  4. Rooftops would be a clearer path, but you can use double movement to keep up if you want!
  5. Updated map. Raven is at the big X, B is the big guy, N for Nevermore, A for Arrow. I'll try to do a post tomorrow and ooc stuff tomorrow.
  6. And sorry for my delay! @Cubismo The big guy sent the Eastern-most container flying into the wall. If you want to move to that position, you're gonna have to pass him, and he'll get a Do you still want to move past him? If you want to move to another position and use your rolls from above, that's fine, but if you move past him he gets a free attack (though with the 50% miss chance from the obscure). I'll try to make an updated map soon.
  7. @Dr Archeville The signal seems to be coming from an antenna at the top of the building, with an electronic signal being transfered to it by wires from about 10 floors below that.
  8. GM Maybe they could hear Alice, maybe they couldn't, but at any rate, the so far hidden assailants kept attacking. With the grenade having had little effect, it seemed they were back to the stun rounds, shots raining down all over Shooting Star. Two would hit, one of them right in her face, too. The shots seemed to come from all around her, trying to push her back, keep her on defense. They seemed content to just stay back and take their time. Something was coming, heading towards Shooting Star. Whether she would notice or not in time was an entirely different question.
  9. All 4 fire at you again: 24 23 7 8 Two hits. The first is a crit due to Improved Critical. Give me a DC15 Fort Save vs. Stun and a DC20 Fort Save vs Stun, then I'll follow up with the backup coming in at Initiative 31 Notice save DC15 to spot them again, unless you try something else. A separate DC10 to notice something else, check the spoiler if you make it 31 - ? 17 - Shooting Star - 0HP - Unharmed 7 - Attackers - x4? - Unharmed
  10. Initiative: 10 Sorry, I broke the streak! Gonna give @RedSpine a day or two, then I'll roll for New Young Freedom. Feel free to do a pre-combat post each reacting to the GM and Charlie's question if you want!
  11. Yes. But people inside them will probably be annoyed.
  12. Ship takes 10 as an object, for total of 23 That's an Injury to the mast, and dividing the ship into sections for the Hull and the Mast, damage wise. The mast can't be dazed and its an object, so no bruise. Give me an IC. 28 - Thunderbird - 1HP - Unharmed 25 - Forever Boy - 6HP - Unharmed 23 - Angelik - 3HP - Unharmed 23 - Sky Pirates - Ship: -- Hull: Injury (x1) -- Mast: Injury (x1) - Ship Crew: Bruise (x1), Dazed (1 rnd) - Pirates on Ground (x4): Unharmed - Teleport Gate Cannonballs on Ground (x2): 1 destroyed, 1 unharmed 14 - Crystal-Gazer - 2HP - Unharmed
  13. GM The kids had been divided into three groups. Each rolled a small die, which made the giant dice move and roll until they hit their target. All rolled at once, meaning they should all move at the same time. Valeria was in Shift's group, rolling the six and quickly fist pumping after it. Quirk smirked at Pol's question and shook his finger. "First you move, then your square triggers! Let's see what happens!" First Shift, in the lead. The very ground on the blue square under them opened up, moving up like liquid plastic threatening to swallow them! Behind them, lightning coursed across Spaceman, catching him even above the square, creating a cartoonish effect with his skeleton becoming visible while he was shocked. Finally, Nightscale... Nothing happened. "Aw, no need for last place to get hit! Remember, the winning team gets to go! The rest of you gets to have tons of fun with me!"
  14. Spaceman The kids had enthusiasm, at least. His feet hovering slightly above the floor, Spaceman looked towards the kids as they rolled his die. It tumbled about, until it finally ended on a 3. He flew forward, passing by Nightscale, but only getting halfway to Shift. Was it a good thing that he was between them? At least they could both hear him. "Be on your guard. Look for any openings, anything you can do within the rules of the game. Be creative." He had his own ideas, but not yet. They were still too far away from the end. He couldn't let Quirk guess what he would do just yet.
  15. GM The street was far from clear, filled with cards that blocked Shift's progress along the street. Chimera would face similar issues running through the streets, but it would be easier to navigate on foot, at least. From above, Ghost would not face the same issues, at least. Dr. Midas, the man in the golden armor, looked back over his shoulder at the roar of the motorcycle that were following them as they flew through the city. He motioned with his hand towards the weird bike, and one of the Silver Centurions broke away from the pack, turning towards their pursuer. The last two Silver Centurions followed closely behind.
  16. Ghost Initiative: 18 Dr. Midas Initiative: 19 Silver Centurions Initiative: 8 19 - Shift - 3HP - Unharmed 19 - Dr. Midas - Unharmed 18 - Ghost - 4HP - Unharmed 13 - Chimera - 3HP - Unharmed 8 - Silver Centurions Silver Centurion A - Unharmed Silver Centurion B - Unharmed Silver Centurion C - Unharmed The bad guys are flying at 250 feet per turn and they got a headstart of 500 feet so far, so you gotta hustle to catch up! @Heritage is up!
  17. GM While the group prepared, Shields didn't wait around. Despite, or maybe because of, Toxin's attempt at leaving the kids alone, he walked up to them and spoke. The group could hear him clearly now, as he spoke to the three teenagers. "You're looking for trouble, aren't you?" All three froze for just a second. Luke, Shift, Zach and Charlie would probably recognize how Zach had acted when Sebastian had mind controlled him. "Look, over there?" Sebastian pointed to a nearby couple. "Go cause some trouble." The three teens paused for a moment. Just a brief moment. Then they all moved, starting to run towards two men in the twenties that had been walking through the park, hand in hand.
  18. Alright, unless you don't want to attack, let's see some initiative rolls.
  19. Nevermore II "Yeah." Charlie replied to Shift. They were right. His normally affable demeanor had vanished. It was like a shadow had fallen over his face while he looked ahead. "This sucks, but we need some kind of proof." Words weren't enough, not even if they recorded them. They needed to actually see what was going on. "Everyone, get ready. If they touch those kids, we move in and stop them. We gotta be smart about this, we don't be able to do anything if Casanova gets us to attack each other, so he gotta be a priority. I got a few tricks to keep him busy, but I'll need you to keep the others off my back, alright?" He was already reaching into his belt, pulling out a few small pellets in his left hand, while aiming for a nearby tree with the grappling hook on his right. "How do you all feel about fighting in the dark?"
  20. Forever Boy While Micah flew towards the ship, golden dust shimmered across Pan's form, revealing his uniform and mask. He looked to Micah, then to the others. "The cannonballs bring the pirates here. We need to destroy them, or the entire crew will reach the ground." He was gone between the blink of eyes, leaving nothing but a trail of golden dust behind as he moved towards the cannonball the furthest away, dodging the pirates on the ground along the way. Pixie Dust gathered into a golden two-handed hammer in his hand while he moved. Stopping right above the cannonball, he quickly slammed it into the cannonball. As it fell into pieces, it released a wisp of faint green smoke.
  21. Reflex for Area for the Ship: 14 Ship TOU save: 21 The ship cannot be blinded or deafened. Reflex Save vs Area for the Crew: 25 TOU Save for Crew: 13 The crew is dazed. Reflex Save vs. Dazzle: 22 --- Pan uses Quick Change to get into his costume. Move Action to Fly to one of the canonballs, Standard Action to attack with Forever Weapon in the shape of a hammer: 19 Cannonball TOU save: 22 vs DC27 The cannonball is destroyed. --- Current status: Micah is in the air by the Sky-Pirate ship and has damaged it, while blinding and deafening the crew. Pan has destroyed a cannonball with a teleport gate on the ground. 4 pirates are on the ground. @Avenger Assembled is up 28 - Thunderbird - 1HP - Unharmed 25 - Forever Boy - 6HP - Unharmed 23 - Angelik - 3HP - Unharmed 23 - Sky Pirates - Ship: Injury (x1) - Ship Crew: Bruise (x1), Dazed (1 rnd) - Pirates on Ground (x4): Unharmed - Teleport Gate Cannonballs on Ground (x2): 1 destroyed, 1 unharmed 14 - Crystal-Gazer - 2HP - Unharmed
  22. Ghost Casper was not having a good day. He had lost his job at the pizza place. They really didn't like that he had to skip out on a few deliveries to chase some bad guys, and he was behind on child payments again. All he wanted to do was to get a hotdog from Jake's down at Wading Way. Take his time, enjoy it. The best hotdog cart in all of Freedom, as far as Casper was concerned. And now, as he stood with the bounty in his hands... and then Dr. Midas and his Silver Centurions came crashing out of the bank behind him, smashing into the street and taking off with their cash. Casper looked down at his feet and the remains of his hotdog on the sidewalk, covered in shards of glass. He felt like he could cry. "Aw, man..." Turning off the street and running into a corner, Casper opened his jacket and pulled open his shirt, revealing a blue ghost logo on a white and grey uniform. Midas just had to go and make it personal, didn't he?
