  1. OOC for this. @Heritage, @Spacefurry Give me some Initiative rolls, so we got those ready and out of the way.
  2. GM Wading Way, Freedom City November 22nd, 2020 3:00 PM The outside of a bank almost exploded as man in a golden battlesuit smashed through the windows, a large briefcase in his hand. He landed heavily on the pavement, looking up at the people on the street around him, quickly followed by a trio of people in silver colored battlesuits, all holding heavy suitcases of their own. The battlesuits appeared to be inspired by medieval knights armors, aside from the helmet of the golden one, at least, which sported a large red eye in the center of the helmet, which otherwise had no features. "We got the gold boss, now what?" One of the men in silver armor asked, drawing a groan of irritation from the man in the golden armor. "Then we run you idiot! Back to the headquarters, like we planned!" With sirens wailing in the distance, all four took off from the ground, heading through the city with powerful boot jets.
  3. Pirates Initiative: 23 There's a ship above. There's 4 pirates on the ground that's appeared from the cannonballs, and the cannonballs are still glowing. Anyone that went with Pan on the trip to the Danger Research Facility in Spring 2019 (or have been told about that or the cannonballs by Pan or anyone on that trip) might remember that these cannonballs work as portals and will keep bringing in more pirates until they're destroyed. @KnightDisciple is up 28 - Thunderbird - 2HP - Unharmed 25 - Forever Boy - 6HP - Unharmed 23 - Angelik - 3HP - Unharmed 23 - Sky Pirates 14 - Crystal-Gazer - 2HP - Unharmed
  4. GM The flying ship approached fast, heading straight towards the theater. As it came closer, the group could see pirates hanging off the ship, dressed in a weird anachronistic combination of what you would expect a classic pirate overlapped with strange patterns and lines and modern military wear with designs not entirely unlike Pan's uniform. Their yells and cheers could be heard as the ship turned hard, quickly firing their cannons. A pair of cannonballs flew through the air, leaving faint sickly green trails behind before they slammed into the ground near the entrance to the mall. They slammed into the ground, but caused little damage. Then they opened up, glowing with a sickly green light. In seconds, pirates began to appear from the glowing, rushing towards the mall's entrance. Or rather, towards Pan.
  5. That's a hit. TOU: 21 Since he is a minion and failed the Toughness Save, he is knocked out. Give me an IC post. And you don't have to wait for me to respond to OOC posts before writing an IC post, go ahead with everything up until actually hitting with a strike or actually succeeding or failing.
  6. Well, give me an IC! Backup will arrive Initiative 31 next round
  7. GM Quirk looked outright offended. "Never heard of me? What do they teach in that fancy super hero school, if nobody teaches you about Quirk?" His face lit up in a grin again at Spaceman's explanation, and he made a quick bow. "And its good to see you again too, Spaceman!" He shook his head, holding his hands up, then pointed at the kids. "They're the players, and you", his finger appeared right in front of Nightscale, before reappearing on his hand "are the pieces! You'll go where the dice tell you to go! So let's get going, winner takes all!"
  8. Roll 1d6 for how far you go, and give me an IC!
  9. Spaceman "He's probably already told you, but his name is Quirk." Spaceman was crossing his arms in front of his chest now, looking at the amused youngster with an annoyed expression. "He's pretty much omnipotent. Whatever he wants to do, he can do. Like this." He paused to gesture around them, at the large board. "You can't fight him. You have to win the game or outwit him, but at least he plays by his own rules." He looked to Quirk and the kids. "Don't worry kids, we'll get all of us out of here and back where we belong. Its just a big game, Quirk isn't going to hurt you, and we're here to protect you." Finally, he looked at Shift and Nightscale, smiling briefly and nodding to each. "I'm Spaceman. Don't worry if you haven't heard about me, I'm probably from before your time." Another brief pause, while he looked at Quirk, then back to the teens. "We have to work together if we're going to get out of here, but for now, just play along. What can the two of you do?"
  10. Pan leaned closer as the propaganda video played, a look of awe in his eyes. "Freedom and adventure?" he asked. "Where do we sign up?" He sounded genuine, at least, but then grew silent for a moment when Lon approached and talked to them, his lips splitting into his just slightly too wide grin. "A deal, you say?" If Pan knew what Lon refered to with Judy, then he didn't let it show. "And what do you find interesting, then?"
  11. Gonna try to get a thread up for Shift and Chimera this week.
  12. Alright, whoever wanna go next, go ahead! Rolling for Charlie, with +4 memory bonus: 25
  13. Haven't made any choices yet, not doing first come first serve. Who would you be interested in getting in there, @Spacefurry? You still haven't introduced Chimera yet, have you?
  14. Forever Boy Pan had seemed to enjoy himself during the movie, seated between Eira and Micah, excitedly motioning with his hands and having to be pulled down a few times at a particularly exciting scene. As they left the mall, he was helding his hands out, slowly stretching them out to the sides to show how the Crocodile in the movie had been much too small. "See, the Crocodile is a great beast, not some scaly lizard! It was much, much too small! If it were to get its fangs into the Hooked Man, all of him would be gone, not just his hand!" Tinkerbell in the movie had been tiny, but fierce. A blonde haired woman with wings clad in green, the source of Peter Pan's flight, the one that taught Wendy to swordfight... and perhaps Pan's friends would notice how he had made sure not to mention her at all. Or perhaps they were, like him, stunned at the sight of the flying ship approaching from above. "Oh." For a brief second, Pan seemed crestfallen. Then his face lit up into a giant grin. "Sky Pirates!"
  15. Roll for the Disable Device, Stealth for the sneaking, and then an attack roll for the attack, and let me know what you use to attack.
  16. OOC for this. @Heritage, @KnightDisciple, @Avenger Assembled let's see some Initiative rolls and a round of posts before combat starts. You will all be able to spot the ship, so no need to roll for that.
  17. GM Millenium Mall, Midtown, Freedom City Early June, 2021 10:34 PM The sky was clear and dark above Freedom City on this particular night. The half moon shone among the stars, illuminating the night. Micah had been the one to first catch the news of a new movie coming out for the summer season, and he had suggested to Pan they should see it. Pan had brought Eira, and Eira had brought Lulu. The movie's title was "The Forever Boy". It was yet another retelling of the story of Peter Pan, and of course, they had to see it. It had all been very exciting, dark and gritty. A boy abandoned in Victorian London, found by Fae and whisked away to Neverland, flying and fighting pirates in great flying pirate ships, joined by Wendy and her family. Spectacular, visually impressive, but it didn't offer much new to the story. The climatic final scene had Peter Pan and Wendy teaming up to fight Captain Hook as his flying ship sailed across the sky above London, almost colliding with Big Ben, Tower Bridge and other sights along the way. As they left the mall, Pan was talking excitedly about it, holding hands apart while he mentioned how something was much smaller in real life. And above, in front of the glow of the half moon, a pirate ship sailed through the sky, towards the Millenium Mall.

  19. Initiative: 13 Well, that was a bad roll, but oh well. Sweet, sweet HP.
  20. The secret, true works of H.C.Andersen grant super powers! He hid them across the world, to bring hope and heroes to everyone, everywhere, but now someone is out to try and find them all, starting with one hidden in Freedom City. As it just so happens, Mette Madsen, the second Little Mermaid, is in Freedom City to see the sights at Christmas, and of course she's going to end up in the thick of it, but she could use some help! This will be a globetrotting fairy tale adventure that takes place during December. I'm looking for 2 characters, preferably from PL10 to PL12, but I can work with lower, to team up with the Little Mermaid to save Christmas from fairy tales being used for evil.
  21. His hand in Eira's, Pan was standing up straight while the headmistress grumbled about being woken up by a couple of students that had come to confess to sneaking out during the night to watch the lightning, when he realized something. But oh well. Micah would hopefully be done by now. Before Micah could respond to Ashley, the shirt he had been wearing disappeared, fading away between the blink of eyes.
