Bee With a little wave to the time displaced man Melissa shrunk down to her bee size, causing a little flash of light and electricity as the energy was released. She them flew over to beside Super-bee, wanting to try out something she’d been working on with her uncle. With a press of a teeny tiny button a microphone folded out to go in front of her lips, it helped that it gave her face a more bug like appearance and allowed normal sized people hear her easily. “I thought he was a dimensional traveller, there’s this Earth that's all steampunk like, it close enough he might have jumped dimensions.” -
Close and punch one of the giants, will take 10 for a total of attack +20. If that hits DC 25 Toughness, and she has Takedown Attack 2.

For Pride we’re celebrating the act of love in all its forms. For the next few months give us stories of how the people around the heroes experience the lives they live, and how that affects their love for said character. It doesn’t have to just be romantic or physical love (though it can), amoung other things it can also be familial (actual or found) . The love can be unrequited, but it should still be a positive thing, no crazy stalkers this time around. Your stories of love should be posted no later than the 31st July 2021. (As a reminder, vignettes follow the same general rules as posts in terms of content, player character limits, and so on. You may have only one vignette per player character. Each vignette should be at least one page (~500 words) in length; if posted in your thread counts at the end of the month, it is worth 1pp for the associated character. An especially long vignette, 1000 words or more, may be worth up to 2pp. Multiple players can collaborate on a single vignette - we recommend Google Docs for this, it's very useful - but the vignette should be about one page per participating player.)

Bee Melissa had to try very hard not to squee when Stesha spoke to here, with usual information about the bee’s as well. “So the bee’s have formed there own social norms against the basic nature of there origins, that fascinating.” she made a note on her phone really hoping she got a chance to visit the hives soon. She was paying enough to pick up something the steampunk guy said, another chance to give a helpful comment. “Oh the NSTI, thats the FCU! I’m going there! Well I’m on an internship for year, after two years of study, I’m hoping to get a good grade when I graduate!” -

Bee Not only was she meeting one of the giant bee’s for the first time, Super-Bee at that, but also Fleur de Joie. Whilst she was still small Melissa couldn’t help but give a little dance of joy, a little glowing Tinkerbell zipping around for a few minutes. But this could be important so she dropped down returning to human side. “It’s true, all of the workers are female, and they’ll be the ones who’d bee making the honey. All the drone would have swarmed to make… baby bees by now so it’ll be a ladies only hive right now!” she spoke with a quick exited tone, she just loved explaining science whoever was the audience. “I guess we should really get him cleaned up and find out which dimension to return him to.” -

Bee In the little space that Melissa had made her home she’d been carefully positioning her Archetech Tablet, propping it up with several books on Melittology. After only a few day the rest was a mess of notes and diagrams on the giant bee’s she’d come here to study. “Hello Uncle Bowles it’s a shame you can’t be here it’s all amazing!” making careful care to start the recording before speaking “I’ve only seen the hives from a distance, I want to earn there trust fully before going inside, but they are remarkable structures.” She waved a detailed drawing of one of the hives, filled with intricately written notes in her handwriting. “You’d never believe what I’ve discovered…” her pause went a little longer as she heard the struggle outside “… I’ll be right back, something exciting is going on!” Shrinking to her bee size a zipped outside. “What going on here?” -
Sorry I've let this one slide a little... Should I just summarise and we can move on, or are people still good to finish this off?

Madame Raven Callie thought she’d got the rhythm of this fight down right. Blow, dodge, counter blow. She’d practised this kind of thing multiple times with different opponents. Unfortunately most of her fight had been in practice with people that were friends and allies, and only her other self tended to try and throw her out with totally unexpected moves. Basically he zig when she’d expected to zag and a blow that was looking to hit went just a smidge wide of the mark. Maybe she did need to fight herself more often.

Ms Grue Mortified Daphne floated out of the pool a mix of embarrassment and concern on her face. She’d faced some negative reaction to her species and powers before, but it still stung when she caused someone anything resembling mental anguish. Daphne was an empath and she couldn’t help but feel the strong emotions of everyone around her. “I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to surprise you like that.” she was most definitely using her speaking voice It was concerning how her powers had been increasing over the last few years, especially as she was floating only a half meter from the ceiling of the room supporting herself telekinetically without even thinking about it.

Ms Grue Daphne happily floated down in the water, enjoying the floating sensation. As she did her mind wandered taking in the sensations of the others, she’d never lik Tarva’s mind it always felt icky to her so she choose not to ease drop on the conversation, even if she was really curious. Instead she decided to float down to check on Jesse at the bottom of the pool. Hi are you okay down here? She projected cheerfully but softly to Jesse’s brain I’ll admit I don’t know everyone's powers, do you have water breathing or increased endurance? Thinking she added carefully You can just think and I’ll pick it up, if you can’t speak underwater.

Zhenschina-voin Silently Klara dopped down behind the two younger heroes, gently putting down her Mette beside her. She’d changed into her armour which shined in the bright New Zealand sunlight, at seven foot she might not tower but was definitely a good foot above the tallest of the others. She crossed her arms and struck a pose, arms crossed and a slight smirk on her face. Klara was impressed with Aquaria’s moxie, her file coming across her desk during an negotiation with the Deep Ones off the coast of Cornwall. Maybe the giants would take Klara as a body guard and be impressed that a little giant served Aquaria. And if not she was always ready to fight against the giants, either would probably impress them.

The Immutable Betsy Brooks “I’m sure you’re not going to listen, but its Besty. My mother is Mrs Brooks, well Lady Jacqueline Brooks, but that’s beside the point.” She helped the teens into the car before turning the keys making the engine roar to life like a caged animal. “This is a loaner so try not to damaged her in any way, I’m not sure my insurance will cover its lost.” With some care she took the car down the long drive of the Academy and out towards the roads of Freedom City. “So we’re going to talk to some of the bigwigs in the local supernatural world, the Master Mage isn’t returning my calls so we’ll go talk to someone bigger.”

Madame Raven Callie had inherited her fathers tactical mind and as such she’d considered several options, none of them really simple, really they needed the help of a tech hero but by then the woman would have probably bailed. Besides if this was her own nemesis then she really should go after her herself. “We should probably start by scouting out the area first, time is a wasting.” she grinned before adding “Race you to the area?” Not waiting she began to swing off, getting a head start on her corvid related friend.

Bee “I have a suit that channels the charge to provide an electrical sting, as well as power a teeny tine pair of wings.” she made a little pair of wings with her hand and make it fly around. “I’ve been on a tour a few times, but that doesn’t cover all the new stuff or the really high tech labs. I can’t wait to take a look at the equipment they have on hand, its probably the most advanced technology on the entire planet.” she waved her around around, her little winged form flying away in an excited waves of the arms “Sorry I just get a little over enthusiastic! Lets go see what they have shall we?”

Ms Grue On the way to the pool Daphne shifted her clothes, those she’d had since she’d came out of the birthing pod, into a natty silver one piece with a cut-out of the three pointed star that was her symbol. She was in her human form, one she’d be refining over the last few years. So use was she to taking human form, even among her friends her Grue form made some of them nervous, she tended to adopt it even without trying. Though she’d originally wanted to use the sauna Daphne always enjoyed the pool, it reminded her of floating in zero-G. So she climbed into the pool and began to float under the water, subtly controlling her buoyancy to keep in place. She could keep like this as long as she wished, and as a telepath she could still keep up with everything going on around the pool.

Ms Grue Daphne was having one of those good days, both her human job and League commitments meant she could work from home. A fruitful morning had provided enough completed work that she could relax and enjoy herself a little. She was padding through the hall on her way to the pool, floating in the water reminded her zero-G, when she came upon Eve. “It doesn’t take an empath to tell you’re a bundle of stress!” she smiled sweetly She approached Avro so as to not surprise him and gave the little manticore a skritch behind the ear. “I was going to the pool, maybe you should come with and get a relaxing sauna?”

Origin Story Caer Arianrhod, Gwynedd, Wales The Witching Hour, 1st March 2012 The moon shone down bright on the ocean, though at places of high magic it was difficult to tell what was real and what was symbolic writ large. Only at such times could the real entrance be found to the home of Arianrhod, for her home wasn’t a palace but a prison for the goddess that did wrong by the founder of their order. Ever since when agents of the Amddiffynnwr o Lleu Llaw Gyffes first formed when they came to age they would go meet the captured goddess. Both to see what they were fighting and to hear a prediction of there future fates, apparently this was never an agreement between the goddess and the Order it was just that she grew bored of the same conversations. Tonight was the turn of the most current Blodeuwedd, always contentious as the name was so tied to why Arianrhod had been imprisoned by the Order.

My daughters were always tearing off after something or other, though generally I was the tallest one in the situation.” She went over and took hold of Tracy’s hand, giving her a kiss “Afraid you’re going to have to stay here, we’ll make it up later I promise.” She then floated up a into the air, the smiling she offered her hand out to Mermaid. “You need a lift? Pretty sure I can catch up with them in no time!”
