  1. Give me initiative rolls.
  2. Spaceman Parker frowns. All of this, to make a disposable army? He can feel how many are in there, moving around. Can't see them, no way to tell how old they are, how long they have been there, how long they have lived, how many are alive or not... And the woman besides them? She looks horrified. Absolutely horrified. "Please. You know that we can't let you do this." He kind of wishes that he had worn his outfit. Dressed like this, in normal clothes, hardly seems like the ideal look to try to sway someone. "We'll figure this out and try to get everyone here help, but you have to stand down." For some reason, he doesn't really believe that it will work.
  3. GM The wind is picking up. Sand is starting to fly all around them. Almost like it is pushing them towards the cave. "Sure, all those might be true," Dr. Macedon responds in response to Carmen's teasing. "There's mountain lions, maybe some wolves or coyotes..." She stops, realizing that while these kids could probably deal with it... no need to keep going. "Don't worry, it'll be fine. It'll be hotter in there than outside, at least." Motioning with her head, Dr. Macedon begins to walk towards the cave. Once inside, the takes out a flashlight, lighting it up. The cave is big and deep, leading further into the mesa. "See? No critters of any kind." She pauses for a moment. "But, y'know... watch where you step."
  4. The STORMCROW "We have a jet," Charlie corrects Vik. "I told you, this isn't my place, it's ours. Pol and I set it up, but it's for all of us." He can guess where Leon was going, but like he guessed, Charlie ignores it. They will have to deal with this at some point, but not today. It'll lead to issues down the road if not, or even now, but he does want Leon there. "Alright, come on! Hangar, library, training room and everything else along the way! And pick out some rooms, even if you don't live here, they're yours if you need it!" The rest of the day goes on with Charlie showing everyoune around the mansion, the secret rooms, the defenses, and well, anything needed to be there. Whatever secret defenses or anything they would like to know (and probably many more), Charlie shares. No secrets that Charlie can share is not shared.
  5. Spaceman Parker is better. The blood has stopped, at least. Bruises instead of cuts. The black orbs still krackle off his body. It took a lot to push into this state, he has to keep at it, while he moves over to the others. Michael has the right idea about staying together, but Mizuki is panicking too early. "We haven't tried to leave, yet. We'll figure it out, but we have to deal with all of this first." He has ideas. If they're in another reality or timeline or whatever it is, then Lawrence's powers might not be enough on his own, but maybe if they combine their abilities? Parker doesn't have the time to ask about it before his senses catch on to the spacecraft in the sky. The others will see it soon enough, and then... Lawrence creates a portal and goes through. Too fast, maybe? Velocity and Vueriz follows. Lawrence is probably right. Still keeping his powers to their full reach, he offers a strained grin to Michael. "You said to stick together, right? C'mon." Lifting off from the ground, Parker flies into the portal, leaving a trail of rapidly dissolving black krackle behind.
  6. The STORMCROW Kissing Bernie quickly, Charlie waved at her with a grin, before he turned to Vueriz. "C'mon, you'll get a better look at what's going on from the other side of the stage, V. You coming, Callie?" While Multiplicity gets on stage and begins the songs, Charlie leads Vueriz through the crowds. He has already spotted the group of students that's there to cheer for Bernie. Honestly, it feels kind of weird seeing everyone together like that, with the year and change that he had missed, and having been a year ahead of Bernie anyway. There's a few students that he recognizes as having been at Claremont while he was there, and more that he has never met, aside from briefly at the christmas party. And then, there's Michael of course. He'll have to remember to ask how his plans have been going. As he moves, he keeps looking back over his shoulder to make sure the Vueriz is following, alternating between looking at her and Bernie and the band on stage. "Hey guys, I found a stray wandering around backstage," he says when the first song ends, motioning to Vueriz with his head. "Guess there's a few of you that I haven't seen before. I'm Charlie."
  7. Space Ranger III Korus doesn't have any enemies like that as far as J'onn knows. Their issues tend to be more internal, even after J'onn's grandfather went and saved the planet. "It can't have been that long ago, if the power cell's modern," he notes, while he moves to study it. "Korus doesn't have any enemies like that, far as I know. We haven't really made enough of an impact on the galaxy to do something like that." He moves around it, trying to see anything that might be useful.
  8. ARCHER II Everyone but the woman gets out of there quick. Good. Stepping back to his sky-bike, Archer jumps on it and quickly steers it down towards the ground, landing heavily in front of the man. Clad in his red and white costume, he stares the two for a moment. He doesn't like the look of the woman. She's probably on that damn drug, and about to jump him any moment, but much as he want to be pragmatic, he can't bring himself to attack her just like that. Walking over to the thug, Archer looks down at him encased in the foam. "Selling in my neighborhood? Not the best idea." He reaches for a sharp arrow, pulling it out and putting it on his bowstring, pulling it back and taking aim at the thug's face. "Word is that there's a new super drug on the street. Start talking."
  9. Spaceman Parker grits his teeth, holding back against Mizuki's blows as they rain down on Eclipse, making sure she doesn't that she doesn't get to fall away from them, and, then... Nothing. No Paradox. Parker doesn't quite believe it, and he holds on to Eclipse, like he is sure that she will disappear the moment he lets go of her, instead swinging her unconscious form over his shoulder. "I'm fine," he says to Mizuki, once she's ready. "But we can't really leave that star here, if that's what gave the Starblights their powers, and I'm not about to leave Ashley behind for that Paradox guy to come and grab her." Could they move it? He isn't quite sure about actually touching it.
  10. Spaceman Parker doesn't have time to respond to Michael, before he is by the side of the officer, taking the hits as the creatures cut into him. He feels his blood flowing, but he can take it. He has to take it. Anyone he can protect, he has to protect. He feels the officer falling by Michael. They were too slow. Parker's eyes go wide as he feels him falling, feels Lawrence and Velocity move around, feels everyone fighting. Too many. There's just too many of these robots all around, punching down, overwhelming them. And then, Lawrence says a single word that causes a shiver to run up Parker's spine: Communion. They had learned about them at Claremont, about what it was, about what they could do, and this is much too early for them to appear. Someone is majorly screwing with time, and why? To get to Lawrence? Putting everyone here in danger? Small bubbles of intense black begin to rise from Parker's body as he throws himself to the side, away from the Communion Drone that is attacking him. He reaches out, feeling everyone around him, getting into the best position to get to as many as he can at once. Do the best he can. The intensity and size of the bubbles begin to vary, some much larger, some smaller, parts of Parker's ripped clothes and his body looking like they are starting to dissolve into the black. And then he reaches out, reaching out for everyone he can at once, grabbing hold of every single drone within reach that he can. Around him, 5 drones are hit by a punch. The ones that don't break from the initial strikes are pulled down, being smashed into the ground with enough force to break them. Spaceman stares around. How many more are there? He can't reach more from here, but it takes too much focus to keep this going to fly fast or shift his own distance too much at once... "I can't fly as fast while I keep this up! I need someone to get me to the center of as many of these things as possible!"
  11. I was actually wrong, it's a 40 ft. radius, not 20. How many can I get with that? Anyway, gonna move slightly to get as many as I can within the 40 ft. radius, then spend 1HP to stunt off the Space Movement array for this power: Area Strength 8 Adds (Extras: Area [Targeted Burst] 8, Selective 8; Flaws: Distracting) to Strength (40 ft. radius) {8/10} (Descriptors: Reach Everything) And I'd like to set Personal Space Control Array to Impervious Toughness/Immovability and Space Control Array to Elongation/Enhanced Strength. And then Parker is going to punch every bad guy he can reach at once. If they're minions, I'd like to take 10 to hit them with 18, which is a DC23 TOU save for everyone he hits, and then try to establish a grapple on everyone that I hit: 37
  12. The STORMCROW Ninja. There's ninjas in the crowd, above them, who knows where else? Charlie had fought his fair share the last time he was in Japan, during the world tour with the Raven. The Ushers had hired some local clan to help them, and they had beat up a lot of them, but that couldn't be why they were here. It wouldn't make any sense... Doesn't matter right now. He can find out the why later. "You see them, right?" he asks Leon and Neko, while he reaches into his reinforced backpack, into the secret room with his uniform. "We need to keep everyone safe, get the crowds out of here. Seems like they're going for the scene, maybe we can get them up there and keep them contained. Cover for me a sec while I get changed."
  13. Charlie: 28 Ninjas: 17 28 - Stormcrow - 7HP - Unharmed 24 - Paper - 4HP - Unharmed 23 - Multi-Girl Dupe - Unharmed 17 - Ninjas - Unharmed, many of them 17 - Multi-Girl - 2HP - Unharmed 9 - Neko - 2HP - Unharmed So, there is a so far unknown number of ninjas. There's some in the rafters, there's a lot appearing in the crowds. We'll see how many there are as the fight goes on. The crowds of regular people can be an issue both with people seeing you out of costume and getting in the way, the ninjas are not above hiding behind them! I'll spend my turn getting Charlie suited up, which means @Spacefurry is next
  14. Notice: 20 Parker also has this super sense: Super-Senses 8 (Distance Sense, Spatial Awareness [Sense Type: Mental, Extras: Accurate, Acute, Extended 2 [Range Increment x100], Radius, Ranged]) [8PP] (Descriptors: Spatial Senses, Enhanced Senses, Mutation, Space/Spatial, Z-Space) which should basically make him able to feel where everything around him.
  15. Spaceman "Thank you, but I'll be fine," Parker says when Michael tries to hand him the pill. "I don't get motion sickness." He doesn't comment on the rest. He can do this. He has to do this. He watches the others as they pass through the writhing mass that is the portal and... Vueriz is there too. Parker looks down at her. They all have issues going through this portal, it is alien to all of them, even her, and... He can do this. He has to. "C'mon," he says, offering her his hand. "We can do this." Stepping through the portal, his senses are immediately bombarded with a cacophony of distances and entrances and exits and everything all around them and... Then he's on the other side. He did not get motion sickness. He knew exactly where everything was, but the moment he steps through and feels all the non-euclidian shapes and distances around them. "Are you alright?" he asks Vueriz, as he lets go of her hand. He doesn't like what Sea Devil is saying about what they might see here...
  16. @Thevshi how many bad guys are within a 20 foot radius of Spaceman?
  17. Spaceman Spaceman maintains his focus, letting the bursts of solar radiation rain down over Eclipse while the others finally take down the dragon. With Torpedo Lass throwing the blast, he lets go, the blasts of radiation disappearing seconds before the the sphere of energy strikes Eclipse. He looks over his shoulder at Rot, allowing himself the moment to look at her as he listens to her mad cackling. She'll hopefully deal with the growing abyss, since she broke it in the first place, and then, maybe, she will be the next problem, but for now, he turns back to the fight. They need to deal with Eclipse first. As La Puma Negra strikes, slashing and knocking Eclipse down, Parker sees his moment. Decreasing the distance inside his body, he goes solid once more, pushing everything towards strength, then instantly decreases the distance between himself and Eclipse to land heavily on top of her. Striking her into the ground with enough force to crack it, Spaceman quickly opens his fist and grabs hold, pulling Eclipse up and out of the ground, grabbing hold around her and pulling her back up, twisting her around in front of him, quickly moving his arms under her armpits, with his hands behind her head, holding her in place. "No, he won't. Not this time. This time I'm ready for that," Parker says calmly, as he holds her tight, before shouting. "Torpedo Lass! I got her! Hit her with everything you got!"
  18. I'm gonna hold Eclipse with the grapple so Torpedo Lass and Puma can hit her, since she's now Bound and Helpless with an effective Defense of 5, in addition to you getting +4 to hit and being able to coup de grace if you want to! IC coming tomorrow
  19. Alright, gonna switch away from the stunt and back to elongation and super-strength, since her being prone means that I'd take a penalty to hit otherwise and Personal Space Control Array to Super-Strength. Power Attack Maneuvre for +2DC/-2ATK, and rolling to punch her: 14 That should hit, as confirmed by Poncho, meaning a DC25 TOU save. Gonna try to establish a grapple if she's still standing: 52 And depending how that goes, I might want to do something more.
  20. Reflex Save: 14, but Evasion 2, so still rolling Toughness vs. the lower of the two. TOU save: 23
  21. GHOST Now this is some interesting tech. It's familiar enough to Casper that he can actually work it (thankfully its not some kind of bio-tech or anything like that, then he would have no idea what to do aside from just rip the reactor out of the sockets...), he just need to figure out where everything goes. Casper has no idea what Patriot is saying or what language it is, but even without looking over his shoulder, he's sure that she's threatening them, which... fair enough. Glancing over his shoulder, he sees the grenade. That's... not optimal. Suicide missions are really not his thing. So, what can he do, now that he's getting into the generator? Propulsion? That's gotta go. Can't let these guys get closer to the Earth. Weapons? Oh yeah. No guns, no fun, and there's a few Praetorians out there. The lifts? He'll save that for later. "Hey, gang? Ghost here," he speaks into his communicator. Both the League and the Praetorians should be looped in there, right? "I'm at the ship's generator with Patriot. Fun little thing. Real interesting. Anyway, I'm gonna shut down the weapon and propulsion systems now, if anybody wanna make some badass boasts and tell them that bad space invaders don't get to go anywhere in their big spaceship. Oh, right, and you can tell them that if they keep misbehaving I'll pull the generator out into space." Reaching in, Ghost shuts it down. And then... no weapons. No propulsion.
  22. Standard action to try to disable the weapon systems and propulsion with Disable Device for now: 32
  23. I'd like to spend a move action examining the generator with Knowledge [Technology] to figure out how I can shut down parts of the things that it powers with Disable Device. Weapons, propulsion, hangar bay gates and such are a priority, but anything else I can find is good too. Rolling 18, and I'll spend a Hero Point to reroll that: 31
  24. ARCHER II Another freaking super drug. Ever since that whoe affair with Cortex and his drugs, it had felt like a new drug that would give people powers or kill them pops out every other week, and people are just desperate enough that it keeps working. Sitting on a rooftop with his Sky-Bike parked besides him, Connor surveils the scene below. The big thug seems like the seller. The woman is probably on the drug and is gonna burn up any moment. If he shouts or comes running for them, they'll run, and then he'll have to chase them. He hates having to chase pushers. Instead, he selects two arrows, sticking them to certain tips and takes aim, then let's the two arrows armed with rapidly expanding and hardening foam fly towards the thug.
  25. Gonna fire an Autofire Snare at the thug, because screw that guy: 29 DC16 Reflex Save vs. Snare and up to +3DC from the Autofire.
