  1. Lucy tried to mimic the manic smile she recalled Giselle using. “I managed to capture this worm who was trying to escape.†She put a foot on Nick back a pushed gently, she knew he was going to play right along. Luckily for him she almost always wore flats. In the heel Giselle was wearing, well she’d doubt he’d survive. “Then again was there every any doubt?†She gentle helped Nick up, making it look like she’d just yanked him up, and pushed him forwards. Making to simply walk past the three, as if to her they simply didn’t matter to her.
  2. The villagers improvised weapons didn’t seem to have any effect of Young Britannia. Almost without thinking about it she swatted away a bunch of the attackers. “I think I owe you an apology El Heraldo, well two. One for being such a moody cow for the last couple of hours.†Her grin suggested this wasn’t the case as she sent a blast towards an approaching villager. “And for thinking that these idiots would be able to listen to reason.†She floated up above the mob lighting up the darkness with her glow “Next time we go with your plan.â€
  3. Lucy gave the Butler a friendly smile. “Thank you for all you help. I do appreciate it.†She couldn’t help but feel a slight pang of guilt at tricking the old man, even if he was probably tricking her as well. From the little she had learned about the Master she hoped he wouldn’t punish the old man. It helped a little that she couldn’t shake the feeling that the Master was still playing her and she was doing exactly what he wanted. Taking an unnecessary breath, as a way of calming herself, she typed in the code and went through the door mulling aver this new fact about the Master.
  4. Totally engrossed in her work she was totally unprepared for Synth’s blistering attack. The alien collapsed into a corner her arms over her head mumblings something in her own languages. Nikki lightly touched her shoulder “Do you feel that? We’re gang altitude. If you’re going to be okay I’ve really got to go.†Meanwhile Starlight was shown into a rather nice conference room, she wasn’t exactly being treated as a prisoner but it was clear she wasn’t allowed to go where she wished. With some experience with spacecraft she could feel the change of tone of the Anti-Grav’s, meaning the craft was probably slowly climbing. “It seems that you assaulted one of the spawnlings of the current Pod leader of the Tine. Though I suspect there’s more going on what with all the tension going on in the area. It’s probably why they sent use rather than a Star Knight. Still I’m not complaining a commissions a commission.â€
  5. As she's just a simple Engineer I'll say it hits. Toughness Save 1d20+8=17, Staggered and Dazed. Either way she's staying down.
  6. YB has Impervious 7, so she should be fine.
  7. She still wasn’t quite sure about the ancient Butler. HE seemed to want to help, but he was still loyal to his Master. Still he was her only way to try to find out the Master plan, if only by reading between the lines. The book offered some clues, but it was dangerous and would take time to digest all the details. And she wasn’t sure exactly how long she had before the Master would return, he might be here already. Plus she knew people that could make much more sense of the book than she ever could. “I want to see it all, but for now the book can wait. Why don’t you show me what else he’s been up to?â€
  8. “Lucy, call me Lucy. Especially if we’re plan going incognito. And I’ll need a name to call you by, I suspect Starlight might give the game away.†She gave a smile as she walked beside Starlight At her question she dug into her pockets and pulled out a couple of rather crumpled notes. “You know in my day this would be a whole month’s wages.†Preempting any questions she added “I’m a lot older than I look, well preserved you could say.†She handed over the cash to Starlight “Maybe it’s time I thought about getting myself a car?â€
  9. For the crew I shall be using a slightly modified version of this Our poor "little" aliens Notice 1d20+10 =12. Totally oblivious.
  10. The alien gestured to her guard who put away the weapon she was holding and held out her own to show she wasn’t armed.. “We may hail from the Khanate but we’re not total barbarians. I prefer not to hold my discussions in the Transmat room. I have a nearby conference room if you could follow me.†She gestured with one of her arms. “I am Commander Lavender and this is my ship, I promise you that no harm will befall you whilst we deal with this matter.†Meanwhile towards the rear of the ship cloaked in shadow Synth watched the other alien take a panel off of some of the piping and take readings all the while humming to herself as she carried out her work.
  11. “Slavery! Really you’re going for that? You might not have noticed but there a war going on about that very issue. And I have very personal reasons to back an end to the whole practice.†As she said this her aura once again flared into life and she floated a few feet above the ground. “I hate to break the Hippocratic Oath so quickly but I plan to do some harm.†Glowing energy coalesced around her hands. “As a great man will one day say Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. And I’ve got plenty of light let me share."Too really drive home the point, and maybe to show off a little, she repeated the phrase in Lemaurian. She then sent a steam of energy towards the troublesome reverend.
  12. Right a little petty but let's finish off the reverend, blast of light 1d20+8=25. That should hit for a DC 23 Toughness save.
  13. Lucy stroked the cover of the book it felt like leather of some sort, though book like this was traditionally bound in more esoteric things normally human skin. She had some dealing which such necromantic matters, though thankfully mostly for good purposes. “So our Vampire Master wishes to start again, maybe he should convert to Hinduism. I know some people who might help.†She gave a smile “I might be new to the 21st Century but I’m not green, I know enough about this book to know the risks. Did you expect a reward for dealing with his troublesome get?â€
  14. Arcane Knowledge 1d20+4=22, Revenant has been hanging around with the right (or wrong) people!
  15. Way to go undoing your own work  . Initiative Roll 1d20+4=21, well she's still a little stoked.
  16. Whoops, my bad. Formatting fixed and Super Strength totals added.
  17. Agnes gave a smile and leaned in to talk to Subito. “Look I can’t help but feel that I got us into this mess. I guess being here and everything else got to me more than I realized.†She gve a little sigh “Let me try this, after all we’re the good guys we should be showing a little mercy.†She knelt back down by the reverend and look up at the villages spoke man. “I’m going to wake him up, but please make sure he realizes we’re under a truce. I don’t really want to have to subdue him again.†She put a glowing hand on the man allowing her healing energies to flow through him. Once she had done as much as though he needed she retreated to a safe distance to allow the people to explain the situation to him.
  18. Lucy despite herself gave a little smile. “Don’t worry I wouldn’t hurt you unless you gave me no other choice. And I don’t plan to destroy any more of this wonderful building.†Though she wasn’t that happy with the whole torture dungeon vide of the Masters laboratory. It suddenly occurred to her that anything she’d say would get back to the Master. Either directly, like Stoneheart, or just via the fact that he was his master. And just what did she want to do now. “Answers. All I really want is answers, what happens then depends on what those answer are. I’d prefer to talk him out of any nefarious plans, but I can’t promise anything beyond that.â€
  19. Outside of the ship there was a lengthy pause whilst they obviously decided what to do with this sudden, and probably unexpected, surrender of Starlight. Then with a booming voice they gave their response. “Do not attempt to move we are going to bring you on board our craft via a Transmat device.†There was a shimmering around Starlight and, in a far less disorientating journey than Synth, she was bought on board the vessel. There standing at around 7 foot tall and now wearing all of her armor was the alien they had seen earlier.
  20. “I guess that our cue, hold on tight.†Synth had the sudden sensation of both falling and accelerating, or hot and cold and the overwhelming smell of sulfur. Then she was somewhere else, a rather grubby metal room with steam leaking from a nearby pipe. “Sorry it can be a little rough; I have to cut through home so it’s a bit of a risk. But I think in this case it was worth it.†As she spoke there was a voice and from outside the room and in came one of the aliens giving Synth a chance to see one in the flesh. The creature was a lot taller than Synth had expected being well over 6 foot tall and her skin was unexpected a mint green color. She also, unlike the other alien she’d seen, had human like hair though the shoulder length brown hair did seem to have a silver sheen. She didn’t seem quite as well build as the other alien she had seen and was wearing a jumpsuit embroidered, with great care and attention, with a number of colorful flowers. She was also talking to herself in the aliens own tongue.
  21. Blodeuwedd gave a slightly forced smile; it seemed no one had noticed her panic. “Well I’ve not grown up in a complete bubble. I’ve watched a bit of telly and a few movies. But with all my time spent training I never had the chance to really try out any hobby. At a school, especially one as special as this, it seems I will have more free time than I’m used to.†She gave another smile, a more genuine one this time “I do appreciate the offers of help, I couldn’t ask for a warmer welcome.†She actually felt a little teary at it all, where was the tough capable warrior she knew she was?
  22. “I’m sure that will be of some comfort to their families.†When she was last around zombies were vague and exotic things, from strange foreign lands. Now they were, in the media at least, everywhere. She wasn’t quite sure why, they didn’t scare her in the least – but then again neither did well anything, but on finding out more she couldn’t help but feel a kinship with the animated dead. She’d heard of a Zombie hero running around the city and at some point she should really meet up with him and compare notes. It seemed however that the Butler didn’t share her kinship. “You don’t have to be down here with me, the master trust me enough to be left alone.â€
  23. Blodeuwedd scowled at Kit but said nothing; she knew some heroes used humour to deal with stress. Instead she knelt down to the sailor she had rendered unconscious and made sure the frail looking man was still okay. With a little effort she lifted the man onto her shoulders, shifting the weight around so she could carry the man comfortably if not slowly. “Let go find the others, they may find these victims interesting.†Normally in these circumstance s she would just disappear and travel alone, but here it seemed to be unwise to be alone.
  24. k, YB turn to try Diplomacy 1d20+5=21. Hopefully a little more useful.
  25. Just at that moment the door of the church, as much as they were, were thrown open and Young Britannia floated out carrying the unconscious form of the Reverent. After everything that happened in the church she was feeling a lot better, a lot more grounded. A lot more well herself. She floated to beside El Heraldo an gave a reassuring smile. Taking in the situation she floated over to the crowd carefully putting their reverent at their feet. “Don’t worry he’ll be fine, just a bit of a headache when he awakens. We don’t want trouble all we want to do is find out where the stranger went. Then I promise you we’ll leave you well alone.â€
