  1. ...rescue the President!?! 3-5 players, preferably those with existing patriotic themes. Hyperactive is already in it - if that's okay with you, Kolo!
  2. So obviously I'm up to posting again. And as some of y'all no doubt know this past year and a half life has loved sneaking up on me and taking my attention away from posting. But, I earnestly enjoy it. So, let's get to over indulging. Now, I've had a concept sitting in the back of my head. Gizmo may have the Brave and Bold/Marvel Team Up sthicks down to a science, but I want to run with and Elseworld's/What If series. The Else Ifs and What Ifs Subforum is woefully underutilized. That's right folks pitch me a solo or two character team up thread (bonus points if it involves one of my characters) that takes place on a parallel Earth! Indulge your Inner Superman Red Son. Take a visit to Earth: Paragons. Or even turn back the clock New Frontier style to a Freedomverse just entering the Golden Age with what would otherwise be modern heroes. Worlds of Freedom issue #1 is waiting to hit the presses! Now don't go tripping all over yourselves to play a thread in which you likely have to build a whole new version of your character. Potentially worth half post value at that. But, really I think this could be fun and bring life to the Else Ifs and What Else worlds!
  3. Sandman XI

    They Live

Suggested by Raveled, can't take any of the credit, but I'm gonna throw my twists in there. The dead are coming back to life. Not as zombies or undead, but fully to life. Those with Life Sense see that they're alive, yes, but are going through the motions of life. Basically responding to human interactions and doing nothing else when left alone. This is not just for characters with Life Sense, but maybe for people who has someone recently dead. Whether friend or foe. This'll probably bring up some tough questions! So, anyone interested?

  5. Demonic rats and wererats and their demonic wererat king have somehow got a foothold in this realm. Why? They know. We don't. But this is taking place at Morley's. And Moira will not have rats of any kind invading, much less her own pub. @EviscerusNox and @Heritage have spots if they wish. Anyone else interested?
  6. I'm looking for a couple of Emerald City PCs in the 8-10 range to help Blue Jay deal with a new crime wave in Emerald City. Magic will be involved. Any takers?
  7. Player's Name: Sandman XI Character Name: Vitalus Power Level: 14 (213/215) Tradeoffs: Undercapped, PL12 (0 Attack, 0 Save, +1 Toughness, -1 Defense) Unspent Power Points: 2 In Brief: A former hero looking to get back into being a hero. Residence: Riverside Base of Operation: None Catchphrase: "." Alternate Identity: Wesley Octavius Knight (birth name) Identity: Secret (mostly) Birthplace: Tunnel Hill, Alabama Occupation: body artist, business owner Affiliations: None Family: None, all passed or in the past. Age: 27 (born 13 December, 1989) Apparent Age: early twenties Gender: Male Ethnicity: African-American Height: 6 foot 6 inches (1.98 meters) Weight: 240 pounds (109kg) Eyes: green (due to mutation), brown (originally) Hair: black Wesley is a well-build man, with very defined muscle. A fighter's build. Swole arms, legs, and torso. His arms, chest, back and neck are covered with years with of inked art. Each one of them a personal memory (even if a few of those memories are 'this looks awesome'). His eyes are a vibrant green and have been so ever since his powers erupted forth. he loves his thick long dreadlocks and considers them a source of pride that he keeps them up so well. you can hear the southern inflect in his voice, even though he's been in Freedom for nearly a decade.Even though he's big, he does not walk like a big man. Almost always in thought about something and someone. When he's not doing that he like to sit or lean on walls. Never a straight stand. His clothing is urban wear baggy cargos, sandals, and an a-shirt when in public or when it's proper. He does love to show off his ink. His 'costume' is barely different. he throws on a brown hoodie on and ditches the sandals for work boots. Power Descriptions: Wesley's power set changes so much that even he thinks it's silly. The only thing constant is the glow. He glows dark green, gold, or purple when he uses his powers. All the ranged powers shoot of as shots of energy. If someone is under his powers effects they might even glow themselves. Not as bright as him, but definitely noticeable until it's done. History: Here for pre-Freedom City days When he got to his destination, it wasn't a cake walk. While he did have the job, it wasn't as good at it was made out to be. Sure everything was nice and the owner was a nice guy, but Wesley didn't get much being the new guy. So he poked around for side jobs where he could. There was a whole community around here! Riverside was great. Though his first big paycheck came from someone off the books. A woman who needed an intricate back piece done. She somehow new about his powers and knew he could stay up day and night if need be. Little did he know he was getting into Triad business. The woman, who only wanted to be known as 'Jade' taught him Mandarin as he worked. It was for his own good. By the time he was done (seven days? ten?) a whole boatload of gangsters came flooding in. This was the real deal, he had to protect himself and not hurt anyone. Jade was resting, but watching the whole thing. Of course, the was easy, a meta with biological powers versus normal guys (there were a bunch of them though, with hatchets!) Of course he survived and no one died. 'Jade' said that others who needed to know. She thanked him for being her 'Knight'. And that's how he got his first her name. Even though it was his last name. After that was one of the most disgusting things ever. A bunch of heroes gathered to fights some alien poo? He never found out what it was, but he and another (a machine kid) were the last ones to face down that piece of filth. That lead to more connections. The adventures start to blur after that. Only his time on the Knights of Freedom was the clearest out of it all (Avenger, Scarab, Divine, Grimalkin, Dr Archeville, others). By that time, he'd moved into his own place and with the money to buy a place in Riverside. It was small, but he had a following, both on the mundane and meta side. He tried, comically almost, his hand at the dating scene. It didn't work out. That and he was more absorbed in his work and art. By then he'd lost his way. doing more jobs for himself and his friends than focusing on the hero thing. And while that's not why he came up here, he always felt like it was his calling that he was ignoring. He even traveled a bit. Got his bachelor's degree in medicine. Still, the call of the hero beckoned him. Some times it even came to his front door! he was not callous. He helped what he could. Just never... OK enough's enough. He could ignore it no longer. The tug at his heart strings as the world almost drowned was too much. He was going to get out there and do something. He even took a (third after the short lived 'Life Knight') name. Vitalus! Personality and Motivation: Wesley is, well, quiet is an exaggeration. He does like conversation, he just never gets to talk. Not that he minds. He'll listen to anyone and answer in kind. He is a stand up guy and will rush to help if needed. All those years he was 'absent' was a misnomer. He was here, just in the background! He wants to step out of the back ground now. To do more than just hide in the shadow. To step up and take responsibility. Powers and Tactics: Wesley is a mix of range and melee. He'd prefer not to mix it up and shoot down his enemies in a nonviolent (as you can get with using bioenergy to blast others) way. But if it gets close range, he will flip on his signature Adrenaline Rush and quickly beat down his opponents with massive strength and speed. Complications The Job: Wesley owns and works at Knight's Ink body art shop. Tattoos and piercings are normal. But select clientele have special requests. As long as it's legal, Wesley will oblige them. The (kinda) Secret: While his new foray into the hero scene is that of a covered urban warrior, there are a handful of heroes villain and civilians that know his identity. Relationships: He is very friendly with his employees (and in fact won't hire someone if the crew disapproves). Ghosts!: Not that he fears them. Malevolent spirits are somewhat a sore spot for him as he cannot deal with them by himself. Warmth: Wesley leaves a faint heat trail that those with certain senses can see like a beacon. 9. So I'm looking for threads for Ditra Fifty-Five, my new space-based character. She is one of the Nameless, a race of cyborgs designed to overthrow the Lor Republic, before they went 'native' and more or less assimilated. They were exposed during the Incursion, and now are trying to find their place in a galaxy that doesn't trust them. Ditra ('Deet' to friends) is a PL9, and would probably do best in social or investigation type threads, though she does have a sweet built-in blaster.
  10. Zenith, the wayward daughter of Asad, is in. She wll be joining up Claremont shortly. I haven't nailed down the intro thread, but we can sort of flex and decide where to go, I am open. She is PL8 Matter Manipulator.
  11. Ok so this serves two purposes 1: I want to run a thread where the heroes have been taken to be basically living action figures for a super villain. They'll need to not only rescue the other "toys" but also stop the supervillain. I'm looking for maybe 3 heroes between pl 7-10. 2: if I wanted to use a robot impersonating someone like Centurion or do I need permission?
  12. Blarghy

    Kidnapped!

The title says it all. Leviathan, or rather his civilian identity, has run into some dangerously bad luck and can't escape it on his own without outing himself--perhaps not even then. Worse, he isn't alone: by the time his disappearance makes the morning news, police have learned that a handful of his fellow scientists at the Freedom Cross Institute are missing as well. The kidnapper is desperate, not entirely sane, and wants results that even a genius biologist will struggle to deliver, especially under such a tight schedule. To top it all off, Freedom City's heroes and law enforcement aren't the only parties looking for Tristan and his abductor--just the only ones planning to leave witnesses. This is the sequel to my other game, probably the second of three adventures, if all goes according to plan. Heritage has already claimed a slot to carry over Miracle Girl from the previous thread; I'm looking for 2-3 other characters around PL10, give or take. At least one detective-type would probably be helpful, obviously, but I'm willing to adjust the clues around whoever gets involved. Social PCs could make good use of Gather Info, and in a pinch, Miracle Girl's different vision modes should turn up a lot. Lastly, please keep in mind that this'll be my first non-solo game, so patience is appreciated, as is advice.
  13. Hey guys. It's me, Gamer. This is just a recruitment pitch for my character intro thread for Evergreen. Here's an overview: When news start circulating of a mysterious creature prowling a particular park and preying on select individuals whom terrorize others, and it coincides with a sudden rise in plant life within said park that is rumored to be tied to an abandoned greenhouse, certain heroes unite to unravel the mystery...but what secrets does the park, and by extension, the green house hold? And who or what is the one known as Evergreen? For more info on Evergreen, here ya go: http://www.freedomplaybypost.com/topic/9636-evergreen-pl-10-gamerxz/ A link to the actual IC thread: http://www.freedomplaybypost.com/topic/9645-chosen-by-the-earth/
  14. So here's the idea: A series of attacks have been occurring in Emerald City and CoVic where victims have been found cold and drained of blood. Most of them remain dead, but some rise again within a few hours and attack anyone they can get their hands on. I'm looking for two PC's preferably around PL 10 to join in and stop this menace!
  15. So in the spirit of all the hype with the new injustice game: I present an adventure hook. Plot hook: the heroes have been entered into a tournament. A street fighting tournament across the United States. Some have entered for the mysterious prize at the end. Some for the fame that comes with. Some have even been blackmailed into fighting. Some are hoping to eliminate rivals via an "accident" in the ring. Who's running this tournament? What's the prize at the end? Well, I suppose that will be something for our heroes to figure out! So! I'm looking for some characters who are martial artists. It doesn't matter the discipline, as a rule though they should at least be "blackbelt" quality in their style of choice. The other thing I need is why they are in this competition. It might also be interesting to have some characters who are more investigative characters (not to say martial artists can't be this!) who are trying to see who is behind all this. I'm feeling Kid Kamehameha for this. I'd love to have 3-5 PC's as well! If if anyone has any martial arts npcs they think might be a good fit I would be super appreciative!
  16. So one of the appeals of anything set in a High School type environment is seeing the characters deal with the everyday problems of school life, especially if you've got the additional "curse" of powers. So I'd like to try something to hopefully allow characters to experience everyday life in Claremont. The idea I have is for a couple of characters to have a single short encounter with an everyday event, as much as things can be with powers, and have to decide how to deal with the situation. So for instance the characters are hanging out in the hall when they see a couple of students bullying another student. Then the characters would have to decide how they'd help out (because obviously they'd get involved). Depending on what they do they could get in trouble and even a dreaded visit to the headmistress and at least make new NPC friends and enemies. Obviously less confrontational events involving dating and making friends, though many events would depend on what the player wanted for there character. So is this something people would be interested in trying out?
  17. Hey guys, so I'm thinking of running a thread in a parallel earth. As the title of the post suggests this is an earth where pirates and the open ocean are a fairly significant portion. so I think I'm looking for probably two or three PC's who are down for some swashbuckling. Either post a response here or else PM Me. I'm thinking this will be around a PL 10 thread.
  18. So I'm back, and it feels so good! But, obviously I can't just jump back into rping (well I will do that) without being overzealous. It's my nature, after all. So to start off with I'm going to be resuming any threads I was in that stalled (and starting those I promised to start) as well as actually starting the rest of those promised threads. But I'm also going to expand on the idea I had for one of those threads. An Atlantean Invasion! This will partly serve as bit of getting So Freedom City: The Atlantean Royal family is set to open a new Atlantean Embassy in FC. With direct access to an undersea villa that will act both as a residence for princess Thaelia as well as a tourist destination for Freedom City. The king's public unveiling of the embassy was more confrontational than intended and he instead declares war on the surface. Australia: Though the Sea-King is gifted with supreme military, executive, and judicial authority thoughout the kingdom of Atlantis. The fact remains that each Atlantean colony has its own king to take care of the city's affairs (not to mention each colony has its own representatives in the royal assembly). King Omor the Aquarian is one such king. The ruler of Amphitritis (a colony near Australia) has often petitioned Sea King and the rulers of other Atlantean colonies to declare fullscale war on the surface. But until now his demands have failed to move the other leaders. Times have changed and Australia finds itself under attack. Emerald City In Emerald City's first taste of large scale Super Action, a Tidal Wave is set to collide with the city. Hidden inside the tidal wave is an invading force of Atlanteans. Or so it seems. But, much like the city itself not everything is what it appears to be. Can the local heroes put a stop and uncover whether the attack is truly related to the restless Atlanteans elsewhere? And hey why are the police headed to Hekawi Bank? Bedlam City The only soul seemingly in Bedlam concerned about Freedom City's seaperson infestation is Dr. Seymour Stoppleman resident expert on all things Atlantean/Lemurian. As anyone else can attest the city has it's own problems. The past week everyone has been plagued with shared nightmares a gruff voice asking people to bring "her" to him. The nightmares are difficult to pierce together, filled with images of scorpions, Egyptians hyerogliphics, and always ending with the ultimatum of bringing some unnamed woman to the voice. Alright as for what I'm looking for. I plan on splitting the new FL Aux lineup in half (assuming all players are interested) between FC and Australia. Since Thoughtspeed and Meatheral were proposed for this when I first put up the thread now, thread later thread (as was Kanunu, but unless Durf doesn't want to send Sandman for this) I'll probably have them in one of those threads each. Which does leave room for I want to say 1 more char in each of those locations. Emerald City and Bedlam: I'm looking for 3-5 people in each. Characters actually using the respective locations as a base of operations get priority, with no one over PL10 going to Bedlam.
  19. Looking to recruit Bedlam PCs for a thread! (probably just three) The idea is that an open super-battle breaks out in downtown Bedlam - and Lady Horus is one of the combatants! Will the PCs intervene/get caught up in the fracas?
  20. I've just started a flag football thread for anyone interested in joining. A Friendly Game is opened to all and any characters interested. Even if you're not interested in playing football, the thread is open for people to mingle with other characters. Please take a look. I hope to see people join up! Oh, rules for the football part of the game can be found and discussed in the OOC thread.
  21. So, we have done these before in the past but I thought I'd toss the idea out and see how much interest there was in current PCs. If I had Phantom host a gathering for Freedom City's arcane practitioners to get together, would there be any interest? Social thread to form the basis of having other contacts of folks dealing with supernatural threats and issues. May lead to adventure spin offs down the line but no combat planned for this thread, barring people arguing about best practices!
  22. Alright before I get to posting in places today. And I definitely still have some places I need to catch up on I figured I'd start some new threads. So here's what I'm offering to GM. If you're interested in your characters taking part in any of these plot hooks just drop a line in this thread. The Ideal PL Range, and number of players isn't a hard and fast guideline. I just thought it would make it easier in the deciding which PC to submit part for some! What I need from you: If I take over 30 hours to respond. Just nudge me in Chat. I'm trying to pick the pace up on my posting. Also if you want to take the reigns over and instead GM one of the threads in the half I include my own characters. That'd be cool too. But, not wholly necessary! Seriously though poke me in Chat! Interim Thread Name: Entrance of the Gladiators Plot Hook: Your hero has been captured with no recollection of who nabbed them. Now they find themselves having to navigate a booby trap amusement park full of death traps and enemies at every turn. That's right it's a Murderworld thread! Ideal Number of Players: 3-4 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Interim Thread Name: Highway Robbery Plot Hook: A local gang has managed to steal a series of top of the line armored vehicles from the STAR Squad. Now the FCPD are at their wits ends trying to prevent robberies from occurring throughout the city using their own tools. Ideal Number of Players: 1-3 (Presumably at least 1 has a cool car) Ideal PL Range: 7-10 Note: I might use the pursuit rules here. Interim Thread Name: Superior Firepower Plot Hook: Ever since they broke off from Mastermind, the Power Corps has been amongst the most sought out Mercenary groups in the world. Their employers have ranged from corporations to supervillains to even world governments. Suffice to say the number of connections has made it difficult to keep them incarcerated. But, the times have changed. Rumors say that the Power Corps armor is no longer considered top of the line when compared to the number of active heroes flying around in a battlesuit. Seeking to prove their worth the Power Corps begins targeting armored heroes. Ideal Number of Players: 3-4 (AEGIS affiliated or power armored only) Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Character I'm Hitching along for the Ride: Argonaut Note: If only armored heroes show up. It might be good idea to open up with multiple solo threads in which the Power Corps end up ambushing and probably beating them separately (it would be 8 on 1 after all). Interim Thread Name: Purple Haze Plot Hook: A new narcotic has found its way onto the streets Stockholm going by the name of purple haze, a thick, viscous liquid that grants seemingly random powers moments after it is consumed. It is thought to be a derivative of Zoom and Max, which are found predominantly in Freedom City. Its real origins are slightly more complex. Ideal Number of Players: 1-2 Ideal PL Range: 7-10 Note: I was planning on running this thread a year ago. And just never got around to starting it up. So you can imagine, I definitely have a lot of interest in it. Interim Thread Name: What Should Not Be Unearthed Plot Hook: A society of assassins devoted to the spread of evil and chaos, the Coils of Apep worship the Egyptian serpent god of chaos, Apep. In recent years, the cult has come under the influence of the Serpent People and the Brotherhood of the Yellow Sign, who have convinced the bulk of the cult that they are the “chosen of Apep." There might be some truth to this, as some believe Apep is simply one incarnation of the Unspeakable One, the dark god of the Brotherhood. That's all well and good, but what will happen when the Coils begins to return Apep to this world? Ideal Number of Players: 3 Character I'm Hitching Along for the Ride: Glamazon Ideal PL Range: 7-12 Note: A majority of this thread will take place in Egypt. And yes, while Apep has appeared before, as has a cult worshiping him, and a villain empowered by him. I don't expect this thread will have much if any overlap. Interim Thread Name: A Hill of Beans Plot Hook: As part of a variety of social and political reforms under the current ruler, King Mohammed VI, Morocco offers a “conditional neutrality” to various superhumans seeking temporary asylum. Under this agreement, superhumans possessing a special visa issued by Morocco can operate within the borders of the nation sans government interference, even if they are wanted by the authorities of other nations with which Morocco usually has extradition treaties. These visas are of a very limited length and can be withdrawn at the discretion of the crown. Unfortunately, the public begins to question the safety of such visas when three very public crimes occur due to visiting supervillains. Ideal Number of Players: 3-4 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Character I'm hitching along for the ride: Argonaut Note: I'm gonna cut to the chase. And reveal a twist ahead of time. There's some Terminus relatedness going on here. Interim Thread Name: Rex Quondam, Rexque Futurus Plot Hook: Archaeological artifacts smuggled out of England to Morocco find the characters wrapped up in the plot of an international terrorist weapons engineer. But, not before an exhibit at the Morocco Heritage Museum is attacked all while the characters are attending the grand unveiling. Ideal Number of Players: 1-2 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Character I'm hitching along for the ride: Foreshadow Note: Might make this a Vanguard thread. If the other Vanguard players are interested. Which doesn't overrule the interest in 1-2 more players. Interim Thread Name: Age of Unitron Plot Hook: Talos latest creation has proven himself far from patient. Immediately and publicly setting about attacking various robotics facilities to gather parts while declaring the end of the age of Organics. The heroes find defeating Unitron more difficult than expected when the machine rebuilds himself faster and stronger at every turn. Eventually growing cocky enough to try and even usurp his own father. Catching the heroes in the middle of a robotic Civil War. Number of Players: 3-5 Ideal PL Range: PL12-15 Interim Thread Name: Extinction Agenda Plot Hook: Cerebrus Rex needs to secure control over Earth in order to begin making it a suitable home for the survivors of his own race. Unluckily for us, part of making it suitable is getting rid of a massive amount of the "ape primitives" infesting this world. Re-creating Foundry tech, the Saurian invader sets about attacking the city with his army of Robosaurs. Number of Players: 3-4 Ideal PL Range: 7-12 Interim Thread Name: Race to the Top Plot Hook: A Speedster approaches the record for number of bank robberies committed in a single day as she speeds through the state robbing banks. Spurring the attention seeking Faster Pussycat to join in on the action. Can the heroes catch these high speed crimes before they finish? Number of Players: 2-3 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Note: You'd think I would've changed Faster Pussycat's name from the Threat report. Because it's awful. But, nope just changing her appearance. Interim Thread Name: Grue Today, Gone Tomorrow Plot Hook: Even in the tumultous polical climate that the Khanate now finds itself, the interim government needs to find a way to care for its people. As such the Khanate has requested the assistance from the heroes in capturing band of grue bandits raiding villages on a small planet on the rim of Khanate space. But, it doesn't take long for the Grue to be the least of the heroes worries. Number of Players: 2-3 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Interim Thread Name: From Beneath You, It Devours Plot Hook: The Atlantean Royal family's proposition to move the embassy closer to the port. With direct access to an undersea villa that will act both as a residence for princess Thaelia as well as a tourist destination for Freedom City. Strangely, the king's public announcement was more confrontational than intended and he instead declares war on the surface. Number of Players: 3-4 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Character I'm Hitching along for the ride: Glamazon Interim Thread Name: Age of Aquarian Plot Hook: Although the Sea-King is gifted with supreme military, executive, and judicial authority thoughout the kingdom of Atlantis. Number of Players: 3-4 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Note: This thread takes place in pretty much the same time frame as the previous one. Interim Thread Name: Blank Space Plot Hook: Damantha DeMaurier, the head of AEGIS Special Projects Division, has gone missing. The heroes have been task with tracking down the missing Dame. But, traversing the Gerber House for clues may be easier said than done. The Gerber House lies on a magical nexus and can be more than a little difficult to traverse Number of Players: 1-2 Ideal PL Range: 7-10 Interim Thread Name: The Klaw of Benidiction Plot Hook: A visiting foreign dignitary is murdered. His limo very publicly blowing up in front of the embassy. For the sake of international relations, this case has to be solved with a matter of expediency. Number of Players: 1 Ideal PL Range: 7-10 Interim Thread Name: Thank God, It's Thursday Plot Hook: A radio dj is fired for his dated gimmick, and undertakes the persona of the villainous Doctor Disco. Unfortunately for the city, Doctor Disco's initial crime spree is a little over his weight class. With what should otherwise be a pretty ineffectual villain proceeding to attempt to summon the "god of Disco". Number of Players: 1-2 Ideal PL Range: 7-10 Interim Thread Name: Cinco por Cinco Plot Hook: A series of murders has added to the already controversial plans for the Olympics in Rio. The heroes have either been called in or volunteered to put a stop to these senseless murders. A shadow of the Carnivale Catastrophe from years ago still ringing through the city. Number of Players: 1-2 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Character I'm Hitching along for the ride: Foreshadow Interim Thread Name: Dreadful Dares Plot Hook: An mystery novelist is kidnapped and crimes related to the plots of his books are being re-enacted. To make matters worse the hero is not the only one interested in uncovering the crimes. Mobsters are also after the missing author and getting in the way tearing up crime scenes looking for said author. As well as a pesky agent who keeps getting himself in over his head. Number of Players: 1-2 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Interim Thread Name: Elvis Isn't Dead Plot Hook: A group of greasers, yes greasers, steal technology from police evidence as well as experimental technology from ASTRO Labs. The end result? The King is brought back from the dead. Only the experiment went a little ary. And a numerous different Elvis hard light holograms were brought forth from the slapdash machine. Some a little more questionable than others. Including but not limited to: Zombie Elvis, Vampire Elivs, and even Attack of the 50' Elvis. Can the heroes fend of Elvis? Number of Players: 1-2 Ideal PL Range: 7-10 Interim Thread Name: Pirates of the Sulu Sea: On Rojo Tides Plot Hook: A filipino pirate crew has sent out an SOS from the very vessel they were trying to board. The message was garbled. But, it was clear that the pirates need help. Not to mention the state that the crew itself must find itself in as this particular pirate crew has a reputation. Dozens of vessels have been robbed without a single shot fired by the crew. Number of Players: 1-2 Ideal PL Range: 10-12 Character I'm Hitching along for the ride: Foreshadow Also as an aside. Since I don't know what's going on with this as far as Shoji and Heri are concerned. @Tiffany Korta and @Raveled how about I just start that thread with Corona and Sitara. Unless someone else wants to throw their hat in for a character joining it. Also HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you mothers. So...Alder, E, and Thev I believe.
  23. I'm looking to recruit two or four PCs for a quick thread. Explosions bloom above the downtown skyline as super-powered mercenaries attack ASTRO Labs! Can the heroes save the scientists? Why is AEGIS on the scene so fast? What was stolen, and where will it end up? Expect threats around a PL 8 range. Preference will be given to Claremont or space-affiliated heroes.
  24. So based on some discussion in chat with supercape and others I think I've come up with a fairly simple but hopefully engaging idea for a thread that will feature some social and technological aspects and indirect antagonism along with some combat here and there. anyone interested?
  25. So I've decided I'll try my hand at GMing, now that I'm not completely new to the system anymore. It's gonna be a fairly straight up combat adventure, to keep it a bit simpler for me. 2 - 4 Characters Preferrably around PL9 to 11, but adjustments can always be made
