  1. "Coffee helps," Ghost offered, holding up his cup, smiling weakly. "Lots and lots of coffee." He took another sip. Still hot, but getting better. He had to keep his cool here. "I dunno, I've quit a bunch of times. Its not an easy thing to do, over and over, but then something happens and I can't help it. I can't not help, y'know." His smile turned into a slight grin. "Gotta do what I can do. How else am I gonna look my kid in the eye, right?"
  2. Casper was suddenly very happy that he was wearing is goggles at the moment when Hologram presented him with the call sheet. Yes. Carrie was going to love this. It didn't even matter that she didn't know that he was Ghost, that would be something for when she got older, but a message like that from Hologram? Yes, she would love it. He would have to keep it safe. Ghosting himself so nothing would affect it, he started slipping into the ground. "Let me know if you need me for anything else." "And thank you."

Hologram had promised they'd edit things out, and it looked like they had stopped filming, and he had handed over the small microphone, so... "Could you make it out to Carrie?" Yes, yes, this should be good. Be the cool dad, bring the bag when he next Carrie, do the experiments together, show him how good he was at this stuff, have a good time. That should work.

  5. GM The woman in the red Ultio Suit stayed back, crossing her arms, while the others rushed in. "Remember the plan!" one of the men in grey shouted. Three Ultios quickly moved in close, surrounding Ultra Girl while two flew up above. The last two and the two fliers struck towards Ultra Girl, forcing her closer to the others. The first three all punched and kicked at her, having no qualms about teaming up against a single enemy.

  7. "Kinda, I guess." He took another sip of coffee. It was so hot, but he really shouldn't let that show, right? Big time Freedom Leaguer here. "Took a look at the zoo, haven't been here for a while." It felt weird just hanging with his feet out under him, he moved them up on himself, so he kind of sat on the air in a tailor position. "So what's the trouble? You look like you've gone a few rounds with Superior."
  8. GM Armstrong looked at the tall girl, his face somewhere between surprise and resignation. "Oh, great. Another stray for the school." He pinced his nose and shook his head, looking at the damage to the area around them. "The name's Armstrong, good to see you're alright, Outrider. Help's already on the way, but you..." he pointed to the students, "need to get out of here. Back to the school, we'll figure things out there, see if there's someone that can help Outrider get home or not." He looked around some more, kicking at a piece of debris from one of the exploded Omegadrones. "You did a good job, kids, but you got lucky. Don't go off fighting Omegadrones for the hell of it, alright? And Landers? Make yourself useful and help Outrider bring her car back to Claremont."
  9. Archer II The entire roof shook when the big guy arrived. Great. Just what they needed. Someone else to complicate matters. Connor fired a couple of arrows at the soldier he had been fighting without looking, a shot with a blunt arrow hitting the soldier in the face and knocking him to the ground, before he turned his focus to the big guy. Moving forward, he made a quick leap to the side to get his attention, drawing a couple of arrows mid-jump.
  10. GM Another burst of shots aimed at Archer went wide, as he leaned to the side to move out of the way. The one shifted a button on his rifle and fired a few shots wildly at Shooting Star, who once again felt a shock raging through her body on contact. And then... a loud yell, as a massive man with cracked grey skin landed on the roof, the entire thing shaking as he stood up. His clothes were ripped, his skin grey and cracking, red underneath, but Shooting Star could recognize him as Billy. "Gonna stomp you first, heroes. Then I'll deal with Alice after that. The boss doesn't like it when you threaten his guys!"

  12. "Eh, guess I'll keep it, then." Casper raised his mask from his mouth and brought the cup to his lips. Would be a shame to let a not-great-but-at-least-alright cup of coffee go to waste. "Oh yeah, that I figured that out. You're kind of a big deal, y'know. Freedom League and everything." He kept the bottom of his mask up. It would be silly to keep pulling it up and down while drinking coffee, wouldn't it? Yeah, it would. This was a big time Freedom Leaguer. He had to at least try to look a bit cool, right? "Don't worry, we haven't met, but I guess I know that exhausted look. I'm Ghost."
  13. "Ah, good, good." He shook her hand quickly, before pulling back. "Yeah, wish I could help there, but, I dunno, just can't remember their names at all?" Publicity? Casper wasn't really sure what he'd do with that. Would probably just lead to some more trouble. "Guess you know how to reach me if there's anything you need to follow up on. I'll be, uh, going then, I guess. But, uh... how about that swag bag and autograph for the kid? She'd really love that."
  14. GM Faster and faster the ship would move, tossing and turning on the turns of the page! The wheel turned easily enough under Eira's grip, but to little effect, the rudder long lost in the sea of tales behind them! Another violent jerk, and the mast, already weakened from Eira's assault, crashed against the weight of a particularly intense tragedy and splintered! A swirling flurry of color and tale and story and adventure and then... bright blue sky! As suddenly as the ship had entered the rainbow vortex, it violently left, as gravity once more took hold. The pirates screamed as the ship fell from the sky, any attempt to right it or even control it failing, the ship failing quickly towards a sandy beach below.

HISTORY Leonard Fitzroy Koenig III is the son and scion of the prestigious Koenig family, a family of lawyers and judges with roots stretching back hundreds of years. Leonard was given a strict but loving upbringing, fully expected to follow in his family's footsteps. Leonard did as was expected of him, and he did well. By the age of 25, he was well on his way to becoming a renowned lawyer in Germany, though his father was somewhat annoyed that Leonard prefered to take cases as the defense, rather the prosecution, and that he seemed rather selective, only wanting to defend clients that he thought were innocent. While his younger sister's choice to become an artist rather than a lawyer strained her relationship with the rest of the family, Leonard stayed close to her, continuing to spend time together, buying many of her paintings to support her. He was doing well enough that money was no object by this point in his life. In 2021, Merlin forced the newest cycle of Camelot to begin. Leonard was the revealed as the newest incarnation of Owain, the Lion Knight, in the middle of a family dinner. His sister was thrilled. His parents and grandfather considerably less so. They did not believe that Leonard was meant to protect the weak. He was meant to guide the law, for innocent and guilty alike, to one day become a judge like his father, grandfather and so many in the family before him. A good, comfortable life, wanting for nothing, with the legacy of their family secure. Leonard refused his parents' world view. He had already believed that his abilities in law were meant to protect the weak. Now he was revealed to posses greater powers still. Wearing the Lion Knight Armor, he joined the Knights of the Round Table, a knight of Cosmic Camelot. PERSONALITY & MOTIVATION Leonard is proud man, immensely secure in himself and in being right. He values rules and laws, but is not above breaking them for the greater good. Often intense and intimidating, Leonard is hard to dismiss in any room he enters, making sure that his voice is heard. He is by no means a subtle man, or one to hide his stance on things for the sake of peace or compromise. Since being recruited as the newest incarnation of Owain, Leonard has made it his mission to lead the Knights of the Round Table in the absence of any incarnation of Arthur. Even if others disagree, he reasons that he is the Lion Knight, and that his abilities grants him a tactical overview that the rest of his group might lack. He has little trust in Mordred the Dragon Knight, believing that she is bound to follow in the path of her past incarnation. While by no means a gentle individual, Leonard prioritizes the defense of innocents above all else. He will easily put down his life to protect anyone. After all, it is the duty of the strong to defend the weak. POWERS & TACTICS Leonard powers are psionic and telekinetic in nature, granted to him when he wears the Lion Knight Armor. Never one to be subtle, Leonard uses his powers at full force, creating grand displays of power while letting eveyone know that he is the one to telekinetically attack entire armies or telepathically enforcing his will on a target. The reason for this strategy is two-fold: Leonard is simply a bombastic individual, proud of his power, and it drives attention to him instead of his allies or innocents, preferably turning him into his enemies' primary target. Using his telepathic abilities allows Leonard a unique perspective on the battlefield, letting him formulate strategies to help him and his allies in combat or locate innocents in need of help. POWER DESCRIPTIONS Owain's powers are psionic in nature. While normally only expressing his power in the form of an enhanced presence and a lack of fear, Leonard is able to access far more formidable power by wearing the Lion Knight Armor. While wearing the armor, Owain posses powerful telepathic and telekinetic abilities, which express themselves with a light blue aura that often takes on leonine or knightly shapes, such as forming a roaring lion aura around Owain while he uses a psionic attack, a lion biting his enemies for a telekinetic strike or a shield or armor when he uses his telekinesis defensively to create a force field. Owain's telekinetic powers are formidable, allowing him to lift and manipulate great weight or even form temporary objcets of pure telekinetic force. Owain uses his telekinesis to fly and instinctively form protective fields to keep himself safe. His telepathic abilities including altering enemies' emotion and reading minds, and though he is loathe to do so, performing mind control. He can communicate telepathically and expand his senses to cover great areas, or even create a shrouded dead zone, where he telepathically blocks all senses of his targets. COMPLICATIONS Honor Before Reason: A knight's honor is beyond reproach. Owain will not go back on his word or lie, attack from behind or do anything of the like. If this is exploited, the GM can award Owain a Hero Point. Lion vs. Dragon: Owain has a deep distrust of the newest incarnation of Mordred. He can't quite explain it, it is more like an instinct than anything else, even if Mordred might be different this time around, and certainly doesn't seem to be King Arthur's child. If this distrust causes issues that complicates a situation, the GM can award Owain a Hero Point. The Lion King: Leonard is a proud man. He is the lion knight, and he takes pride in both who he is and what he can do. If someone exploits his pride, the GM can award Owain a Hero Point. The Strong Protects the Weak: Owain must always protect those weaker than him. He will keep civillians and the innocent safe, even if it leaves him vulnerable to attack. If a GM exploits Owain's desire to protect others to open him up for attack or otherwise makes a situation worse, they can award him a Hero Point.   17. GM Reaching the end of the roof, Freestyle spun around, whirling around to move out of the way of the elbow. She was still grinning behind her helmet, obviously enjoying herself. "Meep, meep." Then, she leapt off the roof. She fell towards the ground below at great speed. Then, about ten feet before hitting the ground, she stretched out her legs, the wheels on her boots connecting with the building and she was off, gliding away at full speed.

  19. Pan stood still, a wide grin on his lips as the elephant charged. Yes, yes, the children were still aboard Danica's shell. The Pirate children. Well, they could make something of them, could they not, if they really wanted? Or find a way to get them back, at least. Flying up after Danica, he did his best to continue calming the giant elephant, while shouting out. "Now would probably be a good idea to send us and the goddess back to the sacred ground, yes?"
