  1. “Yeah and Imagine not for convenienschee sake am I rhight?” Luke grinned, still chewing through his meal, albeit at an impressive speed. He fortunately he didn’t need to eat enough to satisfy the requirement of his real form, but that didn’t mean that the young man didn’t have an impressive appetite on his own. “Bet Dracula doesn’t need to get to school in time…” “That’s weird… and fitting, I mean, for it to appear around Halloween, maybe it’s like some spirit or somethin." Yeah, or perhaps he should watch less horror movies and actually learn more actual facts on the matters. He was a freaking creature of myth himself after all… And yet... "A pentagram eh? Not ominous at all..." He chuckled, “What do you think Pol?” He turned to face his friend. “I’m definitely up to take a look.”
  2. Luke ‘Whohoo-ed’ like a little kid during the whole ride. Adrenaline pumping as the Delirum shook him up as if he was in a cocktail mixer. Perhaps it wasn’t going to bide well with his massive breakfast, but then again, whatever, despite having somewhat shaky legs when he stopped down from the attraction, he knew he was gonna great soon anyway. “Always up for a burger.” He replied enthusiastically. “Although we might also take another spin or two before that? Not all of us have an iron stomach you know?” He added, as his eyes surveyed the park, looking for some other gut wrenching attraction to do before they stuffed themselves again. “Definitely.” He smirked at Leon. “Sit down? No way man. Do you though? You do seem a bit pale yourself...”
  3. “Hey that’s a cool power man.” Luke smiled at the kid. His words though? They did sound kinda threatening didn’t they? "Quirk?" He raised his eyebrows. Was he expected to know him or something? “And of course we are.” His tone though, wasn’t as enthusiastic as before. Yeah, plus the teacher didn’t know him. That was definitely weird. What the hell was going on? The kid didn’t look like much, but then again, neither did he look like a 12ft tall lizard and yet… In this world of theirs, anything was possible.
  4. Of course he was flirting right? Why else would Zach’s cheek turned to a reddish hue otherwise? That said, good for him. Luke did the best to restrain himself just to a couple of small teases here and there, innocent stuff. God it was getting cold, the young man did the best not to show it, but then again, there was little he could do. He fumbled in his backpack for his hoodie (he kinda remembered that the desert was gonna be colder during the night, but definitely didn’t expect that he was gonna actually need a jacket or something). Better than nothing I guess… He threw a sympathetic smile at Miurne who did look at least as unease as he was. “Didn’t think this was gonna be that cold either… First night in the desert for you too?” “Sure thing boss.” Luke nodded enthusiastically. Of course he was gonna take a look later, well, unless something more interesting happened outside at least. He did wait for Mr. Macedon to turn away from him before throwing Charlie a glance and a mischievous smirk. “Still, I mean, don’t you have any story to share around the campfire or something? Come on Prof. you can’t tease us some big desert mystery and then not share a little…” He teased the professor. The young man winced at Zach’s poison ivy example. Definitely something that was gonna hurt. “Yeah you are effing right man.” He tossed before he began helping out settling their camp.
  5. “Hey man and ye-“ Then the sky caught fire. “Woah.” Luke jumped on his feet. What the hell was going on? “Is this somethin’-“ His sentence was cut short by claning metal. Things were getting worse weren’t they? “We are? No way….” He frowned. “I have to bring my little brother go trick or treating-“ Well, plus when he was done he had a bit of Halloween fun planned too, but well… Didn’t look like it was gonna happen wasn’t it? He turned to face the senior, hoping that he had some kind of explanation, but then again, he looked as surprised as he was. “Bet it anin’t something that happens every Halloween around here am I right?”
  6. There was no way in the world that Luke would let that douche hog all the spotlight wasn’t it? The new big team at Claremont? Really? Casanova needed to be taken down a peg, or two. Not that he was doing that because he was jealous or something, obviously. His motivations were purely altruistic, of course. Sebastian and his friends were for sure going to cause trouble and he couldn’t allow that. And if he had fun stopping him, well so be it. Now he had no idea about what Charlie had in mind of course, but the fact that he had heard that the New Young Freedom were going to be out looking for trouble that evening couldn’t have been a coincidence right? So there he was. In his school uniform (with the sleeves removed), ready for troubles. “What’s up people?” He saluted his friends and threw a glance at Arrow. Now the two hadn’t exactly met yet, but she had that ‘trust fund girl’ vibe that didn’t exactly sit that well with the young man. Whatever. “So what’s the plan?” He tossed at Charlie.
  7. “You do?” Luke gave Shift an incredulous chuckle. “I mean, yeah of course, you need that stuff. Obviously.” “But come on, it’s a superhero school, of course we train for hero stuff too. Dunno we learn how to fight.” “Without causing any collateral damage.” He added shortly thereafter in a much less triumphant tone. Then again, yeah he was there mostly to learn how to do that so… “We have like this super cool training room with like solid holograms you can do some pretty crazy shit in….”
  8. “Hey.” Luke waved at Zach, or better, shook his head in his friend’s general direction, his hands too busy balancing the content of his way over capacity lunch tray. Not that it will stay that way for long of course. “What’s up man?” He said, as he found a spot for himself close to the young tech-boy. “A teleporthing houshe?” He smiled, despite having already begun devouring his meal. Claremont’s offer was way better than anything he had at the old school, it was not comparable to mom’s though, but then again… free… so yeah… “Would be cool, I mean, it’d be like, no need for a car if you can just move your house around.” He smiled. “But I bet you’re talkin’ about some spooky stuff though, right?” “Yeah shure I’m in…”
  9. "Oh yeah right and homework too." Luke lowered his eyes 'innocently' a smirk still on his lips. "They are super important." Yeah... maybe? He would have to admit that despite the change of school his grades hadn't exactly improved... "Mine is..." Well, he couldn't say PE right? They were there to give the kids a good impression to the kids after all. "Well it's history I think, if we are speaking about normal, non superhero kind of stuff." Yeah that would do.
  10. “Seventy-five miles? Not impressed. I can fly faster.” He tossed with a cocky grin on his lips. Well that was not exactly the same and he knew it, but whatever, it was going to be fun anyway. “Oh we can. What about you old geezers?” He chuckled. As he followed them on the giant Frisbee ride, choosing a place for him and Leon where they could look at the senior’s faces during the ‘ordeal’.
  11. “You really are a player man.” Luke chuckled, giving Zach a nudge on a shoulder. “Can’t blame you, though.” He added playfully. “I bet… that we are gonna see those things tonight am I right boss?” Yeah it made sense, after all why bring them somewhere with a supernatural phenomena (or whatever that was that happened at night) if they had no chance to partake. Besides he was gonna take a look anyway, the cat was out of the bag now. “Seven miles? That's easy. Let’s go.” He happily traded the map back and forth with Callie on the way. “Woah looks like you are great at this, where did you learn?” He tossed casually after a while. Wasn't as easy though... Seven miles in the desert... Not a walk in the park, but all in all the young man didn’t mind, he kept tossing teases here and there to his friends and in general feeling chatty most of the way. Beside the ‘big lizard’ part of him did enjoy basking under the sun anyway. Things swiftly changed however when the sun went down. (sundown on the desert was awesome by the way) “Woah.” Yeah sure, he had heard that the nights were gonna be colder, but didn’t really expect such a massive shift. Suddenly he found himself pretty jealous of Charlie’s insulated armor, the thin layer of fabric on his own skin wasn’t gonna be as effective. Come on Luke man up. “So we are like camping here tonight?” He left his backpack on the ground, close to Macedon’s. “I can make the fire.” He offered smirking. Yeah assuming they had stuff to burn around there though. Really? An oil lamp? Like in a freaking movie. He chuckled as his eyes got accustomed to the darkness, scanning the cave well beyond the pale circle of light of the lamp, curtesy of his monstrous nature. “We are not gonna explore this?” He tossed casually as he absentmindedly rubbed his bare shoulders to try to shrug off the chill.
  12. “I bet you are.” Luke grinned at the dark haired boy. “Anyone els-” “Ok. I can bring it back Prof.” He chuckled, closed his eyes again for just a moment and there they were, back in the classroom. “Like we never left.” “And my bet is… All your powers are awesome.” He gave the class a wide smile before his attention could shift back to Mr. Parker. “Well, I’m kinda new to Claremont, but sure thing” He shrugged. Whatever. “As for a typical day… Well… Wake up early. Do mornin jog. Breakfast. Play a light prank to certain dorm mate…” The young man explained playfully. “Ups maybe I shouldn’t have said that.” “Anyway, then Class… That by the way is great, feels like we are really learning somethin’ useful there. If you know what I mean.” “And PE is definitely somethin’” He smirked again. “That leaves the evening for superhero stuff and the night for some fun.”
  13. “And so you didn’t have anything to do with it Luke?” “Definitely, he must have got there on his own...” “On top of the tower?” “Yeah…” “And he also tied himself up to the pole?” “Yeah. I mean, you never know what people might be into right?” Somehow though it didn’t work…. So yeah there he was, for his first official visit to the headmistress office. Which, knowing how many time he had to do the same at his former school was a miracle into itself. Whatever. Was he supposed to be scared or something? What’s the worst that could happen? Right. Luke leaned comfortably with his back against one of the walls, a confident smirk on his lips. Although, to be completely honest, deep down the young man didn’t feel as secure about the upcoming conversation as he was in in similar situations at his old school. After all there he didn’t care if he got expelled... At Claremont it was another matter entirely. Whatever. He could at least pretend that he didn't care. Waiting in silence though? That was definitely too much. “Hey man… What are you in for?” He playfully teased Adam.
  14. "A paper jokes? So soon..." Luke smirked and then gave Forever boy a playful nudge on a shoulder, a pretty strong one, but then again, Forever boy was a super, he was sure that he could take it. "And that? That's child play you know?" He smiled as he eyed the Delirium. "If they don't have anything better here... I guess..." He gave his group of friends a cocky grin. "Come on let's go."
  15. The young man smiled, not because Mr. Parker’s approval made him feel pride of course. Not. At. All… “Yeah that works also on the other way around though, I mean, powers, they don’t make you good either. So yeah, it’s pretty awesome you all are studying to become superheroes, you know?" “Yeah he is not too bad.” Luke shrugged at the mention of Forever Boy. He chuckled though at Shift’s demonstration. “Awesome…” As his friend changed he closed his eyes for a few moments, weaving a bit of his own magic, soon the walls, roof and even the floor, were no more, replaced by blue skies, white clouds and a distant flying island on the horizon. “Anyway, what is it that you can do here guys? Wanna show us a bit?” Maybe it was a mistake to invite a full class of kids to all use their powers, but well, thinking things through hasn’t exactly always been Luke’s forte.

  18. “Didn’t know that it was an upgrade.” Luke smirked, giving Leon a playful nudge on a shoulder. “Aren’t we always?” He chuckled as he waved at Eira. “Nice to meet you two by the way.” “Yeah, place is cool, brought my little ‘bro’s here for his birthday last year.” He smiled fondly. He wasn’t exactly so prod now on how he paid for the entry fee (or for the many times he had snuck in to score an easy mark), but whatever that was in the past. “He loved it.” And if he had to be completely honest, so did Luke. No way he could resist a great roller coaster. “Looks awesome.” His eyes followed a batch of screaming park goers having the time of their lives (well at least the ones who weren't frozen in fear), on the spinning contraption. “Hey not strong enough? Is it a challenge or something?” He grinned playfully and this time it was Eira's turn to get a friendly nudge.
  19. Luke was grinning ear to ear during Pol presentation, his inner twelve years old, gleefully enjoying the show. He did throw a bit of a fiery gaze at the kid that looked like he was fearmongering about his friend, but, well, his words afterwards proved otherwise so yeah whatever. “Right. Plus, I mean who we are don't matter. Wanna know the real deal? It’s who we choose to be.” He threw a nod at Mr. Parker. God if he knew that it was true. “I’m. I don't eat people though." The young man chuckled. "Usually.” He added playfully Sleep of on gold? I wish…. “Trust me, a bed is way better than gold for sleepin’ in.” He smiled. "Easier on the back." He smirked.
  20. “Not as hard as it looks, I mean, how much could he weight right?” Yeah he could probably lift the whole bed with one arm and he was pretty light on his feet. The driver had already given him a few side glances during their ride, after all, Luke didn’t exactly have the appearance of a private school kid, with the tank top showing the tats on his arms, ruined jeans and worn sneakers. Whatever. #Not my problem. Besides they had way more 'important' stuff to discuss. There was absolutely no doubt that Sebastian was gonna get pranked, sooner rather than later. Maybe a classic? Cover the room in plastic cups, the content depending on how cruel they felt, replace his shampoo with baby oil (or hair dye), hide a bunch of alarm clocks in his room. Plus there was everything that could be done with a bunch of duct tape or shaving foam… “And that’s just if we wanna be nice.” Yeah and with superpowers? There was an entire world of possibilities. “Really man?” Luke chuckled and gave Leon an high-five after their ride was out of sight, although there was a hint of jealousy in his eyes. “You got to teach me that trick one of these days.” Yeah like if it was actually possible... “Born ready.” The young man smirked. “Hey whose sidekick exactly?” Luke smirked as he caught the gist of the conversation of the two fellow Claremonters who were waiting for them close to the Ocean Heights park. Wasn’t hard to spot them among the crowd right? Especially given the guy’s choice of attire. That said, it did look like every cute girl in school already got a date didn't it? That was definitely a shame... Again. Whatever. They were there to have fun nothing more.
  21. Luke nodded. A simple Q&A sure, he can do that. Besides, yeah. Besides, how could he say no to a small crowd of admiring eyes? No way. “Luke here, your friendly neighborhood Dragon.” He bowed his head slightly. “What’s up future heroes?” He shouted as he enthusiastically saluted the small class. Awkward silence. Great. “Come on I don’t bit-” He teased, a grin on his lips, but the children had already begun to swarm him and Pol, with a ton “You are f-” Language Luke. “ehem - awesome too.” He chuckled “Yeah I can breath fire. No I don’t think Mr. Powers will like it if I demonstrate…” He threw a side glance at the teacher. “Although… Maybe I can show you somethin’” There was a cocky grin on his lips. Then he inhaled deeply, as a golden light started to burn through his chest underneath his uniform, raising swiftly toward his neck and shining brightly in his eyes. The gleaming breath of flames that he exhaled next toward the ceiling (no reason to scare the whole class) was just an illusion though, an harmless pyrotechnic display, but a sweet one nonetheless.
  22. “Yeah, my bet is, we are gonna have tons of chances pretty soon.” Luke chuckled, yeah, now he had no experience about superpowered bullies (well…), but he definitely believed he knew how mundane one behaved, eventually, Sebastian was gonna do something stupid. “Neat…” He bowed his head slightly at Charlie, playfully toying with his room keys between his finger, making them disappear. Not the only one who know magic tricks mate. He smirked. “Now you are talking some sense.” There was a grin on his lips as he gave Charlie a pat on the back. He nodded approvingly as Leon accepted too. “Come on guys. Who’s ready for a basketball lesson?” “Hey you know what? If it’s a least for of us coming maybe we can figure out something better than just shooting hoops…” Yeah why not, a game with other superpowered guys was gonna be awesome.
