  1. It was after said part had been cut away. And really, it's a giant cauliflower monster. I can't not eat it and piss off Miss N.
  2. Can Trailblazer cut away a part of cauliflower monster and eat it? XD
  3. 'blazer teleports behind the monster and tries to strike at it with her magic sword. 1d20+9=19
  4. Emily glared in disgust at the pirates standing down as she listened to Memorial's translation. "I'm glad to see these guys' leaders have more sense than they do. They can see when they can't win a fight... And would happily turn tails and run as the rats they are. They'd deserve we brought the Aphelion to safety and left them to see for themselves what the Communion is about." She smiled at Memorial. "Don't worry, I'm not going to do it. I'm being nice... This time. But are we really leaving them just like this?" "So, same drill as before? We blast our way into one of the large ships and board it? And what's this Communion like, by the way? Corona has been quite sparing in information and... I didn't feel really comfortable to ask you with how they destroyed your home and everything."
  5. Mechanized again punches one of the tough pirates. 1d20+7=8 Permission to swear
  6. Emily was starting to feel a little overwhelmed. There were really a lot of pirates, and even if their fire had so far proved ineffective, they were bound to damage her suit sooner or later due to sheer luck. It wasn't a chance she liked taking. Two pirates armed with melee weapons had rushed in to engage her, and they looked more important than the rest. Maybe if she took them down, the foot soldiers would scatter. She tried to hit one of the two with a punch, but another burst of pirate fire forced her to dodge, causing her punch to miss the target. "There's a real lot of them, Memorial. Any idea?"
  7. Mechanized strikes at one of the pirates engaging her in melee with her fist. 1d20+7=11 I'm afraid that's a miss...
  8. Diane had been taking a stroll in the town. It might not have been the best of ideas considering her new looks and the fact Cyberskull was still looking for her, but she just couldn't bear spending more time in the AEGIS HQ, so she had thrown a long coat on herself, put on heavy makeup to conceal her circuitry and had gone out. The fire called to her curiosity like a moth to the flame. When she saw what was going on, she decided it was time for her to step in; she raised in the air and closed in to the police line. "Hello. My name is Nano Angel, what's going on? It looks like you could use a hand."
  9. Emily rolled her eyes as the rain of fire harmlessly bouced back on her armor. People like them never, ever knew when to quit. "You've been warned twice now. And in a language you can understand, I think. You asked for this." She brought her force cannon to bear on the closest pirate and shot. Energy beamed through the room for a moment, slamming the guy backwards and sending him to hit the wall behind them. "Was that loud enough, you jackals? Who's next?"
  10. I forgot to factor in the -2 for being in a space suit. The roll is a 23, does it still hit?
  11. Mechanized shoots at the closest pirate with her force cannon. 1d20+10=25
  12. It should be my turn again, right? Sorry for missing the previous IC post, I've been a bit overwhelmed by RL. I'd flame the pirates, but I'm afraid that would be a bit too... lethal.
  13. Mechanized uses her Super-Strength to make a Groundstrike attack. 1d20+11=12 Natural 1.
  14. Mechanized stormed inside as soon as the airlock's inner door opened, ready to fight. The place was a chaos of screams, yells and gunfire; what appeared to be the crew was trying to retreat going left, while the boarders chased them down like hounds on the hunt. It wasn't hard to tell one group from the other: pirates were the ones doing the killing. She strode purposefully in the middle of the fight, trying to cut the path of the attackers while trying to look as dangerous as possible, and her force cannon shot in the air at low power. "Everyone, drop your weapons! Or I swear I'm going to knock some sense in those empty heads of yours. With armored fists!" The chances the pirates understood her were slim, even if the message was clear. Not that she expected them to really stand down like this. Why do they never stand down? Apparently, they understood the general meaning of her message, and a brutish thug snorted before aiming his gun at her. Well, she couldn't say she didn't try...
  15. Sorry. I couldn't reply today. Mechanized is going to shoot a warning shot with her force cannon, then order the pirates to stand down. In English of course, but the warning shot should be pretty universal. Intimidate check? 1d20+0=11 I expect this to be completely useless, but she had to do that before starting firing at random people.
  16. Mechanized was completely surprised by the sudden appearance of the tentacled thing, luckily it had targeted Corona first or she wouldn't have been able to defend from it! "What the... What's this thing?" she exclaimed. Then she shook herself out of her surprise, pointed her right arm at the thing, and took aim with her force cannon. A white-hot beam of energy hit the thing squarely, but even if it creaked under the impact its armor held. It didn't matter, and she held her aim to fire again.
  17. Mechanized shoots her force cannon at the thing. 1d20+10=24
  18. Exactly, where are the Aphelion crew and boarders in the initiative ladder?
  19. If Angie's fairy-form skin could blush, she probably would have done so too. "Well... thank you. But I can be dangerous too!" she giggled. Good work, Angie. She's flirting, ad you're flirting back. What would Mike say? she thought, he'd want to see your superhero cape, was the disappointing answer. Angie sighed. "If Mom's right - and I used to think she's completely insane, mind you - not all of the Fair Folks are as connected to humans as my father and... well, I... are. Many of them think in a very different way from humans and all of them are very unpredictable. But we won't be staying here long anyway, and I can gate us back any time. Also, Oliver is out there scouting for danger. Father gave him the task to protect me, and he takes it surprisingly seriously for a Fae. In short, we should be safe."
  20. Saturday, November 15th 2014 Two figures slipped into existance in the quiet woods, as if they appeared out of thin air. But nothing in this place was as it looked, as this was the mysterious, ever-shifting realm of the Fey. Truth told, a keen eye would spot the faint shimmering air that signalled the portal the girls had walked through. Again, the same observer would notice that one of the figures brought only a general resemblance to a woman. While the general shape was right, human girls didn't have the large, luminous eyes and the unnatural grace this woman possessed. Nor the strangely resonant voice she spoke with, as soon as the portal closed behind them. "And this is it, the Fey realm," Angie said, staring around. Even if she'd been here many times before, each of them had felt subtly different; bizarre and strangely familiar at the same time. "As much as I've been told, it's a sort of limbo that exists close to our reality, and yet a little out of synch with it. I can travel through here to any other place in the material plane, and open a portal back through a door or archway on the other side." A ginger cat - or at least, that's what it looked like - strut along with grace, slightly preceding Angeline. "I wil take a look around and check for any danger, milady." the cat said. It spoke with a voice that could only be described as... well... sly and cunning, and it looked extremely pleased to be able to roam the place freely. "Thank you, Oliver. But don't get too far away," Angie told her feline bodyguard, as Oliver sprinted ahead into the undergrowth. "So, what do you think of it? Isn't it beautiful?" asked Angie, twirling around and looking at her companion, her roommate Haukea.
