  1. Alright, for the sake of keeping things moving: Can I get Initiative rolls from everyone? And with the number of people present, I'll be using the two people being up for acting at once system that was used in Giant Krampus 2.
  2. GM May 8th, 2019 7:15 PM The Doyle Theater The Doyle Theater wasn't exactly a big place, but it was nice and had a certain charm. The place had just two screens, and they were rarely full, even on the best of days, but still, the place made enough money to keep running. The building had once been an actual theater, but about ten years ago it had been converted into its current form. Much of the decor still showed its past, and it was honestly part of its charm. And on this particular evening, Gauss and Forever Boy of Claremont Academy had decided to pay the theater a visit. There was one movie in particular that Gauss been talking about...
  3. Pan grinned widely at Judy. "There are no need to worry!" No Pixie Dust in here, and he had promised that they would not be discovered, so he kept to made sure to stay grounded when Danica reminded him with the quick touch. Yes, yes, stay grounded. He winked at Danica in response. Take flight some other time. Anyway, Judy. "No one will catch us, as we promised." He looked around at the people leaving around them. "SO! What is one supposed to do after seeing the movie?"
  4. GM The woman looked up at Lady Horus. This close, her eyes were clearly all black, swirling and twisting. Like they were filled with ink. She seemed to hesitate, even as ink swirled around her hands. "Yes... the ink is clear." it seemed to be just the right words that Lady Horus had spoken. "But, if you are with God, why did you attack?" She didn't seem to fully believe Lady Horus yet, but she was confused, at least.
  5. Justice: 1d20+8 = 20 Coming up short, too. No need for GM post quite yet, then. @Tiffany Korta, you're up
  6. "Well, that works too, I suppose." Pan couldn't keep from whistling in appreciation of Oz's feat. It was impressive, the very Earth cutting away from the rest and floating up to contain the fungal infection. Well, it was effective, at least. Not really a cure, like he expected burning it away would be, but Oz did better than burning down the entire forest, at least. But then, of course, there was Lorenzo. The one that knew about this. And what was he doing? Grandstanding, playing to his own ego, wanting Pan to not just apologize, but to lick his boots? "No." Pan was firmer in his voice. They needed information, true, but he would not bow to the Black Rose. If anything, this just made him more incensed to figure it out without Lorenzo's involvement. And they had other options. Pan turned to Boddyflock instead. "Captain Boddyflock. What do you know about this Fun Guy? Where did he come from? What do you know of his infection? Can the Fungus be burn?" He had an inkling of an idea. Maybe something that his Pixie Dust could do.
  7. Alright. Pan is a Jack-Of-All-Trades, after all, so let's see if he's picked up some kind of knowledge about fungi, or maybe even fungi that is like this. I guess its a Knowledge [Life Sciences] roll. Anyway, no matter the knowledge needed, its the same roll: 1d20+2 = 10 Eh, doubt it'll amount to much, but let's see!
  8. Justice Robin had been making a point out of visiting Silberman's at least every other week since its opening. After the eventful opening where she had gotten to meet Asad of all people, it had usually been calmer when she had been in now, and she had really grown to like the place. Gretchen, the owner, was pretty awesome, and they had such a huge selection of just about everything. She'd already ended up buying way more than she should, but she still kept coming back. She couldn't resist looking up from the book about the Centurion that she had been looking at when the man ran in. He seemed weird. Proud, sure, but also kinda frantic. Robin could see other people around here looking up at the man's entrance, but she doubted Gretchen would need any help. Still, she should watch.
  9. OOC for this. @Heritage: Here you go
  10. GM May 6th, 2019 4:30 PM SIlberman's Northwest, Emerald City Just another day at Silberman's Northwest! Peace and quiet, with a good number of patrons visiting the store. They were spread pretty evenly around the floors, and all in all. It wasn't a busy day, by any means. Things were rather slow, but there were a constant buzz of talking and questions being asked. Outside the weather was cloudy. Not completely dark, but enough to block out the sun, and according to the weather report, it could begin to rain at any time. A man hurried into the store, carrying a rather large book. It was easily 16 inches tall, and almost as wide. It was thick. Like a phonebook. The cover was old and worn. It had once been black, but it was now greying, and the title all but impossible to make out. The man was bald, with a black, greying goatee. He wore round, thick glasses. You could almost believe he couldn't see through them. His jeans were torn at the knees, his grey sweater had probably seen better days. "Excuse me!" he loudly announced, holding up the book. "Where is the owner! I have a great find to show him! The find of the decade!"
  11. Justice "That's just what I've been thinking! Only, I've really been thinking about it. Everywhere else seemed to have at least a local hero or two, but not Emerald." She felt herself blushing a bit at the Emerald Spider's compliment. Yeah, it was great. The city did need more heroes, didn't it? "It's kind of been my dream since I was a kid. Been doing my best, at least, but I haven't really run into anyone else until now." She paused and grimaced for a moment. "Well... I did run into a guy that called himself the Gas Man a while ago, but I wouldn't really call him a hero." Robin fell silent for a moment. She hadn't really done something like this before. It seemed kind of rude to assume that she would just know more about what was going on than the Emerald Spider. "So, uh, you've been doing this for a while now, right? Ever see anything like this before, with people just randomly disappearing?"
  12. @Tiffany Korta How about that notice check at DC25?
  13. Coming right up: 1d20+12 = 31
  14. "No no no! Don't blow the place yet!" One shot, one bot down. C'mon, this should be easy, right? One shot, one killbot down, but there were tons of them all around them, right? Could they stop them all? Without blowing everything up at least? Wait, they were powering on from something, they weren't ready yet... and the transfer wasn't either. There had to be something around here that could be used to shut down the power. "C'mon, you'll blow up the entire city. What'll happen to your friend then?" Look around, find something, anything that she could try to point Jones at. Get him to smash something useful.
  15. Right, they're all being powered, and there's the whole thing with the bad energy that we wanna shut down, so Justice's gonna do a Search to try and locate an energy source for the bots, and with some luck, it'll be related to the energy she want shut down. 1d20+8 = 20 Hopefully that'll turn up something useful. Also, how many killbots are we talking?
  16. GM The leader was clearly starting to have doubts about the entire situation, even if the other gunmen weren't. "It's easy!" the gunman above, with the hostage, interrupted again. "Give us the money! Don't make it more complicated than it need to be!" He pushed the gun in his hand against the back of the gentleman's neck. "Shut up! Just shut up and put that gun away!" The leader was an explosion of anger. All of a sudden, he didn't even seem to care about Captain Cosmos, only having eyes for the other gunman. "Nobody gets hurt! That was the deal! This is going all to hell anyway, nothing working out like it was supposed to! The money's not coming in! They're not keeping the deal! You want to end up in prison the rest of your life? Is that it!?"
  17. 1 squid is gone, the remaining 4 are trying to get past you!
  18. GM The squids seemed to be panicking as Aquaria moved towards the door and started attacking it. They moved, but hesitated, backing away as the odd energy of the eldritch energy burned into the doorway. All but one, at least. The moment that Aquaria kicked at the door, one of the squid moved through what appeared to be a secret entrance at the side of the room. It closed instantly behind it, while Aquaria's kick proved more than strong enough to break the door down. The four remaining squid scrambled, swimming to quickly try and make their way past the heroes and into the next room of the crashed spaceship, but Aquaria was blocking the door, and both the Sea Devil and Asad were in the way. The next room were dark, a hallway splitting into two, with options to go left or right, with the paths curcing slightly, probably moving around the circumference of the ship. It would be hard to make out any colors of the room, but it appeared to be made out of dull blues and greens.
  19. Cultist 1 is fully visible, just trying to move away from the action, all the way over in the corner. Having a vampire jumping at you will do that.

  21. "Amazing! Are theme parks truly like that? I must visit one some day!" Yes, yes! It had been very exciting! That huge screen! Pan never knew they came so big! And oh, the food! Oh the food! If Pan ever managed to return to Neverworld, he simply had to bring so much food with him! "And I had no idea they even made screens this big!" He was standing now, gesticulating wildly towards the huge screen before them. He was almost floating. Pixie Dust glowed from his feet, leaving a slight trail under him as he moved in front of his seat for a moment, before disappearing. He had to remember to stay grounded. No flying, not when out and about like this. If not for himself, then for the others, at least.
  22. Oh no. Oh no no no. This was not good. The Fun Guy might be held in the binding bands, but the fungus was flowing freely from him, into the ground and threatening to escape into this world. "Oswald! Fire, now! All around the Fun Guy, if you would!" Pan was barking orders now. He did not like to do so, he was no leader, as far as he was concerned, but they needed to act first and stop this infection, before it spread to the world around them. But, they had other options, did they not? Others that could do something to help, if they would be so inclined? "Enough, Lorenzo! How about showing me what you can do, instead of just professing yourself as a mighty mage? Prove it, then! Show us what you can do about something like this! You know more about the fungus than any of us, after all!"
  23. "Yep, no reason to hurt anyone, so let's try shutting everything down first aaaaand crap." Robin was stopped in her trail as the killbots around the room started making noises and telling them that the emergency security protocol was being activated. Great, just great. They'd taken too long. This really wasn't Robin's day for computers, but at least they hadn't blown up some kind of unstable energy. Yet. She needed that data. It might be what she needed to help Anna, after all. Study it in peace and quiet at some point. A quick look over at the progress bar confirmed that it was about halfway done, moving swiftly. A minute or so, maybe less. Grabbing the Justice Buster from the table where she had placed it, Robin quickly took aim at the nearest one. Take it down, stop them all. Give Jones a chance to let loose a bit too, maybe. "Hey, smashing robots are cool with me! Let loose, man!" She pulled the trigger, taking a shot.
  24. Justice's gonna take a shot at the nearest killbot! Gotta keep the transfer safe before blowing everything up! Attack: 1d20+11 = 23 DC20 Toughness for the bot, if it hits. And if necessary: Initiative: 1d20+2 = 8 Justice needs some improved initiative...
