  1. "Yeah, um sorry. Can't control the cravings." She said, almost looking agitated as if she was about to begin chewing on the walls. Which, admittedly, is something she could be easily capable of. Digesting them remain the issue but who knows how exactly her alterered metabolism function. She idly stands there, eagerly waiting for the others to get ready to move on to something else. Yet again, her stomach growled. "Anyway! Cafeteria time!" shouts out the girl, more than hungry by now.
  2. G-Force and Cho are roomates, you may want to add that.
  3. With a loud noise, a police car crashed into a nearby building. Fortunately it seems the car was empty or this could have ended up very, very messy. Assembled around a bank, policemen are trying to contain the damage. Four people, seemingly members of some local gang, wearing gaudy masks, are currently busy ravaging the ranks of the police in a display of powers right outside a local bank. Well isn't that just your typical scene in the city, isn't it? "They're tearing us apart!" yells a rookie policeman. "Somebody call b-backup! Or the Freedom League, I don't know, something!" With a wave of his hand, one of the thug shoots out a bolt of lightning, startling the rookie once more. All the while, civillians are busy running away from the scene in terror as the thugs continue their seemingly random rampage.
  4. Message sent to player to discuss edit request - Thevshi Cho Paige Lee As it turns out, Cho does have a Kryptonite factor. Adding in the following Drawbacks; Power Loss, Impervious Toughness (Daka crystals, Frequency: Uncommon [-1]) [-1 PP] Weakness (Daka crystals, Frequency: Uncommon [-1], Intensity: Moderate [-1], Cumulative -1 to all checks per round [-4]) [-6 PP] Using those 7pts+points from drawbacks to buy; Quick Change [+1] Regeneration 13 (Recovery Bonus 9, Ability Damage 3 [20 Minutes], Staggered 1 [20 Minutes]) [+13]
  5. Silver Magus' suit whirred once more as he wobbled around, adjusting himself, being temporarily knocked almost off-balance by the sudden change and finding himself on the ground once more. A moment ago, he was looking at the machine, most likely a time machine of some sort. Before he even had the time to figure out what the machine was or how it could have possibly worked, they had found themselves seemingly displaced. It seems they really had been too late after all. There was something about the scene that was off. He turned his head, assesing his surroundings with his suit's primitive HUD, whose entire function was solely to assist spellcasting. Looking at the television, the armored sorcerer winced. "Oh no." finally said the man, hoping this was one big misunderstanding and not what he was looking at.
  6. "Once, there was paradise; order and stillness. We shall bring it back to the universe." -Warriors of Stilness oath. The multiverse can be seen as a chaotic place. There is just so much to it that does not make sense in the grand scheme of things. So many confusing detail and contradictory details. So much madness, so many strange beings who all contribute to it's confusing nature. Somewhere, deep within the cosmic coil, lies people who wish to see that change. They have been called many things; saviors, destroyers, or conquerors. They are the Warriors of Stillness. History & Beliefs: No one knows where the Warriors of Stillness come from. What is known about them is what they currently are; The Warriors are not a single race. They are an empire built on an idea. Warriors of Stillness spends most of their time moving between dimensions, in endless warfare and conquest, travelling in ships capable of moving across both dimensions and space. When entering a new world, the warriors will observe and evaluate. It may take them centuries or millenia and they might even leave for now but one day they will begin their conquest, for no world has ever been pure enough in their eyes. To them, the multiverse is chaos, filled with too many contradictions. The true form of perfection is stillness As such, the Warriors of Stillness seek to conquer and subjugate everything inside the multiverse and bring it under their will. One could see their goal as simple conquest but to them it is a complex and irrefutable truth, with subtleties others can never hope to grasp. Aiding the Warriors in their task is the fact that, in many realities that suffered greatly at the hands of superpowered beings, they appear as saviors, restoring the rightful balance to the universe. There is some partial truth to this, since the Warriors primarily target Netherworlds and the like first. The Warriors are prolific recruiters. In their ranks are countless master orators, able to stir the masses to willingly join them. For the rest, there is thought-scrubbing. As part of their great design for a newly ordered universe, all sentient life must be processed and altered. All Warriors known to exist have been subjected to such surgical and metaphysical alterations, giving them increase mental and physical fortitude as well as expanded lifespans. In the end it does not matter if the subject is willing or not, as once completed he or she will fully embrace the mentality of the Warriors. Goals: The Warriors of Stillness seek nothing less than the complete and utter rewriting of the multiverse to suit their vision of perfection and they are willing to reshape the very multiverse by hand, sword or cosmic doomsday device if it is required. In the process, they intend to bend everyone and everything to their will in order to further achieve said goal of perfection. Homeworld: Their homeworld and stronghold is Aionus, a world that is said to have been 'plucked' out of the cosmic coil. There is only one Aionus, there are no duplicate of it from other universes. Because of this, their homeworld can be moved to anywhere in the multiverse, which is no easy feat and is only done in the final stage of their largest invasions. Their homeworld will then remain for centuries in that universe and more. In fact, it might never have to move again. In order to fuel their war effort, there have been times when the Warriors have stripped bare entire planets of their ressources. A non-negligeable amount of these ressources have gone into the expansion and constant reconstruction of Aionus. as the planet requires ever larger factories, barracks and massive void-cannons and tranportation devices the size of mountains. Such is the size of their constructions that buildings have been known to be built over entire continents. As such, Aionus is now a mostly artificial world, one of spiraling structures, both beautiful and hideous in their cold and brutal simplicity. To look upon Aionus is to see the coldness and unfeeling detachment of order, reducing everything to raw materials in order to contruct more and more in the hope of achieving a perfect order.
  7. “So you went to Claremont yesterday and you’re back already?†asked John, Cho’s stepfather. Grumbling, she replied; “What? You don’t want me around? Afraid I’ll cause you shame?†“That isn’t it at all, Cho, can you please stop with that? It’s just I was expecting them to keep you for a few days. Figure out what’s wrong with you and--†The man gets cut off as Cho furiously storms off ahead, trying not to have her rage reach a boiling point. There’s no need for her to explode on her stepfather’s face, especially not in front of the rest of her family, namely her mother and younger half-sister. “I think you’ve pissed sis off.†hushed out Naomi, Cho’s sister, fully aware of what was going on and how her father may have been innocently insensitive and insulting toward the teenager. The three of them continued, with Cho ahead. It was a good day, some nice snow and some things to see, hopefully. Assuming family drama would not ruin the day again.
  8. Cho raise a finger, surprised and perhaps outright confused at the whole 'conquering your neighbors room' thing. "I...uh...buh.." She basically blurts out, losing words at the absurdity of it all as soon as they try to exit her mouth, her flips just flapping around there blurting out incoherent sounds. Her brain freezes for a moment and then reboot after a second, as she blink. Better not ask question. "Oookay, nevermind, I'm not going to ask questions." She finally says, just accepting the sheer bizarreness of her situation. "So, cafeteria as soon as we're done? I'm a little worried I'll start eating the furniture if I start to starve." For all they know, she might actually be serious on the matter!
  9. http://orokos.com/roll/160881 I'm blasting that door open. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
  10. "Well I suppose we COULD. Or..." He took a moment to think. Was there any way around the situation? Likely not, as the house was blocked from outside tampering. No possible way of knowing what was inside it. No way to teleport inside. "No, it's just a door, surely there's nothing wrong with breaking it. If the situation call for it, then so be it." Raising a silvered, armored gauntlet the sorcerer began to incantate. Around his finger, the air rippled and then crackled with static electricity. From the tip of his finger, a bolt of lightning erupted from his metallic finger and toward the door, striking it at full force with a loud, powerful thundering noise.
  11. "Yeah well maybe it's easier for you. It isn't for me. Anyway sorry the whole plebeian ramble when I said it wouldn't be entirely about me. Hm, guess I just don't really have much people to talk about it. I mean, it's a whole other world out there full of aliens, monsters...um...mutants and demons. Right?" The only thing Cho could do after letting all that out was a big sigh. However, things didn't exactly go as planned or intended as the exhaling of air proved far stronger than intended as it blew the table and the teacups away. It seems that was either something new she could do or that she accidentally stumbled on another use of her powers. "Oops. Oh, sorry I'm...sorry!" Then said the girl, covering her mouth while looking at the scene with oversized eyes of shock and surprise. "That never hapenned before!"
  12. Basically, I'm stunting the super breath feat with a hero point. I suppose you wouldn't mind if I keep it until there's some action going on? If not I'll just spend another hero point.
  13. Cho Paige Lee Corliss the Cursed Inside the darkened room, the chained demon stirred, in vain. These blessed chains made sure that the creature could not break free by power alone. Maybe a stronger, more potent demon could but not that simplistic beast. Nothing more than a flunkie, a warrior demon trapped inside a circle and bound by chains. The figured in front of it walked around the room, dragging it’s massive sword along the floor, causing sparks to fly. “So, what’s it going to be?†she ask. “Are you going to answer or do I have to cut off your head like the last demon?†“AS IF I WOULD ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS, CAMBION!†roared the beast, as if chuckled. Shaking her head, Corliss lifted the sword like it was nothing and rested it on her shoulders. That thing was massive, easily almost the length of a grown man and to her it weighed nothing. “Beside, what are you going to do? Most of your powers are useless on me, as given by the King of Hell himself, they have no power over demons. Try to roast me with hellfire and I will laugh!†Once more, the ugly creature chuckled. However, the creature found itself started as the massive blade rested on it’s throat. “Give me a name, NOW!†she herself roared out as her eyes glowed and markings appeared on her flesh, hellfire flaring around her. Even her appearance began to distort. “Now that’s more like it, wench. Very well then; I don’t know the one you are looking for but I do know someone you might.†The creature laughed. “How long are you going to keep this foolish battle? You belong to us. You are one of us. Do not be as foolish as to pretend you are some squire or even some knight of the kingdom in-making. You will always be one of us, mooncalf.†Leaving behind her current hideout (and the remains of the demon), the young warrior would-be demon slayer continued. carrying nothing but her armor and sword. She wouldn’t rest until she found that specific demon. The words of the last demon echoed in her head, once more. How she was one of them. And, indeed, in a way she was. Her father has made an accursed pact, selling his soul for power. Unfortunately, that was the least he had done. The demon wanted a vessel, a champion for his master into this world so her father sold not only his soul but also his unborn child. However, things had not gone has planned for the demons. The girl turned out to still be human in mind and soul. No matter how cursed the blood in her vein, it could not extinguish things such as valor or compassion. And so was born yet another defender of New Camelot. The door found itself ripped from it’s hinge as Corliss walked into the demon’s lair, a dark place where it hid from the light of the sun and god’s wrath. “Well, you found me.†said the creature, sipping what she was hoping was merely wine. “I suppose you are saving ME the trouble of finding YOU.†“Enough talk, fiend. I wish to know which demon my father has made a pact with and you will tell me or I will smite you.†proclaimed Corliss, to which the creature only smiled. “You are thick-headed, child. Do you not see how futile your battle is? Why do you fight us so? You could be a champion for us and have anything you desire. Well that is assuming you please our master. Still, I have to ask you, what do these petty, foolish mortals have to offer you that we can’t?†“I would rather serve in heaven than rule in hell for I am not a monster like you.†Drawing forth her blade, she was going to defend her place on earth as a human and as a defender of the just at any cost. For it was what she believed her place in the universe to be.
  14. So, for those who passed (TNTeen, still waiting on TheAbsurdist to roll); You know that there's been a serious increase in crime in several places around the West End and that a local gang has seemingly gotten more and more aggressive and audacious. Police hasn't cracked them down yet and neither has any super. Of course, they aren't a very big gang. They just got really aggressive and confident lately. There are rumours they might have some superpowered goons. Probably not hired muscle because there's no way such low-life hooligans could ever have the money to hire a super-powered enforcer. Or even somehow pay someone to get powers, assuming your character is aware of such ways of gaining powers.
  15. By the way, first chance Cho gets once (if?) we're in combat, assuming Cho is in range she'll try to use Interpose. Even if Glamazon is tougher than Cho, it's purely out of instinct, she'll try to take the blow.
  16. "Mine got shot. At random it...well, it just hapenned like that. It wasn't some mad supercriminal out for revenge, it wasn't some ancient evil there to bend the world to it's will. Just some random punks while he was out to get milk or something. Just like that." She gesture and imitate a gun with her hand, making a 'bang' noise, before sadly looking down at the tea. "At least, that's what I got told." She didn't seem to mind discussing it but it was clear it was rather painful. "I wish I could say my life was something impressive. Nope, just a single mom remarrying, having another kid and me constantly arguing with a stepfather. And then, you know, superpowers happen so the first thing someone like me think is 'well, gotta put them to use because that's what the real heroes would do, right?'" Another sigh, followed by a sip. "It's not really all that wonderful. It's not that they hate people flying around in suits that looks like pajama, heck, my mother's a Terminus invasion survivor. I don't think she's in any position to complain about superheroes. Look I don't know, maybe where you come from it's expected for people to bravely charge and risk their lives but I guess that's not the mindset my mother and stepfather have." With that out of the way, she exhale, relieved. "I'd feel terrible for disobeying but I really WANT to. I know I wouldn't be able to sit and watch people getting hurt. Beside what do you want me to do? I don't really have abilities that are, um, well useful for a desk job. I mean, if I was super fast at least it would make me good at filing paperwork!" With that, she smiled a bit and began chuckling, half amused, half sad.
  17. "Um." Cho eventually order something that's more to her tastes. "So, I take it you like water a lot! Right?" She says, trying to (poorly) engage in the conversation. "Bleh, that was a terrible thing to say." Shaking her head, she deep down knew how horrible and utterly silly that all sounded. Not exactly the best way to have a conversation and hopefully patch things up. "My mother doesn't really want me to do the whole 'superhero' thing." she finally admit, while drinking some of the tea, which she would find too hot if not for the fact heat doesn't really bother her all that much anymore. ."That's why I wasn't sure if I fitted in at Claremont. You got your responsabilities and, well, I got mines."
  18. "I'm afraid the trail, from a magical point of view, is unfortunately completely cold already." Returning the gesture. Silver Magus opened the faceplate of his armor, the airtight locks of the helmet disengaging and the front of the helmet sliding open. "Still, there might be a few options left for us." he explained. "Not all hope is lost, I'm certain. These options just might, unfortunately, either not work or be a bit of a shot in the dark. I could scry the nearby areas but that would take time and there is no guarantee they are evil still in the area. Of course, they showed up on horseback which would imply they aren't that far." It seemed the man had a certain habit of rambling to himself or thinking out loud. Still, maybe his reasoning was going somewhere. "I don't suppose any of you know how to spot and follow horse tracks in the wilderness?"
  19. OOC for this. Can you guys gve me either a Gather Information or Knowledge - Streetwise before we start? Also, assume your characters are doing whatever would be appropriate for them to be doing in that part of town.
  20. Saturday January 18th 2014 West End 10:30 am Just another day in the city, in particular the West End. People minding their own business is what's going on, nothing out of the ordinary. However, there's a certain air of tension filling the normally far more lively and pleasant neighborhood. As if something had been brewing slowly in the last few weeks or even months. A sharp eye could notice there had been some degradations in a few places around the West End, that in some places the neighborhood had turned a little more intimidating or even dangerous. Noises fill the air as police cars pass by in the street, their sirens blaring. Something is going on, that’s for sure.
  21. "Hey! I'll order something when I decide!" she barks out. "Anyway, it's more that I was worried I'd start a war with Atlantis because I called you a stinking fish or something. I don't really remember what I said. It was a spur of the moment taunt!" One followed by a fortunately-dodged bolt of entropy. Cho had no idea what exactly it would do to a living being, having only use it on objects or robots. The girl crack her neck. "Well, at least it was um, something. I didn't really had much of a chance to actually test what I can do without risking breaking everything around me. It's not as fun as it sound." Pausing, she looks around the place once more. "Don't worry, I'm not going to ramble only about me. So, anything they serve here that's good?"

    The Lab

Silver Magus could contribute to the lab.
  25. "One moment." Once more, Silver Magus repeat his incantation as he stays in the back, preferably somewhere shady, as his mystically project his senses inside the house, to see what could possibly lie inside. In yet another flash, his vision once more became blurred as he found himself propelled ahead, as if out of his body, or at the very least his senses were, being projected outward, everything turning to smoke and haze for a brief moment. If he had the chance to be honest, Kyle would admit it makes him feel rather sick and dizzy, lacking in practice with this spell.
