  2. Lucy had been trying to follow the conversations between Lord Steam and this Atleantean, all the while trying to dredge up her knowledge of Ancient Greek law. It looked for just a moment like this whole mess could be solved peacefully. Of cause this all went to pot when this important Atleanean decided to cause trouble. “You obviously need to learn to relax a little.†She glanced back at the strange form Leviathan now took “And learn to embrace differences.†She gave a wicked smile. “I think I’m going to enjoy this.†Then she hit him.
  3. Straight foward punch for now 1d20+11=23. That a DC 26 Toughness save.

  5. Lucy gave a small smile “That’s a start, after all that’s all we can hope for.†She looked Nora up and down trying to imagine how someone “normal†would see her. Then again people in this city saw some pretty strange thing with breaking their stride. Still she didn’t quite trust Nora around people just yet. She really needed to learn to drive. “I suspected we have to meet up with you personally at some point. Would it be easier if we came to you or would you prefer to come to us? We’re a little out of the way out at the old Fallowfield Hill Asylum.â€
  6. Lucy listened intently to Nick’s explanation, trying to comprehend everything his was telling her. “The way Nora tells it the between state is deliberate, whoever created her wanted to create someone with all the abilities of a vampire but none of disadvantages. I guess it didn’t work as he planned.†She wasn’t quite ready to tell him about the rest of Nora claims, that she was the successful results of these experiments. “I hope I don’t sound stupid, all this mystic stuff is still new to me, but if she’s between states does that mean we can nudge her into one of the other states?†mostly for Nora she gave a determined look “I promised her I’d help with her condition and I don’t plan to let her down.â€
  7. No your right he missed and I missed.
  8. Time to play a hunch, she leaned in conspiratorially. Even the light around her seem to dim slightly making her less obvious. “You know more about this than your letting on. Please tell me what you know people’s lives are at steak Ms Wheatley safe for now but someone else will try and the next shot may be fatal.†Not that I want that, especially as Ada is currently me. Nor come to think of it the original Ada, though that ship might have unfortunately sailed. “And don’t worry those two will be going to spend time in a British jail. I’m not quite as green as I look.â€
  9. She was glad she had decided to get help from this man; he seemed to know exactly what he was talking about and wasn’t at all fazed by her direct approach. “Heh that would be Nora or Bloody Nora as the old tales use to call her.†Despite herself she gave a little nervous laugh “She defiantly not a revenant nor exactly any of the others, it’s a little more complicated. She’s a little feral I had to erm subdue her before I could get any sense from her. She was some kind of experiment, possibly from a vampire her master, but it seems she didn’t come out right. All she seems to do, as you can hear, is hunger.â€
  10. Sense motive 1d20+1=17, she obviously having a good day.
  11. Damn all this mystical stuff was still new to her, luckily it had its own set of rules and laws, and that she could manage. Now all she had to do is learn all the rules. Thank god that the insane Haitian had a habit of monologging, it gave her a chance to catch up before Giovanni could, hopefully, make his move. But she didn’t have a clue how to create a door. She closed her eyes and tried to clear her mind of the distractions around her. The only door that came to mind was a simple plain white door that of her parents’ bedroom. It was comforting with a warm welcome but also a place of safety where the monsters could never get her. But would her fond memories be enough to provide her with protection?
  12. Bluff roll 1d20+9=26, and I didn't even have to use attractive ;)
  13. Maybe it was her background or maybe just her more “modern†upbringing, but she wasn’t exactly enamoured with all this blatant nationalism. The light pulsed around her, as if it was slightly annoyed. “You forgot the promise of unlimited rice pudding.†She put on a trace of a Scottish accent and smiled at her private joke. She looked down on the two Inquisition assassins if they weren’t going to talk who to turn to. “I assume the Vatican City has an embassy as befits all the great nations. Perhaps I should go pay them a visit and discuss the actions of there citizens?â€
  14. Good he was taking the bait and most musicians liked to show off a little. But what to challenge him with? Something a little challenging outside his comfort zone, then again he looked like he knew his stuff so that I itself could be a challenge. Then again there were here to record some song, so best to start as they meant to go on. “Balls back in my court huh. Okay then give me some pop, but with a hint of soul. If you think you’re up for it.†She was getting more relaxed now and her confidence wasn’t a bluff anymore.
  15. Revenant face was still a picture of concern but she managed to give a tiny smile. “Thugs are not especially hired for their intelligence. I know I’ve face quite a few in my time. It seems they just don’t know when to quit.†Another bullet whizzed past her head, without showing any concern she raised her finger and gave a reassuring little look. “If you could just give me a minute, and then I’ll get you some medical help.†Without really taking time to aim she lashed out an arm trying to catch the gunman unaware.
  16. Oh sorry, yes I meant the gunman. the strike hit so my Toughness Save 1d20+11=25. A straight foward attack again on the gunman 1d20+10=11.
  17. How exactly do you explain a situation like Nora? She was still getting her head around the whole issue. Lucy decided to for the direct approach. “Hello there my name is Lucy Harker. You wouldn’t have heard of me a hero called Silhouette gave me your number and said you could help me.†She drew an unnecessary breath to gather her thoughts “I’m un-dead, but that’s not the problem. I have someone here who in a similar but a much worst situation. I wondered if you can have a look at her and see if you could help.†She gave poor Nora a reassuring smile.
  18. Ah so it all hinged on something that everyone should know, except she didn’t. Being from a different universe and all. Oh well time to get (the hopefully) final pieces to solve this problem. Agnes gave a little smile and the light around her pulsed around her. “Well close enough, I’ve spent some time in America. Could you tell me this rumour that everyone but me seems to know?†She hoped her doppelganger was alright but she had a sneaking suspicion that these fanatics wouldn’t be quite so generous.
  19. Initative : 1d20+2=17, well wow what do you know (Only a +2 bonus).
  20. “I’m surprised they could find such a small target. You got to float her for the last how many years, hiding from you fate. I got 24 hours before your thugs put a bullet in my brain.†Hiding the disgust she straightened up and looked down on the aged gangster. “You don’t have to do this Don Giovanni, just give up go to whatever rewards you’ve earned. I’m sure this man here can make sure you get a pleasant afterlife. Otherwise I’ll fight you every step of the way, and I’ll win and you’ll suffer. If not from me then from where ever you end up.†As she spoke she tried to subtly put herself between the duo and the bone door that (she guessed) lead to her body.
  21. The light around Young Britannia seemed to retreat slightly and pulsed almost nervously. “Oh sorry I didn’t see you, heh, ironically I couldn’t see you in this light.†The light brightened slightly as she listened to the other two stories and began to relax a little. “Yeah I meet Asad defending a social function; he made quite an impression on me.†Luck for her the glowing light hid her blushes. “If this guy is such a bad deal why haven’t you taken him down yet, is he hiding or just not enough proof?â€
  22. Agnes gave a thoughtful little face “I think I understand a little bit. I have family out in Jamaica and whenever I visit they go on about it being my homeland. But I’ve just never really felt it; I suppose there’s too much of my Mum in me.†She gave a little smile. Her eye’s naturally followed Liz’s upwards to the cute little models on the ceiling. “Do you mean just into orbit? Because I think I could actually do that, though I’ve never tried. Or do you want to travel out there into the vast cosmos. I’ve heard a few stories, but it all sounds pretty amazing out there.â€
  23. Agnes carefully put the Assassin down. “Well nobody expect the Inquisition…†wait no, defiantly not the right time. She gently shook her head to clear her thoughts. The light around her spiked out around her angrily and settled down to an irritated fizzle. “Okay it seems I’m missing an essential piece of information, and you might be just the man to provide the answers.†She held out her hand. “Let’s do this all properly. Hello I’m Young Britannia and who may you be? And do you know exactly what is going on here?â€
  24. Her head snapped up at Whiplash’s warning and she look across in tome to witness the other hero being wounded. Without thinking Revenant took towards the gun wielding goon with an unnatural speed. AS she approached the goon she didn’t stop, instead she held out her arm which collided into the man with her full momentum. She didn’t even stop to worry about if the man was harmed; instead she crouched beside the wounded hero. “Are you okay? Is there anything I can do to help?†she gave Whiplash a concerned look.
