  1. GM "I realize that." Visor grunted in response to the Legion near him as he stepped away from the Multi-Girl duplicate that had kicked him in the stomach. "But this Star Khan can apparently fly, so unless we do something to deal with that we might not get far." The villain focused on the armored alien, firing one of his energy beams at the young Star Khan. Kinarr turned towards the attack, raising one gauntleted hand that was struck by the blast, which deflected harmlessly away from him, hitting the ground nearby and blasting a sizable hole in the pavement. He then considered Stormcrow and his request to deal with the woman dressed in orange. "A mentat? Indeed a dangerous foe." He replied with a slight nod. He then quickly flew over to Mindfire to take a swing at her, but the redheaded villainess was able to dodge aside as she turned her focus to Kinarr. "Oh, aren't you a cute one. Wouldn't you rather be friends?" She said seductively as her eyes flared with psychic energy and Kinarr's did as well. The young Star Khan gritted his teeth as he fought against Mindfire's attempt to take control of his mind. "Get…out…of…my….mind!" He managed to snarl as he finally shook off the mental attack. Mindfire took a step back away from Star Khan, a look of frustration on her face, mixed with a bit of concern.
  2. Yeah, unless @RocketLord did you want to use one of Stormcrow's HP to make Legion reroll her attack on Shadowborne (as Shadowborne already did a reroll this round and don't think Luck Control allows an additional reroll)
  3. Okay, while waiting for Heri's IC post, will post the OOC for the next group of bad guys and Star Khan Visor will attack Star Khan, hitting with a 25 But the attack glances off Star Khan’s impervious. He will fly over to attack Mindfire, missing with a 16. Mindfire will try to Mind Control Star Khan, with a 28 on her power check Star Khan gets a 30 on his will save and resists!
  4. He rolls almost as badly as he can and only gets a 33, pinned and helpless!
  5. Yes, make your Grapple check @Heritage
  6. Okay, guess I will have Lawrence try to Time Stop the drone, that is a DC 18 Reflex save.
  7. Tsunami "Some distance away?" Giang asked her eyes seemingly distant as she focused on detecting the various pipes flowing with water throughout the building. "I can do that." The young woman then focused on some of the water mains and fire suppression system lines at the far end of the factory. Seizing control of the water inside, Giang caused it to strain against the valves holding it in check from flowing freely through various spigots and sprinklers. She was able to cause the water pressure to build up to such a degree that the water soon forced its way through the check valves, warping them and then began to erupt freely from the now unblocked openings. In moments, there were several different significant water leaks at various points along the far end of the factory, each on different water lines. "There, have gotten things started. It may take a few moments before anyone realizes what is wrong." She stated, looking to see that Wrack was ready to start moving.
  8. Multi-Girl Bernadette frowned slightly as Dr. Macedon called out after the cat-girl and mentioned that things appeared to have taken a turn for the worse with the Magic Mesa. "Oh bloody hell." She muttered as she summoned one of her duplicates, who popped into existence next to her. Looking over to Baz and Vueriz, the Irish teen stated. "You heard the doctor, let's get goin.' Stay together an' be ready fer anythin'." With that the original Bernadette started forward after Dr. Macedon, while her duplicate moved to be behind the younger teens, gesturing for them to get moving.
  9. Multi-Girl The club remained dark for a few moments after the third song ended, Bernadette smiling slightly at the cheers and yells from the crowd. Then, suddenly more lights illuminated the stage once more, as Summer (who was back holding her guitar), started the first rapid cords of the next song, immediately joined by a rapid, steady beat from the drummer. As the music began, Bernadette had started moving along the front of the stage, bobbing her head to the beat for the initial few moments of the song before she began to sing…. I don’ give a damn ‘bout my reputation Livin’ in the past, it’s a new generation A girl can do what she wants ta do an’ that’s what I’m gonna do As she sang, Bernadette continued to move and dance across the stage, both her movements and singing matching the upbeat rhythm of the song. An’ I don’ give a damn ‘bout my bad reputation Oh no (no, no, no, no), not me (me, me, me, me) An’ I don’ give a damn ‘bout my reputation Never said I wanted ta improve my station An’ I’m only doin’ good when I’m havin’ fun An’ I don’ have ta please no one An’ I don’ give a damn ‘bout my bad reputation Oh no, (no, no, no, no) not me, (me, me, me, me) Oh noooo!, (no, no, no, no), Not meeeee! (me, me, me, me) I don’ give a damn ‘bout my reputation I’ve never been afraid o’ any deviation An’ I don’ really care if you think I’m strange I ain’ gonna change An’ I’m never gonna care ‘bout my bad reputation Oh no, (no, no, no, no) not me, (me, me, me, me) Oh nooooooo!, (no, no, no, no), Not meeeeeeee! (me, me, me, me) Oh! Bernadette stopped singing as Summer and the rest of the band continued to play with an increased tempo as the redhead stretched her arms out to spin around in the center of the stage a few times before stopping to begin singing once more. An’ I don’ give a damn ‘bout my reputation The world’s in trouble, there’s no communication An’ everyone can say what they wanna say It never gets better, anyway So why should I care about a bad reputation, anyway? Oh no, (no, no, no, no) not me, (me, me, me, me) Oh nooooo!, (no, no, no, no), Not meeeee! (me, me, me, me) I don’ give a damn ‘bout my bad reputation You’re livin’ in the past, it’s a new generation An’ I only feel good when I got no pain An’ that’s how I’m gonna stay An’ I don’ give a damn ‘bout my bad reputation Oh no, (no, no, no, no) not me, (me, me, me, me) Oh noooooooo!, (no, no, no, no), Not meeeeeee! (me, me, me, me) Oh noooooooo! (no, no, no, no), Not meeeeeee! (me, me, me, me)
  10. Multi-Girl Bernadette gave a slight chuckle as Vik mentioned what the two of them would likely look like to be able to lift anywhere near as much as they could if they were "normal." Of course, the examples where not exactly what Bernadette would consider normal either. "That’s okay, I'll pass on that." The redhead said with a smirk. She then started helping Vik get 500 pounds onto the bar for the bench press. The Irish teen was quiet as she stepped over to the top of the bench to spot Vik, thinking about what the other girl said about no being a burden and willing to listen. She felt a bit conflicted, on one hand, she still did not know Vik all that well, but…she was a friend and her teammate, and even Charlie had wanted to start with no secrets among the team (other than the ones that were not his to share of course). She also felt a bit guilty about dumping emotion a baggage on Vik, but, how could they really get closer if they kept things from each other. After Vik had done her first set, Bernadette gave her a look, more quiet and a bit…uncertain, than the redhead normally was. "Well, if your shoor you don' mind….late yesterday afternoon, while we were returnin' from Fiji, some o' the other Claremont students an' I ended up in the middle o' somethin' far over our heads. An'…while tryin' ta get through it, I felt one o' me duplicates die." Bernadette felt the cold emptiness inside as she spoke, taking a deep breath to help hold back the tears she felt wanting to form in corners of her eyes.
  11. Multi-Girl Bernadette was quiet as Ryan mentioned not having learned to trust people or making friends. The redhead did not know a lot about his background, and was not the type to pry into things others did not really want to talk about, but there must be something there very different than her own experiences before her powers developed. "Well, if your goin' ta learn ta start trustin' people, this is the place ta do so. You never know when you could be countin' on some in a life or death situation. I mean, you already have had ta do that." When he mentioned his dream of someday being a musician, the Irish teen grinned slightly. "There is more than one way ta reach a goal like that, but sooner or later, in any o’ them, your goin' ta need ta perform fer others, even if it is just those helpin' ya record." "But seriously, Summer was a Senior when I started here, an’ we met in the music program. We stayed in touch after she graduated, so when she wanted ta enter a music competition in Boston over last summer break, she reached out ta me. That was what made us decide ta start our band, an' it has been a wonderful time. A lot o' work, but I wouldn' change a thing."
  12. Multi-Girl Bernadette had her arms tightly (but not too tightly) around Charlie's torso as he guided the Stormchaser down the street. Where it not for the serious reason that had them up in Kingston, the redhead would likely be enjoying it more, not that she needed an excuse to get this too close to Charlie. Instead, she was more focused on his brief summaries of what to possibly expect when they got there. "Well, don' they all sound bloody delightful." She joked with a smirk he could not see. "My options against the twins are likely ta be rather limited." The redhead had heard Vik respond that she was on her way and hoped that more of the team was on the way as well.

  14. Multi-Girl The fight had been slightly blurry chaos around Bernadette as she had tried to clear her head after getting knocked down by one of what seemed to be duplicates of the woman calling herself Legion. Charlie was suddenly there, protecting her and keeping them from being able to continue hitting her while she was down. And then suddenly there was the tall armored figure standing over her stopping one of the Legion’s attacks and then knocking the duplicate out. The redhead looked up at the figure, still a bit shocked and her head ringing still. And then she saw Vik down and surrounded by Legion duplicates, and Pol take a hit from the hulking armored villain. She scowled in anger and heard Charlie telling her to get back into things. "Right." She stated firmly, quickly rolling onto her back and in a fluid motion, kipping back up to her feet. "Thanks fer the save." She said to the young Star Khan with a small smile before glancing over to Charlie and giving him a warmer smile of thanks. The Irish then leapt towards the middle of the street, to a spot more or less at the center of all the villains and her friends. And then there were nearly a dozen redheads, rushing and leaping in every direction towards the gathered villains, while the original moved over to one of the Legion standing over Ghule. Bernadette and her duplicates unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks aimed at the various villains. One duplicate leapt up to deliver a kick to the Legion duplicate next to Shadowborne, but the Legion managed to roll with the hit and came back up seemingly unharmed. The other Legion duplicates did not fare as well. One of the ones over Ghule took a hit and stumbled back a few steps, hurt but otherwise fine. The other two over Ghule were sent flying, slamming hard into the wall of the laser tag warehouse a short distance away, dazed, but not yet out of the fight. The two that Stormcrow had been facing were similarly sent flying, each hitting parked cars and similarly falling to the ground dazed. Another redheaded duplicate delivered a kick to Visor that caused him to stumble slightly as well. However, the punch aimed at Mindfire glanced off a psychic barrier that protected the villainess, similar to how Shadowborne’s attack had been deflected. One of the Irish teen's duplicates put herself between Shift and Big Horn, delivering a powerful right hook that actually caused the large man's head to snap to the side as he stumbled a step before he recovered and looked down at the redhead. He had clearly felt that hit. The Legion duplicate near Shadowborne immediately launched a counterattack, jumping into the air and bringing her staff down to hit the shadowy heroine. Down on the street, the Legion still standing near Ghule focused her attention on Multi-Girl, grinning slightly. "Not bad, but not quite good enough." She said as she quickly swung her staff around. Multi-Girl managed to get her left arm up to protect her head, but she took the impact on her left shoulder, feeling a painful sting. Two more Legion stepped out of the back of the overturned armored transport Mindfire had been in. One of them rushing forward to attack Stormcrow. "So you're the leader huh? They able to function if we take you down?" She asked as she swung her staff at him, but Stormcrow was easily able to deflect the attack. The Legion remaining next to Mindfire and Visor had her staff ready as she glanced over to Visor briefly. "We need to try to get clear." Meanwhile, the four Legion that had been knocked to the ground (after hitting a wall or parked car) all seemed to clear their heads, ready to get back into the fight.
  15. Okay, Tsunami will try to reach out to the water pipes that are furthest from where they are and cause them to push against any valves/spigots to rupture and starting flowing freely. Assuming I need a Water Control power check, she gets a natural 20 for a 36!
  16. @The Sailor Torpedo Lass is up!
  17. Okay, missed Golden Star was planning an attack along the way, will say it was one of the drones that resisted the two dazzles from Baz/Blue Bolt, but it gets a 25 on its toughness save and is fine.
  18. @RocketLord As Poncho mentioned, it will be a group of another dozen of the insect drones. Only two make the DC 23 toughness save.
  19. Okay, going to get the OOC post in (will do my IC/GM posts tomorrow): Multi-Girl will take 10 with Acrobatics to kip up (free instant up) She will then move to where she can get all the bad guys in her 40’ radius selective area attack. 16 on her attack, boo! Spending a HP to reroll: 23, much better! That hits all the bad guys, so DC 27 toughness saves for all: 6 Legion Duplicates (last roll is 1 lower due to the bruise): 28, 26, 22, 24, 19 and 19 (after -): So, one unharmed, one bruised, four bruised and dazed (one of those taking a second bruise) The four dazed suffer 8 knockback (eventually hitting walls/parked cars), so DC 23 toughness saves (last one has an additional -1 due to the 2 bruises): 15, 15, 24, 17 (after -1: So, three take an additional bruise. Mindfire: 27, just makes her save Visor: 23, so takes another bruise Big Horn: 24, he takes a bruise! Legions' turn: Legion facing Shadowborne: 23 (forgot her atk bonus is +10) I believe that is a hit? DC 23 toughness save. @Kaede Kimura Legion near Ghule/Multi-Girl, attacks Multi-Girl: 17 hitting Toughness save: 21, another bruise Two more Legion step out of the overturned transport vehicle, one rushing over to attack Stormcrow, missing with a 20 Waiting to hear from Heri what Shift is doing (clearing daze normally, or spending a HP) @Heritage
  20. @RocketLord While we wait for Lone to post Ghult clearing her daze, Sureshot is going to struggle against the Snare, DC 17 toughness save.
  21. Mindfire gets a 24 on her Sense Motive check, but a 20 still hits. She gets a 29 on her toughness save, so no damage and no recovery check.
  22. GM At one end of the hanger, three of the Hounds that Velocity had previously knocked down managed to climb back to their feet, two looking rather unsteady as they did so. The third, an insectoid, focused on the yellow clad speedster over near Gaian Knight and sent a mental blast at her. Velocity gave a small cry of pain as the mental attack hit her, causing her to take a step to the side, but she remained on her feet and gritted her teeth. "Those telepaths are really getting annoying." At the other end of the hanger, the various Hounds the speedster had knocked down with were recovering from being dazed by the attacks, but otherwise unable to do anything. Similarly, the large Boran near Artificer and Vor’an seemed to clear his head, turning to look at the Justicar with a scowl. Through out the hanger, several of the Mecha climbed back to their feet, a few appearing rather damaged and unable to do much more at the moment. But three were still able to open fire on one of the barriers Artificer had put up, the powerful blasts impacting against the barrier. Throughout the hanger, most of the various Hounds, Hunters and the Boran that Moon-Moth had paralyzed remained so...for the moment. Up by the bridge…. Tal'gar rushed forward towards Traveller, crying out as she swung one of her psychic blades at the Praetorian. The renegade Mentat's attack was just good enough to strike Traveller, the psychic energy coursing through her body…
  23. Okay....long list of bad guys At one end of the hanger, the Hounds Velocity dazed on round 2 get back to their feet. The telepath that was only bruised as well hits her with a mental blast (DC 20 will save). She tanked her first save, so will HP it and auto pass. At the other end of the hanger, the other Hounds clear their daze. The paralyzed Hound will make its Will save (at +1): 16 Still paralyzed. The Boran Lieutenant near Artificer and Vor'an clears his daze. The paralyzed Boran Lt also makes its Will save (at +1): also a 16 and still paralyzed. The Hunters at the end of the hanger that Velocity attacked in round 2 all climb back to their feet. The one that was only bruised and dazed will fire at the barrier Artificer has put up: and manages barely to hit the barricade DC 25 toughness save for ii. The slowed Hunter makes its Will save (at +1): another 16, still paralyzed. It will also fire on the barricade as well: hitting, another DC 25 toughness save The paralyzed Hunter makes its Will save (at +1): 23, so it is free of the paralyze and will add its fire on the barricade: another hit, another DC25 toughness save for the barricade. Three more Hunters clear the dazes that Velocity inflicted at the start of the round. Finally, Tal'gar will close with Traveller and attack: hitting with a 20. A DC 26 Will save @Tiffany Korta @Dr Archeville Artificer's barricade has 3 DC 25 toughness saves to make.
  24. Okay, Rot attacks a dozen of the insect drones: two manage to make their toughness saves. Putting this back up for reference: Round One 38 Velocity (unharmed) 32 Gamma Buzz 2 HP (unharmed) 25 Insect Drones (many (12 around Baz/Blue Bold, 8 dazzled on round 1; 2 near Rot) 24 Timeout 5 HP (unharmed) 21 Blue Bolt 2 HP (unharmed) 21 Rot 4 HP (unharmed) 20 Spaceman 3 HP (unharmed) 20 Golden Star 2 HP (unharmed) 17 Torpedo Lass II 4 HP (unharmed) 15 Drones (many) 13 Needle Fighters (many) 10 Sever 1 HP (unharmed) @RocketLord @Poncho Spaceman and Golden Star are then up.
