  1. Thanks,I think Revenant would be best as YB went home forthe holidays .
  2. Room for a little one? Would prefer to use Revenant but as she the top end of your PL (being 12) I'd understand if you'd prefer YB (who's only 8).
  3. Initative : Is this a good time to mention the major edits I put up last month and haven't gone through yet?
  4. It was only a couple of days until her court date to legally become a citizen again and Lucy was nervous about how the case would go. After another whole day going over all the paper again looking for any flaw in her arguments she was a little frazzled and her normally sunny demeanor had evaporated. So when the telephone rung she was less than pleased. “WHAT!†Her tone softened at the sound of Rene’s voice, and she could probably do with a break. “Sorry, a Happy New Year to you too! Yes dinner would be a nice diversion.†She gave a small laugh her bad mood evaporation. “And we can discuss that dress you owe me. I’ll wear something purple for you. I assume you’d like to dine in your usual haunt?â€
  5. I'd like to apply just enough force to break the lock without destrying the door. With my Super-Strength that would be 14 against the door.
  6. Agnes signed and in an instantly resumed her Young Britannia form. “Oh well bugger all this subtly then. I assume both of you are armed in some way. If so I suggest you get ready. And try to stay behind me; I’m a little more bullet resistant than you two are.†She grabbed the rusted door and tensed her muscles ready to pull whilst the two gentlemen got ready behind her. “Everybody get stand back, and I suggest you don’t try this at home!†She them began to push the door inwards whilst striding forward hoping to take the door with her and catch the occupants by surprise.
  7. Freedom Ledger, 4th January 2012 Undead woman declared “alive†In a city renowned for its moments of weirdness this has to be a first in the city. A woman has successfully argued in court that she is still legally alive, either though she is one of the “undeadâ€. It seems that when the unfortunate Lucy Harker was murdered in 1927 her grieving parents couldn’t bring themselves to file paper declaring her dead. By being able to prove her identity she is now able to legally resume her identity with all the benefits and commitments that entails. The judge also ruled that as Lucy only resumed her unlife last year the government couldn’t ask for any back payment of taxes prior to that date. Miss Harker herself said she was delighted by the decision and was hoping to be able to resume her previous career as a lawyer.
  8. The creature formed itself a face, a cruel mockery of Starlight’s masked visage. It voice was croaky as if it was unused to speaking. “What I am is unimportant. The task is in hand the target will be killed.†The creature then seemed to lose all cohesion, flowing through Starlight’s fingers to form an inert puddle of pink goo at her feet. The creature seemed dead as much as it could be said to have been alive. On the wind Synth caught the barest hint of a scent from nearer the building, like the ex-creature before them but subtly different.
  9. She gave a little mock bow. “Arthur C Clarke would disagree with you Monsignor, but thank you anyway.†She concentrated briefly and her normal, disguised, visage returned. She gestured towards the interior of the ship. “Unfortunately my Spanish only goes as far as Two Beers and No, I don’t want to dance. So you are going to have to do most of the talking Monsignor.†In her tiny little blow for feminism she pulled open a nearby hatch. “Shall we go and see if the crew are willing to help. I’ve had a couple of lucky days with sailors the past couple of days.â€
  10. I think the second best fits the way I described the effect, so lets go with that. And thanks for doing the heavy lifting for me .
  11. Try to make sure that any of those nasty little Inquistion don't see the glowing light that is YB landing on the ship.
  12. Do you want me to spend a HP and work out the Concealment for my little firework display?
  13. Agnes gave a sharp look at the Bishop comments, it probably didn’t help she was raised a good pagan girl. But despite being a small minded bigot who was in lust with a trollop (who looked just like her, let’s hope the Red Tops didn’t get hold of that) she needed his help. Instead she mumbled a rather creative insult in mandarin. Wait the Chinese! That gave her an idea. “Close your eyes it’s going to get rather bright out here.†It’s not something she’d ever tried to do, but hey it was just lots of coloured lights in the sky right? After a few moments concentration the sky was lit up with a sparkling array of firework, in multiple forms and colours, basically as many as she could remember. They weren’t perfect, she couldn’t get the sound just right but the display did blanket the sky around the ship in multiple lights. Hopefully unnoticed her and her two passengers touched down on the ship to see if the crew on board would be suitable allies.
  14. “The Voodoo guy I don’t know, he split after a deal went south. Don’t know the sorcerer either; they seem to only speak to the Don. The chic… woman name I do know the Don was screaming down the house with her name it’s…†“… Revenant.†The papers were ready to serve, hopefully she soon be able to legally be Lucy Harker again. But it wouldn’t hurt to get a little experience in the courtroom again. So the trail of the woman she and Bluesman captured, Lady Fatale, seemed a good chance to get back up to speed on the whole process. She didn’t expect to get involved so directly. Seems despite her disguise the prosecuting Lawyer had recognized her and today of all day she was asked if they could have a quiet word. “Sorry you were saying?†“One of the main witnesses, one of the hoodlums you took down, isn’t responding to our calls. We’ve dispatched the police but I wondered if you could take a wander down and try and convince him to show up tomorrow.†Court was over for the day, and she had some time to spare, so she decided to wander down to Southside to run this guy in. After all what was the worst that could happen?
  15. np, feel free to show off your athletic prowess.
  16. Lucy rolled her eyes that was the problem with people today no sense of drama. “I know a deal a deal. Still doesn’t mean I can’t offer these people a way out now does it?†In one solid motion she stood up snapping the chain binding her. “Sorry guy the offers off the table. I’ll try not to hurt you too much. Him on the other hand…†Allowing for the element of surprise she crossed the warehouse to put herself between the Haitian and the gangsters. She gave them all an evil grin. “So gentlemen give me your best shot.â€
  17. Agnes really wanted to wave back to the dockworker or at least give a little barrel roll, but that would be a little unfair to her passengers. Instead she called out a little greeting in Mandarin and just for luck Cantonese. Luck some of her past selves had spent some time out in the orient. “I’m afraid stealth is probably not an option gentlemen. Is it worth trying to talk to these Inquisitors Monsignor?†She stopped to hover in the air a good distance from the Galicia, but close enough to see if anyone was moving around on deck. She even dialled down the glow, though a faint light still flared around her.
  18. Lucy looked up into the eyes of the gangster and gave her warmest smile. “I’m a reasonable woman. I’ll give you one chance to surrender; otherwise, well I’ll have to hurt you all.†Just to be sure she tested her chains; she could feel the strength flowing back into her limbs. She’d have to act fast before he noticed her skin paling again. “If you do have to shoot could you at least use the old scare? Waste not, want not and all that.†A tiny bit of her was still a little unsure and scared that another bullet to the brain could hurt or even kill her again, but she had to trust that the Haitian would keep his side of the bargain.
  19. It was tempting to play to his beliefs, on better than these Cannonades, but her conscious got the better of her. Her flow faded a little and her feet touched the ground. “No I’m just a normal person just like yourself. Given a special gift to help people, all people, whenever the need arises.†She obviously left out the part about being the embodiment of a pagan spirit of the land that might gall a practicing Catholic. She gently lifted up the two men and slowly lifted them all into the air. “Before we leave is anyone afraid of heights? I might need help with directions; I don’t think I have Sat-nav for Victorian London.†She slowly drifted out of the window, before taking off at her top speed.
  20. “Oh I still get to dance the Charleston now and again, but that doesn’t mean I won’t give up my unlife to save one person.†She gave a thoughtful little look, considering her options. As much as she’d hated to admit it she needed his help to stop the gangster. But with the little knowledge she possessed she knew this agreement would be binding whatever she wished. “Okay we have a deal, but if you break the bargain nothing will stop me hunting you down and sending you back to your maker.†She offered her hand to seal the deal.
  21. Agnes gave a little smile, she had said it before, but this time she really thought she had a clue. With a brief moment of concentration and flash of light Young Britannia was standing before the two. “Non Angeli, sed Angli.†She gave a little bow towards Bishop Innocente “This deception was unfortunately necessary Monsignor. But I must remind you a young woman’s life may be at stake even as we speak.†She floated a few feet in the air and offered her arms out to the two men. “I’m going now to save the woman you both care about. Do either of you wish to help me?â€
  22. She narrowed her eyes at the Haitian. “I’ve lived a full life and seen more in the last few months than most people see in a lifetime. I’m ready to meet whatever the afterlife hold. I suspect you however have some serious karma to repay in the next life.†She stood there looking stem her arms crossed. “Twice, and as long as nobody seriously hurt, otherwise the whole deals off. That’s the best deal you’re going to get all day.†A wicked little smile crossed her face “Unless you fancy your chances with the gangsters who think you’ve crossed them.â€
