  1. Space Ranger III "Got it. Hold on!" J'onn holstered on gun, quickly grabbing hold around Veronica's waist to hold her close. Going too fast would be dangerous, the jetpack wasn't exactly built for two, but hey, it'd work. Grandpa had done plenty of heroic rescues with just a jetpack in the past, no reason it wouldn't work for J'onn! Launching them upwards through the tunnel that Veronica was creating, J'onn poured on the power to move them as quickly as they could while the bullets ricocheted off the force field. "Nice one!" And, finally, when they were out of the wall and continuing up, far out of reach, he stopped, just holding steady for a moment. "That was awesome!" He laughed, just staring down at the people below while he started moving himself and Veronica away. "What was that all about?"
  2. GM "SHOOT THEM!" The man with the moustache shouted as Veronica reformed the dome into the long tunnel, then watched helplessly as the duo took off, the bullets ricocheting off the wall without doing much to harm her. As they disappeared into the sky, he cursed loudly, smacking the driver and starting to berate him, before breathing out heavily, sitting back in his seat and running his hands down over his temples. "Alright. Alright. Fine." He leaned forward, reached into the glove department and pulled out a rolled up piece of paper. "We'll just get the next one." The unfolded paper showed a map of the world, with several points marked with crosses.
  3. I don't know if you can power attack on a coup de grace since it's an autohit and crit, but let's just roll with it. TOU save vs. DC32: 29, that's a bruise and he's hurt, so it triggers the Fort Save to avoid KO. Fort Save vs. DC27: 18 The Hooked Man is defeated. He will, however, not be knocked out, though he is unable to fight. Give me an IC @Avenger Assembled.   5. Forever Boy "Eira Katastroff Natt och Dag!" Pan sounded absolutely furious as he called out to her. He moved out of the formation that Micah had created. Instead he was by Eira's side in a moment, his arms wrapping around her. "Enough!" He sounded desperate. "Look around you! Listen to yourself! This is not who you are! You can be mean, you can hurt others, but this? You sound like the Hooked Man! He's the tyrant, not you! Whatever else you may be, whatever else we may be, you are a hero! You are my hero!" Pan turned to the Hooked Man, and held out his hand towards him. His shadow surged around his enemy's body, tightening around him, keeping him in place. "Now, please. I got him. All of us together. We will stop him!"
  6. Pan moves to Eira's side and talks. Then he sends his Shadow against Hooked Man again: 29, that's a hit.   8. GM The Big Bad Wolf looked at Zhenschina-voin. If anything, it just seemed annoyed by her attack. It lunged forward, it's jaws opening into a massive array of fangs that bit down around her torso, before attempting to pull her up off the ground, effectively holding her in place as it started to shake her around like a piece of meat. The Third Little Pig squealed and grasped it's head, then fell to it's knees, before falling over to it's stomach. As Synapse watched it, it's entire body seemed to break, like glass shattering into tiny little pieces, revealing the unconscious older man from before. Aside from being unconscious, he seemed unharmed, despite the hits that he had been dealt. The small shards of glass dissolved almost immediately. The First Little Pig seemed annoyed by not being able to hurt Shadowborne. It pulled back a step, and then it squealed! The noise was excrutiating, almost paralyzing, even Shadowborne was caught in it. The Second Little Pig moved around the Wolf, making sure to stay out of sight from the rest.
  9. Well, Wolf was supposed to have gone first, but that's my bad! The Big Bad Wolf attacks Zhenschina-voin again: 22, that's a hit. Give me a DC29 TOU save @Tiffany Korta He uses Improved Grab to transition that into a grapple, so give me a DC39 Grapple check to avoid being grappled as well! Third Little Pig Will, -4 from Bruises: 10, it's down! The First Little Pig squeals loudly, which is an Area Effect Stun. Everyone give me a DC20 Reflex Save vs. Area followed by DC20/15 Fortitude vs. Stun. It affects Shadowborne too. Second Little Pig: Reflex: 17, failed Fort: 28, passed Big Bad Wolf: Reflex: 27, passed Fort: 22, passed Little Mermaid II: Reflex: 13, but she got Evasion 2, so still only DC15 for Stun. Fort: 30, passed The Second Little Pig sticks close to the wolf, but doesn't attack. @Kaede Kimura is up! Current setup: Shadowborne is engaging First Little Pig, in between it and the rest Little Mermaid is free, standing over the Third Little Pig that Synapse took down.     Go help Chitin? Pan paused. His mind sped up, racing, taking in everything around him. The crab monster was down there. So was that other guy that looked kind of like Ryder, but also not like him. A Dark Ryder? He had attacked Ryder, wanted to harm Pan's friends, but right now, he was fighting the crab monster together with Nat? Curious. He was reasonable, then. Slightly so, at least. The monster screamed at him, so maybe it's mistress had paid him some attention after all, but it didn't really matter, he moved out of the way. And he seemed to notice the few people in the audience that was still not out of there, noticing them. So... an enemy, but not that bad an enemy? So, Apocalypsette and her monster was the first issue to deal with. And getting everyone out. Then this Dark Ryder guy. "In a moment," he answered calmly to Eira. He moved in closer, letting go of his sword, grabbing a golden guitar out of the air instead, swinging it with both hands towards Apocalypsette's face. Once the hit had landed, he shouted out to everyone else. "The whole place is coming down! We need to get everyone out of here, now!" He looked to Eira, still smiling while he twirled the guitar. "Sorry, caught in the moment."

  12. "Huh. Pregnancy flowers," Ghost mused out loud, peeking around to look at the flowers near Fleur's feet. "That's... Wait. How are they even growing on the floor? Are they like, growing through the floor? On top of it?" He was brought out of his musings by Patriot's announcement, and quickly raised his name in a salute. "Good to meet you, Pat. Stay safe out there."

  14. GM The hits, the visual overload, everything was simply too much, and Matt went limp, dropping to the floor, at least until Luke reached him. "bastars... gon'..." U.S.Archer was muttering weakly on the ground, clenching and unclenching one his hands, while his other moved to his face. "... m'face..." His open hand held a small star shaped emblem, one that was blinking with a red light. Ashley was pretty sure it was some kind of signal device. Would they stay and wait to see whose backup would arrive? Or leave while they could?
  15. GM Tesla Atom put up another barrier as the robot swung it's tail. It bounced off the barrier, but that was all she seemed to be able to do to keep everything safe. She smiled as she saw Bee disappear into the creature's maw, while Rocket moved around it looking for weaknesses. The robot sputtered and moved as the internal damage from Bee's attacks caused it to stutter for a second. Then, it swung it's tail down, hitting where Rocket had stood a second before.
  16. ROCKET One piece? Right, one piece, sure, that was gonna be the important thing here. Taking the thing down and keeping it in one piece. "Mel!" She disappeared into the robot's maw. How? She was tiny, she could fit, wouldn't get chewed up, but why? Had to be some form of weakness. Jay rocketed ahead, moving around the robot, out of the way before it even tried a clumsy attack, looking for anything, a weakness, something he could use. "Mel! See if you can find some power couplings! I think that it's limbs can be powered down if we shut those down." Then he moved again, avoiding a tail. Looking back, Headmistress Atom didn't seem particularly bothered, like this was just an every day thing. Weird. Guess that was life now.
  17. DC25 TOU save. -5 to TOU from the internal attack: 21, injury! Rocket's gonna use his speed and Knowledge [Technology] to see if he can find anything on how to disable it. Taking 10 due to Quickness for a result of 25. The machine is energy inefficient, exposed power couplings to its limbs and tail. They can be disabled from the inside and outside with successful attacks. The dinobot tries to attack Rocket with it's tail: 23, a miss! 24 - Bee - 3HP - Unharmed 21 - Rocket - 4HP - Unharmed 5 - Dinobot - Injury (x1)
  18. Space Ranger III J'onn stopped firing, even if it was just for a moment. He held both ray guns ready, while he looked back and forth between Veronica and the man. "You're not falling for this, right?" She seemed pretty cool. Not the kind to fall for something like that. "I can take him out. One shot." He paused and grinned, motioning to his jetpack. "Or you grab me, and we fly off."
  19. GM The leader of the group shrieked as he saw the two jeeps being thrown at each other, then motioned with his hand for the last motorcycle driver to stop shooting. "You have no idea what that even is, do you?" he shouted back at Veronica. "You... you're just some brat! I have been looking for that tablet for years! Do you have any idea what it means to me?" He was obviously flustered, digging around for something in the jeep, before pulling it up. It was an old, worn sheet of paper. It looked like it was held together by tape. "L-look! It's just one piece! You only have that one piece! It won't do you any good on it's own, so please, just hand it over. Hand it over, we'll work together, come now?"

    Millenium Mall A summer afternoon in 2021 Charlie had learned a lot during his first year at Claremont. Time travel, juggling life with the rest of the Raven Family and life at the academy, and of course his own unstable little group that he had got together to deal with Casanova and his crew. Last time they'd met? Cas had tried to brainwash Muirne. Something had to be done about it, and well... not like the rest of his friends knew of his relationship with the headmistress. Charlie, Muirne, Leon and Luke were at the Millenium Mall, at a burger joint, sitting around a table. Just hanging out, talking. He hadn't been able to get a hold of everyone, but this should be fine, right? Lowering his burger after a bite, he finally asked the question he'd wanted to ask. "So... y'know that whole New Young Freedom thing that Casanova's got going? How about we start our own team?"

  23. Nevermore II "Alright! Go time, boss!" Charlie hadn't just been standing still while Alek had won the the woman over. His drone had been out there, scanning and keeping watch and... "Got enemies incoming, all around us. If we're gonna go, we gotta go now."
  24. GM The young woman looked unsure of the entire situation, her eyes darting between Raven and Nevermore, before finally settling on Raven. "A-alright." She breathed out, it looked like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. "But we have to get out of here, now! They know I'm gone, they're coming to find me! T-they will find us!" She was starting to panic again.
  25. Alright, since Canister's playing nice for the moment, Pan's gonna try to get rid of the crab first... by hitting Apocalypsette! Since Eira won the Grapple by more than 5, Apocalypsette should be Bound and Helpless, on top of the -4 Defense, so I'm gonna attempt to do a coup de grace with Pan's Forever Weapon. Since it's got Precise, I should have no issue avoiding Eira. That's a DC32 TOU save for Apocalypsette, followed by a DC22 Fort save if she takes damage (I'm not sure if the +5 crit bonus applies to the Fort save or not, but DC27 Fort Save if it does) Let me know how that goes, might wanna force some rerolls if Apocalypsette rolls too well!
