  1. Nevermore II Things were moving... in interesting directions. From his hiding place in the tree, Charlie could see the group he had gathered fighting, and struggling a bit, against New Young Freedom. It wasn't ideal. He could think of a dozen strategies, but he had to stick to the plan. Stop Casanova first, before he put the whammy on any of them. Shifting just silently, he reached into his belt and pulled out a snare, then quickly dropped it towards Casanova's feet, before pulling back on it, sending New Young Freedom's leader up, into the air and dangling from the tree. Step 1 complete, at least, but he couldn't help himself. He had to shout. "Switch partners! Keep away from Toxin! Stay at a distance! Shift, go for Stinger and get that whip away from her! O, you're the best shot against Bluebird!" It felt off, he didn't even know if they would do as he asked or not. He really wasn't used to give orders, but... He couldn't help it.
  2. GM Nightscale's blow connected, but Casanova rolled with the blow, evading the worst of it. "What!?," Stinger spat back at Arrow, not able to hear, well, anything.. Taking half a step back, she reached for a pair of high tech nightshades from her utility belt, grinning wickedly as he spun around, then flicked the whip sharply at Arrow, striking her right shoulder, despite the short distance between them. Being hit like this, Olivia would feel something else, small barbs all across the whip, scratching at her skin. The burning sensation on Shift just wouldn't go away, like it was eating into her, through her body. "You just couldn't stay away, could you?" Toxin sounded almost apologetic, but obviously puzzed when she couldn't even hear her own voice. She ran straight at Nightscale anyway, reaching out and placing a hand on his wrist, letting her toxins run into the dragon man, before pulling back abruptly. His stomach suddenly started feeling very uneasy. "LET ME GO DAMMIT!" His temper finally getting the best of him, Chump tore straight out of the adhesive. Seeing Howl advancing on Casanova, he set into a run, quickly planting himself between the two. Bluebird continued to soar ever higher, quickly coming out of reach. A telekinetic blue force slammed into the ground next to Howl, thankfully leaving him unscathed, for now.

Standard Action: Strikes at Arrow with her whip: 26 That's a hit. @Cubismo: Give me a DC16 Fortitude Save vs. Visual Dazzle and a DC21 TOU save vs. Damage. Toxin goes for Nightscale. Move Action: Move into melee with Nightscale. Standard Action: Attack Nightscale: 23. That's a hit. Missing on 11+: 10. Hit confirmed. @Nerdzul: Give me a DC18 Fortitude Save vs. Nauseate. @Heritage: Give me a DC23 TOU Save from Toxin's previous attacks Secondary Effect extra. Chump gets mad. Standard Action: Break the Snare. Move Action: Run at Howl. Nevermore attempts to Snare Casanova. Full Action: Snare on Casanova: 14. That's a miss, I'll use a HP to reroll: 10. Rolled a 2, adding +10 for total 20 and a hit. Casanova's Reflex Save vs being snared vs. DC18: 15, he's entangled, and hanging upside down from the tree, where the Snare is attached. Bluebird tries to grab Howl with her telekinesis: Standard Action: 12, a miss Move Action: Flies higher up, now about 100 feet above ground. Overview: - The teens and the couple have run away - The area is covered by a Darkness Visual Obscure. Unless you can see in the dark or have other accurate senses you can use for fighting, you have a 50% miss chance. - The area is covered by an Auditory Obscure that Howl is only targeting New Young Freedom with. - Arrow and Stinger are in melee. - Nightscale is close to Shift and will interpose any attacks. He is in melee with Toxin. - Chump is running at Howl, moving between him and Casanova. - Nevermore is in the tree above Casanova and has entangled him with a Snare. - Casanova took a hit from Nightscale.   4. "Eira!" Pan's calm was gone in a moment, a rush of green and gold and glittering dust moving by Eira's side, checking to make sure she was fine, before continuing almost instantly towards Knieval. "That was a mistake." As he flew, a flurry of movement in mid-air, he reached into the Pixie Dust that flowed all around him, pulling out a golden short sword, spinning, whirling, twirling through the mid-air towards the villain, dragging the trail of golden dust behind as he swung the sword, only to suddenly change direction, spinning the other way to land his strike.
  5. Move Action: Fly into melee with Knievel, with quick detour to check on Eira. Standard Action: Feint Knievel: 38, which should hopefully get rid of his dodge bonus! Surge to gain another standard action and attack with the Forever Weapon in the form of a sword: 22 That's a DC27 TOU save with Penetrating 5 if it hits, and I'll spend a HP to get rid of fatigue next turn.
  6. Justice "Ah! What the hell!?" The others took the whole ultimate apex predator werewolf thing way better than Justice as it struck at her. Her armor held, barely, but she was still up close, and everything was happening so fast all around her. Sea Devil, Ouroboros, even Salvo, they were used to this kind of thing. Robin was still new to the whole magic thing, still learning everything, but this thing? She crouched out of the way as Sea Devil struck and Salvo tried to burn the thing, but she shouldn't cower. She was here to help, she was here to fight, she... she knew what she had to do. Throwing her right hand up, she placed her left on her belt and the amulet. "Power up! Activate H.E.R.O. mode!" She flicked the a switch on the Justice Driver with her left hand, then quickly swiped her right hand down over the amulet, causing it to start spinning. "HENSHIN!" Quickly throwing her hands out to the side, Justice moved forward, a body sized rainbow portal appearing in front of her. She ran into it, but rather than disappearing, she passed straight through it, her silver armor replaced by red and gold, with pink powerlines running all over the armor. First time she was actually testing this armor in the field, but she needed the boost if she was going to keep up. Justice jumped to the side, spun under the creature and jumped up with a powerful kick aimed at the center of its chest.
  7. Cue the theme music Free Action: Activate Metamorph to morph Justice into her PL 12 H.E.R.O. Mode Armor! M.O.D. System set to DEF+5/TOU-5, for a total Defense +17 and Toughness +7. M.O.V.E. System set to Speed and Quickness. Move Action: Acrobatic Bluff vs. the avatar as a move action, so at -5: 19 Standard Action: Attacking the Avatar with Justice's Drain Toughness: 28 AP: Drain Toughness 12 (Extras: Affects Objects; Feats: Accurate 3, Improved Critical 2, Slow Fade 1 [1 pt./10 rnds,]) {30/30DP} (Descriptors: Armor Breaker Blow, Bludgeoning Damage Type, Powerful Strikes)
  8. Justice With Emerald Spider leading the way, Robin readied the gravity defying pads for her hands and feet and leapt across the street, landing on the side of the building. No alarms or anything so far, but that was probably only a matter of time. They soon reached Emerald Spider's secret entrance, an airduct. From behind her helmet, Robin sent the other heroine a quick look before moving inside, the two slowly moving through it until reaching a closet where they could exit. They didn't have a ton of room, but they were inside, even if they had no idea what waited for them on the other side of the door. "I think we're a couple of floors above White Rabbit. Let's do this."' She opened the door, moving into the hallway.
  9. @Tiffany Korta @Dr Archeville alright, we'll turn this to some new action then. Let's see some initiative rolls and I'll set the scene. Anyone else that want to continue, give me some Initiative rolls too, and tell me if you join Protectron outside the building, Justice and Emerald Spider inside or go for the antenna on the roof!
  10. GM "Get it!" One of the Silver Centurions flew straight above Shift, raining golden blasts down around her. Fortunately, he didn't seem to hit, well, anything, his blasts reaching nothing but pavement, even missing the cars that Shift was moving above. The other two continued to follow Dr. Midas, rolling around in mid-air to send blasts flying back towards Ghost. Both blasts coming in straight at his chest and head, only to pass right through him.
  11. One Silver Centurion was heading for Shift, and attacks with a force blast: 13 That's a miss! The other two attacks Ghost with force blasts: 27 26 Both hit!   16. Little Mermaid II "Ma'am?" Mette asked, raising an eyebrow. Really? She was 19 years old, she was hardly a ma'am! She was about to speak up and protest before she heard the sounds and stopped in her tracks. The old man asked them to leave so he could investigate the struggle, the woman that had called her ma'am did a disappearing act... yeah, alright, welcome to Super Hero City. "How about you step outside and let us handle this, old guy?" she shot back at the older man, before punching her right hand into her left palm, then stepped forward. It was like a wave washing over her, her clothes being replaced with a green, red and white uniform. The upper body was green with scales, the lower white, separated by a red line. Her short hair grew longer, reaching her waist, a green mask appearing over her face. Mette didn't think anyone here had heard about her, but it didn't matter. Stepping into view of the attackers, she punched her hands together loud enough to make an audible noise. "You get one chance to let him go, lady!"
  17. GM The sound of struggle from up ahead were broken every now and again by a woman shouting, commanding an answer from whoever was being attacked. "Where is it? Tell me! Where is it?" As Lulu and any others moved closer, through the labyrinthine shop (which seemed like it might be slightly bigger than one would expect from the outside), she a portly older gentleman on the floor, his tweed jacket slightly ripped. He was clutching his stomach. In front of him stood a woman with short platinum blonde hair, dressed in an expensive business suit and two men in slightly cheaper business suits. One of them reached out for the man. "Ow!" A cat was standing in front of the man, hissing loudly at his attackers. One of the men pulled his hand back, clutching it where the cat had scratched him. "Stupid thing!" He kicked the cat away, then approached the man in tweed on the floor again. "Where is the book?"
  18. GM Shift's dice was rolled, and... they ended up right next to Nightscale! Both were safe! Quirk looked somewhat unamused, looking down at the group. "Boring boring boring. Come now, faster, faster! Don't you want to get out of here?"
  19. Spaceman The lightning smarted. Held him in place. Made it difficult to move. With his eyes focusing on the students and the kids, Spaceman tried his best to do, well, anything, but it would still take a moment to shake off the lightning. Did he even have a moment? What exactly was Quirk's plan here?

  22. GM The second cannonball was smashed, keeping the ground free from any more suddenly appearing pirates, at least for the moment. The coast was not quite clear yet, however, with three pirates surrounding the Forever Boy, while the fourth took aim at Crystal-Gazer. Above, the flying pirate ship rocked unsteadily, while stood unsure on what to do about Angelik. Take her threat seriously, attack her? Thunderbird seemed all but forgotten for the moment, but how long would that last?
  23. Cannonball's TOU save vs. DC25: 20 The cannonball is destroyed! @KnightDisciple is up after Heritage's IC.
  24. Responding to the ooc from the IC: Picking the cannonball up is perception range, no issue there. Throwing it at someone else is a +8 Attack roll for throwing stuff with TK.
