  1. Reflex against the stun 1... Save against the stun: 20+8 = 28 Reflexes against the explosion= 9+8 = 17 Fail Save vs Damages = 15+8= 23 (Bruised, but could be worse)
  2. “Know-it-all...” Luke grinned, teasing Charlie in return. Nevermore was kinda right though? After all codenames were meant to help keep them and their families safe. Although he didn’t exactly see the point of using them when surrounded by his schoolmates, then again. Whatever. “But ok. Fine.” He shrugged, mindless of the fact that his friends were actually on his shoulders. “Sorry…” The city looked so small from up there didn’t it? Truth was, for a short while, Luke just basked in the moment. The feeling of the wind under his wings. The sense of unlimited freedom. He loved flying after all, since the moment he had figured out how (with much more trial and error than he would have liked to admit, but well...). Plus brining someone else with him into the sky, especially his friends, well, it felt great. Still... People were in danger down there. He surveyed the city, perched as he was on top of its tallest tower (how cool was that by the way). “We need to do something.” He muttered as he tried to look for anyone that might be in need of their aid. “We should check with the Scarab, though. I mean, freakin’ Centurion asked, must be important.” That said those figures might actually be in trouble. “Yeah right… Let’s see what they are up to.” He nodded at Muirne. “Get ready people.” He added before getting back into the air, carrying the rest of the band toward the group down below.
  3. Monsters? “Yeah, and I’d say we are in good company…” Nightscale remarked sarcastically, grinning at the witch. He did hesitate a little however, when their gazes crossed. Damn. The witch sure had a way to make him feel uncomfortable. Besides, she also knew that he wasn’t human, somehow. Perhaps she had just watching the fight with a spell or something, but then again, maybe she had other reasons for knowing. Creepier reasons. “I… Well, this guy… I guess he deserves to rest.” Yeah, right? There wasn’t much conviction in his voice. “And what about the others? I mean, you are the one who is keeping them... alive, right? Can you free them too?” A noise in the dark! Steps. Coming their way. Heavy steps. Troubles. “Guys? Something his coming.” “What the hell?” He turned back toward the witch. “One of your friends?” “And yeah why are you here?” He echoed Sea Devil. “My bet, not to kidnap a dead president…” Although, who knows? Maybe? Perhaps she wanted to make a Zombie President? That would be metal as hell.

    Fury Road

“Wipe out humanity? Well should have sent more than two.” He joked, that said, what if they did? After all if these ones had somehow crossed into their reality more could do the same right? He definitely had ton of questions, but then again the middle of a fight didn’t exactly look like the right time to ask. Elena. Ok so even interdenominational warriors could have normal names it seemed, then again so could dragons... “Luke…” “Yeah and you fight well…” He chuckled. Anyway. Back to the fight. Giant monsters out to wipe out humanity. Ok. Vulnerable to mind tricks, zaps and magnets. “Thanks…” He nodded towar Danica. That said, he had none of those. Whatever. It didn’t look like they were invulnerable though just tough. Maybe if he could find a weak spot… Again, he jumped, spectral wings guiding his leap, enough to get him toward the head of one of the monsters, to juncture in its armor where Nightscale could sink his claws.
  7. “There are like. Treasures or something on both sides of the sub...” Luke scratched his head “Maybe they are magical relics or something, or who knows? Nazi gold maybe?” Unlikely given that those guys were from before Nazi were a thing, but well… “Whatever let’s go.” He jumped down, after Aquaria and Singularity, landing with unshod feet on something unpleasantly organic. Woah gros. The stench of death inside was almost overwhelming. Again gros. Yet he did his best to keep track of the scent of the closest relic, just in case. “Woah people really used to travel in this? Feels like we are in a freaking metal coffin…” The thought kinda made a shiver run down his spine. At least his eyes had quickly grown accustomed to the darkness, but that didn't make the local atmosphere much better to be honest. “Oh hey.” He waved at the woman. “So you must be the witch.” The young man smiled. “The one that’s behind all of this?” He tossed. “Hey!” He protested once the witch had apparently snuffed out the unlife from the singing zombie head. He wasn't exactly sure how to feel for a German soldier that was planning to kidnap the president and conquer America, but then again, that guy had traveled for a ages, resisted death itself, to get to these shores and try to complete his mission, just to fail miserably and die, it was freaking sad.
  8. Nighstcale is gonna keep punching I think. Hehe I don't think that emotion control would be super effective against Omegadrones He will keep using the all-out attack to get +2 to hit and -2 to defense. Targeting Omegadrone 1 30! Nighstcale first critical hit! Yeah So DC 28. I was tempted to use this option too: Alternate Effect: The critical hit results in an alternate effect for the attack, like a use of Extra Effort for a power stunt, except the character suffers no Fatigue as a result. This option can represent a "lucky" attack that does something completely different, like blinding a target, or imposing some other condition. Maybe to like tear apart some of the drone armor or something, but I'm not sure if it might be better just to keep the save difficulty as high as possible instead. I'm going to wait for Miurne's IC post before making mine.
  9. Nightscale is gonna spend an hero point to add alternate power against his magic resistance, lowering it in order to more easily use a bit of magic without dismissing his enhanced strength. Here it is: (I'm planning a rebuild of Luke where his utility powers are split from the combat ones, but for now he would have to make do with this...) Then he will. Free Action: Maintain the Grapple and keep his enhanced strength up. Standard Action: Use Emotion Control on Stinger to make his words more convincing (he will use the subtle feat, but not mind blank), using hate as an emotion to sow mistrust toward Casanova Save DC 18. I don't think he is gonna move again as he is already satisfied of being out of the silence aura. Maintain Grapple Roll if she still tries to escape: https://orokos.com/roll/872017, If she tries to convince him that she is buying his words, but actually isn't Luke has SM 20 on Sense Motive.
  10. “Well. Take down that Blue chicken up there and maybe we can talk.” He teased back a playful smirk on his lips. Now what to do though? He didn’t want to hurt Stinger though, after all, sure Sebastian was extremely punchable so yeah, kicking his ass was definitely justified in the teenage boy’s mind, but the others were just his schoolmates, not that he didn't have scraps with his old ones, quite the contrary indeed, but then again, Claremont meant trying to turn a new leaf... Plus the idea of hitting a girl, superpowered or not, didn’t exactly rub him in the right way. That said, it didn’t mean that he couldn’t try to take her out of the fight somehow. Now perhaps a little bit of magic could help. Struggling to keep the hold on his monstrous side, always an effort when he attempted a spell, the young man tried his best to cross Stinger gaze with his own. “Can you explain me something?” He asked, as the magic hopefully ran its course, not allowing his grip to slide, but still without tightening it. “I know you the smartest of the bunch. Why are you hanging with that loser? I mean, people will find out what he is doing here eventually, even if we don’t go snitching around and then what?”

Caught a bit by surprise, the young man watched as the drones shrugged off anything they could throw at them until a freaking pocket sized turtle managed to chew threw their metal hide with ease… Wtf? Not that the image didn’t extract at least a chuckle from him. Oook... He darted toward the drones, once he was close enough he jumped in the air, using the momentum to fuel his assault against the metallic abominations that had just recovered from its encounter with turtle. He roared, as spectral outline of his true form surrounded him, empowering his fists to strike through metal before landing a few feet away, close to the hammer wielding warrior. "Need help?" He smirked playfully. "What the hell are these things?"
  12. Truth to be told, Luke felt a bit of a pang of jealousy at the level of adoration that Judy was receiving now. Himself, the times he got out as Nightscale, well, they didn’t end exactly had the same kind of warm reactions. Then again, it was mostly his own fault... There he was! Finally, he could see Matt among the crowd, seemingly enraptured by Jay’s appearance. “Hey man.” Luke approached his friend, giving him a high five. “Didn’t know you were also a fan… Although I can see why.” He chuckled, a playful grin on his lips and a strong pat on Matt’s back quickly followed.
  13. Luke is gonna charge Omegadrone 1 Hit: 2! Come on Dice Gods... Hero Point: 22 DC: 23 He has +2 to hit and -2 to defense until his next turn. An IC post will happen soon-ish (once I got a spare moment at work)
  14. 20 with SM (the least I give to the dice gods the better :p)
  15. “Damn!” Looked like Matt was nowhere to be seen. Then again, it was a huge crowd. Yeah he must be there somewhere right? Come on Luke, focus. There was little else to do than keep searching, at least until Judy revealed herself to the crowd. It was… Cool wasn’t it that all these people where there for her? Heartwarming to be honest. Although he begun to wonder why the coach thought it was gonna be a problem. But well… Whatever, things were doing fine. He gave a couple of glances toward her position, just in case someone actually dangerous had infiltrated the crowd or something, but otherwise he kept looking for his friend.
  16. Guess Luke will keep searching with a 22 this time
  17. Nighstcale is gonna use his super senses to see if he can find something interesting in the vessel, his in particular: Super-Senses 5 (Valuable Object Awareness; Descriptor Frequency: Very Common; Sense Type: Olfactory, Default: Radius, Ranged; Extras: Acute, Tracking)) He has SM on Notice for 20 if a roll if needed. Hehe I imagine that the experience won't be a pleasant one for him.
  18. “Yep definitely. Smells like shit.” Way worse actually. Luke coughed, the scent was almost overwhelming to his enhanced senses, he covered his nose with one arm, not that it did much, but at least it was better than nothing. “I mean, they have been dead how long?” Too much… Plus he definitely wasn’t looking forward to walk on that crap. Then again, he was sorta of bulletproof anyway, so hopefully he was safe from the rusted metal anyway… Yet… “Hey maybe our friend has something useful to say?” He unbundled the zombie head. “Like what is this singing mate?” He asked, unsure if the long dead soldier would be able to provide a coherent response. Worthy of a shot though… “Can be.” He nodded when Singularity suggested that it could be a trap. “Then again, I dunno if sinking would change much, I mean… they don’t need to breathe… Perhaps for them it would be even safer on the bottom of the ocean…” Yep plus he himself won’t be able to get there in case of troubles. “We should find whoever is casting that freakin' spell…” There was something else he could try too. Although that would be kinda of unpleasant. Bracing himself against the scent of death, the young man sniffed the air, planning to rely on his draconic knack for sensing the trail of treasures and gold, wondering if the vessel held some kind of precious relic within its hull.

“Awhshome plashe. Thankhsh.” Luke was already chewing through his first hamburger as he merrily thanked Danica for the suggestion. A second one was safely stored in a paper bag, soon to be devoured too at breakneck speed. The scent of bacon and grease filling his nostrils. “Next time I’m gonna have to show you a place I know. Best fries in Southside.” He grinned, yeah he even worked there a few weeks, pre Juvie of course. He was about to steal one of Leon's fries when the scene suddenly shifted. “Omegawhat?” He turned to the turtle girl with a puzzled look. Ah yeah those… Back to school? “Hey no way, she needs our help.” He objected clenching his fists and dropping the bag with the rest of his meal on the ground. “That’s freaking metal…” He grinned when he saw the car. Not that the young woman driving it wasn’t pretty metal too. In fact when he saw the vehicle crashing he was about to rush at the wreckage to the rescue, but it looked like the newcomer could very well handle herself. “Hey Scrapheads!” He taunted the drones. Adrenaline pumping and fire heating up in his chest.
  20. 15 Dice rolls keep not being Nightscale forte it seems. That said he also has SM on Notice (20) if useful to check any detail in the crowd that catches his attention.
  21. I didn't notice AA reply to the IC thread for some reason... Luke is gonna use his telelocation power to look for his friend. I can't use the dice-roller from work, but I'm gonna add a search roll and edit if needed once I'm back home later and I'll edit it in
  22. Luke could breathe a sigh of relief when he noticed that the crowd was in fact enthusiastic to see Judy and not the other way around. Thanks God. I was just being paranoid. Then again, anything could still happen, he should better keep his eyes well open. He nodded at Ash. “Sure.” “I’ll also be around in case of troubles. And anyway you’d do great. They love you. See?” Luke smiled again. “See you later.” He waved at Judy and Ash before darting out of the car. Luke meld into the crowd, hopefully, still in plainclothes there was little about him that could give away his true nature. He scanned the area from any sign of his friend, but truth was, he was mostly trying to follow his instinct, he had always known where to find him and the others after all. Where are you buddy?
