  1. They were both met by the host of this new show a pretty Asian woman by the name of Ami Hu. She seem quiet friendly as she explained, mostly for Liz’s benefit, that they would do a take of the show’s introduction before the band was introduced and a couple of takes, if necessary, of them play before, if time, she would carry out an interview with Agnes. It wasn’t long before they were show to their places and recording of the show began. “Hello ladies and gentlemen I’m Ami Hu and welcome to my new show.†There was a pause as the audience applauded. “I’m happy to say I get the honor of opening the show by a track by an UK artist who has made Freedom City her second home. Ladies and gentlemen I give you….†At that point the studio was plunged into darkness, whilst from the gloom came another voice. “Please that British Invasion stuff is sooo last century. Now you have the honor, no the privilege to be present during the unveiling of Freedom Cities newest Super Villain…†a single spotlight illuminated a figure at the back of the room “…MERGE TROIS!â€
  2. Agnes looked a little sheepish and tried to cover this by bursting into action. “Let’s get going there start to panic soon. You know one of the advantages of my change is that I can potter around in these heels without feeling a thing.†It was a few steps towards the studio before she decided to explain her rush. “Since my return it’s kind of been just me and my Manager, she’s not the biggest in the world in fact quite the opposite. But she was just about the only one who would represent e after the diva I’d become off of my earlier fame. Ah here we go.†The studio was quite a decent size the stage being split into two, part being the desk where the interviews were going to take place with a modern almost new room feel. Behind the desk was a massive video screen where images could be displayed. The rest of the stage was a performance area where Agnes band were already setting up.
  3. Ah the peril of posting without laying everything out . Frances National Personification has since the Revolution has been Marianne. I was thinking that back in the 1790'sduring the French Revolution the National Convention worried that Gallia could form a counter revolution imprisoned her through magical means. As to who and why I'm saving that for another time. As for the much safer looking Roman vs Nazi thread I'm thinking of a small exploratory force so waves of soldier to wade through and maybe one or two surprises. It all depends on who and how many are interested in taking part.
  4. Sounds cool. Amend or add a new post to that effect and I'll take it from there.
  5. I've been thinking over a few possible thread ideas and I'd thought I'd share to see if anyone would be interested. 1. The players get involved with helping a Roman Parallel stop an invasion from a Nazi world. 2. Gallia the former spirit of France, imprisoned during the Revolution, is freed and sets about getting revenge on well everyone.
  6. Blodeuwedd An Arrow into the Air Blod on the Dancefloor Revenant Meet the Master The Sins we all share You're a Wizard, Harry Young Britannia Medical Maladies Right by my side Slave to Time GM Gallia Falling, part 1 - The Death of Kings Starlight were meant to fly (points to YB first, rest to Blod) Merge Trois (point to Revenant)
  7. Horray! His grapple roll 1d20+15=20. He's all your what do you want to do?
  8. Attack Roll 1d20+8-2=19, I suspect that's just a miss but just in case 1d20=19. Yay lucky me that defiantly a miss .
  9. Sensing that the tide of battle had begun to turn Agnes just couldn’t help but give a little smile and her aura shone just a little bit brighter not enough to dispel the darkness but it was enough. She let off a series of careless little blasts, not really paying much attention of where the blast was travelling. “You’ll never win you know, because there will always be people like us to stop you. I’ve stopped your type before and I’ll do it again. So you know there is nothing wrong with surrendering to us right now, it’ll save you some time and a lot of pain.â€
  10. Lucy listened along carefully nodding she hoped, in all the right places. So this was all looking like someone with a problem against organized crime, the poor officers just got in the way. She had been making an effort to get up to date with modern crime families but that had all fallen by the wayside with the search for her own origins. She lent in a whispered to Starlight “I think we should try to find out how the criminal were connected. Do you have one of those portable telephones to contact the others?â€
  11. “Well we use trained mundane to search out potential artefacts, we don’t have the trained mages to check everything. Besides I think this guy’s action spooked them.†“WILL YOU TWO BE QUIET.†The massive Avian swung his warhammer in a massive arc, managing to total miss the pair of them, it did however manage to put off Blodeuwedd well-timed counter attack which missed the foe by a wide margin. “Though now might not be the time to discuss where the statue came from. Maybe after we deal with this fellow.â€
  12. Blessed's attack 1d20+8=12 Blod's attack 1d20+8=17 That went well, back round to EH
  13. Blodeuwedd wasn’t quite sure what to make of some of Tona statements. She’d heard stories about dumb American hick who didn’t have much education, but there was also stories like that about Wales and she knew defiantly knew that wasn’t true. And Tona didn’t strike her as practically stupid. But then Tona was allowed to keep mysteries just as much as she was. And maybe her new roommate would tell her more about herself. “Subito likes to start all his tours at the library, but I must admit it’s has quite an impressive collection. It’s got one of the best translations of the Mabinogion available plus decent copies of Sun Tzu and Machiavelli.†She knew the copy of Mabinogion was the best version she’d pestered the Librarians for ages until they got a copy.
  14. Lavender look thought for a few second expressing her thought out loud. “Well the Grue like to hide their presence until there ready to strike… and we’re at the extreme range of our sensor. But the Grue will want them†she pointed at the holo of the Lor ship “to know they’re there. So we might have a chance.†She barked a series of orders and the rest of the crew went to work with a grim determination. After a few tense minutes the display flashed and bought up a grainy image from a smaller Gas Giant orbiting Soo-Tine VII. It was impossible to make out any details of the size or class of the craft but it was defiantly a Grue Saucer.
  15. Weirdly all my character have something to do with magic in one way or enough, though collecting magical artifacts is more Blodeuwedd's forte. I might even be tempted to help out and GM something, if nobody better come along, though I'd like to hear a little more of what you have planned.
  16. Blodeuwedd's already expressed an admiration for the sword-fighters of Freedom so i can totally see her coming to a place like this to brush up on her skills.
  17. Blessed : 22, Unharmed, n/a Blodeuwedd : 14, Unharmed, 2 HP El Heraldo : 4, Unharmed, 5 HP He's going to try to hit the little man that does all the talking 1d20+8=17, so a DC 25 Toughness Save Blodeuwedd tries to hit Blessed 1d20+8=26 DC 23 Toughness Save, a he rolls 1d20+10=27. So he's fine. Back round to EH
  18. Blodeuwedd turned to Subito and clued in him to what she suspect was happening as simply as possible. “I thought so, it seems the artifact is nothing of the sort, it’s some sort of mechanical device. He must have been tracking it down somehow.†The man had worked himself into a frenzy over his apparent slight and was hardly listening to either of them instead he continued his, rather loud, rant.. “I SHALL PUNISH YOU, PUNISH YOU BOTH, FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE.†And if to punctuate this statement he caught El Heraldo with a mighty blow with his Warhammer. As she spoke she watched the man movements to try to figure out his fighting style, and finally with deadly efficiently made a strike with Dyrnwyn. It struck true but skittered harmlessly off his armor.
  19. Toughness save 1d20+10=11, you've obviously taken all his luck . A little bit early to take him down so a GM Fiat and you get a HP!
  20. Blodeuwedd looked relax as she started to climb. “You sure you’ve never meet my Tain. He’s a fan of such incentives.†She sounded confident but after a few minutes it was one thing was obvious. That this girl was a better climber than her, and despite her knowing almost every foot of this wall she was going to lose. She considered for a few second just dropping from the wall, gravity would do the job just fine, but that would be rather unfair. Instead she lost with what she hoped was with a certain amount of good grace. “Well my arrow cutting is a little rust but I’ll give it a try. Do you want to go now or later?â€
  21. The bridge was darkly lit and dominated by a large holographic table displaying what was apparently displaying the destination system. “Ah there you are. We’re close enough to receive telemetry from the Tine system, and we picked up this.†She tapped an area of the display and it bought up an image of a starship, a massive slither of a craft that looked massive even at this scale. “The Glorious Dawn pride of the Lor fleet. You don’t bring out a battleship like that for a simple local disagreement. That suggests another stellar power is involved here.†She gave a wide grin “Wouldn’t it be a shame if we came out of hyperspace too close to that ship?â€
  22. So the Initiative are : Blessed : 22, Unharmed, n/a Blodeuwedd : 14, Unharmed, 2 HP El Heraldo : 4, Unharmed, 4 HP So Blessed goes first, so he'll attack EH with his hammer, 1d20+8=10. That's not going to work. Blod going to move into position and draw her weapon ready for action.
  23. The massive man swung his hammer at El Heraldo with more enthusiasm than skill. It did encourage the crowd to take a step or two backward. “I SHALL HURT YOU HUMAN FOR THE HARM YOUHAVE DONE TO OUR CHILDREN.†It didn’t take Blodeuwedd long to figure out exactly what was going on. Did this city have anything like a normal night? It would be a massive coincidence if the two incidents weren’t connected. “Stay here. And put that away, we don’t want to irritate him anymore than necessary.†As she spoke she pulled on her goggles. Running towards the action she built up speed, vaulting the bar separating the VIP area from the main dance floor. As she did her cloak unfurled around her so it flowed around her as she landed. She had scoffed when Tain had made her practice acrobatic in heels, but now she appreciated the effort. As she did a perfect landing beside El Heraldo she drew Dyrnwyn which filled the area with its unnatural light. “Friend of yours?â€
  24. Lucy tilted her head to one side and gave a little shrug. “Sorry I can’t be of any help, but I skipped the whole death thing and when straight into being un-dead.†Lucy threw a punch towards the necromancer. It wasn’t quite as fancy as other methods she had seen over the last couple of months, but it did seem to work in most circumstances. It seemed to connect with a very satisfying sound. She gave another of her little smiles “I didn’t know that we had to pass a test for the whole death thing. I didn’t even manage to pass the practical.â€
  25. A simple straight forward unarmed attack 1d20+12=22, that should be a hit for a DC 27 Toughness save.
