  1. GM The Great Detectives watched for a moment. The automatic woman headed in one direction, deciding her own path, choosing her own story. One that she pursued with the best intentions. A story that might end happily... or in tragedy. The Forever Boy and his companion were heading in the other direction. West, towards destiny, towards the fabled Wish Isle. Nothing but a streak of light in the distance by now, they two were together, their journey and story bound, for now, as they sought to make a wish that would perhaps change the face of Neverworld again. Darkness was falling. The light was fading. Whatever paths they choose, their time was limited. The summer was almost at an end, and it was time for the fall.
  2. GM Heading West across the endless oceans... Heading towards destiny... The Forever Boy and the Thunderbird flew fast, across the endless oceans of Neverworld. On and on, as far as they could, and then, perhaps, a bit further. They had passed islands, lands and sea, ruin and wonder. And yet they did not stop. They could not stop. They must not stop. They had to fly, forevermore, not to rest, until their goal was in sight.
  3. Forever Boy "EIRA!" Pan took a step towards her, called out and reach towards the sky. He was about to fly. It would be so easy to catch her, but... would it help at all? Not likely. No, her story would not be on the path that Pan had chosen, at least not yet. He did something that Micah had rarely seen. Pan frowned, as he turned to the Great Detectives. "Thank you." Pan slowed at Micah's touch, the frown slowly turning to a grin, as he rose alongside Micah. "Thank you, my friend. To the end of the line, then. And onwards to forever." Then he was off, a trail of gold and glimmer being all the detectives could soon see.
  4. GM Some time between the story of then and now... Heading to Victori... Eira had left her companions behind. Her angelic form soaring across the skies of Neverworld, she had a first row seat to the destruction that the Hooked Man and his Sky-Pirates had caused across the world. Beneath her she saw ruined cities, displaced familes doing their best to survive in what had once been their homes. She saw slain beasts, passing by a capsized turtle the size of an island between New Avalon and Victori. And soon... she saw Victori, and Tham, the great factory city. The factories were still alive. Still producing the endless soldiers needed. Perhaps she would find the Mad Doctor that the Great Detectives had mentioned, or perhaps she would make do on her own. How long had the journey taken? It was difficult to tell. Time was, after all, strange in Neverworld.
  5. Charlie's gonna go full Stealth, doing his little "disappear into shadows" while the others aren't looking trick with Stealth result at 25 with Skill Mastery. He'll be using his Remote Viewing Drones (his ESP power) to scout ahead, too.
  6. GHOST Ow. It was like a knot in Casper's stomach. Like... he was just starting to feel hungry. He could really use a hotdog right about now... Was that the guy he was chasing? Maybe. He'd kept up, at least. And he pulled down and... got him. Both the Born Loser and his bike was pulled into the ground, stuck, struggling to get free, with Ghost appearing in front of him and reaching out to touch his forehead. The moment he made contact, the Born Loser jerked about, then fell to the side, unconscious. "That good enough?" But what was the guy in the skeleton getup going on about? Killing the girl? Yeah, that was not going to happen.
  7. GM With the now wrecked and burning bike crashing before him, Angel stepped off his bike without a word. He walked towards some of the people that had been knocked out by whatever Buddy had done. He picked up a young girl, maybe eight years old. She was out cold, some cold sores starting to appear on her face, as Angel held her up, his hand around her neck. "No more tricks, firestarter. Show yourself, or the girl is dead." "It ain't that easy ta get me! C'mon, ya wanna make all these people starve, eh? C'mon up outta the ground!" The Born Loser was practically cackling to himself as he continued to swerve and turn on his bike, doing his best to stay out of Ghost's touch. Not easy, given he was underground, but he did his best. Cueball growled as he stepped up next to Angel, switching his axe to hold it with both hands.

  9. Nevermore II "Eh, dragons are a dime a dozen, right? Demons are a whole different level, right?" Charlie countered to Luke, while he fiddled a bit with his gauntlet, giving the two lovebirds a second, before quickly turning around when Muirne asked. "Sure." He had researched things before he got in touch with either Luke or Muirne. It was just good practice. Don't go looking for trouble if you don't know what's going to happen. One of Alek's most useful lessons, in the long run. "The gang calls themselves the Cardinal Rats. Kinda new on the scene, always trying to different stuff to try to get an edge. They're not really good at it, but good at running away, so sounds like this might be their first win." Charlie paused briefly, grinning. "So, if Nightscale's done peeking on you, then yeah, I think we should go find his friend and see what he knows."
  10. "Yes, yes, I am sure." Pan's voice was absolutely full of sarcasm as he replied to the Comrade. He crossed his arms and smiled with his mouth closed. A knowing, smile, but if he was offended, he didn't let it show. At any rate, his attention was soon drawn to the space ship, with him briefly muttering "I have been to space," in response to Comrade Frost's statement about space and criminals and malcontents, but again, his attention was drawn away as the space aliens left their spaceship. He was away from Comrade Frost and by Judy, Ashley and Danica's side in a second, clasping his hands together as Ashley and the space alien talked and Judy greeted these space aliens, obviously knowing them, and... He looked between Ashley and Fa'Rua a few times, his smile widening. "Oooooooo!"
  11. Forever Boy "Now's your momentFloating in a blue lagoonBoy, you better do it soonNo time will be betterShe don't say a word, and she won't say a word" With Micah playing, Pan continued his song, leaning in closer to Micah on the, singing softly into the microphone, before turning around and pointing straight at Muirne and Luke mid kiss. A large glowing pink and red heart exploded up around them, making sure that everyone knew while Pan grinned. "Until you kiss the girlHa ha ha!"
  12. "Show them Peter Pan!" Pan helpfully added to Danica as she guided the youngsters back into the shell. Then, he turned to the dear comrade, with an eyebrow raised. "All the stories, you say? And what stories would that be? And who would they be?" He was grinning ear to ear now, while he waved his hand about, looking to the elephant, a long, tall fence appearing along the coast line, hopefully keeping it from having any ideas about continuing further.
  13. I'll be using Charlie's Well-Informed and Online Research to use his Computers skill for him having done research on the area before going there! That's a result of 27 with Skill Mastery. Any other knowledge I can pick up with that?
  14. Nevermore II Another turn, another barely missed red light. Alek would be pissed if he discovered this later on, but honestly? Charlie was good with it. El's arms around him, and her little challenges before, he felt like showing off a bit. "Sure, don't worry. I don't wanna dredge up any bad memories or anything like that." They were almost there now, great. "I was only in the trouble I put myself in." Alright, that might have sounded wrong, but eh, this was something where Charlie had no issue being honest. "The Ravens have always been my heroes. I wanted to be like them. Solve mysteries, stop bad guys, keep people safe." A final turn, and El could see the Millenium Mall before them now, in all its glory. "Turns out I'm pretty good at it." And finally, he came to a stop outside the mall. "And here's the Millenium Mall! What do you think?"

  16. GM While Watson moved away from the display of lightning and power, Holmes watched "Child." Holmes stood up, approaching Eira. He stood high above her. "Victori will fall. It is just a matter of time. The summer will come to an end. But by all means, uplift us. Make us better. Call for the help that this world needs." He looked at Micah. "Yes, yes. It is all very interesting. I suppose that some psychic imprint of our greatest stories would reach your world, hmm? Passing on to the right people? The ones that are just innately attuned to our world? I have long theorized that something like that would be likely." He waved Micah off. "It does not matter. But your power does." Watson interrupted. "No more riddles, Holmes. Time is short. The summer is ending." He focused on Eira. "Victori is your best choice. Go the Tham. Find the Mad Doctor. If anyone can help you, he is the one." "As for you," Holmes continued to look at Micah, "the great beasts still live. The Great White Whale has journeyed beyond worlds before. Perhaps you should seek it out?" Watson had turned from Eira, moving some rubble away. "Holmes. They will be here soon." Holmes rolled his eyes with an annoyed groan. "Yes. I know." He looked straight at Pan. "The Hooked Man found a likely ally in the Professor of Crime. You must all leave before he arrives, or your story will end before its time." He focused on Pan's eyes. "Fly to the West. Fly as far as you can, then a bit further. Beyond the land, beyond the sea, into the dreams and wishes of children. There you will find your Wish Isle." He turned, moving towards Watson, who had uncovered a hidden tunnel under the rubble. "Now, begone. Make your own stories, while I attend to mine."
  17. Forever Boy "Stop." Pan's voice was small, as he looked back at Eira and Micah, and the argument that was starting between them. "I am sorry, Eira, but Micah is right. This is my world. Not yours. Things are different here." He paused briefly, like he was looking for words. "We need the Pixies at the Wish Isle. If there is any way to get back to Earth, then they will know it." Another brief pause, as he looked at Eira and Micah once more. "I will get you home. I promise." Stopping, he looked at Holmes and Watson. "Tell me how to help my friends. Then I will slay the Hooked Man."
  18. GHOST Now this guy? This guy was annoying. He just kept swerving and moving and getting just out of Ghost's reach whenever he touched him. Like... how? And how fast were those bikes going, anyway? He had to actually go fast down here to keep up. The sinking feeling hit, but Ghost pushed forward, through it. Great. Another guy that could affect him. Even under ground. That wasn't something that usually happened. Catching up to the Born Loser he reached up again and pulled... and had the guy swerve again at just the last moment.
  19. GM Angel was silent. He wore black and chains. A hood pulled up near around his head, where he wore what seemed like the top of a skull as a mask. His black clothes had the markings of all the bones of a skeleton underneath it. Leader or not, he stayed silent as he drove straight towards Cueball. They drove fast. Much faster than they should have been able to. Something was up with those bikes. Something that Raina might be able to see. The four riders were obviously magic. She could see that much. The bikes as well. "Ey, boss! Got somebody tryin' t' catch me!" The Born Loser was thin. Way too thin. His lips pulled back in a smile, he started swerving and turning, moving out of the way, doing everything he could to make it difficult on Ghost. He wore a Devil's Advocates jacket on his upper body, his thin arms leaving plenty of space free in the armholes. His long blonde, almost orange, hair was slicked back, held in place by a red bandana. "C'mon, now! Gotta do better than that!" Then, Raina, Ghost and Merlin would all feel it. A sinking feeling, something gnawing at them. Like something was trying to starve them. Cueball smashed into some cars, toppling them with his axe. Luckily not the one that Merlin and Sparkler were hiding behind. "Boss! There's some witch girl and a guy that walks through walls! They took down Buddy!" One rider was down. Three riders remained.
  20. Angel Move Action: Keeps driving towards Cueball. The Born Loser Move Action: Keeps driving towards Cueball. Standard Action: Activates an area effect that hits everyone. 21. Little Mermaid II Mette was completely fine with admitting that she yelped when the ice broke and the man had been replaced with a giant wolf-man. This was... this was so weird. Like that werewolf thing back in October, but, y'know, different. This guy was big, towering above them, howling to the sky. Her first instinct was to pounce. Hit the guy, send him flying, but... was he going to attack them? He might still be nice, right? She looked at him, saw the look in his lupine eyes, the hunger, the hate and... Nope. This guy was going to eat them if he could. "What do we do?" she asked Dee. She had to know, right? She was the leader here.
  22. Little Mermaid: 24 Big Bad Wolf: 20 Three Little Pigs: 12 Current setup: Muirne is a bit away from the others, with the panicking man. There are three people covered in black ice that is cracking, Klara is close to one of them. Mette and Dee are right next to the Big Bad Wolf. Little Mermaid Standard Action: Use Sense Motive to assess the situation. Skill Mastery for result of 25 beats DC20. Yes, something is very wrong here. @Tiffany Korta is up 24 - Little Mermaid II - 5HP - Unharmed 20 - Zhenschina-voin - 2HP - Unharmed 20 - Big Bad Wolf - Unharmed 17 - Synapse - 3HP - Unharmed 12 - Three Little Pigs - Unharmed 9 - Shadowborne - 3HP - Unharmed
  23. Archer II Shooting Star pulled the big guy out of the way. Good. If she wanted to dance with him, she could. With the path free ahead, Connor ducked under the two brawling powerhouses, slipping into the staircase and saw the last of the attackers running below. Connor considered something painful for a moment, but it would be useful if they guy could answer some questions. Picking a particular arrow, he let it fly. It hit perfectly, right in the man's chest, exploding around him in a massive amount of quickly hardening riot foam. Alright, then. The big guy was next.
