  1. Revenant I'm literally grabbing what at hand and attacking the Ice Dragon Move Action : Grab Chair and move to the center of the arena Standard Action throw chair at Ice Dragon 1d20+7=24 That should be a hit that's a save vs DC 23.
  2. She raised the beer and presented it to the assembled pub goers. “Welcome one and all to this wonderful establishment. And well enjoy yourself.†She then sat down at the bar and allowed people to cluster in around her, something she got use to as her brief career as a star. It had also taught her another skill, she allowed herself to go on automatic listen and answering question in a polite yet polite manner. But mainly she was listening to the buzz of conversation going on around her, trying to hear anything useful. Oh and she was enjoying the pint, even if she was nursing it just a little.
  3. Without thinking she began to run towards the sound of trouble, yes its true wiser steadier heads would have waited and accessed the situation. But she had always been the kind of person to jump straight into a situation and then work out how to react on the spot. Still there was something she was getting this strange feeling that something was just off. Over the last few months she had learned to trust these feelings so she paused at the mouth of the alley. “Hello there do you want to tell me exactly what you are doing?â€
  4. The Vatican didn’t someone mention some problems between them and the Empire? Out o habit she bought out her phone to call someone for help, until she remembered it was probably outside her service provider. And roaming charges must be a bitch between dimensions! Pretending the glass front was a very fancy and weird mirror she touched up her makeup before returning it to her drawstring purse. She made sure to thank the poor waiter for everything on the way out. Finally back on the street she hailed a Hansom back to the pub whilst trying to remember some of those east end sing along tunes.
  5. Agnes softly landed and wandered over to the other two and slightly worried look on her face. But only before one last scan of the area to make sure that none of the assailants were still loitering around to cause trouble. “Hey are you both okay?†as she wandered over, a concerned look on her face. “Hi I’m Young Britannia, hence the accent. It complicated but rest assure here I am.†She carefully knelt down beside her two colleges. “So can anyone tell me exactly who that nutter was? And why exactly he had a major beef with us?â€
  6. She liked the rain; it was the only weather that affected her in any way. Since she woke up the cold and heat didn’t seem to register in the slightest. But even she got wet in the rain. She had spent a productive night at the soup kitchen at Our Lady of Mercy a lot of the homeless were beginning to trust her more. Already she had heard a few rumors from the folk there, including a worrying one that someone was looking for her. Actually she had been expecting it for some time having never adopted a costume and with her distinctive eyes some must have by now connected the dots and was hunting her down.
  7. “Okay playtime over.†Her frustration was beginning to show, after all this she was no nearer to finding anything out. Well except that poor Bloody Nora was a real person who had a major problem with her. She seemed to think that they were connected in some way, maybe via her so called master. Out of anger and frustration her blow was wide and didn’t endanger Nora in the slightest. Nora set gave her an evil smile causing Lucy face to contort in a mask of grim determination. Then an idea struck her, she was going about this the wrong way.
  8. She pulled out a hankie and dabbed at her eyes. “Oh I’m sorry to intrude, it was rude of me but…†she threw herself to the table and sob loudly. “It is just that he’s my betrothed, but he keeps going out at odd hour to see people. I think… I think he’s seeing another woman.†Was she over doing this, oh well lets go for broke. She grabbed his hand and stared at him with her red rimmed eyes. “If only you could avert my fears about my poor Jack.†Well she was no Irene Adler, but hopefully her amateur dramatic would be enough to fool the poor waiter.
  9. Talking over try to hit Nora, 1d20+10=14. Well I did say try...
  10. Can I play the worried spouse and use my still remaing Bluff bonus?
  11. Agnes sat for a few minutes replaying the conversation for any clues of his possible guilt. Damn Columbo made this all seem so simple, then again you see the murderer at the start. And it should really be Holmes considering the London she was in. As she though she called over the waiter. “Excuse me, sorry I didn't get your name, but could I have a glass of water?†Wait this was his favourite restaurant, when the waiter returned she gave her best smile. “Does Mr Trowell come here often?â€
  12. Lucy had almost gone for an all black clothing but had finally relented to a tasteful red number with some amazing embroidery work. And she had to admit that the whole costume did look good on her. The sunglasses almost ruined the look but she didn't want people freaked out by her eyes it would ruin the whole day. She stepped out of the changing booth and gave a little twirl for Johnny. “So what do you think do I look like a princess?†She didn't have a chance to hear the reply as just then she was whispered away by the guards. Lucy managed to turn and blow him a little kiss. “Wish me luck. I think they are going to need all the help they can get!â€
  13. So he was a talker that was good that meant she had time. Time to formulate a plan. She took off her shoes and massaged her feet while they sorted out her drink, an innocent action unlikely to cause a second glance. It also allowed her to test how much strength she still had, not enough it seemed, she made sure she put the shoes back on in case she had to move quick. She also undid her jacket, to test the strength of the arcane necklace. However hard she tried she could seem to find the necklace, some kind of magical defense she guessed. She sipped the whiskey, not bad but then again she use to drink stuff brewed in a bathtub, and scanned the room looking for her chance to escape. She held up the cigarette for someone to light. “So what's the story? Why are you looking for revenge?â€
  14. Toughness save : 1d20+11=30, no damage by a hairs breath!
  15. Ah she expected some of this pure culture clash, but what could she do? Saying anything would arouse suspicion. She’d just had to play along and hope he didn’t notice her discomfort. She have to deal with the smoking too. “Why Mr Trowel I’d love a Rum Totty. But just a small one.†Never having started the habit she had been spared the joys of standing out in cold enjoying a ciggie. But her it was as natural as breathing she guessed. But it would be rude to just refuse out of hand. She put on her best pained face. “I’m afraid my good doctor had forbid me cigarettes. Some mad cap idea from the Americas I’m afraid. But it does seem to be working.â€
  16. One more round of full defensive, then I'll let her have it!
  17. Would she have turned out like this if it wasn’t for others? If Silhouette hadn’t been there to bring her to her senses a creature of almost pure instincts. But that made her difficult to fight, Lucy didn’t think she could defeat Nora and there was still so much to find out about what happened. She wasn’t sure she was happy with the answers she had discovered so far. “Nora I don’t know what happened, I was incapacitated long ago. I don’t want to hurt you I just want to help.†She just hoped it was enough.
  18. Ow everything hurt; she had forgotten how much living took a toll in you. She was full of that nervous energy adrenaline give you, hopefully she’d live to regret it later. But she had to keep focused she wasn’t that keen on dying twice. “I remember everything about that night. Have a little reminder right here.†She pointed to the scar on her forehead. Even her voice sounded off. She thought she recognized the type, a massive ego and need to talk a need to gloat. Keep him talking buy some time that was her best option. “Don't I get a last request? At least a glass of water, or hopefully something stronger. And I believe a last cigarette is traditional.â€
  19. She wanted to just dive into her meal remembering she hadn’t had anything to eat all day. However she was sure that ladies didn’t wolf down there food. So she tried to eat the food as demurely as possible. “I didn’t understand exactly what the good Doctor said. But a few more days rest and my voice should be as good as new. It may even improve my singing voice.†She waved he fork in the air. “Of cause you must come to the first show, I insist. I’ll arrange for Mr Peabody have some tickets on the door.†She was looking forwards to seeing his face when she told him she had given away tickets. “Oh say you’ll come?â€
  20. I'm going for Sense Motive for that 1 point advantage . 1d20+7=14, bah! I was planning on more round of full defensive anyhow...
  21. The OOC for Revenant kicker here.
  22. She was meant to be a Revenant a spirit of revenge on those that had ended her life, or the survivor of the mob family. But things had happened she had thanks to others become a hero and began to help people. And revenge seemed less important, but a crime family, like any family, have long memories when it comes to revenge. She even made it easy for then helping out in the soup kitchen in Broadway, a strong hold of the Mafia’s legitimate business. The soups kitchen was off limits but the rest of the strip was fair game. All it took was a scream for help in the alley, a simple ambush. When she awoke Lucy could tell that something was wrong, it was too cold. It was cold, she hadn’t felt the cold since she woken up before. Woken up dead. She tried to lift herself to have a look around briefly seeing a group of men watching her. Before one of them struck her around the face, knocking her again to the floor. She tasted blood in her mouth, but all she could think of was how healthy her skin looked. One of the gangsters lifted up her face and looked into her big brown eyes. "Long time ago one of our family tried to kill you. Guess I'm going to have to finish the job."
  23. Damn and I finally had something for TH. Oh and I don't have access to my computer so I'm happy for you to start my kicker off. If not I'll set it up in the morning.
