Timeout Lawrence looked over to his friends as they all started interjecting and asking questions, Daedalus, Captain Thunder and Lady Liberty looking at the teens as well. "Of course I know where it is, I have been there several times." Lawrence replied to Michael. "It was in Kesteven 79 in our timeline, but I understand it moved around and was not there earlier during the Incursion, so it could be anywhere now. And yeah, I am afraid I have no idea about the code used in our timeline." The blond teen looked over to Parker as he asked his questions, but before he could answer, Mizuki spoke up with something that drew Lawrence’s attention. He glanced over at Consuelo as she spoke up, but did not respond to her questions, instead focusing back on Mizuki. "An isolated time bubble? That….would explain a lot, including what is different here." He added, glancing back to Parker. "But to do that to this scale would take a tremendous amount of power….like what you could theoretically get from harnessing a singularity." He then continued, his expression becoming more concerned as he spoke. "A singularity? What are you talking about?" Daedalus asked, given Lawrence a questioning look. "Fake? What do you mean fake? I don't feel fake." The teenage version of Velocity asked, looking over at Consuelo. Lawrence glanced over to Vueriz as she asked her questions, shaking his head. "I am afraid I don't know the details of either of those things. Either Daedalus did not know, or more likely, he simply never told me." As the blond teen spoke, a massive star cruiser seemed to settled into position above the City Center as several smaller spacecraft took up higher positions above Freedom City. Amidst the rubble of the downed needle like ships, holographic projectors whirred to life, orienting themselves upward before spinning to life and generating the image of a figure hundreds of stories tall above the heart of Freedom City. "Salutations Daedalus, my bitter enemy." The armored League member looked up at the image above. "Star Khan." There was a hint of shock in the immortal inventor’s voice. The figure had gaunt, grey-blue skin topped with a flowing mane of white hair and tapered ears, his coldly intelligent black eyes set above high cheekbones. He was dressed in a black sheathe and asymmetrical, chitinous armor that covered his torso and right shoulder. Partially translucent cables sloshing with a thick silver fluid sprouted form his throat, wrists and the base of his spine like parasitic growths. Pale yellow lines like circuit board patterns traced his pallid flesh, even stretching over the surface of his black eyes. His voice as deep and resonant, but with each word there was an almost imperceptible hesitation, as though he were somehow unused to such vocalizations. Michael could see a resemblance to the young Star Khan he had met only days earlier, although clearly much older and more gaunt. "Long has Kinan Khan waited to see your arrogance cause your home world to fall to ruin," the hologram continued, spreading his hands as if surveying the plums of fire and smoke at his feet, "but I speak to you this day not as conqueror, but as herald for my new- -" the veins in Star Khan's neck stood out like cords and his eyes bulged but more fluid pumped through the tubes in his neck and the expression fade. "My new master. Know that the Communion has returned to claim is place as the dominant and only intelligence in creation. Your homes, your works, your bodies will be but raw materials for the Communion and in this you shall finally know purpose. Rebellion is meaningless. Surrender is unnecessary. You will commune." As Star Khan finished, the assembled space craft began firing down on the city and dozens upon dozens of the needle like craft launched from the hovering starships, streaking down towards the city below.

Mulit-Girl Bernadette and the band waited a few moments for applause and cheers to die down from the first song before they began the next song. It began with a steady, somewhat low key but catchy drum beat and guitar. When Bernadette began to sing, her voice had a “breathy,” melancholy tone. Bought a bunch of makeup Tryna cover up my faaace I started to skip luuunch Stopped eatin’ cake on birthdaaaayys Bought a new prescriptionnnn To try and stay caaaaalm ‘Cause there’s always somethin’ missinnnn’ There’s always somethin’ in the mirror That I think looks wrong As she began to sing the chorus, Bernadette’s voice was more even, if still a bit melancholy, as her duplicates joined in for parts. Timeout Lawrence had been relieved to see the others emerge from the theater with an unconscious teenage girl whom he presumed to be Eclipse. He was more concerned that some of them appeared injured, particularly Mizuki. "Are you okay?" He asked her as he used his powers to heal his friends (and the unconscious Orion). When the Starbright known as Kitty spoke up about Umbra Star and the need to protect it, the blond teen listened carefully, deep in thought. When she finished, he looked over to the others. "I can get Eclipse and FX over to Freedom Hall and have the Freedom League take them into custody and get that process started." He began before looking over at the large gem. "As for the Star, magic is rather outside my area of expertise. The League can probably get Phantom involved, but she is often rather busy, and might be sometime before she can take a look at things. If we wanted to keep things 'in house' so to speak, I can call in a favor with my foster sister and she can probably arrange to have Veronica Danger drop by pretty quickly. She should at least be able to give us an idea of what it is we are dealing with here, and possibly help renew the spell hiding the Star from Sola."

GM Hovering in the air, Star Khan looked about the battlefield for a moment. The Hunter he had been engaged with was back up, but some distance behind the one currently engaged in melee with the rocky mercenary that had delt with Gor'an. Eclipse was engaging the troops approaching from the south, and to the northwest, the dropship had just loaded the unconscious Gor'an aboard. Deciding the Hunter could wait for the moment, Star Khan turned slightly toward the dropship bringing both hands up as he fired a powerful blast of energy at the vessel. The blast struck the dropship, causing further damage to it, but still failing to cripple it. A scowl came over the young Khan's face as the dropship's engines began powering up to liftoff…

Star Khan will again turn his attention to the drop ship, full power attack getting a 14 to hit (which hits), DC 34 toughness save: 27, again with great rolls, so picks up another injured.

Nope, and there is a recovery check normally, but bruises auto heal anyway (and your ranks in Healing would mean she would auto pass the check anyway). @Electra

GM As Gaian Knight's rock attack swept in hit and sent the large Boran in melee with Vor'an flying and momentarily dazing the large alien, the Justicar took a step back to reassess the situation as he remained near Artificer. Turning in the direction of two more charging Borans, the Zultasian leveled his power pike at one of them. The weapon's end glowed with energy as a powerful beam shot out to strike the charging Boran dead center. The blast knocked the creature off its feet and sent it flying back dozen of feet, where it slammed into several troopers, knocking them all to the ground as well. The Justicar then lifted his weapon back up into a ready stance as he prepares for the next threat to appear.

Okay, Vor'an will full power attack -5 atk/+5 dam and blast at one of the charging Borans (taking 10 to hit the PL 8 minion): DC 30 toughness save: 18, so it goes down. @Exaccus Moon-Moth is up!

The gun gets a 14, so yeah, you tear it loose! (as mentioned in Discord, it was a DC 40 toughness save by taking the full round action to use Super Strength to apply damage to an object).

GM After stepping over Rock's attempt to slam into it, the Hunter mecha turned back toward the massive hero, a plasma blade extending from its main weapon arm as it stepped back toward Rock. As it approached, the Hunter swung its arm down, the plasma blade cutting into Rock’s stoney hide. A bit further off, the crew of the Khanate dropship managed to drag the unconscious form of Justicar Gor'an onboard the transport. To the south of the town, the group of Khanate troopers dropped off by the dropship continued to move steadily toward the center of town, firing as they approached. A hail of blaster fire erupted around Eclipse, as ten of the troopers zeroed in on her. Bit of stone were blasted off the fountain she had taken cover behind, but even with some of the troopers trying to set up shots for a few of the others, Eclipse managed to remain behind cover and avoid any incoming fire. The troopers seemed to have wised up some, as they were spread out such that she would likely only be able to catch a couple in any wide area shot. The other group of Khanate troops continued moving toward the house where the Thuarian delegation and their bodyguards had taken cover, returning fire on the bodyguards who had been shooting out the widows and doorway. Two of the Thuarian’s went down, though how badly they were injured was difficult to tell as they fell out of view. Then the Thuarian's returned fire, hitting five of the Khanate troopers. One of those hit went down, apparently out of the fight. Another fell to the ground as well, but seemed ready to get back up, while several others were hit, two had the blast graze their armor, not injuring them, while another had a minor wound and continued moving forward.

Okay, the dropship crew manage to drag the Justicar onboard this round. The Hunter that Rock just missed with try to cleave him with its plasma blade, hitting with a 19, so a DC 25 toughness save for Rock @Gizmo (not sure what his Impervious is, but there is 5 penetrating on the rank 10 attack so..) The other Hunter is clearing a daze. Okay, troopers: the group that had been heading towards Eclipse turns to move toward where she moved to, taking a move action and firing this round. They are pairing up into three groups (2 of 3, and one of 4), the first 2 (3 in the last group) will be trying to use Aid for the other (DC 10): they almost all succeed, so each of the remaining three that are shooting at Eclipse get +4 to their attacks: 10, 20, 11 they still all miss. The other troopers (8 able to this round) are firing on the house: only 2 manage to hit any of the bodyguards using that as cover. DC 20 toughness saves: 10 and 12 (so staggered and dazed, the other bruised and dazed). Brings up: Round Five 21 Thuarian Guards (10 unharmed, 1 staggered and dazed, 1 bruised and dazed) 19 Eclipse 2 HP (unharmed) 14 Star Khan (unharmed) 14 Rock 0 HP (unharmed) 13 Dropship Pilot (unharmed) (dropship injured 2) 13 Dropship gunner (unharmed) 9 Rogue Khanate Hunters (1 unharmed, 2 bruised) 8 Rogue Khanate Troopers (19: 10 moving towards Eclipse, 9 moving towards center of town (three bruised, one dazed)) The Thuarian Guards return fire: due to range, 5 manage to hit. DC 20 toughness saves: 2 make it, 1 is bruised and dazed, and another bruised, and 1 (staggered) we will call out). And Eclipse is up @Fox (the troopers have spaced out so the best she could likely do is get three in her cone attack)

GM Starshot easily hits the shapeshifted Grue that was attacking him, knocking it back slightly and dazing it, but it was not out of the fight yet. Only one of the other Arcane was still on its feet and active at the moment, and it hurled a mystical blast at Doktor Archeville, who had anticipated the attack and was able to dodge aside. Star Khan had a concerned look on his face as he considered the mystical energy the lead Grue Arcane had just unleashed. The Zultasian looked over toward Doktor Archeville. "I suspect that may have been targeted on the Sarcota….perhaps to send them into a destructive frenzy? We likely should get outside once more and ascertain what is going on." He suggested, hovering in place and seemingly ready to fly back out of the cavern.

Okay, only one Grue Arcane can act this round due to daze, and it will try to hit Dok A with a mystical blast, missing with a 18. Star Khan will ready an action to move, as he looks to see what Dok A wants to do about the possible complications with the spell just cast. and it is Dok A's turn! @Dr Archeville

GM The blast from Visor slammed into Nightscale, causing the massive dragon to rear back from the impact and crash into a nearby building as he was not longer able to keep himself aloft. As the massive dragon came crashing down, it felt a burning pain as Mindfire latched onto its mind, further injuring him. Over in the street near the overturned armored transport, Big Horn regarded Paper before looking over to Shift (who had just taken out two of the Legion duplicates). Dropping his head, the hulking villain ran towards the robot. The large metal horns on his helmet slammed into Shift as he quickly closed the distance with her.

Okay, chatted with Zul, he is going to take the bruise and dazed from the first attack and Nightscale will spend his turn this round clearing that daze. So Big Horn will move forward and try to smash Shift with his horned helmet, hitting with a 28, that is a DC 29 toughness save for Shift @Heritage (don't forget she is already injured so it is at -1). GM Despite the display of power by the various heroes in the hanger, and the threat of the ship losing power, the various aliens following Dovox seemed unwilling to surrender just yet. The large Boran that had managed to withstand Gaian Knight's latest attack raised his weapon again and tired to strike the League member, but once again the veteran hero avoided the attack, causing the alien to snarl in frustration. Meanwhile, several more Boran moved their way through the gathered troops at one end of the hanger, trying to get closer to the group of heroes. Two of them managed to get clear and start rushing towards where Artificer and Justricar Vor'an stood not far from Gaian Knight.
