  1. Spend a hero poind and bingo Acrobatics, I want to jump from Box to box towards the assailant. My newly minted Acrobatics roll 1d20+4=22.
  2. Agnes felt the bullet graze her shoulder about the same time as she heard the crack of the gun. Biting down the urge to scream out she quickly considered her options. Changing would take far too long allowing the assassin time to escape, it just wasn’t an option. The quickest way was to travel from box to box, but she didn’t have the skills… Suddenly she just knew how to do that, strange she had normally needed to be changed before she had the knowledge, but she wasn’t going to kick a gift horse in the mouth. She backed up and took a run and jump for the first box.
  3. As a girl from the 20's I know nothing of these things you call currents events .
  4. How did you start conversation like this? What was the right way to explain a life and how it was all okay, especially when he realized exactly what had happened what she missed? So she sat there in silence for a few moments soaking in the atmosphere of the restaurant for a few minutes. Maybe it was the time she had come from but she preferred the shiny ultra-modern look of this age, but she had to admit it was a nice little place, with nice company. What more could you ask? She gave a comfortable smile and looked Johnny straight in the eyes. “Okay let’s start with the basics and then you can ask any questions.†a tiny pause to allow him to process this. “My name is Lucy Jane Harker, though only my mom calls me Jane. I was born on May 26th 1897, making me 114 years old, though I’m only 30. You see I was shot and ‘killed’ in 1927 and only woke up 3 months ago into this brave new world…â€
  5. Okay listern first, then spot 1d20+9=17, 1d20+9=10. So I've got a good ear for direction that works! Nest my Toughness save. 1d20+3=4, ouch maybe a reroll 1d20+3=10 so that +10 for 20. So I think just a bruise. Can I get a few details about where I hear the shot from before my IC post? I'm going to do something stupis again .
  6. Any doubt drained from her pale face and it lit up, her cola black eye sparkled. “I’d like to see that conversation: “How as your date,?†“Oh she was dead!†“ Lucy laughed at her own joke, but also gave a little blush at his compliment “I can eat, and I don’t have a hankering for blood… Though I’m not sure exactly where the food goes, I’m not sure I want to find out either.†Another smile flashed across her face “Though I don’t taste much these days, and yes I like spicy food even garlic. And especially strong liquor, though I don’t get drunk either.†She began to count out on her fingers “Just to clear thing up, I’m not a vampire, werewolf or one of those shambling walking corpses. The closest thing to my state is a revenant, but I like to think of myself as just Lucy.†She looked pleased with her analogy. “So in short, yes let’s go get something to eat. I like to just soak up a places atmosphere, and no not literallyâ€â€
  7. All the anger drained away the sight of this pitiful creature. Though not enough to let Nora down, instead she sat down a clean patch of fall hopefully out of her reach. “Oh Nora, I’m not trying to replace you in his affections. I somehow know deep down that we’re somehow connected, cousins if you will.†She gave a reassuring look. “I might be his favourite, but I’ve never met you master. He’s admired me from afar you might say.†She gave a little smile “I’d like to know a little more about him if you wouldn’t mind.â€
  8. Ow that hurt, but it seemed to allow her a bit more movement, just as long as they didn’t just shoot her she could actually make an escape. So maybe some cover. “That still doesn’t change the fact that I’m right, it’s a matter of public record. Beside…†She gave an evil looking smile. “How does someone who’s un-dead have a breath?†In a strange way she was going to enjoy this next bit, he may not. “Oh and you’re much to close.†She reached out grabbed the man legs, pulling him towards her. If he didn’t fall it would at least provide some confusion.
  9. Lucy rolled her eyes but still gave Lord Steam a little smile. “There are more things in heaven and earth, Lord Steam. Besides, it’s not a séance, it just a very fancy form of Psychometry. And I’m sure Leviathan wouldn’t do anything if it was in any way dangerous, not without a warning anyhow.†She gave Leviathan a bemused look. She looked down at the dead Atlantean thoughtfully. “There isn’t anything unusual about Atlantean that I should know? I won’t have a strong need for seafood or an irrational attractions to bulls after this ritual?â€
  10. What words of defiance the woman was about to say was lost to Bluesman’s blow. Her face had a look of genuine surprise as the blow struck, as if she had never expected anything like it before. All her haughty arrogance and pride melted away in the few brief second before she passed into unconsciousness and she slumped into Revenants arms. “Nice response pure Bluesman you look just like your statue.†Revenant gave an apologetic look “Sorry the original Blueman’s look. Do you want to wait for the Police to arrive or melt back into the night?â€
  11. Slight delay, but here goes. Her toughness save 1d20+8=13, can't forget the Bruised mod's (though somehoe I keep forgetting ) so it's actually 11. Another Staggered that shifts up to Unconcious.
  12. “Well in this city I think alive is more a state of mind. And anyway look at it this way. When I was growing up I was limited in what I could do, what I could say what I could wear. Not as bad as some people, but there were limits. Right here and right now I can go and do anything I want“ she gave another playful smile “And I’ve always been a positive person, my mom taught me to embrace life and fear nothing.†She stepped back leaving the sidewalk free. She crossed her arms and gave a stern look. “I told you I was complicated. If you want just walk away, I wouldn’t think any less of you.†It couldn’t last and a broad grin spread across the face, she made a sweeping gesture towards the restaurant. “If not well one of us needs to eat. I’ll buy you a drink and explain everything.â€
  13. Okay here's my notice and search rolls 1d20+8=22, 1d20+3=22, no honestly I rolled . And I think a bit of socila might work, oh look what I did... :D
  14. Lucy wandered back to the body and perched on the edge of a nearby Police Car. “Well the Garbage men were a bust, they didn’t see anything. And they seem a little star struck with me for some reason…†She watched Lord Steam and then Leviathan work for a few minutes in thoughtful silence. As she stepped through to hold hand she asked a question “Before we get too far into this mystical stuff, one quick question. When we’re talking Atlantean do you mean like the city that was sunk in Plato’s book? Did Poseidon have a change of heart or did something even more esoteric happen to them? I’m still trying to figure out how everything works in this city…â€
  15. Nora might be stronger but the more she fought the most primal she become, Revenant however still had a level calm head, well maybe she was a little ticked… Scanning the room she saw just what she needed, she would have to time it just right but it could give her the upper hand. Taking a step or two back she rushed towards Nora keeping low a fast to confuse the poor woman. On striking she lifted up the woman, with clawing Nora trying to get a hold on her body. Timing it perfectly Nora’s body connected with the meat hook with a sickening crunch. Words being far too crass at this moment she just looked on with a look a grim satisfaction.
  16. YB's initiative: 1d20+4=19 Staring out longingly into the crowd has some advantages.
  17. In that case I PERFORM, 1d20+7=27. Wow I guess I've found her calling .
  18. Agnes took a deep breath, well this was it. She smiled to herself in recognition of the act on stage; she’d have to get there autograph later. Agnes gathered her thoughts and Annice strolled onto the cell. “Good Evening one and all and welcome to the show!†she milked the audiences reaction here she was still a star “First one last applause for that Quite Interesting bit of Fry & Laurie, the finest comedian of the House.†She gave herself a small smile; she didn’t expect anyone to get the joke anyhow. Not missing a beat she walked to the front of the stage and swept her arms over the audience. “I’d like to thank the gallant members of His Majesties finest the 31st Regiment of the Royal Navy. Who so kindly took care of me all last night. I always enjoy a night when I coveted by Seamen…†she hoped she’d put just the right emphasis for the joke. “This one is for them and my other special friends.†She waved towards the box where she hoped Mr Trowell was watching. "I'm a poor hungry woman and I want a knob... “
  19. Lucy sighed she knew this moment had been coming, but she had wanted to put it off as long as possible. “It’s complicated, well actually it’s quite simple but it’s… unusual. I suppose I wanted to wait until you knew me better.†She stood there painfully thinking through a number of possible options. “I’d ask to wait until after you’d eaten, but you’d only sit there worrying about what terrible fate was about to befall me.†She managed a weak smile “It easier if I show you.†She carefully grabbed his hand and placed it on her chest, roughly were the heart would be. Instead of it's steady rhythmic beat there was nothing.
  20. Lucy inwardly rolled her eyes, no point in upsetting a potential witness. She also gave the police officer a gentle nudge in the rib, gentle as in not breaking any bone in his body. “Please just Revenant, or Miss if you must. You’re being very helpful.†Now the important bit. She gave another of her charming smiles “If you can remember anything, any of your, that you may think of as important now would be extremely helpful. I’d be ever so grateful.†She tried to out on the best amounts of authority and cuteness.
  21. She's not unconcious yet so she could still use her power, so do your best.
  22. The Bluesmans aim was accurate and efficient the throwing star dug deeply into the woman shoulder causing her to scream out in pain. “You son of a bit…†At this point Revenant struck, moving with an unexpected speed for an injured woman she struck clambering over the desk and barrelling into the woman, knocking her to the ground. Coming up Revenant landed a solid blow on the young woman. “That really hurt, but I get better. So I thought I’d return the favour.†She dragged the stunned woman to her feet.
  23. Right I'm back, and Revenants up 1d20+10=28, Femmes Toughness save 1d20+8=12. So that would make her Staggered and Stunned. I'll do the attack you can have the Big Damn Hero moment.
  24. Lucy stood up and brushed herself down “Please just Revenant will do. I didn’t know you fight one dragon dressed in a Renaissance dress…†She had noticed Lord Steam’s critical eye on her as he arrived, as she passed him she raised a eyebrow. “One mystery at a time Lord Steam, the corpse if you will.†She wandered over to were the Garbage men who found the body were impatiently waiting to continue their job. She gave them a broad friendly smile. “Hello there, I know you’re probably sick of all these questions. But anything you can remember about how you found the body anything you saw heard or even smell could be incredibly useful to us, to me.†She gave a coy little smile.
  25. Agnes stared into the crowd think through her options before coming to a decision. “Agnes, my friends call me Agnes. Annice is a stage name, a stage persona. Annice has to be careful what she say’s how she acts. Annice has to stay aloft be unapproachable. Agnes on the other hand would love to go flying with you.†She gave a broad smile You know I think in some small way I understand why some hero have a secret identity. “I’m like a little Russian doll. First there’s Annice the aloft pop star, then there Agnes the off duty Annice who always has to watch what she says and does. Then there the real Agnes in the privacy of her own home.†And of cause there’s Young Britannia, but not just yet. “I’m a complicated girl in short; you still want to fly with me?â€
