  1. Agnes carefully put the Assassin down. “Well nobody expect the Inquisition…†wait no, defiantly not the right time. She gently shook her head to clear her thoughts. The light around her spiked out around her angrily and settled down to an irritated fizzle. “Okay it seems I’m missing an essential piece of information, and you might be just the man to provide the answers.†She held out her hand. “Let’s do this all properly. Hello I’m Young Britannia and who may you be? And do you know exactly what is going on here?â€
  2. Her head snapped up at Whiplash’s warning and she look across in tome to witness the other hero being wounded. Without thinking Revenant took towards the gun wielding goon with an unnatural speed. AS she approached the goon she didn’t stop, instead she held out her arm which collided into the man with her full momentum. She didn’t even stop to worry about if the man was harmed; instead she crouched beside the wounded hero. “Are you okay? Is there anything I can do to help?†she gave Whiplash a concerned look.
  3. Gonna take a swing at last goon standing. 1d20+10=23, normal toughness save?
  4. “They do say that those who say they’re cool are normally the least cool of the lot, so there’s hope for you. And maybe even me.†She looked thoughtful for a moment. “And you right I need to know just how good you are. So Mr Guitar Man why don’t you show us exactly what you can do.†She wandered over to a small fridge in the corner to grab a bottle of water. Deliberately, though stated as an afterthought, she added. “And will see if the other two can keep up.†She stood there to watch the show, sipping her water.
  5. Shaking off the blow she rubbed her jaw the bruise having already having faded away. Getting sloppy, or even over confident, must watch for that in future. She gave the man a stern serious look. “So your one who will hit a woman, well I suppose it a blow for equal rights.†She gave a little wave to Whiplash “Thanks for the help I’ll be with you in a minute, just a little detail to take care off.†Her expression changed into an evil looking grin. “My turn.†And she hit the man square between the eyes.
  6. Yes I recover in from all wounds almost instantly, it's my thing . Though i should be using Lethal, not being alive and such. My bad. Anyhow and quick and dirty strike on the guy who tried to hit me. 1d20+10=24. Dc 26 Toughness again.
  7. “I’m only here for a couple of months, well for now.†She leaned in conspiratorially “I’m trying to arrange to buy a share of the studio.I came into a some money and it seemed to be the deal of the lifetime.†She sat back and sipped her tea. “If it goes through I think I’ll still commute rather than live her full time. I mean Freedom City is an amazing crazy place and I’ve loved every minute of it. But I miss all those little thing that remind me of home, I mean I even miss Marmite and I don’t even like it.†She gave a small laugh “And I suspect you’ve never heard of it. Actually I keep wondering home much of it is simple home sickness and how much of it is my spiritual ties to the country.†She tapped the side of her head to emphasis the point “What about you are you planning to stay here or do you yearn for home?â€
  8. Worth a try, k so my Intimidate roll is 1d20+3=22, plus any bonus for being so far up!
  9. Toughness save 1d10+10=16, I believe its Dazed and Bruised. I'll lose the Bruise on my action but that's about it, so back to you.
  10. “Nora if I personally let you down I’d make the first cut and feed you the first bones. Talking of letting you down.†Dragging over and standing on a chair Lucy carefully as she could lifted Nora off of the hook and gently lowered her to the ground. She felt in her pocket and found the number Silhouette had given her months ago, she hope this Nick Cimitere guy was willing to, could in fact, help poor Nora in some way. “Let’s go find a telephone and give this Necromancer a call. I just hope we find one with a rotary dial.â€
  11. Agnes put herself down a little distance from the meeting place and walked the last few meters to the spot. First because she was worried that Asad would turn this into a Media circus, he was cute but she still didn’t have to trust him 100%. Secondly she knew a few of the more prowly types didn’t like being lit up like a Christmas tree. Turning her glow down to a faint glow she walked into the spot where Asad were waiting. “Ill met by moonlight, proud Asad?†she gave a broad grin “Where do I sign up? Will there’ll be cake?â€
  12. A smile slowly spread across her face. “Actual yes this is my studio, I signed all the documents.†Not be able to resist she did a little dance of joy “Well that’s blown any pretence of cool.†She gave a little blush and pretended to adjust the microphone stand. “If this all works out I’m going to need a band. Cause I’m not going to hold you to a contract, not yet, but I’d like to use you for a tour if anything happens.†She gave a broad sweep of the studio. “But first business, let’s start with a little Aretha to warm up.†She launched into a version of Respect.
  13. House Rules use Dazed rather than Stunned, but yes that all correct. And yes I make it 250ft, I sometime forget my own strength  , though I did say she was pulling her blow so whatever you feel is appropriate.
  14. yeah that would hit, time for him to make his Toughness save.
  15. Lucy had never been one to fear much and since her waking she hadn’t been afraid of anything. But the true revelation of exactly who this man was sent a shiver of fear through her body. But she could deal with that later, first she had to make plan in case thing went wrong. She walked over to him, stopping a safe distance from the man. “You were, and so was I. the difference was that mine was a little more immediate. Tell me how many years did you have, when exactly did you die?†She hoped his arrogance and hate for her would buy her time, she suspected he was just as capable as herself in this world. And soon as he figured this out then the real challenge would begin.
  16. She was sure that they weren’t going to back down better quick action that possible bloodshed. “I just like you to know for the record I really don’t want to do this.†Lucy had learned to fight on the street of Freedom City long ago, and as such didn’t really go for the niceties of the more structured forms of combat. No she went for the quick and dirty methods of taking down her opponent. So stepping forwards she drove her knee into the nearest man’s stomach, making sure to not to apply her full strength. She only wanted to wind the man, not break his spine. “Oh and just so you know the name Revenant.â€
  17. Lets ease you in with a simple no nosense strike. Strike : 1d20+11=15, if that hits it's a DC 26 toughness save.
  18. Lucy gave a little sigh at the men’s calls, it seemed that some people hadn’t changed that much from back her own day. But her, well months of, experience told her that these men trouble. Time to this before someone got hurt. “Now are you sure you really want to do this?†She took off her sunglasses and gave him a look with her cold black eyes, stepping into the light for hopefully the full effect. “I’m in a good mood and I don’t want any trouble. I really don’t want to have to hurt you.†She was pretty sure it wasn’t going to work, but hoped against hope that one day someone wouldn’t want to start trouble.
  19. As you noticed Revenant doesn't really do stealthy . She'll go straight to the source of the npoise, but I'll let Sc and specially Evi get a post in before I proceed.
  20. I'm going to try again to getting him to talk using Batman interrogation techniques . As I'm not going to hurt him in any way I'm hoping I can get away with a bluff...
  21. Agnes sighed inwardly she’d hope to avoid such questions, best to stick to a version of the truth “I’m no machine I’m flesh and blood like you, I’m powered by the spirit of this land to help protect its people, all its people.†She had an idea it was risky but she wanted to be sure who all the sides were. She didn’t really want to hand these people over the Ministry for this world version of Waterboarding. She picked the most worried of the two, though it was a close call. She let the sailor hand go and lifted the man up with both hands. “I need you to protect him and keep him from harm until the Coppers get here, I’ll be back soon. As for you…†Holding the second Assassin tightly she flew through the door and straight up in the air in a streak of bright. Stopping above the fog which covered the city, were the air was colder but still breathable and look at the man she was carrying. “I thought for you confession you’d like to be closer to God.â€
  22. Lucy hopped down from Bessie with a broad grin on her face. “That Lord Steam was exhilarating! If I ever get around to learning how to drive I must remember to ask you to teach me it this wonderful machine…†She stopped suddenly hearing sounds of distress coming from within the building. “Wait, did you hear that? It sound like someone in trouble, follow me.†Without waiting for conformation from the other she ran towards the front door, bracing her shoulder in case it showed any resistance to her blow. She wasn’t planning to allow just a door to slow her down.
  23. Notice 1d20+8=10, well she's a little distracted. I'd like to slam the door, hopefully smashing it to matchwood, would you like me to roll? Finally I get to use my inhuman Strength .
  24. Lucy always enjoyed this part, exploring the highways and byways of the city. Tonight after finishing at the Our Lady of Mercy Soup kitchen she’d decided to wander the streets of Southside. She never felt nervous or cautious during her little wanders, by now most people around Boardwalk knew her by reputation and left her alone. And those that didn’t quickly learned the error of their ways. But today she was just wandering aimlessly not paying attention as she delved deeper into the rougher parts of Southside.
