  1. Past hour
  2. Predator Predator caught the captain as he collapsed. She believed him when he said the pilots were okay, but he was most assuredly not. It was obvious the mission had been compromised. But, to what extent? That would have to wait, she needed to help the officer. She easily hopped back into the plane and carefully laid him down. A quick glance around and she found the first-aid kit. It was basic but it would do. A quick search of the man also netted her his own standard issued bandage kit. She knew better than to just yank the shard out. It didn’t seem to have passed through completely. Opening her helmet and disengaging the filters she sniffed the area. The lack of foul smells gave her hope that the wound had miraculously avoided the intestines. She should have time. “I apologize sir, this may hurt.” She offered the man solemnly, then opened a small bottle of antiseptic. Quickly she attempted to clean the wound some, before using several bandages to cover it around the debris. Scooping the captain up she exited the plane. “Cynthia. Put me in contact with the control tower.” “Yes ma’am.” There was a short pause from the computer as Predator began to run as fast as she dared with her passenger. “Connected.” Cynthia spoke again. “Control! This is military flight Foxtrot, Kilo, Delta, Niner. Plane is down. Pilots alive but incapacitated, still onboard. I have one serious wounded, coming to you. Please ready emergency personnel and/or redirect to nearest emergency services.”
  3. Gen Sparks is going to let you hit! Unfortunately as he is pure lightning now (Insubstantial 3) he is immune to physical attacks, and further more you suffer a Damage 8 effect from his lightning aura, @MoonSimply:( Could you post that IC and then Daniel is up, @Dracostern
  4. Shooting Star Alice took half a step forward when the red capped creature appeared behind Steel Shade, but hesitated before her reflexes could kick in and instead of interposing herself between them just watched as the Gremlins reject stabbed her brother. Her jaw creaked from clenching it, trying not to let it show how seeing him hurt upset her when the rest appeared. Truly masters of negotiation this lot. The other two heroes each responded in their own way, Big Red by... spouting a worker's creed or something, the more interesting in one was the guy who clearly knew what they were up against. Still, she couldn't resist a quip. "Hey! You lot are trying to rob what they've rightfully stolen!"
  5. Today
  6. Paper The door never stood a chance. Sue burst through them like an unstoppable battering ram. It had served its purpose to focus attention on him while Like snuck in from above. From atop the paper-predator Paper took in the scene. It was like something out of a B-movie. Behind a desk at the center a man sat. A man he recognized as Alice’s older brother. But the way he was dressed raised even more questions. Aaron knew who he was before he could say anything himself. Wordlessly, he hopped down off the construct. Reaching up he pulled off the white paper face mask and regarded him. He figured Like was here too, but didn’t know where. Leo. Needed to keep him focused on him. “How did you know?” He asked as he reached out with his senses again. He’d been wrong, Aaron seemed to be alone but the money was still there.
  7. Puma will jump into action and.... score low with a 15 (41 for the Light Blindness miss chance).
  8. @Nerdzul looks like you got in a post last time you were up. I’m always willing to wait if needed. Or, I can GM it if you really want me to.
  9. Btw I haven't posted IC I think, sorry, but I noticed that my OOC post wasn't saying much, my idea was that Luke will just keep going like the round before trying to get the vampire KO (toughness save has the same difficulty so still 24).
  10. Luke nodded as his friend suggested they split up. Now, doing so ran contrary pretty much to every movie he had seen ever, when jumping into a trap, but then again, this was the real world after all. "Roger Roger..." He chuckled. As quietly as he could, he darted inside, but was quickly welcomed by a figure that was very much aware of their presence. Someone familiar, albeit unexpectedly so. He was about to reveal himself and offer Aaron (that was now a supervillain?) some snide remark and yet, if he was asking Leon about him, perhaps the man was not aware of his presence and it was better to keep it concealed, for now, in case thing escalated. So instead he just waited in the dark, listening to what the man had to say. From all the theatrics, my bet is, nothing pleasant...
  11. Right, attack and grapple are the initial action. Next round you can choose to do damage. May bad. @Avenger Assembled you ca post IC when you have a chance. Wildchild will spend her turn shaking off her daze the monster will roll to try clearing the dazzle. Fort: 23 Which I believe succeeds other then that she pulls uselessly against SD. I’ll get a post up after you, then it’ll be Diamondlight’s turn
  12. Predator Predator watched as the alien soldier dropped their weapon and backed away. She relaxed he own stance and nodded in acknowledgment as she took a step back to show acceptance of the ‘cease-fire’. The armored hero moved to rejoin the others, noting the sentiment was shared by the rest of the alien force. “Well, it would seem that sensibility has been reached.” Predator came to stand beside Fleur. She regarded the leader, Sovereign. “What will you do with him?” The question obviously directed at Paradigm and Star Khan. “I would assume your own claim for justice supersedes our own.” The polished helmet looks up at the taller heroes.
  13. Predator Predator nodded as the nurse mentioned the body having been moved to the morgue. She shook her head though as the woman blamed herself. “You had no way to know. Just focus on keeping these people safe until we can clear the area and you can be extracted.” “His records might hold a clue. If it mentions where he was found it would prove a sensible starting point. Any biometrics or evidence found on him.” Predator regards the nurse. “The apparel he arrived in, do you know if it was already disposed of or was it processed as possible evidence for the police?”
  14. Blackstaff Blackstaff watched the quartet as they stopped to consider the heroes. Suddenly, goblins sprang from hiding, and he swore. Not just goblins, but redcaps as well. Goblins were bothersome, but the redcaps could be just murderous… at best. They could push their less hostile cousins to more violence. He chanced a glance at the shorter man in the red shirt. Well, his sentiment seemed to be in the right. He slowly turned his head to scan his flanks and back. Almost two dozen that he could count. “You shouldn’t be up here.” The wizard addressed the goblins and caps, knowing better than to try correcting their demand. They meant what they said. “Leave now, and I promise none will follow.” Blackstaff tried to sound authoritative, and totally not worried. They were smaller, but if they swarmed…
  15. "Ah! Get back!" Dwayne yelled. "Who are the Metalloids? Are there more of you!?" He tried to chase after the cresture, this time doing his best to not slip and hurt himself, even if it meant going slower. If there were more of them, if the monorail was aggressively electeified, that could be quite bad. He needed to stop this creature, and find these other 'Metalloids'. The best thing to do was probably trying to keep a close eye on this metalloid and keep him busy. "Please tell me more about your Metalloid allies. If we're going to have fun, surely they should also be here?"
  16. Yesterday
  17. I don't recall, does she have an action still? If not she's just gonna hold it helpless, if she does she's gonna start pulling off its head.
  18. Neko Musume Wondering if she would ever be free of war, Neko made a declaration, holding her lunar necklace high. "<He comes! Gashi gashi HE COMES!>" That was the thing about war, you see. Wars make people dead, and the dead remember. Power crackled from her necklace and across her body, then into the air, taking an unholy form as the air around them rattled with the groans and cries of the unquiet dead - of which there were now a great many. Was Bernadette's soul among them? It was hard to tell. Still standing by the manhole cover she and Owain had pulled open for the benefit of any fleeing refugees, Neko laughed in a high kekekeke sound as a gigantic, building-sized skeleton formed above her, its bones dripping with rotting flesh, its teeth rattling in its gigantic head. "<Give me flesh!>" it bellowed in Japanese, towering as high as the nearby wrecked buildings, the biggest moving thing visible to anyone. Familiar with this plan, Owain went on the defense, running around and around Neko in an anxious circle.
  19. Neko stunts the following effect: Summon Minion 8 (gashadokuro, Extra: Duration [Continuous]) and spends a fatigue to cancel the effect. https://web.archive.org/web/20140722081614/http://www.atomicthinktank.com/viewtopic.php?p=376750#p376750 Here's a build for it if you like - if you don't like this, just say it's a PL 8 powerhouse with max tradeoffs for Damage and Toughness. (I have no strong feelings either way.) It goes on 10 = https://orokos.com/roll/1011944. Copper Knight prepares to interpose - or at least block, any effects the drones pull towards Neko.
  20. GM "Why?" asked the Metal man, his little legs running frantically in mid-air. "Why, because its metal! I like metal. Us Metalloids do. You have so little metal in this place, but its awfully fun to play with. Look at all the fun we are having," he giggled. The metal men started melting, dripping right out of Dwayne's hand, reforming in a crouch on the monorail itself. "Wouldn't it be fun if we electrocified this? Shocking! I am sure I saw the power generator earlier. So primitive.. but effective! Yippee!" With another wide grin that threatened to split his face, the metal man shot away again, pounding across the monorail like a bullet.
  21. The Galloping Ghost grabbed the little metal man with a whickering neigh, holding him off the metal of the monorail line to try and keep him from running away again. The horse let out a loud nicker, whinnying loudly. He was saying something, but it took a moment for the translator to pick up, letting out a frazzled beep before translating again. "Why did you make the Monorail crash?" The translator slash transforming gadget finally said, sparking slightly.
  22. Reflex Results 1d20+6: 15 [1d20=9] Right on 15!
  23. Round 1 24 Puma - 3 HP - Dazzled 20 - Daniel - 16 - Golden Star - OHP, Bruised 13 - Gen Sparks 13 - Iris - 4 HP, Staggered Puma is up! Although Dazzled this round. Still need a dazzle save from Golden Star
  24. Thanks Fox - I appreciate a lot to wade through with three sheets The Evolition Array - I think it is Drawbacks on the sheet? (Unless you corrected for me) Corrected Grapple for Rat and Beast Boot Knives in DC Block You are correct about total PP cost and Feats: I have added in Elusive Target to Rat and Head, and another rank of Favoured Enemies (Animals) to Beast Corrected the Total cost to 248 PP
  25. Okay, Initiatives! Shooting Star gets a 1d20+2 = 4, truly the fastest draw in the west. For Steel Shade's team: Steel Shade: 12 The Prestige: 21 Anarchilles: 13 Mothlight: 14 And for the Goblins: <Mysteries>: 8 Redcaps: 24 Goblins (Minions): 16 For reference, there are currently 18 Goblins, with six adjacent to the heroes and twelve around the villains. The heroes have seen two Redcaps, with one currently visible. The initiative order as it stands is: Redcaps 24 The Prestige 21 Bloody Mess 18 1HP Goblins 16 Blackstaff 14 4HP Mothlight 14 Anarchilles 13 Steel Shade 12 Bruised & Injured 1 ??? 8 Shooting Star 4 3HP Will do some IC posts tomorrow before moving onto Combat (After SF gets a chance to post of course)
  26. All On the Evolution Array, Power Loss should be noted as a Drawback rather than a Flaw. Each sheet is paying for a phantom feat - 41pp of Feats where I count only 40pp, for instance. Including the Feats issue above, I total each sheet to 247pp rather than 250pp. Red Rat I think you've shorted yourself on Grapple slightly - I calculate it to +20 (+14 Melee, +6 Dex) rather than +19. You may want to have the boot knife in your DC block - it's your only at-combat-caps melee option, and you did buy the Attack Focus to use it! Red Head See Red Rat's note on Grapple bonuses. Red Beast I calculate Beast's maximum grapple as +16 (+8 Base attack, +8 Str); I could be missing a +2 somewhere, though.
