  1. GM Angel froze completely when Ghost's hand passed through him, then fell on his back with a loud *THUD*. "Stop setting me on fire you ¤%&#!" Cueball was burning. Again. And still standing, despite it all. He slapped his arms, trying to put out the fire while he continued to curse up a storm. His axe came flying back towards him, hitting the ground and getting stuck.
  2. Cueball clears his daze, doesn't catch his axe that embeds in the ground. Ghost Will save to overcome Slowed: 16, nope. Free Action: Switch Ghost With the Most Array to Stun. 3. "Yeah." Business cards were old fashioned? "Old stuff..." Ghost shook his head and muttered "but I like business cards..." to himself, before pocketing it with a sigh. He thought it over a bit. That sounded like a lot of work, to be honest. And a lot of luck. Not something he usually got a whole lot of. He almost wanted to ask, but... nah. It'd just make things weird. "Eh, I dunno. Sometimes its like I'm just the same dumb kid that made a mistake and wanted to make sure I didn't make another, just doing my best." Ghost groaned slightly, scratching his neck with a free hand. "Other times, I dunno... Seems like everything's going faster and stronger all the time, y'know? Like everything's just going a bit more all the time, and I just gotta adapt with it. Doing my best, at least." He let out a laugh. "But, c'mon, I'm just a friendly neighborhood Ghost. You're on the freaking Freedom League. Talk about a million miles from where you started."
  4. Feinted. Full +5 bonus from autofire for DC30 TOU save: 25, fail by 5, another bruise and dazed. Its kind of amazing the abuse this guy has taken so far. Give me an IC and I'll follow up. 26 - Cueball - Bruise (x4), Dazed 21 - Devil's Advocates - 10x Bound and Helpless 19 - Buddy - Unconscious 19 - Ghost - 0HP - Unharmed, Slowed (-1ATK/DEF/REF, DC20 Will to overcome on Init 10) 12 - Sparkler - 0HP - Bruise (x1) 10 - Angel - Unconscious 7 - The Born Loser - Unconscious, Bound and Helpless
  5. Nevermore II "Or maybe we're just that good," Charlie added with a grin, while he got out a snareline and threw it towards the fast thug, watching it quickly expand around him. Leaning over his staff, shortened to a more comfortable length for doing just that, he looked down at the pair of thugs. "So, where'd your friend go? We'll find her either way, might as well make it easier on yourselves, right?"
  6. Charlie will throw a snare at the Fast Thug anyway, to wrap him up.
  7. GM The stairs were free so far, but Chimera could hear clear commotion coming from below. Someone was talking loudly, coordinating some people while keeping others back. She would not have long to move down the stairs before people came running. She would have to be quick, but she made it in time, leaving vacant restroom in time to see students cautiously moving up the stairs that she had just moved down.
  8. GM The Big Bad Wolf shook its head, and with a quick woof sound, it moved to the side, out of Zhenshchina-voin's reach, now positioned with her in front of Synapse. The wolf inhaled might amounts of wind, enough that Klara could almost feel herself being pulled in, and then... It huffed, and it puffed, and it blew the heroes down! Both Synapse and Zhenschina-voin would feel the mighty winds pushing and tearing at them.
  9. The Big Bad Wolf inhales wind and then creates a cone area effect that hits Zhenschina-voin and Synapse! @Tiffany Korta and @Thevshi: Give me a DC20 Reflex Save vs. Area followed by a DC25/20 TOU save vs. Damage! And @Thevshi is up! 24 - Little Mermaid II - 5HP - Unharmed 20 - Zhenschina-voin - 2HP - Bruise (x1) 20 - Big Bad Wolf - Unharmed 17 - Synapse - 3HP - Bruise (x1) 12 - Three Little Pigs -- First Little Pig - Bruise (x1), Dazed -- Second Little Pig - Unharmed -- Third Little Pig - Bruise (x1), Dazed 9 - Shadowborne - 3HP - Unharmed
  10. GM Chump was silent for a second. "What? No. That's... that's not what Cas did. He wouldn't do anything like that... right?" He was starting to sound more and more unsure by the moment. "Enough already. We get it. You won, we lost, we're the bad guys, yadda yadda." Melanie was obviously tired of all this. "Just leave Chump alone and let's go."
  11. GHOST The chaotic blue and white light still zigzagging all around Ghost, he smiled behind his mask at the girl. She couldn't see it, of course. Or his eyes. Or... just about anything but his white and grey costume. "Hey, don't worry sweetie, you're alright now." He looked over the girl's shoulders and was suddenly happy she couldn't see his eyes. "Go find your mom dad. Don't worry, I'll make sure he won't hurt you again." Then he was gone, chaotic white and light blue energy bouncing around the area, before rematerializing into Ghost in front of Angel, crouching underneath him. "Nope. You're not getting away from hurting kids, Boneface." Ghost moved up, stretching his right arm and ghosted his hand through Angel's face.
  12. GM "Gra... Kill..." Angel struggled to move, to grab the child that Ghost had pulled away from him. He was obviously in pain from whatever Ghost had done to him, struggling to move, struggling to attack someone, to do something, anything. "WOULD YOU SHUT UP!?" Cueball was obviously more than a little pissed off. He might be hurt, but he wasn't about to let that stop him from throwing his glowing axe towards the flying super hero in front of him and... throwing it way off course, sending the axe spiralling out of control in a wide arc before flying back towards his hand once more.
  13. Angel Recovers from Daze. Cueball Throws his axe at Sparkler. Standard Action: Attacks Sparkler with the axe: 8, that's a miss. The axe flies in an arc and will return to Cueball at the start of his turn. Ghost Will save to overcome Slowed: 18, nope. Free Action: Let go of the kid, now safely away from Angel. Move Action: Teleport back into melee with Angel. Free Action: Switch Friendly Neighborhood Ghost array to Insubstantial. Free Acton: Switch Ghost With the Most Array to Damage. Standard Action: Attack Angel: 22, that's a hit. DC25 TOU save for Angel: 22, he's down! You're up! 26 - Cueball - Bruise (x3), Demoralized (-2ATK/Checks, 1 turn, Taunted 3 times) 21 - Devil's Advocates - 10x Bound and Helpless 19 - Buddy - Unconscious 19 - Ghost - 0HP - Unharmed, Slowed (-1ATK/DEF/REF, DC20 Will to overcome on Init 10) 12 - Sparkler - 1HP - Bruise (x1) 10 - Angel - Unconscious 7 - The Born Loser - Unconscious, Bound and Helpless
  14. GM The Wish Isle! The shining jewel of the sea! An oasis of green and gold in the middle of the never-ending blue! But even here, far away, the youths could see the smoke that rose from the island. Dark, almost black, stretching towards the sky. Something was wrong. The safe haven, the port in the storm, the home of the Fae, the home of the Forever Boy... was burning.
  15. Forever Boy Pan was silent for a moment. He seemed to think through it. "Perhaps." He paused briefly. "Stories are important here. Maybe they can be changed, for the better." There was something. As they pushed on, there was something there, on the horizon. A speck, a shining speck in the distance, rapidly coming closer. Pan gasped. "The Wish Isle!"
  16. GM There was an almost audible pause from the speaker. Eira had the distinct impression that whoever had talked to her were discussing what to do in an almost frantic and panicked manner. "Five-fold, you say?" It was another voice. Horribly distorted as it might be, it sounded older, more learned. There was a noise of some physical alteration from the speaker. "One automaton." The first voice returned. One of the armed automatons slowly approached Eira. It was a thing of clockwork and lightning. Crude at first look, but far more intricate and elegant once she looked past its exterior. The way its gears moved, the way lightning danced around them... It was a science, that was for sure, but not anything that would work from the science of Eira's world.
  17. Forever Boy "Muirne!" Pan happily exclaimed, rushing to her in a burst of golden dust, before he quickly tossed her the microphone. The pink heart around Muirne and Luke slowly faded. "Have fun!" Then he was gone, nothing but a laugh left behind, reaching Eira, quickly pecking her on the cheek. "So? Everything you expected and more?"
  18. Using a Thermite Arrow with the Triggered Arrows add-on, placing it in the middle of the crowd using the Subtle 2 and Ricochet from the Triggered Arrows add-on. The trigger is set to remote control. Blast 6 (Feats: Improved Range 2; Extras: Area [General Burst]; Flaws: Action [Full Round]) {14/14DP} (Descriptors: Thermite Arrow, Ballistic Damage Type, Explosive, Thermite) Triggered Arrows 6 Adds (Feats: Triggered 2, Ricochet 2, Subtle 2) to Arrows array {6/6DP} (Descriptors: Setup Add-Ons, Timer, Proximity sensor, Remote trigger)
  19. Archer II "Damn." Connor didn't have any issue getting into big fights. It was kind of his thing, but this? D-listers or not, that was a lot of super powered people in one place. He had some arrows that could help, but this was still a lot of bad guys all in one place. He didn't like it. "Any of you spot the leader?" Cut off the head of the snake, right? Break this thing up before it became a thing in the first place. "How fast can you get out of there?" Connor reached for an arrow in his quiver. Thermite, a remote trigger, some camouflage... That should do it. Look for the right spot, then he fired the arrow behind the group. It ricocheted off the ground, sliding in under the group.
  20. GM "Justice..." Jonathan mused. He looked down at the Preacher and spat on him. "He doesn't deserve your justice. But fine." Jonathan crossed his arms. "I will stand guard, then. Bring the police and anyone else you think need to see this, and I'll submit myself to their justice and pay what I need to in order to make this right."
  21. Ghost shrugged. "Guess it makes sense in some kinda weird, twisted way. Its weird how villains tend to fixate like that." He paused and winced. "Someone named Banshee was running after me for a while like that. Been a while since I've seen her, now that I think about it." He looked at the card in his hand, playing with it a bit and turning it around. The big Freedom League logo, Fleur's info, and his eyes going back to that logo. "Man, you even get fancy business cards from the league." Ghost laughed lightly, holding it up and pulling his goggles up to get a look at it. "Fancy." He seemed to think for a short moment, like he was struggling with himself. "So, what'd it take to get into the League, anyway? You started out pretty grassroots, and look at you now, running with the League."
  22. GM "Aw, c'mon, you don't need to bring me... Just, leave me tied up somewhere or something? C'mon, its fine!" Billy sounded like he wanted to be anywhere but there right now. Somehow being taken away would be better than going to see the soldier. The soldier flinched as the first arrow hit, but he kept silent. Then he saw Shooting Star and Billy, and the other arrow hit, just that much closer. "... Alright... We're just hired help, never saw the guy, but we got our marching orders from a warehouse in Southside, by Kissinger. No idea why they cared that much about some punk dealer..."
  23. Archer II Connor moved with slow, deliberate steps into the staircase. He had his bow by his side, slowly pulling out an arrow with a sharp head and stopping in front of the soldier, at abouve fifteen feet away. He raised his bow, nocked the arrow and let it fly. It dug into the wall right next to the soldier's head. Then he reached for another. "Who do you work for? Why do you even care about some stupid dealer?" He nocked the next arrow and took aim. He let it fly, hitting to the other side of the soldier's head. "Don't make me repeat myself."
  24. Nevermore II: 10 Dr. Midas: 15 15 - Outrider - 3HP - Unharmed 15 - Dr. Midas - Unharmed 10 - Nevermore II - 3HP - Unharmed @Lone_Star you're up!
