  1. k, Hit Assasin no. 1 with a burst of light 1d20+5=7, if that hits it'll be DC 19.
  2. She carefully feed the small piece of flesh to Nora, making sure that Nora couldn’t make any kind of grab for her. “So does this master have a… no wait… What’s your name Nora, your real name, who were you before this Master came along?†Try as she might she couldn’t help but feel for this poor woman, even if she was a killer a monster. Once she was a human being and Lucy could only hope that there was enough of that person still her worth saving. If Nora was a lost cause what did that make her? Neither of them was human anymore.
  3. Lucy looked thoughtful for a few minutes. “I really don’t think so; my condition is unique, well almost. I’ve been lucky enough to learn a little of how I came to be. It’s another of my interesting little stories. It all started when I went to this function raising fund for the homeless, I spent a month on the streets so I help where I can, where I saw this picture…†She then went on to tell of her encounter with Bloody Nora, leaving out none of the gory details. “…I went to a pretty dark place that day, but I think it was better to know these things.†She brightened up a little “I still have the picture it you want to see. Oh my god! I’ve just asked you to see my etchings.†The dark mood was lifted with a hearty laugh.
  4. I'm at my best now I can take the hits, just not to many Iniative 1d20+4=15
  5. A little out of practice and feeling a little out by her success with the garbage men she was happy to allow Lord Steam to take on the bulk of the interrogation. Still it wouldn’t hurt to make her think they knew more than they did. Walking over to Lord Steam she stood beside him for a few moments arms cross looking as stern as her little frame allowed her. Then standing on tip toes she cupped her hand in front of his ear before asking in a whisper. “Care to tell us exactly what you know about this ambassador?“ She smiled mostly to herself “When the time is right of cause.†She then returned to her stern watch.
  6. She could tell that the gun man had been here, the Victorians gunpowder was much more pungent than the more modern stuff. Well at least from her limited experience. So he could have gone one of two ways, luckily she could travel much faster out of sight. But as always the show first. She leaned out over the lip of the box and waved at the crowd. “I’m afraid I must skip on the encore this time. I hope you understand my reasons. Good night!†Stepping into the plush corridor and glancing around to make sure she wasn’t being watched she concentrated briefly. With a large flash of light she became Young Britannia. Trying to follow the trail she took flight down the corridor.
  7. Notice check 1d20+9=12. No problems for a change!
  8. Lucy skin shaded slightly her equivalent of a blush. “Rather than someone 96 years you’re senior?†she gave another laugh “I’m flattered you don’t think I show my whole 30 years, one of the advantages of my current state.†She looked into his young and attractive face and inwardly gave a little sigh, if only she had met someone like him 80 years ago. Then again there wasn’t anything like her back then as far as she was aware. “Johnny look there something I need to make clear. I’m still trying to work out my feeling for a man who I last met 80 years ago.†She reached out and gently touched his hand. “I hate to say it, because it was a cliché even back in my day, but all I’m looking for right now is just a friend. Maybe… well I hope you can understand.â€
  9. So she had found Nora’s week spot the idea that Lucy’s flesh would somehow make her stronger. She had been through a number of wounds over the last month, but she had never purposely hurt herself. Gritting her teeth she cut off the tip of her right little finger, tucking it in so as not show Nora that it (thankfully) regenerating. Still she wasn’t going to harm her left hand in case Nora decided again to take it by force. She held up the tip of her former finger. “This is for you Nora, a down payment if you will. But first I need something as proof. Tell me something about this master of yours and you can snack on this little bit of me.â€
  10. Damn the man was heavy. She could normally lift a small car without any issues but now one, admittedly large, man was taking all her efforts. She risked releasing an hand to try to get a better hold and to dig into his ribs trying to get him to shift around more to release the final chains. She was rapidly running out of time, she needed another distraction. And then in he walked in, hopefully she wasn’t quite out of luck yet. “Is that what it’s all about? Is your high and mighty revenge just another chance to make a quick buck?†she spat the word with she hoped just the right amount of venom.
  11. Vocal Cords Surgery'd by Dok 11/7/2011 Young Britannia YB is going for a bit of a charm offensive : Raise Charisma to 16 and add 4 skill points to singing; Vocal Cords Surgery'd by Dok 11/7/2011
  12. Agnes slowly picked herself up from the villains attack, still feeling a little groggy from Bonnie’s blast. She was counting her blessing, her dress might be totally ruined but she could at least stand (barely) on her own two feet. Damn so many people these days think they’re music critics. So all she had to do was get rid of Asad, Amir she corrected herself, he probably do something stupid and try to defend her. Find a convenient place to transform and go kick Bonnie but. Simple really. Feeling a twinge of guilt she smile dup at Amir “I’m fine, just go get her.†She was getting far too good at this subterfuge stuff.
  13. As suggested I'll spend a HP and make a recovery check 1d20+3=14, yay I'm awake and around.
  14. There's always a critic . My Reflex Save 1d20+2=8, as I can't make the Toughness save in my normal form I'll blow a hero Point to Reroll the Save. 1d20+2=3, whoops even with the plus 10 that a fail. So a Toughness save. 1d20+3=10, um well thats really, really bad. I think I have a better claim to dislike IC. :D
  15. Annice gave the old man a friendly little smile. “Thank you, a gentleman as always.†Swinging herself up onto the lip of the box she positions herself to get a good stable footing to try for the higher box. This was going to be a little bit trickier. Her dress might be pretty, but it wasn’t really built to go all Jason Borne. She’d kill right now for a pair of comfortable jeans. Still she couldn’t forget she was a showman first. She gave a little bow and lent down and gave the gentleman a little kiss on his head. Ignoring the whoops and calls from the crowd she jumped for the higher box.
  16. Do I happen to recognize the guy in the chair? i can sense where this might be going .
  17. As I'm simple little old Annice I only have Str 16, or a 13ft jump if I remmber right. I have Normal Idenity so it takes an actio to change and kinda ovious hence my improptu parkour session .
  18. “Bless you!†Lucy said almost automatically to the Detective. “That was a pretty amazing Leviathan, thank for allowing us to share it all. “ She listened to both the hero’s comments before adding her own. “Well I might not have the audacity of Lord Steam here.“ she flashed him a smile “But I can more than handle myself in most social situations. And if it turns ugly I might have a surprise or two for those bouncers.†A broad confident smile “If there’s nothing else to be found here I suggest we go find these gentlemen and lady from this vision of yours.â€
  19. Her funk passed and he gave a little laugh. “No…no we had movie theatres, no sound though. Have you ever seen Bollywood movie, so many colors and sounds it’s amazing.†Her eyes sparkled “I’m still getting use to how quickly movies move all these cut and edits. And yet they still last a couple of hours.†“And as for computers I still keep asking myself why so many people need log tables.†She gave a broad grin. “I’ve making good progress on navigating my way through the 20th Century into the 21st. Though I don’t mind taking other along the journey. That was why I was at the Renaissance faire, though I’m still not sure on all this celebration of the past. Maybe it’s because I’ve so much less past to look upon.â€
  20. Agnes’s eye sparkled “Jazz now I was raised on Jazz my mother was mad on the stuff Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, Nina Simone… “Life has a crazy pattern And fortune comes to few. I'd like to take the pattern And fashion it for you.†She stopped and looked a little sheepish at her impromptu outburst of song. “Heh, sorry. Most people think that as a pop star I was just interested in the money and the fame, but music is in my blood. If I’ve not completely embarrassed you by now I’d like to hear you play the piano.â€
  21. I though I could probably make the jump unaided but I made the roll in case I needed the extra distance. I got Acrobatic from Beginner's luck from my Enhanced Feats, needs a hero point to activate.
  22. Lucy gave a hearty little laugh. “I’m not even sure what a Vegan is, but if it helps I like cheese. I’d offer you another chance to step away, but I know you’re committed to see this through.†She took a little, unnecessary, breath. “As for my family I… I just don’t know. Part of me doesn’t want to know, it comforting to think that they all go on with their live. That my parents lived long happy lives, my family are natural long lived it something in the blood. I guess I've take that to the extreme.†A little hollow laugh “That all my brothers and sisters got married and enjoyed a plethora of children and grandchildren. I could have a whole tribe of descendants of my family, but no one left who knows me. That my fiancé went and got happily married. They all knew that something like this could happen; it was a risk I was willing to take, and they all supported my decision.†A flash of sadness crossed her face and then it was gone. She forced a smile. “But no more tears from these dead eyes. I’ve got the house I’d grown up, a small gravestone up on lantern hill and a sparkling new future to explore.†Her voice carried no bitterness, no bile.
  23. Agnes gave a little laugh. “I guess you’re not a fan of my work then. I’m trying to restart my career, hence me being in Freedom City. Actually I could arrange for you to visit the studio’s if you want.†She slumped back into her chair and sipped her tea. “I’m sorry this is a wonderful city and all, but I’m all on my own. A stranger in a strange land so to speak. It kind of you allowing this meeting, give me a change to just spend time with someone not in the business. Another pause another sip. “I’m sorry I’m loading on you. I see from earlier that you’re a student, what are you studying?â€
  24. Okay, I'll keep her full attack as she learnt most of it from her street fighting days . Attack Roll : 1d20+11-2=12. I just hope he's well surprised. :D
  25. She was a little out of practice as a lawyer but she well understood the idea of a pound of flesh. And she had an advantage, whilst Nora needed blood to regenerate she seemed to do it naturally (well unnaturally). A Barter, a trade it might work if Nora was desperate enough. “Nora I’ll give you what you want, but I need to know more. I need to know about this master of yours. Who is he? Where is he?†Searching around she found a knife, this was going to hurt but it might be worth it. She held the knife by the trip of her little finger allowing a tiny bit of blood to flow. “So what do you say Nora?â€
