  1. As YB need a little time, and privacy to transform she going to try and distract the two villians until Starlight ready. So I'm going to try and Bluff them 1d20+5=18.
  2. I often wonder how I survived awakening up into the 21st century and I’ve come to an unusual conclusion. It was a simple note quickly scrawled but meant in care. Not long after I woke up I was attacked by some people for just being who I was something that I was only just begun to realize myself, the Un-dead. That night I was rescued in more ways than one by a hero called Silhouette not only did she help me defeat the hunters, and showed me a way I could use my new gifts to help, but she gave a little bit of paper with two telephone numbers. One was her own number the other was for the renowned hero Nick Cimitiere. Not only is he a hero he’s also an expert on the way’s and mean of ghost and undead, someone who could explain to me about what I had become. I never used the telephone number for that purpose; we finally meet in very different circumstances. But anytime I was a little low or struggling about what had become of me the fact that I had that piece of paper that I could if needed call for help was enough to get me through many difficult times. As for Silhouettes number well that’s a story for different time…
  3. To be honest i was expecting a little bit of winging it. Talking of which... Can I follow up with some kind of snare/entangle?
  4. Lucy rolled her eye at Nora comments, dealing with Nora was a little like dealing with a small child or even an unruly animal. She felt a little guilty at even thinking such a thing and concentrated on dealing with the problem at hand. “Now Nora, remember he’s here to try and help you. Your best behaviour please.†She wasn’t sure what to expect but beneath all that leather and face paint, and she had seen stranger sights in this city, was quite an attractive young man. She gave a genuine broad smile and offered Nick a hand. “Hello there I’m Lucy Harker and this is Bloody Nora. Thank you for coming on such short notice, you already helped more than you could possibly imagine.â€
  5. Revenant Bloody Nora the Devil his Due (GM and playing) Karma, Yakshini, Karma Gangland Violence Gothic Revenant Something Fishy Urban Regeneration Autobiography, part four Wiki page, the Roseus Corporation Young Britannia Light Lunch Making Musical Magic Music Hall Mystery Pass the Plate Recruitment Table for Two, and Some Villains GMing Double PInk (points to Revenant please)
  6. yeah sorry I want to pin him for now.
  7. My Toughness save 1d20+11=30. I think I'm okay there!
  8. Free Action Revenants recovers from Bruise Going to Charge with a Power Attack 1d20+4-2=4. Oh that's not going to work, let's try for a reroll, 1d20+4-2=22. Much better being a Critical and All . I'll take the +5 damage so he has to save against DC33.
  9. By the time she had stood up the bruises caused by her throw were already fading. As Revenant stood up she clicked her neck. She looked all business and had a rather wicked grin on her face. “So that’s how you want to play it. Anger, Violence and Intolerance no wonder Atlantis sank.†As she spoke she ran towards the Atleanean gathering up speed as she went. At the last moment she almost lost her footing but recovered in time to plant a well-aimed blow with her shoulder into the small of the Atleaneans back.
  10. So the Ministry got me to impersonate a right trollop, but this poor sap genuinely cares for her. She hoped that if found Ada would return his love, but she doubted it. So some bishop want’s his wicked way with the long lady and tries to keep her to herself, or based on the wound she took silence her for good. She could us the fact he must expect her to be dead to her advantage, but first she’d have to explain a few facts. Before the difficult conversation a little bit more information. “So Mr Trowell tell me everything you know about this Bishop Innocente.â€
  11. As far I understand it at the start of each thread you start with your normal allotment of hero points. I'm going to grapple the ganster that the furthest from us. Move Action to reach him, which is fine unless he's over 1,000 ft away! Standard Attack : 1d20+10=26. Grapple Check : 1d20+16=31.
  12. Revenant gave a broad smile, well that worked better than I expected, but there was no time for celebration the gansters were still a threat and the other hero was seriously wounded. She gave Whiplash a little concerned look. “Will you be okay a minute? I’ll start rounding them up.†With only a quick pause for the answer she kicked off toward the gangster who was fleeing, with an almost unnatural speed. Reaching him she scooped down and without pausing tried to scoop up the prone man. “Will you people never learn? You’re in totally the wrong kind of business for this city."
  13. She hated to be the one show up the negative, but she’d been burned by contract deal before. And it wasn’t just her she had to worry about this time. But she didn’t want to upset this King of Suits, he seemed like a fairly upstanding type of guy. Oh well nothing to do but resort to the brutal truth. Agnes took a little nervous breath, and Young Britannia spoke.. “Okay there’s no easy way to say this without sounding like a right cow. So I’m just going to come right out and say it.†“I mean I know about you by your reputation, and I trust everything that you've said. You believe every word you say. But what guarantees that Asad will stand by the promises that you’ve given us on this windy rooftop?â€
  14. Agnes shall also take 10 on her singing for a total of 22.
  15. Agnes tried not to look to impressed, damn this kid was good. Look like she might have got a lucky find. But in this ego fuelled field of music it wasn’t a good idea to show your hand to early. “Not bad, you did your homework. I’m almost impressed. Though you missed the unnecessary key change before the last verse.†She sipped her water and gave a little smile. “Now that was my old style, clichéd and workman like. I want a slightly different style. Instead of this…†Now her time to show off, she sang a few bars of one of “her†old songs almost pitch perfect. Then without missing a beat she shifted mid verse the style and tone of the song. Giving it a faster and more upbeat tone whilst all the while introducing more emotion and soul to the piece. “…To something a little more like that.â€
  16. Oh well time was up, thankfully she had, she hoped, worked out how this “mindscape†worked. “That’s one of the many differences between me and you. A closed door could contain a pleasant surprise, a friend, a member of family a lover. To you it only hid killers or conspirators.†She figured strongest memories were best, so she thought back to happy childhood memories. In the hall to her, and her sisters, room was a carpet. But it was loose and if she was careful, and her brothers weren’t paying attention… She knelt down to an almost perfect representation of the carpet leading up to her door. One that Giovanni happened to be running along. With all her strength she pulled on the carpet.
  17. k, Want to do the old favourate the pulled carpet trick . So my attack is 1d20+10=17.
  18. Done by Ecal I really screwed up with my maths on this one, yeah it's a Dodge Bonus.
  19. Agnes gave a little comforting smile and bought Mr Trowell into a full hug. It might not be the way a Victorian woman to behave, but it made her feel better. She pushed him slightly away and looked him in the eyes. “I can tell you care deeply for Ms Wheatly, and I want her to be safe as well.†Especially as she’s me at the moment “Together we can make sure she safe, but I need as much information as you can provide.†As much as she wanted to say it she couldn’t promise that she was safe, though it was promising that the Inquisition were still after her, it could be that the original Ms. Wheatly was already beyond their help.
  20. Young Britannia stood there still feeling a little guilty about her comment and her aura of light had shrunk back to a ting spiking nimbus of light. “Yeah unlike you fine Gentlemen I don’t really do the stealth.†She gave a little nerve giggle “What kind of resources is he offering? I mean do we all get decoder ring and access to the Asad-cave?†Of cause this was a contract negotiation, a very weird one on a dark roof with two masked figure. But then she could deal with contract negotiations, she’d recently had plenty of practice. “And do we have agree with any kind of code of conduct? Do you know of anything that he’ll insist of any kind of commitment we might have to agree to? I like the man butt I’m not sure I’d want to promote his business interests.â€
  21. Young Britannia burst out of her cover and flew above where the fight was taking place. Her aura was flaring brightly and she was still fuming about being hit by Bonnie's blast. She gave a tight smile at the sight of Bonnie lying unconscious. But the fight was still going on and people needed help so she fought down her disappointment and looked around for another target. Whilst Asad had taken down Bonnie Blue he was still taking on another assailant, well he'd have to do. Drawing up all her energy, and a good portion of her anger, and let rip with a massive burst of light.
  22. Straight up simple focused blast of light on Rolling Thunder, 1d20+9=23. Yay that's a DC 20 Toughness save.
  23. K, Gonna spend a Hero Point to do a Groundstrike, anyone within 80ft need to resists a trip with the DC being 1d20+8=23. You might want to use the time to spend a hero point for a recovery roll.
  24. The men were getting away and this other hero was seriously injured. She needed to even the odds a little. An idea formed a she gave Whiplash a friendly little smile. "Stay down; I'm going to try something. I just hope this works." Concentrating she tried to focus all her energies in one point. Then she bought her hand down onto the concrete under her feet with strength disproportional for her size. The sidewalk rippled out as the shockwave rippled out under the feet of the men. Her smile was much broader this time. "Well that seemed to do the trick."
  25. Worth a try, Toughness save 1d20+10=22, so Bruised I think.
