Multi-Girl As Ryan called out, all of the redheads out on the field turned their heads a moment, but only one stopped what she was doing, lowering her lacrosse stick as she turned to face the younger teen, the others continuing with what they were doing. That Bernadette called out in her distinctive Irish accent as she started walking his direction, swinging her lacrosse stick up so that it rested across her shoulders and behind her neck and hooking her free arm over it as well to keep it in place. While Bernadette was generally very friendly and cheerful, since the events during the return trip from the visit to Fiji, she had been known to be a bit more irritable and short tempered than normal. The group that the redhead had been with had ended up in a situation no less dangerous than the one Ryan's group had faced, finding themselves in the middle of the 1993 Terminus Invasion. Bernadette had lowered her head, looking down as the spotlight turned off and there was only a dim light over her. As Summer played the last few notes on the piano, the dim light that had been over her faded until the only light in the club was the dim light over Bernadette.

Claremont Academy Freedom City, New Jersey Wednesday March 27, 2024. 7:08 AM The buzz about Bernadette O'Connell's band, Multiplicity, had been growing over the course of the school year at Claremont. Back in the Fall, it had mainly been students that had listened to her band’s recordings online, or rumors about the redheaded Senior going out at least one night a week to perform at various venues around the city. Then the band had performed at the Freedom League's holiday party, and things only increased from there when Bernadette's roommate, Neko, began helping the band with marketing and their internet presence. Almost two weeks ago the band had performed at Freedom City's underage night club, the Midnight Hour, which had allowed many Claremont students to attend (with Bernadette providing free tickets to those interested). But the big topic making its way through the school right now was how late last week and over the weekend, Bernadette and her band (along with Neko) had traveled to Tokyo to perform! It was little surprise that the attractive redhead was very rarely alone on campus, and with her busy schedule of school, practicing and performing with her band, and, according to another rumor, being involved in a supergroup with some recent Claremont graduates, it was even harder. But, one other fairly well-known thing about Bernadette, was that she was often up very early most mornings to go to either the gym or the athletic fields to workout/train, a habit from her time as a lacrosse player before her powers emerged and prevented her from taking part in competitive sports. While she was often joined by some of the school's other "jock" types, there were days where it would just be her (if one did not count her duplicates). Today was one such day. Bernadette and about half a dozen of her duplicates were up on the school’s athletic fields at the north end of campus, running around with lacrosse sticks, passing a ball and shooting on a goal set up in the center of the field. They were all dressed identically, black sweatpants and a light grey hoodie.

The main launch door is currently blocked by Artificer, I will say a secondary recovery door towards the rear of the vessel (the back wall of the hanger) was closed, but is currently opening to be used for launching, so that would need to be blocked.

So to answer questions discussed in Discord: yes, a singularity should show up as a MASSIVE blip in the time/space continuum. If it was in the city, there would be no more city, and likely no more planet, unless someone expended an extensive amount of energy to contain it (which would seem counter productive to wanting to use it as a power source, as you would spend a lot of the energy gained to contain it). And in the realm of pure theory, if someone could harness the power of a singularity and use that to create an isolated timeline, there is no reason to expect they would not be able to do so from outside the isolated timeline (ie the singularity could be someplace completely different).

Okay, per Discord chat, no Secondary Effect or Distracting. Everyone that looks toward the effect has a DC20 Reflex save to possibly look away and avoid. Troopers (in groups of 10): 40 out of 150 manage to look away. DC 20 Will save for those 110: 40 make that, so 70 are Paralyzed. Hounds: all but one make their Reflex checks, that one gets a 18 on its will save, so is Slowed. Hunters; The three aimed at Artificers barrier and the one on Gaiain Knight are not looking toward the effect, so there are four effected: Reflex saves: 2 make their Reflex saves. Will Saves for other two: 10 and 18, one Paralyzed, one Slowed. Boran Lts: All but the one currently dazed are possibly effected. Reflex saves: one makes it, so two Will saves: 13 and 12 both Paralyzed. (my mistake, there are only 3 Boran Lts, so will go with both missing. Timeout Lawrence looked over to his friends as they all started interjecting and asking questions, Daedalus, Captain Thunder and Lady Liberty looking at the teens as well. He was dressed in a black sheathe and asymmetrical, chitinous armor that covered his torso and right shoulder. Partially translucent cables sloshing with a thick silver fluid sprouted form his throat, wrists and the base of his spine like parasitic growths. Pale yellow lines like circuit board patterns traced his pallid flesh, even stretching over the surface of his black eyes. His voice as deep and resonant, but with each word there was an almost imperceptible hesitation, as though he were somehow unused to such vocalizations. Michael could see a resemblance to the young Star Khan he had met only days earlier, although clearly much older and more gaunt. "Long has Kinan Khan waited to see your arrogance cause your home world to fall to ruin," the hologram continued, spreading his hands as if surveying the plums of fire and smoke at his feet, "but I speak to you this day not as conqueror, but as herald for my new- -" the veins in Star Khan's neck stood out like cords and his eyes bulged but more fluid pumped through the tubes in his neck and the expression fade. "My new master. Know that the Communion has returned to claim is place as the dominant and only intelligence in creation. Your homes, your works, your bodies will be but raw materials for the Communion and in this you shall finally know purpose. Rebellion is meaningless. Surrender is unnecessary. You will commune." As Star Khan finished, the assembled space craft began firing down on the city and dozens upon dozens of the needle like craft launched from the hovering starships, streaking down towards the city below.
