should've started with a little Q&A about what everyone could do or something like that? Mette muttered a quick thank you to Klara. Everyone else was doing the tough gal bit, puffing themselves up and looking all strong. Mette took a step forward, moving up next Sea Devil. The green scales on her uniform reflected the sunlight, as she took a heavy step, already starting to draw in the moisture around them in case the giants decided to get violent.
  8. Casper looked at the glass in front of him with some apprehension, especially when Frost warned him. The liquid was clear, see through. Looked almost like water, but didn't smell like it at all. Pulling the mask up to clear both his mouth and nose, he reached for the glass and raised it to his lips, quickly emptying it. And oh god that was strong. He couldn't resist a quick gasp for air, shaking his head lightly. "Oh. Yeah. That... that was something alright." Casper shook his head. Better leave the mask up for some air, at least for now. "I, ah... no. Not really. At least not like this," he said, gesturing to himself and the costume. "Kinda tends to attract the wrong kind of people, y'know." "So, what's the story? What is this place? People seem like they know you, and they don't even care that I'm all dressed up like this."
  9. Sorry for the delay! Reflex save vs. area: 14, failed! Reflex save vs. Snare: 21, avoided! @Dr Archeville is up!
  10. GHOST "Go for the noise, that's the classic." Ghost's tone was dry. Sure, kid made mistake, but she was doing fine. Everyone was nervous with someone more experienced looking over their neck, but he didn't feel like she should be left alone here. He adjusted his goggles, letting him see through the walls. "There's a guy in there and a girl on skates. Sound like someone you know?"
  11. GM It wasn't easy to make out what the voices were saying, but one was clearly a man, with a deep, rumbling voice, and the other was a woman. Her tone was lighter, playful. Sounded almost familar. The doors were labeled with names and titles. Neither of the heroes recognized any of the names, and the titles were usual stuff like director of this or that, senior researcher, head of this and that and so on. The door with the noise had the name Miles Travers, and the title CEO.
  12. Everyone else had been looking into the Doomforge since it showed up? Honestly, Jay felt kind of out of his depth here. He hadn't been doing anything like that, after all. "So, uh, I'm not really a Terminus expert or anything like that, but if it got small scale defences for taking it away in pieces, and its kinda stuck right now, do we know if it got anything that would disrupt the teleport?" He shrunk a bit in his seat. Why did he even ask that? "They're not really easy to get rid of, right? So what if there's something in there that can disrupt the teleport, or worse, alter it? I dunno, it might hijack the signal or something like that, send it somewhere we don't intend to send it?"
  13. Holly talks. @Nerdzul is up.
  14. GM Holly smiled, lightly shaking her head at Leon. When he reached out to her, she held her hand and let him lead her away. "Oh yeah? You sure its just the world you wanna change?" Her tone was playful. To Leon, it felt almost like they were floating. If she noticed what was happening to Leon, she didn't act on it. "The world's a bad, bad place, ain't it? You wanna help us change it for the better, right?" She leaned in close, almost, but not quite, brushing her lips against Leon's neck, before she pulled back again. "You're gonna help us, right?"
  15. Alright, rolling 5 times, each roll representing 10% of the armada. Reflex: 6 12 21 17 4 10% makes the Area Reflex Save Saves for full effect: Dazzle: 6 16 8 6: 0% pass Damage: 26 14 30 21: 20% pass, 10% slighty damaged, 10% badly damaged Saves for half effect Dazzle: 16: 10% pass Damage: 30: 10% pass Final result: 40% off the armada is blinded and defeaned, 10% is somewhat damaged, 10% is badly damaged. Give me an IC @KnightDisciple and I'll follow up. 31 - Forever Boy - 7HP - Unharmed 24 - The Hooked Man - Unharmed - The Crocodile - Unharmed, Hooked - Chain: Injury (x1) 12 - Thunderbird - 3HP - Unharmed 10 - Pirate Armada - (40% blinded and deafened, 10% somewhat damaged, 10% badly damaged), 60% fine 7 - Angelic - 4HP - Unharmed
  16. Since they're linked, that's just 1 Reflex Save vs. Area, same thing as an attack roll only requiring one hit when linked. You got three options of how to place the attack, with the first two avoiding hitting civilians: 1: Hit Hook, the Crocodile and about 20% of the armada. 2: Hit about 50% of the armada, but not Hook and the Crocodile. 3: Hit about 75% of the armada, but not Hook and the Crocodile and you're going to hit Eira, Pan, Eira's automatons, Frankenstein and civilians.
  17. GM From his flagship, the Hooked Man stared out at sea, at the golden light. His coat dark red coat had a golden trim and was immaculate. His white dress shirt and black pants underneath decidedly less so, torn and dirty. His dark boots were heavy. His black hair was long, his once neat beard growing wild. A wide brimmed dark red hat with golden trim and a fading white feather slowly rose as he stared upon the light. His eyes, previously all but empty and devoid of passion slowly lit up. His lips curled into a grimace as he witnessed the golden streak flying past him. The hook that was where his right hand should be started to shake with anticipation. The ship shook as the chain was struck. "Forever Boy." He raised his left hand, stretching out his long pale fingers. As if pulled on invisible strings, the Crocodile moved, roaring as it trampled through buildings with ease. Bricks and buildings fell, people screamed. And then he noticed Eira's automatons as they rose to meet his armada. And the Thunderbird that approached from the sea. "You brought new friends."
  18. Forever Boy Pan grinned at his friend. "Then bring the thunder!" Golden dust shimmered around him, brighter and greater. "I will find Eira." Then, he was gone. A glowing golden trail led from him, straight towards the city. He fought the urge to go fly by the Hooked Man's ship, but he couldn't resist a single swipe along the way. "Hello, Hook." A calm, short declaration as he drew the Forever Blade. He was sure that the Hooked Man would hear him anyway. He struck at the Crocodile's chain once, and then he was gone. The golden trail streaking through the city, Pan could not miss the machines as they set off into the sky. "Eira!" he shouted, as he flew straight towards her.
  19. Forever Boy pours on the speed. Trickster Array to Flight, for total Flight 17. First order of business, find Eira, but he strikes the chain on the way: 27 And that's a crit. DC32 TOU save from the massive chain: 31, that's an Injury. The Hooked Man directs the Crocodile to attack Victori, tearing through some buildings, guiding it in Pan's direction. And @KnightDisciple is up after my ICs. 31 - Forever Boy - 7HP - Unharmed 24 - The Hooked Man - Unharmed - The Crocodile - Unharmed, Hooked - Chain: Injury (x1) 12 - Thunderbird - 3HP - Unharmed 10 - Pirates - So many 7 - Angelic - 4HP - Unharmed
  20. Forever Boy Out at sea. Racing through the sky at the speed of plot. The golden glow of the final wish behind him. His best friend by his side. The Forever Boy returned! --- His eyes focused in front of him, Pan took in the sights in the distance. Too far away too see much, beyond the dark shapes in the sky and the giant beast by the sea, he pushed on. "Micah!" Despite the winds, his voice could be heard clearly in his friend's ears. "Behold, Victori! Behold, the Crocodile!" His momentarily serious expression broke into a wide grin. "Behold, adventure!" Plans? He didn't need any plans. He would do just fine without plans. They had the wish, they had each other, and soon, they would find Eira. What more could he need than his friends and their trust?
  21. Pan: 31 Pirates: 10 Hooked Man: 24 Everyone gets +1HP for ordeals so far. The Hooked Man commands the Crocodile, so it acts on his turn. Pan and Micah are currently at sea, but given their flight speeds, they will be able to arrive once combat starts. 31 - Forever Boy - 7HP - Unharmed 24 - The Hooked Man - Unharmed - The Crocodile - Unharmed, Hooked 12 - Thunderbird - 3HP - Unharmed 10 - Pirates - So many 7 - Angelic - 4HP - Unharmed Let's get an arrival post from @KnightDisciple after mine, then we'll kick in with the combat!
  22. Late, late, late. Of course Jay was late. Again. And just when he had been picked to represent the Atoms at this whole... thing. The Doomforge? Yeah, he knew about the Doomforge, he didn't have powers when Omega attacked, but uncle Johnny had told him all about it, and it had been bad. Still, he kinda wondered why he had been chosen. Super fast, sure, but he mainly dealt in physics, quantum or otherwise, and, well... this was a Doomforge. Moving towards the conference room, he passed by Miss Americana and Harrier and slowed down just in time before he reached the door, coming to a complete stop. "Sorry, sorry, I know I'm late! I'm Rocket, from the Atom Academy!" He kind of wanted to shake their hands, but at the same time? He was late, and Voltage was waiting. But honestly? With these people here, what was he doing here?
  23. Nevermore II Again? Charlie couldn't help but grin at Callie as she raced off. Yeah, yeah, alright. She wanted a race, he'd give her a race. Grapple line fired, he swung after Callie, going into a deep swing and bringing himself high up above her then releasing and spreading out his wings to fly past her Callie from above. She was good, but she was using outdated tech. He would have to do something about that later, right? "Come on, I thought you were fast!" he shouted from above.
  24. ROCKET Jay felt like he should just place his foot in his mouth. Of course she'd already figured out some way of using that electricity discharge... and she'd been there already. Great, like he didn't feel like a newbie already. But alright, alright, he'd catch up. "Hey, I get that. Look?" Jay held out his hand. It was almost vibrating at super speed. "See? I can barely stand still!" The doors opened. The pair was already being scanned and recorded by a probably staggering number of security devices. The lobby to the Atomic Tower seemed rather mundane, to be honest. Some chairs, some small tables with various, mainly science related, magazines in stacks. The receptionist was obviously not ordinary. An android with a digital screen for a face, dressed in a standard blue and black Atom Academy uniform. The face displayed a series of emoticons, currently showing a great big =D as Jay and Melissa approached. "Greetings, true believers!" the receptionist announced loudly, with a slighty synthesized voice. "Welcome to Atomic Tower, home to the Atom Family and the Atom Academy!" It paused for half a second, like it was running through some processes, before reaching for someting under the table and pulling out a pair of badges. Primarily white, one had the tri colored atomic symbol of the Atom Academy with a black bee in the middle, the other with a black rocket behind it. "Security scans have confirmed that you are Melissa Bowles and Jason Wade. Welcome to your first day at Atom Academy! These badges will give you all the access that you need! Please use the elevator to the right to reach the Academy!" Jay picked up the badge and looked at it. A rocket? Yeah, alright, personalized badges were kind of cool. He looked at Melissa, then he was gone, standing by the elevator and waving his badge in front of the scanner on the door. "C'mon, I thought you were in a hurry."
