There's some conflict. She's not entirely willing, but not entirely unwilling either.

GM "Last week? What the hell are you talking about?" Matt just stared at Luke, like he couldn't understand what he was saying. "You haven't been around to check up on me since I was put in the hospital in the first place!" He was raising his voice, starting to step away, and then Ashley pulled him along. He struggled at first, but then followed. "Talking to? What the hell are you talking about? What's with you people? First Luke leave me behind, then you're asking if I'm talking to anyone? Pulling me along without even asking! I know you're Jaycee Cahill, but who the hell do you think you are, mask lady?"

They're obviously members of the Takazumi-gumi, a Yakuza clan with ties to the Katanarchists that serve as the hidden rulers of Jadetown. You can't recognize the woman, but the man is Takazumi Ryu, heir apparent to the leadership of the Takazumi-gumi.

Nevermore II One guy bound and knocked for a loop and... Wow, this other guy came running straight at him. No fear at all. That was cool, he could work with that. "I guess you're not the brains here?" Letting himself drop, Charlie caught on to the line to make it swing, spinning around it with one hand while he reached for his staff in the utility belt with the other to disturb him a bit more. Letting go again, Charlie pushed against a wall and swung the unfolding staff at the guy's side.

Fast Acrobatic Bluff to move behind the fast thug and feint him: 25 with Skill Mastery Gonna use Set Up to transfer that Feint (if it succeeds) to Madame Raven. Let's try to hit him with Charlie's staff: 26, and that's a crit. DC28 TOU save for the fast thug.

Nevermore II Figures, he'd go running. Not even try to throw a punch or anything like that. With the guy pulling up a phone and shouting into it, Charlie placed a hand on the side of his cowl. Yeah, alright, he could see the phone here, the network aaaand... there we go, turned off the phone before the guy could get any details out. This meant a time limit, but on the other hand, it could work in their favor... He'd share the idea with the others in a bit. First, the guy he'd been chasing. Cape wrapped around him, Nevermore casually followed the gangster into the alley, keeping his distance for now. "How about you stop running? You're not gonna get away if I don't want you to, buddy."

Free Action: Set Communication Array to Datalink. Standard Action: Use the Computers action Shut Down Active Remote with the Datalink to get range to turn off the phone. I need to beat DC25 for that, and would you look at Charlie's roll of Computers 27 with Skill Mastery? Move Action: Follow the gangster into the alley.

GM Beekeeper yelled something about not even wanting to be there as the massive dragon landed on the ground. He turned and ran, only to turn back around a short distance away, quickly starting to fire his Stinger Gun at Nightscale, hitting him several times in the side with the biting stings. With both Shadowborne and Nevermore engaging him, the Red Death looked between them for a second. The shadow monster seemed to be his more immediate concern. He raised one of his guns, shooting out a stream of dark red smoke towards her. Shadow or not, she had to breathe. Without a word, he moved, leaping into hiding somewhere, using the dark red cloud of smoke for cover.

Alright, Luke is no longer suffocating. DC23 TOU save from Beekeeper on Initiative 19 turn vs. Damage: 20, another Bruise Beekeeper Move Action: Put distance between himself and Nightscale Standard Action: Shoot at Nightscale with his Stinger Gun: 18 @Nerdzul Give me a DC22 TOU save vs Damage. It bypasses your Impervious Toughness with Penetrating 3 Red Death Standard Action: Shoot a pellet at Shadowborne: 32, that's a Crit. It affects you while Insubstantial, since its a gas (and it has that extra). @Kaede Kimura Give me a 23 Fort Save vs. Paralyze. Move Action: Leap from his current position, go into hiding again. GM "Aw, don't be jealous, sidekick. We can play another time if you want," Stinger blew Arrow a kiss. "I know you'd kill for a date with a five." Chump was more open to talking, at least. He looked disapprovingly at Stinger, while he moved to pick up Bluebird and Toxin. They seemed like they were alright, at least, nothing too badly hurt. "C'mon, Mel, knock it off." He sounded more reasonable, at least. "We were just tryin' to be heroes, y'know. Find some bad guys and stop 'em before they hurt people. Cas said those people were bad, and they seemed like they were goin' for the couple, so how's stopping them a bad thing? Cas didn't control anybody, just read their minds to find out what they were gonna do." Stinger just rolled her eyes, but didn't respond to Chump. "Don't bother, Chump. They're not going to listen to you anyway."

Nevermore II Charlie pulled back from Chump. Alright, this had gone well. Or as well as fighting classmates could go, right? At least they only had to knock three of them out... with him stopping two of those. Yeah, alright. That sounded kind of bad. The big issue was of course proving what they had caught Casanova doing... "Look, how about we get out of here before the cops or the Freedom League or someone shows up?" Yeah, like Alek. He wasn't sure how he would react to all this if he found out. "Sorry Chump, but this isn't really a small thing, y'know. Mind controlling people aren't a great way of being a hero... so how about you carry Bluebird and Toxin? Anybody wanna deal with Cas?"

GM The peace and quiet didn't last nearly as long as either Charlie or El would have prefered. There was a terrible sound, crashing, tearing, smashing, and a man in a golden armor quite literally fell through the ceiling and into the food court, where people quickly scattered. He stood up, looked around and shook his head. The entire armor was brilliant gold, but otherwise looked highly advanced. "Hn... What are you all looking at?" Despite being electronically distorted, the voice was obviously male. "I am Doctor Midas, and I have more important things to worry about that you rabble! Run, go away!" As if to punctuate his last statement, he raised his right gauntlet and fired a gold blast towards the roof, causing yet more destruction as parts of it fell down towards the fleeing people.

Nevermore II Charlie couldn't help himself but laugh at El's reaction, leaning forward over the table and almost choking on the piece of pizza in his mouth. "Ha, ah... Sorry, sorry... I'm glad you like it, just... didn't expect that." He was wheezing a bit, trying to get his breath back. "I'm happy you like it. Really." Raising his own cup of pepsi, he bumped it against El's before taking a drink to try and get rid of the last of that scratching feeling in his throat. "Hey, you're welcome. Don't worry about it, I figured you needed to do something besides being locked up all day, right?" He had time. Nowhere to be, so, why not help out? "So, what do you want to do next?"

REBELLION Something was happening below. A group of men, dressed up, leading a girl through the crowds. Pushing their way through anyone in their way. They were not even being subtle about it. Rebellion stopped his thoughts, crouching by the rooftop to get a better look on what was going on instead. His eyes narrowed, as he recognized the man with the sunglasses. Takazumi Ryu. These were Takazumi-gumi. The group that ruled Jadetown. The Chamber allowed them to thrive and rule. A connection, maybe?

GM The feeling in the air was almost electric. Full of emotion, of celebration. And power. The Takazumi-gumi pushed through the crowds. They were all dressed professionally, suits and ties. Ryu, the heir apparent, had his 80's style sunglasses over his eyes as he scanned the crowds for anyone that might get in their way. The young Asian woman by his side walked with her hands crossed in front of her chest, looking down. The group had little patience for the celebration. One man pushed Blackstaff in the back without a word, moving him out of the way. Another barked something at the Dreamer in Japanese, doing his best to scatter her dreams before the larger group came closer.

That's a miss. Give me an IC and I'll follow up.

Little Mermaid II Try to help the others? Alright, Mette could try that, but... nope. They broke out, and they were transformed too, becoming pigs... and one of them fed pieces of itself to the wolf. "Aw c'mon. That's just gross!" Alright, didn't take a genius to figure out that the ice or whatever was turning people into monsters. Klara might have thrown the first punch, but these people clearly didn't have any good intentions. "I got the little piggie." At least there was no issue with moisture in the air at all. Waving her right arm to the side, Mette created a burst of water that hit the first pig, pushing it away from the wolf.

Mette goes for the First Little Pig with a High Pressure Water Burst. GM There wasn't much in the room but what Chimera had first seen. Not even tracks from the wheels on Freestyle's skates were left behind. The outside of the room, right by the door, had a name plaque with a few names: Ellen Harris, Thomas Kent and Hillary Strong. Maybe one of the three could help figure out why Freestyle had been there, and what she had done.

Are you fast taunting both or just Angel? At any rate, they can't beat it, but need to keep track of their cumulative bonuses. That's gonna miss, sorry! Give me an IC.

Ghost Greatest Hits --- Casper felt like he was falling. Deeper and deeper, spinning towards a strong gravitational pull. Try as he might, he could not escape. Something was pulling him on, deeper and deeper into… The extradimensional looking glass was meant to look into other dimensions. It would show the scientists at ASTRO Labs other worlds, letting them study everything and anything about those other worlds. It was almost too good to be true. And it was. Casper stared at the looking glass before him. He had seen this before, just like this, on that day, so many years ago. What was this? Why was he here again? then it malfunctioned again, his body was saturated with a strange energy. It stung, but it passed quickly and then… Ghost was flying through the air, passing through walls and obstacles, anything in his way. The audience cheered, he was a hit, everyone loved him and then… Bullets were flying around him, and Ghost was tearing through the shooters. They might as well not have been there at all, as he passed through them, leaving them stuck in walls or the ground, or writhing on the ground. He finally found the man he had been chasing. Cory Cotton. Casper stared at him, holding him up by his shirt, one hand pulled back ready to end him for good. Cory had hired him for the TV show in the first place. Cory had been the one to trust in him. Cory had been part of the group that had hit ASTRO Labs and killed Doctor Palmer and then… A golden fist passed through Ghost’s face. Dr. Midas. How many times had he fought that guy? Was he the one that did this to him? Casper stared at the golden armor and… wait. He knew this one. This was the first time had had fought Dr. Midas. That janky old golden armor, it looked more like a golden barrel than anything else. Midas had no idea how to handle him back then, just kept throwing punches, didn’t even have any blasters in his armor yet. Just thought he could go in and be unstoppable, nobody could touch him, but Casper had been able to ghost through the armor and get to him inside it and then… Casper stared up at Jessie. He was on one knee, a ring that had cost him months’ worth of savings in a box in his hands, held out to her. She was smiling, her hands in front of her face, tears of happiness streaming down her face. Oh god, Casper had almost forgotten that smile. That wonderful smile, it was almost too much to bear, knowing all that would happen, knowing everything they would experience, everything to come and then… The Wordsmith shouted something about knives, and they appeared. He threw them at Casper, and they managed to cut him, somehow. So that was what this was, then. Going back through fight after fight, reliving the past, every fight, every high point, every low point. Great. Just great. As a the Wordsmith threw some more weapons at Ghost, he spun out of the way, evading them, went in close to take him down and then… Ghost was thrown back by the force of the blow. Half his face felt numb. His white costume was stained red. Casper struggled to his feet, looking up at the guy in front of him. Cameron Christopher Carter had always been a thorn in his side. Whenever Ghost did something good, he’d make sure to rant and rave about him, making him out to be the bad guy. This was one of those bad times, when everyone thought Casper was a bad guy. The guy called himself Ecto. Some kind of ghost hunting bounty hunter or something like that, and he believed that Casper was a bad guy, and a real ghost. It was great, just great. Of course he knew how to touch a ghost, and he was strong. Liked to beat up ghosts with his bare hands. He had Casper cornered inside a burning building. No way out but through him. They were not alone, either. People crying out for help, crying out for Ghost to save them, and here he was, wasting time fighting Ecto, and then… Casper stared at Carrie, holding her for the first time. She was crying, but it didn’t matter. She was calming down already. Nothing else mattered right now. She was here, she was so tiny, so vulnerable, so absolutely perfect. He would never let go, he would never let anyone hurt her. He would always be here for her. Casper smiled softly at the tiny little girl in his arms, and then… The snow was cold on his face. Casper slowly opened his eyes, looking up. How much longer? How much more did he have to relive? How was this happening? Why was this happening? He didn’t want to do it anymore. Pulling himself up, he looked ahead and froze in his tracks. The snow was red. Not just Casper’s own blood, either. It was Freezeburn. Of course it was Freezeburn. He was laughing, freezing his victims in their tracks before breaking them. Casper could see his own breath, as he pushed through the pain and the cold. He had to stop him. With a yell, Ghost threw himself at Freezeburn, and then… "I will eat, devour and consume you. Run in terror, fear and horror. You cannot defeat, slay or conquer me! I am invincible, indestructible, unkillable!" Casper stopped. Ecto, Wordsmith, Freezeburn, and now… Thesaurus Rex. He felt like laughing. Finally someone easy. Thesaurus Rex stood at his full height before Casper, a massive Tyrannosaurus Rex with a tiny top hat and a monocle. Casper never figured out how he got either on. He smiled behind his mask, leapt at Thesaurus Rex, and then… “I’m sorry, Casper. I love you, but I can’t do this anymore. I can’t do this to Carrie, just waiting around for the day when you’re not coming home. You’re always trying to save everyone, except for us.” More than anything else, hearing Jessie’s words was the final straw. Casper screamed at the heavens, and then…
