  1. Revenant decided that the Ambassador was unlikely to respond to the heroes taunts. Not that it wasn’t fun, but a constant barrage was just a little too much. Instead she just gave the Atlantean host a manic little grin as she manoeuvre around there leader. She shouldn’t but she’d always enjoy this since she was a kid. Spotting her chance she hit upwards catching the man in his stomach, maybe not the most honourable of blow but she had learned her fighting schools on the streets. The blow felt solid but the man was, like herself, tougher than he looked.
  2. Let's gop for a simple attack again, that 1d20+11=24 to hit. So a DC 26 Toughness save.
  3. Okay if SC can give me a notice roll as well.
  4. Okay so I need a simple DC5 Dex check from Derin. As the man just started falling damage is going to be negligible.
  5. Agnes took her seat with a playful little smile. “Well she doesn’t know what she’s missing. It seems I’ve found a real gentleman.†Small talk right, make small talk. But what do you talk to a Playboy Multimillionaire about. It wasn’t like he watched Strictly and X-factor. Start with the simple stuff, and well it got touch she was British, talk about the weather! “So how was your day?†God that was so cheesy, she might as well pack up and go home now. She gestured over for a waiter; she was going to need a drink. Cause she wasn’t allowed to drink, but at least ordering something would give her time to recover her composure.
  6. Sunlight poured down on them an air felt crisp and fresh. Above them was the towering majesty of an ancient mountain range, from Lucy’s limited knowledge it looked like the Himalayas. In front of them was a low flat temple that she guessed was Hindu in design. On the side of the building were a number of bas reliefs, some of the subject matter made even the open minded Lucy brush. “We are now in the realm of Alaka home of Lord Kunera and the Yakshini, my home†Coming from the gate was a man with something on his back, on coming closer Lucy could see it was a smaller man. As they drew near the larger man knelt down and the little man dismounted. “No, no, no. That will not do at all.†The little man waved his hand in an intricate movements and the jacket that the mage had given her begin to twist a change into a fine silken Sari in black with silver trim.
  7. The two heroes had managed to get close to the little throng of people who had gathered around the woman. Her response to being called an assassin was rather unusual in any case. “Oh you mustn’t call the paramedic for Ms Hawthorn; she has allergies to most modern medicines and needs specialist care.†He voice was a little slurred from the alcohol she had recently consumed. The two security guards looked a little embarrassed, the eldest a short little man who looked scruffy despite being in uniform put a hand gently on her shoulder. “Look Mrs Thorn we’re going to have to take you back inside.†Whilst he was speaking the other guard carefully picked up a rather large calibre pistol that had been lying at her feet. The combination of the two seemed to shock the poor woman back to her senses. “But it wasn’t me there was another… another me, I bumped into her and well she… she disappeared. I was returning from the bar someone must have seen me.†She scanned the crowd and caught the distinctive features of Synth. “You were there at the camp you must tell them that it wasn’t me. I would never dream of hurting poor Ms Hawthorn.â€
  8. Lucy gave a tight smile; she thought she was starting to get the hang of the way this dimension worked. Her memories seemed to be the strongest power she had so she began to draw on those from her old house. She remembered that she would roll her little brother up in the carpet, let him stew until he would promise to leave her alone. Distances were optional her so instantly she was beside to ancient gangster rapidly rolling him up within the roll of carpet. So intent were her memories of the events she was drawing on the visage of her twelve year old self looked down of the old man. “The problem with you is that you just never had, or needed, an imagination. I however don’t have that problem.â€
  9. Oh well in for penny. She just hoped that the Ministry would be happy to foot the bill, it was unlikely that her credit card could take the strain. “I believe I shall take the executive suite would you arrange for afternoon tea to be delivered within the hour. When we are satisfied with the quarters my manger here will return with further requests. Unless of cause you can spare a member of staff for solve my requests.†She gave her sweetest smile, trying to convey that yes she was meant to be her and yes she could make such demands.
  10. She didn’t get far before returning to grab a coat, Young Britannia might not be able to feel the cold but Agnes most certainly would feel the below zero temperatures (or whatever the Americans called it). After that the flight was quite unremarkable, and quick, with perfect recall and a top speed of around 400 kph she was soon touching down in a safe quiet alleyway that seemed to infest the city. Slipping on the coat she wandered into the restaurant. Only to have to give her coat away to be hung up. Well the shows the thing. The loss of the coat revealed a lovely green dress, which was defiantly not casual and show just as much as she wanted to. And well it went with the Cho’s. She was shown to her seat to see that Amir was sat there totally unconcerned with her lateness. “Hi there. I was wondering as your date seems to be late is this seat taken?†she gave a cheeky little smile.
  11. Time for a hero moment! If you want to both post you plans to catch the poor man (I'll assume Whiplash is watching at a safe distance) and I'm mush everything together into a whole.
  12. GM He was playing it cool acting like he wasn’t even aware that the hero wasn’t there. The snitch stood with his back to Pyre the smoke from his cigarette drifting in the cold night air. “Look I gotta tell you I can’t really…†As he spoke he slowly turned round, only to stare in wide eyed horror. Slowly backing away he began babbling. “Jesus Christ! Look I’m sorry I wasn’t going to tell on the Don, I was gonna tell nothing. Please…†Not watching where he was walking the snitch stumbled against the lip off the roof and began to fall towards the sidewalk below.
  13. Branson's Plaza, City Centre 16th December 2011, around 1pm GM Rosemary was in a good mood, mainly because she just spent a good hour in the bar celebrating the last day at work. Ms. Hawthorne had insisted that she take the afternoon off, but she wanted to make sure everything was okay before she went home for the holidays. Ms. Hawthorne and her company, the Roseus Corporation, had been very good to her this last year. She was in such a good mood she had given away her half-finished soda to one of the woman in the little tented city that had grown up in the plaza. Some (i.e. Roseus) had leaked the fact that the investment firm that they shared the plaza with, McDermott’s were engaged in very unethical practices, and a tented city had grown up almost overnight. As Roseus owned the plaza only they had the authority to move them on, so here they stayed. So intent was she on fishing out her cell from her purse she didn’t see the person she collided with. Looking up to apologize she was in for a shook because staring back was her. This person was her exactly double; she was so shocked she dropped her bag. By the time she had looked up the doppelganger had gone, but she had another problem to deal with. Towards her were running two security guards. “Wait! Stop her! She’s just shot the CEO; she’s just shot Ms. Hawthorn.â€
  14. Lucy put a gentle but firm hand on Nora’s shoulder. “Now Nora remember that Nick here is trying to help.†“If any blood will do then this place will have that aplenty.†She gestured towards the part of the building that was the meat packing plant “I think that’s why Nora choose to live here. If possible I’ll donate as much blood as you need, though I suspect it flows round my body out of habit. Actually…†For once her boundless optimism seemed to fail and she looked down and shuffled her feet. “There something you might find useful to know. I’m not sure, as you can see it’s difficult to get things out of Nora, but she’ suggested that we both come from the same source. That she was the prototype and I’m the finished model.†She seemed extremely embarrassed about the fact.
  15. Casual, casual, what was he thinking? She was going to be late. She bustled around her hotel room, still in only a towel, clothes scattered around the room. She was meant to be packing to fly home soon, but what to wear? “So you remember if I text you gotta call me back.†“What the message going to say?†that was Emily her agent “It doesn’t matter you just have to call me away. Just in case the whole date is a bust.†She briefly considered a trouser dress, but dismissed it out of hand who would want to spend all day dressed like that? At least she had her shoes picked out, a pair of beautiful Jimmy Choo’s that she still considered expensive. “What like if he’s a total playboy like every media outlet in the world suggests?†“Nah, I recon it’s all a front like Christian Bale in that movie. But defiantly not in the machinist, that’s just a little too much.†There perfect, not to revealing, but enhancing her curves stylish yet yup casual. “I got to go I’m call you later. If you don’t call me.†At least she wouldn’t have to worry about getting there fast. Stepping out onto the balcony, and checking she wasn’t being watch, change into her Young Britannia form and flew off towards the restaurant.
  16. Eclipse Nightclub 11st December 2011 The club look eerie in the cold night air, an effect the owners had spent a lot of effort to achieve. This effect wasn’t reduced by the music pumping out of the building; after all it was the music that everyone was her for. And there was a rumor, always rumors, that tonight someone special was here. Someone who would take the lucky girl, or boy, to special places where they would be the special as well. Though the crowd she moved catching a fair numbers of the cueing crowd’s eye. She wasn’t especially tall, even in those impossibly tall heels, but she carried herself with a detached superiority. Her impossibly porcelain pale skin caused whisper through some of the cue that she was one of them. It was true that it was almost impossible to wear a corset that tight and still be able to breath, but even in Freedom city one wouldn’t be that obvious? She ignored all that, and the fact that everyone was queuing, and went straight to the bouncer at the door. “I’m here to see him.†it was a statement not a request.
  17. Whiplash, Pyre and revenant learn about the sinister plans of a gangsters they've been fighting. IC is here
  18. Rooftop of Floyds Bar and Grill 1st December 2011 GM He shouldn’t be doing this he thought for the hundredth time as he paced the flat roof top of the bar. From below the sound of the bar drifted up, it was shaping up to be a good night down there. He had good, well cheap, whiskey waiting for him downstairs and it would be so easy to leave and go back downstairs. But they shouldn’t have done that to Mike, yeah so he squealed, but it was just too much. A simple bullet to the head yeah, only to be expected, but not this strange mystical Mumbo-Jumbo. Hands shaking he lit himself a cigarette. So he’d just tell these heroes nothing, well maybe a hint or two about Mike…
  19. Agnes looked a little thoughtful for a few moments. “We need to get the Bishop away from most of his guards. Hmm, If the mountain will not come to Muhammad...†She gave Mr Trowell and confident little smile. “Do you happen to have a sample of Ms Wheatly’s writing? Maybe we can tempt him out of his room.†She wandered over to the reception desk. “Hello there I wonder if you provide me with a room for a days.†Even though she only needed if for a few hour, she didn’t want to have that kind of reputation. “And I would like a pen and paper and oh I could really do with a cuppa, it’s been that kind of day.â€
  20. The force of the blow caused the dark magician to collapse to the ground completely stunned by the powerful blow. Thankfully the golem didn’t spring into life with his masters unconsciousness. The box must be more substantial that she would have expected, it still looked pristine untouched by the force of the blow. Slinging the captured wizard over her shoulder she went to the back room to help poor Yakshini to her feet. “Let’s get you out of here. And this back to its owners.†She waved the box vaguely about. Together they stepped out of the shop, and into somewhere out.
  21. She gave an encouraging little smile to the man; if they were going to be subtle then she would have to prepare the man to the fact that she looked like his beloved. “Do you think it’s a good idea for me to wander into the hotel into looking like this? I mean going looking for a Bishop whilst looking like a glowing creature from the heavens? It’s bound to bring out all his Inquisition guards.†She took a deep breath; this could be quite traumatic for the poor man. “I have another ability, to take on the visage of another. I could take on the form of Ms Wheatly and together we could confront him, it might get more information from him than a direct confrontation.â€
  22. The fleeing man if I had a large man shaped item to throw could I hit him?
  23. Agnes rolled her eyes at the two villain dramatic entrance; whilst they were standing around posturing she leaned in and whispered to Liz. “I don’t know about you but I need time to change, I’m going to try and distract them. Wish me luck.†Agnes gave quite a confident smile as she stood and approach the two villains. She might be in her civvies, but right now she was the ever confident Young Britannia. As she got nearer she gave a little clap at the villains. “I say that is really quite an entrance, you have a good strong theme and everything.†Her accent had gone up several social groups. She gave a sad little head shake. “But really hitting a popular coffee shop how small time. Villains like you should really be doing bigger and better thing. Maybe I could help? I’m Edina Monsoon I run a small PR company, and think I can help you. She gave her best saleswoman grin. “So what do you say?â€
