  1. Reflex save: 13, going right to the other end of the scale for that roll. Sportsman is bound and helpless! At least for now!
  2. GM Sportsman laughed, shaking his head. "Don't say I didn't warn you, kid. You didn't have to get caught up in all this, but we don't need more hero types getting involved." He twirled a baseball in his hand, on the top of his fingers, then leaned down and rolled it across the ground, straight towards Multigirl and her duplicates. The ball rolled quickly, right to Multigirl's feet if she didn't move, and then exploded. Hopefully Multigirl could keep the girl safe. "Shut up you %#%ing idiot!" A young woman's voice called out to paper, before a whip struck out from above him, a blade at the end of it nicking at his good shoulder at lightning speed before being pulled back. The young woman, maybe a year or two older than Paper, was dressed in a skin tight dark green costume with black boots and markings, and a green mask that left her mouth and nose free. Long red, almost orange, hair was pulled into a ponytail that fell around behind her.
  3. We'll be skipping Outrider until a time where LS gets back, then well figure things out if necessary! I'll adjust the villains to account for fewer heroes. Sportsman attacks Multigirl by rolling a ball at you, which explodes for a DC20 REF area, followed by DC25/20 TOU roll for @Thevshi Nevermore is moving towards Multigirl, but won't reach her this turn. And Villain 1 attacks Paper: 23 @Spacefurry give me a DC18 Fort save vs. Stun @Thevshi is up next! Current setup: All doors are blocked by some kind of force field near the doors, they can't be even be touched. All signals are blocked. The entire mall is filled with people. Depending on the situation, they might make combat more difficult! Some kind of sickness, poison or virus are spreading by touch among the people in the mall. A group of people are unconscious. Near the entrance: Paper, Shadowborne, Outrider, Nevermore II, Multigirl Duplicate A short distance away from the entrance, around a corner: Nightscale has just been hit by Villain 4, who are now moving through the crowds. Villain 1 has appeared and attack Paper. Multigirl is facing Sportsman near a toy store, standing in defense of a group of unconscious people.   4. GM The Danger Cycle's navigation system made it easy to find the way. It would be a about an hour and a half to drive there, maybe a bit faster if they gunned it. The ride would be rather uneventful. Maybe they got to talk a bit on the way, share a bit more about what they wished to share, but eventually, they would reach their destination. They found a group of tall hills by the Elbe river. Not mountains, by any means. At the top of the tallest hill stood a group of giant stones in a circle, each marked with a rune.
  5. Space Ranger III J'onn activated the helmet on his suit, rather than put on the actual helmet, but otherwise, he was ready by the time Veronica had shown him the ropes. It was different. The bikes back home had bigger wheels, for one, to be more useful on the planet's deserts, but he could get used to that. Still, better to let Veronica take the lead. "So, you got some kind of built in map system, right? Can they link up?"
  6. Different languages. Such a strange concept that not everyone would just understand everyone. Pan looked at the small coin-like device in front of him. He listened, looking at Eira, then to the small device. He picked it up between two fingers and held it up, studying it carefully. <"It is beautiful,"> he admitted, as he held it up and watched the light reflect in it. <"You made it for me? To keep me safe?">

  8. Reflex Save: 13 Well, that can only get better, so let's reroll with a HP: 17 + 10 from reroll for a total of 27, with Evasion 2 kicking in for no TOU roll.
  9. GM "YOOOOU!" Ghost's plan had worked maybe a little bit too well as Scarlet Mist threw herself towards him... only to be completely caught by surprise as he grabbed her and pulled her out of the mist. She tumbled a few steps from her momentum and Ghost's pull, stumbling out right in front of Paper and Nightscale with an obviously surprised, but somehow still murderous, expression plastered all over her face.
  10. GHOST Had to give the kids some credit for effort, but this girl, she was just everywhere all at once, throwing herself around. Even if they could have touched her, they just couldn't reach her. Alright, alright. Casper was gonna do this, then. "Hey! Hey, lady!" he shouted out, as she moved around him, spread out into a thick mist as she was. "I'm the guy that took down your bro, remember? C'mon, I'm right here!" And that pissed her off. As she came wailing for him, Ghost reached out as he moved out of the way, touching her arm gently, then grabbing hold of her and quite litterally dragged her out of the mist and back into a solid form. "NOW!" Those kids better be ready.

Gonna go for another round of using the stunted Nullify, since I have it set up anyway. Nullify Insubstantial 10 (Extras: Effortless, Duration 2 [Sustained]; Flaws: Range [Touch]) {30/31} from Ghost with the Most Array and attack with that. Attack: 20 Hit, due to the feint!   12. Nevermore II "When we got a meeting and don't feel like showing off?" Charlie quipped back at Terrifica's statement about making assumptions, a small smile playing over his lips. Holograms? He might be able to use that idea for something down the line. He approached the the documents with the small smile still on his lips as Terrifica presented them, his eyes darting over the contents, reading them, taking it all in. The pictures, the description. "Sure. I'm a quick reader." So, locked room mystery. Obvious guy was dead, lots of diamonds missing. "Well, can't base things off just what's in the reports. Gotta actually look at the scene first. Maybe it was an inside job, maybe there's a hidden room. Maybe somebody with powers. Locked room doesn't matter much if you can teleport, y'know. Or maybe that heart attack's faked and it's not really the thief that's in the morgue. Can't attack it from just one angle."
  13. Poof, the cats were gone and someone spoke behind him. Casper suppressed the urge to jump up. A kid sneaking up on him, just great. He looked over his shoulder at the kid. Looked young, wearing some kinda kimono. Casper wasn't big on Japan or anything like that, but he'd been on an adventure once or twice. "C'mon, kid, no need to do all that sneaking around stuff. We're all friends here, y'know." He stood up straight. Well, straight-ish, shaking his head slightly. "That hurts, y'know. Been doing this for nearly twenty years, y'know." Casper made sure that he didn't sound entirely serious, no need to upset the kid. "Just your friendly neighborhood Ghost, kid. How about you?"
  14. GM "I got 'em, boss!" A man with a red bandana and a heavy winter coat with fur trim called out, raising his machine gun and starting to fire wildly in the direction of the sound of two voices bickering. Amidst shouts of agreeing, most of the other goons joined in, all shooting into the darkness, far away from Nevermore and the would-be-whisteblower.
  15. Nevermore II The girl couldn't see anything, and she was clearly starting to panic. All that darkness that surrounded them, all the people screaming from Raven's attack, and now she was starting to look tired. Charlie felt it, too. A gnawing feeling, tugging on him, like something was just zapping away all his energy, it was.... It wasn't something that was gonna stop him. Charlie reached out and grab her wrist. "Hey." His voice was low, but loud enough that she could hear him. "Don't worry. We'll make it out of here." He reached into his utility belt, picked out a small ball and dropped it at his feet, then started pulling the girl along with him, through the darkness. "Come on, we got this. This is the Raven. No way they're getting past him." He kind of wanted to mention himself too, but Alek was the headliner here. Once they were far enough away, he activated the metal ball, which started playing songs of a man and a woman bickering.
  16. Charlie drops an auditory illusion at his current position, then takes a move action to move further away with the Whisteblower. Once he's away, he'll activate the illusion to make it sound like he's bickering with the Whisteblower. The goons are tricked and fire at the sound, hitting nothing.   19. A for effort, but we're not quite there yet @Lone_Star. There's some good distance between El, Charlie and Bernie's dupe, will be at least a turn before we can get there without any speed powers. Could I get an edit for that?
  20. GM Despite everything, despite Muirne disappearing and reappearing in the middle of the crowd to strike at the man... he managed to turn and stare at her, before the spear struck his body. He stumbled a few feet back, tumbling into the group of people that surrounded him. Some of them looked faint, like they were about to pass out, while the man angrily tried to free himself from the tangle of people.
  21. That's a hit, but he is in the middle of a crowd, so it's difficult to move and disappear without bumping into anyone, concealed or not. Just something to keep in mind for further round.   22. Can Charlie access the device by the rooftop door with his Datalink within 1000 ft.?
  23. "Maybe. There's no sentries up on the roof, but there's one of those weird devices that was by the door. I'm guessing it's some kind of motion detector or alarm or something. Probably not something we want to trigger." So, then what? The two most obvious paths were blocked, so... he'd have to make a path. Figure out what that thing on the roof was, maybe a way to disable it. "I'll get closer, stay in touch." Raising a gauntlet, he sent a line to the building and quickly swung across, activating his grapple claws as soon as he touched it, then slowly began moving up. Maybe he could connect to the device, try to disable it or something like that.
  24. GM The wolf grabbed it's head and howled to the sky, as it was sent tumbling back. The moment it hit the ground, it seemed to shatter, like glass being smashed by a rock, leaving behind the man that it had been before. For it's part, the second little pig was stunned, paralyzed and dazed. It was just completely impossible for it to move or even think of what it would do, and without even a house of straw to keep it safe.
