  1. Forever Boy Pan looked at the sigil, admiring it for a moment. There was a certain beauty to it. Reina was probably right, however. Why would anyone even be tracking him here? He had not made that many enemies yet, had he? Foiled some crimes, fought some super villains, done things at Claremont. That was the extent of his contributions in this world, as far as he was aware "I suppose you are right." He replied, as he approached the roof with Reina. She was probably right about the beeping sound and the approaching light on the tablet, so all they could do was prepare, it seemed. "But do not worry. You will not be alone." He grinned at her, winking once. "Aurora and Forever Boy! Who could stand against our might?"
  2. GM "SQUAWK!?" Barney let out a shocked yell at the sight of the clean plates. His small eyes blinked furiously, as he approached the plates and cups cautiously. He inspected them for but a moment, then turned to Oswald. "Thank you!" The sour tone from before had all but disappeared. Charlemagne could but chuckle at his butler's reaction. Then he gestured for Oswald to follow. "So... is there any particular creatures that you are interested in, hm? Can just as well be the start of the tour, if it is something I have in my menagerie!"
  3. Notice: Using Skill Mastery for taking 10, so 20.
  4. GM As the Dealer of Downers made his way into the Elf King's hall, he passed the Elf guards. Neither seemed to notice him, concealed as he now were. Even the sharp senses of they Fey could be fooled by nothing, it seemed! In the hall, the Elf King sat on his throne. A child had been brought before him, a young boy in a bright red t-shirt and jeans. He was dancing, while tears fell from his eyes. A heart breaking sight, to be sure! A retainer stood by the Elf King's side, swiftly filling a golden cup with what appeared to be wine. The king would empty the cup in but one tip, then lower it to be filled yet again. "Faster, boy! Make my tears fall yet again!" the Elf King commanded, and the boy sobbed in his misery.
  5. Notice from Elf guards: 1d20+8 = 19 So far... so unnoticed!
  6. Oh, the Wall did not like that, but Justice was swift! The Wall might be big, and he might be pissed off now, but she was faster and she would have to use that advantage. So, move. Put as much distance in between herself and the Wall as she could. A few more bullets were fired. Robin kind of wished she had counted, just to have a guess at how many shots Blowfish's goons had left, but then again, she had never really learned how, and she had no idea how many bullets those guns held anyway! So, onward and upwards, Justice Buster in hand. For a brief moment, Robin wondered whether she should fire on the Wall, try and stop him before he caught up with her, or at least slow him down enough that Kidd could catch up with him, but no. That wasn't who she was. Despite the Wall turning on them, and whatever he was cursing at them, she was not going to do that.
  7. No Atlanteans, then? Cassidy was honestly a bit disappointed, but what could you do? Dinosaurs and prehistoric animals roaming around, then? Fine, he had done that before. Hopefully there wouldn't be any snakemen, at least. "We better get going, then." He motioned towards the exit. "Any sand near your friends? Got a trick where I can travel through that. Could bring you along too, if it comes to it." It probably wouldn't be that easy. Besides, maybe he could finally get to punch a dinosaur. That wouldn't be too bad. Cassidy waited a bit for Tsunami's response before asking another question. "So, what's your story with this place? Sounds like you've been here plenty of times."
  8. GM The mighty light of Ra shone directly into the hole. The heat was intense, powerful and burning. If a hit from Lady Horus' ankh was enough to break through the floor, then a blast such as this was enough to cut through a few others. Even from the outside, the bright blast empowered by the gods themselves. Whatever ink was caught in the blast seemed to be disintegrated almost instantly. Whatever was close seemed to burn away. The ink that was just a bit away caught on fire, which quickly began to spread to the rest of the ink on the floor below. It would only be a matter of time before everyone outside would start to notice the fire. The ink oozing from the books moved faster, now, as it seemed the control of the flaming ink was either fading or abandoned all together. It was moving straight towards Dr. Thorne and Ronin.
  9. The Forever Boy deftly moved back, just inches out of reach from the black spiked tentacle. He looked to Ashley, a grin on his lips, despite the situation. "Do not worry, Leroy is with her. We decided that he had the greatest chance of entering her nightmare, while I would follow you into yours." Yes, this might be the child's nightmare, but not alone, was it? There was something more here. The Raven was not known for having child sidekicks, were she? Pan had to admit it was not his area of expertise, but perhaps the story here was closer to Ashley than it was to the child. "What is this?" There it was, an almost unnoticeable change in tone in Pan's voice. Less jovial, more focused and serious, the smile slowly fading from his lips. "What is your history with the Raven, that you fear her so? Face it. I will buy you some time." He turned towards the Raven-thing, the monster of darkness before them, Forever Blade shining in his hand, held out towards the monster. "Yes, listen to ME!" Pan all but roared back at the Raven-thing. His voice was different still. Age and experience normally kept hidden, a hint of his true nature. It was not something he kept hidden, not a secret as most would understand. If asked, he would share. But it was something that he had yet to share with the Blue Squad. Something he would have to rectify soon, if the creature's shouts of lies were any indication. Ashley would probably be able to hear the change in tone. "The world is beautiful! It is full of adventure and wonder and magic!" The Forever Blade danced around him as he shouted at the Raven-thing, swinging, shining, glimmering all around him. Its movements fast and unpredictable, preparing for another strike. "Who cares about your threats and your accusations, monster? Ashley is stronger than you!"
  10. This is supposed to be Ashley's fight, so Pan will try to Distract the Raven-thing as a standard action: Bluff 1d20+21 = 41 vs Bluff, Sense Motive or Will, whichever is the highest! the Raven-thing is dazed if I succeed! And follow up with a Move-action feint to set up an attack from Pan next round: 1d20+16 = 33
  11. Not enough space to really fly in here, and these demons were up close. Too close to put any real distance. Well, at least Nicole burned one of them in a moment, reducing their number a bit. Pan let out a laugh at the other demons' comments to that particular bit of horror. They were kind of funny, in their own horrifying way. "Really now?" They would finish what he had started? No, not if he had anything to say about it. He could hardly let Nicole take all the glory here, could he now? The black tendrils rushed towards him, but Pan was faster than them. A quick spin, and he was out of their reach, his feet just barely leaving the floor to give him some freedom of movement. "You are an ugly one, are you not?" The demon had moved close when it had first tried to reach him, so it was within reach. Good. Pixie Dust glowed in the palm of his right hand. "I mean, a cat and a toad, those I get! But are you meant to scare us, or are you the comedy act, meant to make us laugh until we give up?" Words as weapons, and blades as weapons. The shimmering glimmer that was the Forever Blade appeared almost instantly from Pan's right hand, hilt grasped tightly as he continued his whirl, swinging it straight towards the demon's throat.
  12. Pan is going to go for Mr. Man. Move action: Feint as move action to try getting in a surprise attack and get rid of that pesky dodge bonus: Bluff roll: 1d20+16 = 36 Standard: Following up with using the Forever Blade to strike at Mr. Man, using the Accurate Attack maneuvre for +2 Attack, -2 DC: 1d20+8 = 28 And that's a critical threat! DC29 Toughness if it hits, +5 if the critical hit is confirmed.
  13. Robin didn't spend as much time on Hero House as she used to. Honestly, she wanted to, it was fun and there were some great info and speculation about a lot of heroes, but actually getting in on the crime fighting on her own kind of cut into the time she was spending online. And there whole building and maintaining all her tools things, too. Still, she heard that Hero House was doing an AMA with some well known heroes, and she just had to get in on that. Anything that could help her get a handle on the situations she's been getting into lately. She had to be secure about it, though. Logged in at the university through a few levels of IP rerouting and VPN connections, a brand new user, too. And so, JustJustice logged in.
  14. GM "Necessity, yes. Then it is survival! But hunting for sport! For the thrill, to cause pain, to gather trophies? No!" There was a bit of thunder rolling in his voice again, but he kept it back, replaced with a big, wide smile. There was a certain enthusiasm to his voice, which sounded almost innocent. "Now, since I am sure that you are a fine gentleman, and if your enthusiasm for your dear cloud sheep is any indication, I do believe you are here to see my menagerie, are you not?" Oswald could almost hear an audible gleam from Charlemagne's wide smile. "Well then, shall we?"
  15. Trying to use Acrobatics to get around the Wall by jumping off the wall, getting over him and if necessary to get further, push off the Wall. Acrobatics: 1d20+8 = 24
  16. Really? "Really!?" Justice's words echoed her thoughts. The Wall was not going to play ball, and even if Kidd was grandstanding, he was at least on her side right now. So, he wanted to smash her face? Then he would need to catch her first. But fine, if that was how he wanted to do it, then that was how they were going to do this. No more trying to win him over. Robin was just done. She had to stop Blowfish, and she couldn't waste time fighting the Wall too. She would have to get by him, somehow. Thankfully, she did use to do a lot of gymnatics, and free running. So, time to get around the Wall, by using the wall, and probably the Wall too. Moving up, Robin jumped, pushing off against the wall, trying to use the momentum to pull herself over the Wall, to try and get ahead of him. If she succeeded in that, and it was necessary, she would continue to push off the Wall, hopefully slowing him down a bit and sending her in front of him.
  17. GM Away, Lament went! With a step, he was far away. With another even further. Once more, the Lord of Lamentations strode across islands and sea, towards the Commons, towards the great tree, and towards the Elf King. In but moments, he found himself standing by the great tree once more. Did he dare enter, to prove his worth to the Elf King? To bring back his tears? To save the children, and be the hero of the hour? Or would he turn and run, leaving the children to their fate, and the Elf King's eyes as dry as the desert?
  18. I thought I had responded yesterday, sorry! No roll necessary, the hole is not really moving and is rather big. Feel free to describe the effects.
  19. GM The screen flickered to life at Reina's touch. The scrolling data that had been showing all kinds of information about whatever the tablet were tracking disappeared, and the map rapidly zoomed out. A red dot remained at the location at the pair of Claremont students, but now a green dot was shown across the two, rapidly moving towards them, as if the device was tracking something else as well. Whatever the other dot was, it seemed to be approaching fast. They would not have long before it reached them.
  20. Forever Boy Pan smiled, shaking his head as he held the tablet. "Oh no, not at all. I am from Neverworld. I suppose it is in another dimension or reality or something like that. At any rate, it is most assuredly not the Earth, so I do believe I fit under the extraterrestrial grouping. Or perhaps extradimensional?" He had honestly not given it a lot of thought until now. "Still, it all depends on how fine this fellow's tracking equipment is, I suppose. If it can see a distinguish between such minor differences." True, he had not told Reina about Neverworld, had he? He would have to remedy that at some point, when the clock was not ticking quite as much as now. The spaceship crash was interesting, however! Maybe it was Reina that they were tracking after all. "Could you have picked something up from the crash? Something that they could track? As far as I know, the only thing they could be tracking from me would be my Pixie Dust." He waved his arm a bit to demonstrate, some glowing golden dust falling from his hand.
  21. "Hm, what makes this Gatsby so great?" Pan idly wondered, while Zenith plucked strands of light from the air itself. His book was just called "Peter Pan" not "Great Pan". Why did this Gatsby get to be named great? He did not know why, but it somehow stung his pride. It was fascinating to watch as Corinne worked. Pan could play with images, sounds, a touch, a smell, even a taste, but still, it was all just false images. Corinne was actually creating these things. Pulled straight from the air, between her fingers. Without really thinking about it, he moved his arm around her shoulders as she leaned in, holding her close. Anything is possible, as far as I am concerned. Just look at all the wonders of this world, just look at you. As you said, you make the impossible possible. And is that not a wonderful thing, in its own way? So, of course it is possible." He made a slight shrug. "Still, I would like to know how, and perhaps why. There must be some significance, why else would I have ended up in this world?"
  22. Some day soon, Forever Boy will learn that he's not the only one from Neverworld that's come to Earth! And there will be Sky-Pirates following in his wake! So, I'm looking for Claremont characters that could be interested here, preferably, but not limited to, someone that has some sort of relationship with Forever Boy. PL shouldn't matter too much, but preferably PL10-12. My original plan was for 3-4 characters including Forever Boy, but if the number of positive reactions in discord was an indication of the interest, I might figure out a way to run it for more, or do dual threads or something like that.
  23. GM The armored individual was silent. They looked at Pan and Aurora, but the helmet made it impossible to read their expression. "Just a hunter. Doesn't matter. You have something that I want. If those two fools could not get it on their own, then I will come for it myself." There was a moment, then the armored hunter seemed to move. The screen was replaced with static. At least, the armored hunter's intention had been clear. One of them, or perhaps both, had something that the hunter wanted, and they would take it by force, if necessary. So, the question was still on the who, and the what. Perhaps one of the remaining buttons on the tablet held the answer? Or perhaps they should try choosing a better battlefield, if the armored hunter was coming for them.
  24. Forever Boy Pan only had a moment to see the image appear on the screen. Someone in a dark blue armor. And then Reina dropped the tablet. "Oh! Careful now!" He was qucikly by Reina's side, feet on the ground to pick up the tablet and holding it up so that both he and Reina could see the armored individual. "Why, hello! So, what is the plot here? Why send those two men in armor after us?" Reina was not quite forceful enough to ask these questions, it seemed. That just meant that Pan would have to step up, and he was fine with that.
  25. GM Hugin cawed loudly, and bowed. "Then it appears that you know it all. I cannot make the choice for you. But maybe the Elf King himself holds the answer!" It flapped its wings, slowly taking to the sky again. "You have the price in your hands, Duke of Despair! Use it! Make your choice! And good luck!" Suddenly, the raven was gone. Whether it had flown away, or simply disappeared, seemed impossible to tell. Lament was left alone, and he would have to make his choice. Or maybe heed the words of the Grendel's Mother, and sacrifice the children? It was all up to him now.
