  1. And we're good to go. I'd like to use my new foung dazzle to blind the inqusitors. And hopeful using the door to spare my companions from the blinding effects.
  2. Young Britannia came crashing into the room door still in hand. â€Nobody expects, no that’s far too cheesy. And most you don’t understand a word I’m saying.†Whilst playing the glowing idiot she was scanning the room, trying to work out where everybody was. If she could incapacitate everyone without any harm it was reduce a possible diplomatic incident. And the two poor unarmed fools, after all they were just trying to help. She twirled the door and placed it in the gap before the two could step forward into the room. “I can think of a much better phrase for you.†She gathered together all her power into a quick flash of light. “Fiat Lux!â€
  3. A slight raise of the eyebrow was the only sign that the Receptionist registered Synths unusual appearance. “No today has been quiet, everyone been given a half day off. Except for a few volunteers who have stayed on to keep everything ticking along.†She looked thoughtful for a few seconds. “The only visitor we’ve had were the paramedics that Rosemary… Mrs Thorn just called to treat poor Ms Hawthorn. They just went up to the CEO’s office on the top floor.†She looked a little concerned. “You don’t think someone went up there with them do you?â€
  4. Okay then Relex Save : 1d20+8=28 Toughness Save : 1d20+11=22 Close but still oky . Is my Ic post still okay?
  5. Reacting quickly Lucy rolled out of the path of both of the gouts of flame, but still parts of the stream flowed over her legs. It was a strange feeling and it certainly more painful than normal, but the flames seemed to have no effect on her what so ever. Not wanting to waste time she crossed the room toward the closest armoured thug. Turning at the last minute she panted an elbow into the face plate of the man with a satisfying oomph. “What’s the problem feeling a little hot and bothered?†she put a finger on her lips and looked puzzled “I wonder if you friend can hit me without affecting you? Are you prepared to find out?â€
  6. Reflex Save : 1d20+8=24 Toughness Save : 1d20+11=28 Figure I would have made it anyway! My turn! Move Action to closes with closest flamethrower. Attack flamethrower thug : 1d20+11=26, Toughness 26 save please.
  7. “It’s the Cop’s, the F**king cops. Why are there here.†The snitch paced around the rooftop smoking and taking a small nip from a flask before settling down. “Look I don’t know where it happened, it wasn’t like a video feed or something. But I do know he lived there.†He pointed to the right-hand side, top floor corner “He always picked the one with the fire escape to the roof in case he had to split quickly.†The poor Sergeant almost swallowed his cigar at the sight of Pyre. “Jesus!†a professional he quickly regained his composure “Sorry man you startled me, wait I know you… don’t tell me… Pyre†he gave a beaming smile “Our new detective is keen on your kind, keeps the briefing of all the new supers.†He gave a little sigh “I guess you’re here to see the corpse. If you’re ready follow me, and excuse the rookie she’s just a little keen…â€
  8. Whilst the two villains were distracted Agnes did a quick dive behind a convenient sofa, concentrating as she did a forward roll her PE teacher would be proud off she came flying out of the other end as Young Britannia. “Hello girls. Don’t suppose you’d consider surrendering?†she dropped her accent so it wasn’t quite so obvious, just how many Brit’s were there in Freedom City anyhow? “But just consider this a convincer.†She gathered together her energies and threw towards Coldfront, she wasn’t to try a get any civilians out of the coffee shop as quickly as possible.
  9. Free Action : Transform Move Action : Fly a bit Attack : Focused Light 1d20+9=20, if that hit it's a DC 20 Toughness Save.
  10. The plaza was full of people and hence full of smells but the strange smell of the creatures cut through everything. The trail got a little confused near the building itself but it was obvious that the thing had entered the building. Passing pass the ambulance that had just arrived they entered into the Branson building home of Roseus Corporation just as the elevator door closed, and the smell started to fade slightly. The receptionist must be a long time residence of Freedom City as she seemed unconcerned by the entrance of the two hero instead she put on her best smile. “Welcome to the Roseus Corporation how can I help you?â€
  11. She was over complicating this. “Oh bugger this.†She leant over and grabbing Asad before he could react gave him a large passionate kiss. “Let play a game.†She rolled her eyes “No not kind of game. Instead of me being a wannabe old pop star and you being a billionaire superhero, I’m your attractive talented almost girlfriend, and your my charming alluring potential boyfriend.†She now felt a little embarrassed but ploughed on with her idea “if it helps I’ll be a simple checkout girl with dreams of success and you can be a moderately successful businessman.†Agnes brain then caught up with her mouth and she began to play with her napkin wishing not for the last time that she could have a drink.
  12. She gave a wry little smile. “I myself I’m an old fashion kind of girl. But my employer has an 8 year old daughter who probably knows more about the internet than both of us will ever know.†She sipped a little of the win whilst she considered her option, she was sure the owner would have be horrified if she had asked for a cocktail. “You know we should do this more often, meet up so you can avoid giving anything away about what you know. Possibly without any more revelation about possible vampire relations. Still…†she leant over and gave Rene a little peck on the cheek “…thank you.â€
  13. She had always wondered how fire would affect her, but she wasn’t really ready to find out right now. First thing first get rid of the danger to the Haitian. Relying on the fact that the man in front of her didn’t know she was fully recovered snatched the gun right out of his hands. Acting totally unconcerned she turned her head towards the Haitian man. “I suggest you leave now before they come to your senses. Unless you happen to be flame proof as well.†She turned back to the stills turned Hood. “And to you I suggest…†with little effort she crushed his gun, letting the pieces fall to the ground “… I suggest you run.†She gave an evil grin.
  14. Give me a notice roll SC to see if Synth can pick out any additional details.
  15. Lucy had to admit that it was quite an impressive display; it reminded her of some of the old models you use to get at the World Fair. Not that she had much time to enjoy the show before her and the rest were whisked away to a miniature wonderland. Well all in the course of a normal day. She was still surprised even now at how undisturbed she was at the strangeness of the whole thing; instead she looked around to see what she had to hand. Whilst the others kept the robot bust she stayed at the back testing her strength against the toy cars which lay about the place as an improvised weapon, or even escape route.

  17. Agnes gave him a little look as her brain whirled into overdrive and then she came to a decision. “Look this might mean we might not get past the starter, but yes that was a pure PR answer. And I know exactly how PR goes I’ve done my share of safe interviews. Then again I was stupid enough to think I could win a TV show and then buck the trend and be more of that a one hit wonder.†She took a gulp of water, wishing it could be something a little stronger. “So why do you do it? I’ll start if that helps. There isn’t a bigger buzz than standing there on stage singing with the crowd going along with you, however many they are. There…†she wanted to say the only thing that came close was the freedom of flying, but it was a little too early for that “…is nothing quite like that in world. It’s hard coming down off of a high like that†she gave a little laugh “And I’ve been force into several months of cold turkey.â€
  18. Well this was it she was finally a legal citizen of the US. But she was aware that she had been an absolute nightmare for the last couple of weeks, and now she was slowly trying to make up for that fact. Little Asha had probably let her bad moods slide right off of her, but was easiest to find a sorry present. Because she had been going on about this mysterious toy launch by Fun Time Toys ever since they had announced the launch date. So after a few celebration drinks she had slipped out of her own celebration party to join the cue outside FTT. Clad in a heavy winter coat and scarves and with her brown wig in place she’d hope she wouldn’t be noticed and she could spend a quiet few hours looking at this mysterious toy.
  19. I'd like to grad and crush the Gangster's gun, the one that's threatening the Haitian. My Attack roll 1d20+11=28 And my Strength check for the opposed roll 1d20+8=18. I'll wait to see how well it all goes befoer I post the attack.
  20. Damn he was getting to old for this! Sergeant Dixon had seen many strange things in all his years as a member of FCPD but he’d never seen anything quite like that. The young rookie he’d been saddled with, who looked to him about 12, wasn’t at all fazed and actually seemed to have a morbid fascination about the poor corpse. He told her he was just going to guard the door tot eh apartment building, but really he just wanted to get some fresh air. He also lit up a cigar he knew he’d promised his wife he’d quit, but this was an unusual situation. Just a few more minutes and he’d call in for a Detective then he could wipe his hands of all this and get back to nice safe gang warfare. He just hoped nothing else strange was going to happen tonight.
  21. Lucy had to admit she didn’t quite understand why the Ambassador had such a problem with Leviathan, but he seemed to drawing all his ire, despite Lord Steam and her own efforts. Maybe she was trying too hard to solve the problem of why he was attacking, because she wasn’t really paying attention to were exactly her target was, her blow only just made contact with target. It was a clumsy blow and she had to readjust her stance to avoid landing on her butt. She swore softly and quite creatively in Russian. She’d had to take the pressure off of Leviathan soon, she wasn’t sure if he could take much more of that punishment.
  22. Simple hit again 1d20+11=15, ugh so close.
  23. She carefully put down the glass so as not to spill any or even break the glass. “So this man was hiding his knowledge in full sight like in a Holmes story.†She didn’t ask how he knew that is was accurate; he wouldn’t give a straight answer anyhow. “And this man wrote about another like Nora or even myself.†She was still a little uncomfortable admitting her own state. “And I assume you know more than just this one sighting or reference. Unless you ask me here to enjoy my fine company and the expensive, oh so expensive, claret?â€
  24. “Yes when a woman in a fabulous dress tells you something is hinky about a picture you listen to her.†she gave a broad grin “More wine?†She topped his glass up with a generous helping of a very expensive Claret. Did they still allow you to wash dishes to pay for a meal? “I’d try to charm you to find out exactly what you know about Nora, and how you appear to know so much. Occasionally I get these weird feelings about people and thing, like with the painting of Nora, and you my dear Rene are as they say off the scale. And it’s not all because of your Gallic charm.†She pour herself a glass of the Claret, for all she knew it could be paint thinner, still the act of drink it was enough. “Still one mystery at time, eh Monsieur.†She then proceeded to tell the tale of her discovery of the real nature and how after a small scuffle she had managed to subdue Nora and learn a little about her vampiric origin and her mysterious master. And finally how with the help of Nick Cimitiere, well to be fair he did all the work, Nora was able to start a normal life. She still couldn’t shake the feeling that the cunning Frenchman knew all of this already.
