  1. Liberty Park, 13th July 2012 GM Post The police of Freedom City were by a large a special bunch. They tended to see more weird stuff than any other Police department in America, if not the world. So when with a large pop a vortex opened open in Liberty Park the two Mounted Officer just kept an eye on the phenomena and waited for some heroes to show up. Compared to most the figure that emerged was rather normal. She looked like an everyday soldier but there were differences to the uniform she wore. The helmet and body armour, harking back to those worn many centuries again by Roman Legionnaires. Plus as well as the rifle she wore on her back at her hip was a holstered a Gladius. She didn’t seem violent so they weren’t overly concerned and could only look at each other as she spoke to them in a strange tongue.
  2. Blodeuwedd!Tona couldn’t help but frown, she wasn’t quite sure quite sure about this. She knew they were meant to be having fun but this just felt wrong to try and trick Mali. “I can see this being suitable for fooling your enemies or gathering intel, I do something similar often mysef. But should we really being trying to trick a friend? I don’t want to sound like a killjoy, but it just doesn’t seem well right.†She stared down at her, well Tona’s, feet feeling a little self-conscious for even voicing her concerns.
  3. Blodeuwedd traipsed behind the party still feeling a little embarrassed at her accidental innuendo. “You know not everything is a competition Tona. We’re just good friends that all.†though even she didn’t think she sounded convincing. She hadn’t quite worked out her feeling about Subito, this was all still new to her. Subito’s stories about the haunted shadow caused her to roll her eyes. “I told you before Subito there is no magic here and it’s not haunted. The same way that the Big Oak out front isn’t trying to eat Crow. And trust me I should know its what I do.â€
  4. Revenant flicking through the book to see if she can find a reference to something similar. She's got all night so I'll Take 20 on her Knowledge (Arcane) for a total of 24. If that doesn't help she'll hit the street to search for info on this new drug. Taking my time again so a 18 on Gather Info and 26 on Streetwise as needed. The many advantages of not needing to sleep .
  5. “Okay then I’ll see how he’s doing in the morning. I could do with the Detective who looking into the case they might have found something to save me time.†She gave her best winning smile “And thanks for helping out tonight. Your welcome to come back anytime, the sister are always looking volunteers.†Once she had made sure to get his contact detail and made sure he got saftly to his car, she made a leisurely walk back to her home. By now most of the local criminals knew about her and she didn’t have any trouble. She knew what had to be done next; she’d have to check The Book. The theories and thought of an Ancient Vampire wasn’t something to dip into lightly. She sat herself on the roof of her building as normal and cracked open the book and tried to look for evidence that this was all part of the Master’s grand plan.
  6. Wait what was she thinking? Maybe this chain was having more of an effect on her than she realized. With some effort she put the chain in her bag and sent it to whatever dimension it all went, hopefully far enough away to reduce it influence. “Yeah of cause, just make sure he’s properly bound and preferably gagged. All his babbling is giving me a headache. I’m not sure where Broken Crow is, last I remember him was in the 18th Century. We might be able to put a call out on the Astral Plane for him, but I’m still fatigued from everything that’s happened today and I’d prefer to do it behind the Union lines.â€
  7. Between a few other investigations Blodeuwedd managed to spend time in Red Benny. Whilst she could make herself to obvious, even a place like Red Benny’s would panic if they found out how young she really was. She could still skulk around the place and get to know the regular and learn all that was going at the bar. All she had to do was play and little pool and be good enough to beat people. As she’d been taught sometime the best way to hide was to be obvious and it wasn’t long before she was learned all she could about the place and the existence of the mysterious door. So tonight she’d waited until the place had closed, changed into her costume and snuck down into the basement so she could discover what was behind the door.
  8. The one advantage of going to a Victorian themed convention was that everyone was so polite all the men bowed and the women curtsied (and a few of the bolder one also bowed) as Lord Steam passed. To allot of them he was a bonafide hero they just played being Victorians for the weekend, he’d actually lived the part. As many people showed in an interest in Bessie a steam ages wonder in its own right. A small group of steam-heads gathered round the car and asked Kamil polite questions about its performance. Into this sashayed Blodeuwedd glorious in a magnificent Deep Blue Gown looking for all the world like a Victorian lady. Even her normal goggles, perched on top of a long flowing hair styled into ringlets, looked perfect for the entire ensemble. She stood there gracefully looking around for Subito, and also looking for potential trouble spots and hiding places.
  9. Lucy continued to dish up food to the homeless while trying to process exactly what the doctor had said. Her medical knowledge was pretty lacking and about 90 years out of date but she thought she’d gotten the basics of it. “So they somehow got filled with Undead blood which filled them full of life. Enough to kill them. Unfortunately I think I know what going on.†It had all the hallmarks of The Master, but what was he trying to do exactly? Unless he was trying to repeat the happy accident that created her? “Have the police investigated these cases? And do you think that the man is well enough to see visitors?â€
  10. Constance eyes widened with surprise “So you are a philosopher among your other talents. I am very tempted to abandon our task and head instead for the Café Procope where we could listen to the teachings of Diderot, Voltaire and Rousseau. And drink much finer coffee than this dive.†She sipped her coffee “Unfortunately far too often I must answer to those of a more political bent.†She seemed genuine sad at this thought “Though I suspect that some of those masters will taste that bitter fruit. And maybe with that last sacrifice Madame Guillotine will be sated.†She pause aware perhaps that she may have said too much, or was she despite her earlier promises trying to asses Rene’s dedication to the revolution? As she sipped her coffee her face again gave away nothing. “But alas back to business. Are you aware of the succession of the Royal household that this Gallia is trying to restore?â€
  11. Agnes gave a wicked little smile. “Wow you’re so caught up in your little World of Hate you have no idea exactly who we are. We’re bloody embodiments of spirits that have existed down the ages. I’ve personally known at least two Master Mages. The one active now should be able to help us out just fine.†She was pacing and waving her arms wildly she was unashamedly showing off “Or I can just drop a message to my past self, get them to send one of the Time traveling heroes to pick us up. I could even pull a Bill and Ted and just pick up a time belt we’d had planted earlier.†Okay maybe she didn’t have quite that much pull among the hero community, but it felt nice to deflate the idiots ego. “You know maybe I was wrong, maybe we should leave you for the villagers. It means one less person around to mess about with the timeline.†The scary part was she wasn’t quite sure if she’d meant it as a threat or a promise.
  12. “Of cause Citizen deSaens.†She accepted his arm and allowed him to escort her from the office “I have over the last few years developed a taste for Coffee and I know the perfect place to discuss our plans.†Once on the street she hailed a Fiacre and gave the driver an address in the 3rd Arrondissement. They rode in silence for a while before Constance spoke. “Rene, may I call you Rene? You of of cause call me Constance. There is something’s you must understand; there may be an occasions when I may not be able to tell you everything that is going on. It is a curse of my profession. But unlike Citizen Robespierre I will not be testing or judging you on your every word. You are not, as far as I can tell, a traitor and you have nothing to fear from Committee of General Security, I do not plan to send you to the Guillotine. Indeed if we are to work together I require that you speak you mind. Though certain options about the Republic you may choose to keep to yourself…â€
  13. A few second later a voice by his ear showed that Blodeuwedd was now her. “You handled that well, I hope you don’t mind taking all the credit.†She stepped out so she was now beside him “I’ve had another word with Nash and found out all I could about this little artefact.†She gestured to the statue now sitting in her bag “I’m going to try and find out who sent it and why, if I do are you interested in tagging along?†There was an slightly pause after that and then a slightly more Cerys like voice asked. “I know this little diner, they know how to make a decent tea and know how to fry an egg properly. How about I treat you to breakfast, as thanks for the help you've given.â€
  14. Blodwuwedd stood beside Subito watching the two work out, her arms cross as she’d expressed her thoughts to him “I’m not really into the whole physical strength I’m more of a Gymnast myself. I’m good enough that if I wanted I could compete professionally. May some time I could show you how flexible I can be?†Realizing exactly what she had just said she blushed a bright crimson, she was about to stutter out some kind of apology when Tona question saved the day. “Well it not quite the same as fighting real people, as good as it’s meant to be, after a while you begin to see patterns in there fighting styles.†God she was turning into her Taid “But I think you need permission to use the simulator, they don’t just let anyone train in it.â€
  15. “Yeah we’re just waiting on Mali, she’s normal fairly…†As part of her combat training they had concentrated on teaching her to reading body language, a skill set that could be very useful in many other situations including social ones. She couldn’t always read Kit, her body language could be quite inhuman sometimes, but right now she was broadcasting her intentions load and clear. “Kit you not cheating are you? You are cheating! Give me that card right now!†she went to grab the card from her classmate “If you’re going to do it, do it properly or not at all.â€
  16. Most people wouldn’t plan out a night out like a military operation. Then again Blodeuwedd wasn’t like most people. By the time she’s finish her morning run she’d decided on something casual, by the end of the first period she’d decided on a simple summer dress and a leather jacket. Them by lunch she’d decided on flats, especially as she would be the tallest of the group, she’d settled on boots both practical and comfortable. The rest of the day was spent spend deciding on what equipment she was going to take. The suit was a given, it was providing her clothes after all, and the goggles easily fitted in the bag. She’d considered bringing Dyrnwyn hidden like her last big night out but decided not to, after all she wasn’t expecting trouble, she settled for a couple of throwing knives in the bag. They were ceramic so shouldn’t cause any trouble. After all that she was early but decided to hide for a while. She’d watch the pair arrived and waited for the right moment to appear. She knew better than to just appear to Tona that tended to hurt, but Kit on the other hand. “I’d be careful with those cards; she can cut a fly on half if she puts her mind to it.†She whispered into Kit’s ear.
  17. The siren song of the chain didn’t exactly fall of deaf ears. Not long ago Agnes was a complete diva who cared nothing except what she wanted. And the Spirit of Justice? Well people forget that with justice there was someone had to do all the messy business. And real justice, the justice the spirit represented, didn’t always happen in a clean courtroom. “So you’re a half-breed? That must really burn that you're not a pure blood.†It was meant to sound off the cuff but the tone was harsher than she had intended. “Let’s go I want to be somewhere much safer than this as soon as possible.â€
  18. Agnes managed to answer Jubatus’s question just before the entered the office. “I’m not sure I’ve never tries, let’s hope we never have to find out.†She listened to Dr Highflower and even gave a little smile, it was nice now and again to get a little a respect and she just wished they had the time to enjoy the complement fully. “Unfortunately it may have gone beyond just a theoretical idea and people lives are seriously in jeopardy. If it helps I can give you a rundown of all the patients I’ve seen, though it was a pretty mixed bag.â€
  19. “In that case what you still doing here? Don’t worry I can look after myself.†She waited until Starlight was out of sight before she leant on a nearby wall and crossed her arms. She wanted to look around for who was stalking them but it wouldn’t help, and it was more likely to react if it thought she knew where it was. “I don’t know about you but I can wait here all night if needs be, and if you going to try and hurt anybody then you’re going to have to go through me. So what are you waiting for? Let’s just get this over with.â€
  20. “I suggest we resume searching for the source as soon as possible. And if I may I have something to say to this creature…†She leaned in towards the man and switched to her native Welsh. <â€How DARE you have the gall to think you speak on behalf of my people, we want nothing to do with a conflict that everyone involved has been dust for thousands of millennium.â€> she held Dyrnwyn to the man throat to illustrate the point its unnatural flame casting a glow on there faces <â€I have sworn my life and if necessary my death to ensure entities like yourself no longer meddle in the affair of humanity. You kind are now bound by a Compact, I suggest you retreat now before we are force to destroy your Earthly form.â€> She stepped back and lowered the sword. “We must act quick, I may have annoyed him.â€
  21. I haven't forgot these two, just been a little busy and all. As planned I'm think three in each thread, KoS, Rene and Sage for the French themed thread and Wave-Eye, Ironclad and which ever one Azuth chooses (I can work with either). Possibly maybe something the weekend.
  22. Blodeuwedd, El Heraldo and Lord Steam go looking for Avians.
