  4. Star Squire Power Level: 7 (120/120PP) Unspent Power Points: 0 Trade-Offs: None In Brief: A new Star Knight, whose brash and boastful, but has a lot of potential Catchphrase: A Star Knight is always Vigilant. Theme: Rumble: Zayde Wolf Alternate Identity: Zendaar of the Zultasians Birthplace: Somewhere in Khanate Space Residence: Roving throughout the Galaxy Base of Operations: Mobile, or Citadel Occupation: Intergalactic Peacekeeper Affiliations: The Star Knights Family: His family on his homeworld Description: Age: 26 (DoB: Equivalent Earth Year 1998]) Apparent Age: Roughly the same Gender: Male Ethnicity: Blue Space Elf Height: 6'2 Weight: 185 Pounds Eyes: Black Hair: Silver Zendaar is a lanky looking space alien with blue skin, silver hair, and elf-like ears. He's quite attractive in the way that such creatures often are; exotic and seemingly fragile looking at times. His Star Knight armor is a pearl white color with a ruby gem in the center. His voice is silken but he has quite the foul mouth on him when he gets upset. History: Zendaar of the Zultasians is a braggart, a lout, and a rastabout. He's been thrown out of a bars in thirty systems, he's always evasive about heading back home, and he's prone to putting words out there he may not actually be able to match up with. He would be the last person you would think of as being a Star Knight. But he was picked as one regardless, and now finds himself attempting to fit into a job that he doesn't think he's really suited for- he finds the rules and regulations a bit stifling-, and is trying to do his best. He isn't sure why he was chosen to be a Star Knight, and many of the people around aren't sure either, but Mentor has rarely- if ever- chosen wrong, so people are convinced about Mentor's choices, if not Zendaar himself. Millisand is his Star Knight trainer, and though he respects the ancient gorilla immensely, their personalities can often clash; He is much more hot-headed than the calm, thoughtful Beringi, and has to be reigned in- or rescued- at times. Personality & Motivation: Zendaar is confident, prone to bending the rules, and always looking out for the fastest way to get something done, even if it's not strictly regulatory. He's got a mouth on him that he can usually use to get out of trouble, but when it can't, it's great at helping him get away. Despite all of this, it's wrong to say that Zendaar is a bad person, or even a rebel in some ways. He wants to do good, and he tries very hard to do good, but he's just not someone to whom that comes naturally. Powers & Tactics: Zendaar's great at distracting people with his motor mouth; he's taunting and quick-witted, knocking people off their game with peppered insults and taunts. For his summoned weapons, he favors a dueling saber of light in one hand, and similarly summoned pistol in the other. Though he has no need to summon a pistol of energy to shoot beams, he does it to complete the style that he fights with; a much higher class dueling style then someone would expect from someone who navigates via the location of bars. Power Descriptions: Zendaar's powers are regular Star Knight Powers; with his beams being a bright white with a red tinge. He tries to be mobile in his Star Knight armor, but he still relies on it significantly to protect him since he's still undergoing training. Complications: Always a Troublemaker: Zendaar might have people who know of him be very suspicious of the eternal troublemaker. Hot-Tempered: Zendaar cane be prone to flying off the handle, putting his foot in his mouth, or making a rash decision. Star Knight; Zendaar puts far less effort into being a proper, well meaning Star Knight then Millisand, but he still tries. 5. GM *WOOSH* A yellow blur sped over near Sever, delivering two rapid punches faster than the eye could see. *CRACK* *CRACK* The last two Communion drones that were near the sword wielding teen went down as Velocity skidded to a halt back near Sever having looped back around from attacking. "You okay?" The teenage speedster asked as Johnny Rocket sped off to another part of the park to help Raven and Bowman with a group of drones they were facing.
  6. Okay, that moves us on to: (Going to try to get this to a point to wrap up sooner rather than later) Round Four 38 Velocity (unharmed) 32 Gamma Buzz 4 HP (injured, bruised, dislocated leg, prone) 30 Moon-Moth Drone (unharmed) 25 Insect Drones (many (Many spread out around the park at the heart of City Center) 24 Timeout 5 HP (unharmed) 21 Blue Bolt 3 HP (unharmed) 21 Rot 4 HP (unharmed) 20 Golden Star 3 HP (injured, bruised, fatigued) 20 Spaceman 3 HP (injured, bruised) 17 Paradigm (unharmed) 17 Torpedo Lass II 5 HP (unharmed) 15 Drones (many: spread out in park, none close to any PCs at the moment) 13 Needle Fighters (many) 13 Large Alien Drones (8) 10 Sever 3 HP (injured, bruised) Velocity will move over and take out the last two near Sever. Johnny Rocket speeds off to help fight some elsewhere. That brings up Gamma Buzz @Supercape He is currently being held/carried by Vueriz, who used her board to fly him and her over near Lawrence and Micahel. His leg is still dislocated.
  7. Sever slashed down towards the ground. Instead of hitting the ground, however, his sword met nothing, and cut a hole through reality itself. Sever fell through. He appeared a few feet above one of the nearby drones and, using the momentum of his fall, drove his sword through the chest of one of the drones. He wrenched it free, turned, and slashed at one of the other drones, barely nicking it, and doing no notable damage.
  8. First one goes down. But the second makes its toughness save.
  9. Sever is going to use his teleport to teleport to a nearby drone and attack it; -2 damage, +2 attack, take 10, that's a DC22 toughness save. If that drops the drone, the same to any adjacent drones.
  10. Okay, sorry for the delay. @Dr Archeville Doc, could you give me some rolls (or indicate what the result on any skill master would be on those checks) so I can make some opposed rolls to see how this goes. Thanks!
  11. Velocity In the Hanger Megan had pushed herself back up slightly to see Gaian attacked by a four-armed alien, while Vor’an was hurt by a newly arrived Justicar, who was accompanied by a hulking alien with a massive club. In a almost unseen movement, the speedster kipped back up to her feet and then was gone in a WOOSH of air and a blur of yellow towards the Justicar and hulking alien. *CRACK* One supersonic punch hit the Justicar squarely in the jaw, the blow causing the armored figure’s head to snape to the side as he was knocked off his feet and to the ground. *CRACK* Velocity delivered a another punch to Uqruks' stomach. However the towering alien seemed completely unfazed by the attack, barely even registering that it had hit him. The speedster reappeared out a blur of yellow near Artificer and Vor'an, shaking her right hand slightly from the after effect of punching Uqrucks. "Ow." Down in the Engine Room The alien's long, snake like torso whipped it back into an upright position with seeming ease as it readied its pair of curved long daggers once more. Locking eyes with Patriot as she drew her energy weapon, the alien slithered back toward her, plunging both daggers towards the patriotic heroine…
  12. Okay, Yass'ir will also get back on its "feet" with acrobatics as a free action and attack Patriot, getting a 29 on its attack roll. @Avenger Assembled DC 26 toughness save, unless you want to spend a HP on increasing your dodge bonus (which would be just enough to make it miss). Also, it needs to make its save vs. the Secondary damage effect at the start of Ghost's turn: 32 so fine. @RocketLord Ghost is up!
  13. Yesterday
  14. Okay, nothing happening for the remainer of the round, so will move on to: Round Four 67 Velocity 1 HP (bruised, prone) 29 Yass’ir (unharmed, DC 27 toughness save on round 4 (due to secondary effect), prone) 26 Ghost 3 HP (Unharmed) 21 Hounds (3 telekinetic, 1 telepath all BOUND: one telekinetic bruised, staggered; 1 telekinetic Slowed and bruised 2 (round 2), 1 telekinetic bruised 2 and prone; telepaths bruised 2 and prone) 20 Boran Lieutenants (2 in hanger, both BOUND, 1 staggered, bruised and prone (on Vor’an), 1 staggered, bruised and Paralyzed (round 2)) 20 Hunters (5 in hanger,: Bound: 1 staggered, 1 bruised, 1 bruised 2 and slowed (round 2); one (unharmed), 1 bruised and prone) 18 Tal’gar (unharmed, prone) outside bridge 18 Gaian Knight 2 HP (bruised, prone) 17 Tough Aliens (2 outside bridge, prone) 16 Galvanic 3 HP (Unharmed) 14 Justicar Vor’an (Unharmed) 13 Moon-Moth 3 HP (bruised 2) 13 Mare (not prone) 13 Traveller 0 HP (Unharmed) 13 Uqurks (Unharmed) 12 Justicar Ca’lan (Unharmed) 10 Artificer 1 HP (Unharmed) 7 Patriot II 2 HP (Unharmed) 6 Waymaker (unharmed) 5 Troopers (none currently in the fight) Velocity will use her Acrobatics to Instant Up as a free action (she cannot fail the check), then will speed over towards Uqurks and Justicar Ca'lan and use her area attack to punch them both (full power attack -5/+5), getting a 29 on her attack roll. So DC 30 toughness saves: Uqurks: 36, so he is fine. Justicar Ca'lan: 24, bruised and dazed and knocked to the ground.
  15. Luke glanced at the locked door, perhaps, he reasoned, he could break through it, although it won't be exactly a quiet endeavor to break through and well, it was likely that whoever had set this up was expecting it anyway... He circled back to his friend. "Any luck? I got two possible entry points..." He pointed at the the two spots. "They are expecting us though... but what about... a distraction maybe?" He ruffled the crest on the back of his neck, like he used to with his hair, although it was less satisfying. "Dunno wanna bring out Sue back for a walk?" He chuckled, thinking about the paper tyrannosaur trick. One of his illusion could work as well, but a techie would probably see through them, the were just constructs of the mind after all. "A dragon would have been more stylish I guess..." He teased playfully.
  16. Nightscale I think is gonna keep trying to take down the vampire for now, unless he feels like the monstrosity is threatening some civilians.
  17. Yeah I always assume ff is up in any stress situation (possible exception being suprised)
  18. GM El Gato hissed at the woman that had managed to sneak up on the group, leaping at the Annihilst as she slashed with her claws. The tall dark haired woman was caught slightly off guard by the sudden attack, El Gato’s claws slashing across her side. While they drew blood, they seemed not much more than a minor wound to the masked woman. Meanwhile Kismet leveled her assault rife at one of the Omegadrones in black armor and fired a burst at it. Several of the bullets hit, but they all bounced off the heavily armored foe to no apparent effect. That drone then flew over towards El Gato, stabbing at her with its power pike, but the cat-woman easily ducked under the attack. Another of the black clad Omegadrones flew near Starshine, firing a blast of energy at the teen from its power pike. However the blast missed the target, as Starshine dodged to one side. Meanwhile Bernadette ducked under an attack from another of the black armored Omegadroens, while Owaine similarly dodege and attack aimed at him But a blast of energy from yet another struck Archer in the upper shoulder, knocking the bow wielding hero to the ground as it dazed him. Another blast managed to strike Daniel in the side as well as a black armored Omegadrone flew overhead.
  19. Okay, El Gato will go to attack Martinet, hitting with a 26. That is a DC 23 toughness save: Martinet gets a 22, so picks up a bruise. Kismet will open fire on one of the Elite Omegadrones, hitting with a 24, but the burst of assault rifle fire bounces off its impervious. One of the Elite drones goes after El Gato, missing with a 20 Another goes after Starshine, also missing with a 15 The next goes after Multi-Girl, missing with a 14 Another goes after Copper Knight, missing with a 13 One goes after Archer, hitting with a 24, DC 24 toughness save, Archer gets a 17, picking up a bruise and injured and is dazed. The last goes after Daniel: again hitting with a 24, @Dracostern that is a DC 24 toughness save for Daniel. @Dracostern Then it is Iris' turn!
  20. Okay, none of the drones are able to attack anyone this round, so they keep closing in as more needle ships land and release more. @Thunder King Sever is up! (and still prone from being dazed last round).
  21. GM Daedalus raised one hand and fired an energy blast at the other Communion drone closet to him, Torpedo Lass, Sever, Velocity and Johnny Rocket. The blast struck the drone squarely in the chest and blasted it off its feet, sending it flying backward a short distance. All across the park several more needle ships dove down into the ground, releasing more of the drones. A trio of the drones drew towards the group containing Torpedo Lass and Sever. Meanwhile several groups of drones, including several of the large pairs, started closing in towards Lawrence, Michael, Vueriz and Baz.
  22. Torpedo Lass II "INCOMING!" Torpedo Lass shouted to the others near her. She can't hit both drones racing towards her but she can make it easy for them by having just one drone still up. She threw a phosphorescent sphere, and one of the two went down, but as the other screamed towards her group, she hoped her warning was in time.
  23. It fails its toughness save, so goes down.
  24. Since it's a drone I'll take 10 with a phosphorescent sphere attack on one of the drones while retreating back to the rest of the group around me, warning them of the incoming pair of drones.
  25. Last week
  26. May, 2024 The school year was slowly winding down. In the next month, Claremont would be finished for the year. The seniors would be moving on, and everyone else would be moving up. A new batch of Freshmen would be moving in. The Barking Raven Arcade, in Riverside, was offering discounts on tokens for the last few weeks of the School Year; a strategy to get bored students in and maybe make them think about spending their summer playing on the flashing screens. For students who were burnt out on studying finals or projects, Barking Raven offered a reprieve. The arcade was a fairly large fixture on Dikto street; a broad building with two stories and an open central area once you entered through the doors. It had both games one could play for tickets- and a massive wall of prizes- and competitive arcade and single player games; it had cabinets of shooters, racing games, DDR, and fighting games alongside basketball games, skeeball, and the like. It was a place for everyone, despite the turned down lights, and it offered all you could want for a day where you didn't want to think about school work anymore. Michael had started sending texts beginning in the morning. It had been free to spread to anyone at the school; after all, it was easy for one friend to tell two friends and so on. In that way, it was known within Claremont that there was an excursion planned out to head to Barking Raven and take a break before the very very end of the school year. He had also been clear that if anyone didn't have the spare cash but wanted to go, he would pay for their arcade adventure. Michael himself had arrived not long after ditching his Claremont uniform for a very simple t-shirt and jeans combo that looked almost nothing like Michael Adon, and he was currently blasting zombies on a House of the Dead machine. His constantly around friend Sam had decided to camp on a Street Fighter VI Machine, where she was playing Juri against anyone who decided to try and go a few rounds.
  27. Tsunami The chaotic scene that greeting the trio as they made their way up was a bit of a surprise to Giang, the doors to the factory having been secured and not allowing much of the water to escape. The Asian young woman looked about a moment before stating to her companions, "you should get to a dry spot, I will get those doors open." She stated. Once Madam Raven and Wrack had gotten on top of something, Giang stepped up onto the surface of the water as she refocused her power, seizing control of a large amount of the water near the main factory door. As Giang lifted her hand up, the water rose up into the air like a massive title wave. Then Giang thrust her hands forward and the tons of water under her control surged forward to smash into the barred door like a battering ram. It only took one strike for the door to smash open, releasing the rising waters out into the street beyond.
  28. Per Discord discussion, Tsunami is using her Water Control to have the water smash open the doors like a battering ram DC 20 check to do so quickly: 24 IC post in a few
