  1. As I'm very unlikely to hit, I'm going to try and blind him with the light! So another Dazzle.
  2. It was rare these days to feel pain and it seemed to have a strange reaction on Lucy giving her a rush if energy not unlike adrenaline. Maybe she was more alive than either of them thought? Using her new found energy she spun around laying into the four zombies, only to find that they were tougher than she reckoned with. Part of her wanted to chase after Mr White and attempt to throttle him, but ironically she was worried about these pitiful creatures. They seemed to be affected by the glop almost as much as she was. “If you leave right now that counts, and I’m one step closer to taking you down.†She couldn’t help but smile at that thought.
  3. It seems she was on the guest list and she felt a little disappointed that she wouldn't have to bluff her way in. It seemed that fate had other ideas in the shape of Subito. Cerys knew Subito from school, he was one of those who had shown Certs around on that confusing first day. He also took the time to stop and say hello everytime there paths crossed, even though Certs couldn't look him in the eyes or manage more than a few words. "Darling I thought we arranged to meet inside the club?" her normal accent was replaced with a near perfect local accent. She threw her arms around him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "What the Hell are you doing here? No don't answer that." she swapped to the other cheek "Tonight I'm called Ellis and I'm 21 years old. We'll sort this inside." She let him go but instead grabbed hold of his hand. "Come on I feel like dancing." She dragged him into the clubs lobby before he or the bouncer had time to respond.
  4. Sophie's, Riverside Sophie was one of those fly by night club that occasionally sprang up on the Riverside. A cheap property kitted out with a kick ass sound system that played bleeding edge dance music from across the world. They tended to last a couple of months unless the crowd or better yet a celebrity or super adopted them as the Nightspot du Jour, normally closed down for their less stellar following of the cities statutes. Sophie’s was still in the early days and people were cuing round the block to enter the establishment, whilst the beat thumped out promising the sweet beats contained within. Ignoring the crowd Blodeuwedd sashayed to the bouncer on the door looking to all the world liked she belonged here. Of cause she was on the guest list, and if not it would be an easy matter to convince the bouncer she was. For the first time in month Blodeuwedd really felt like herself, if only her school mates could see her now.
  5. Friday 22nd June 2012 Blodeuwedd couldn’t contain her excitement. Finally after all these months she was called upon to do the job she had been trained for. One of the Orders associate members called Nash had asked for her to visit him at a prearranged location to deal with an issue with a recently discovered artefact. It was laughably easy to sneak out of Claremont’s academy, she sometimes suspected they allowed people to do that as long as they didn’t get caught, to the little apartment she maintained as part of a carefully constructed cover story. Tonight she wasn’t Blodeuwedd, or even Cerys, no tonight she was Ellis Bextor a 21 year socialite and party goer. She inspected her look one last time before leaving her apartment. Her hair had been styled in one of the latest fashion she’d seen in a fashion magazine. Her body suit had been transformed into the classic little black dress, just the right side of decent, whilst she had decided on boot’s rather than heels to hide a few throwing knives, just in case. Her cloak was doing a much more vital job, currently invisible it concealed Dyrnwyn her sword. Finally she popped her goggles and a reasonable amount of spending money and she was ready for the night.
  6. Okay my will save is 1d20+8=27, so that's okay. It my go right? If so I'll use my shiny HP to temporary gain Takedown Attack, and let's take down these pesky not zombies. I'll take 10 on the attack so that's 22 to attack and a DC 27 Toughness save. If I can I'll use my move to scoop up the fallen so they don't dissolve in the "glop".
  7. Will save 1d20+4=14, and this is why I need better saves .
  8. Agnes was glad that she had chosen to change into her costume; people seemed to think that meant someone was here who could do something. And it got her here where she do the most to help. She rested her hand on the Doctor desk, mostly to hide how tired she was from an almost fruitless morning spent healing. In the past, several of her past lives, she had been a healers, nurses and even doctors; she knew how bad many of these diseases could be. “I have some measure of an healing ability let my try to help the worst cases. But I also think it’s important to find what’s causing this has anyone tried to find a pattern to the infections?â€
  9. Oh, I'll happily take the damage in the name of Plot! And the extra HP won't hurt either .
  10. She caught up to Lorenzo again to see that Subito already had the situation well in hand. She floated over to the struggling man, until her feet almost touched the ground. “Has this war not taught you anything? Mankind are never going to just roll over and give in. And even this primitive world has wonderful, terrible, toys of death that are going to give your snakes a really bad day." As she talked she drew her arm back waiting for the right moment to strike. “I’m really going to enjoy doing this.†She drew her arm back and powered it towards Lorenzo.
  11. Right I need a move to catch up with everyone. The YB going to land and punch Lorenzo 1d20+5-2=4 that would be a 1 them, um yeah this is probably not going to end well.
  12. She carefully backed up into the corner, making sure she had all five of them in her sights. “You see that the problem with great minds, they tend to see in black and white while the world is shades of grey.†She shook her head sadly “The thing is I would have allowed him to examine me, I’m as curious as he is as to what exactly my nature is.†She crouched down keeping them all in sight. “And maybe some of my weaknesses, my compassion and my humanity, would have rubbed off on him. Oh well I guess this is where we find how the mighty fall.†At with that she hit the floor with all her strength sending shockwaves through the ground.
  13. Okay let's try to thin out the not-dead-undead. I'm starting with a Groundstrike to (try) and knock everyone prone. It covers a 100 ft radius, there trip resistance is 1d20+10=16, half that if they make a DC 20 Reflex save.
  14. Initiative 1d20+6=26, I guess she was expecting trouble.
  15. NPC Spotlight Maggie McPhail (Young Britannia’s Agent) Edinburgh, Scotland After the day Maggie had she though it was only fair to have a relaxing bath a glass (of two) of wine and catch up on her soups. She’d spent the day on the phone to some two bit studio in Freedom City, Agnes was meant to have played her first TV show since her relaunch. But being Freedom City the show had been attacked by some two bit supervillian. The studio was blissfully happy that they had footing of a Supers smack down, provided by the villain herself no less, and seem less than keen on allowing Agnes another chance to play. The thing that she had never understood was why she had chosen Maggie to handle her career after her return from the wasteland. Whilst Agnes’s wasn’t the brightest of stars she was still more successful than the local acts she normally handled. Before Agnes she would have killed for a country wide famous dancing dog, how did he manage to make success which such things? And in Freedom she was having a measure of success her tiny music studio, Zenith Studios, was doing remarkably well. She had already had a hit with her partner and she was gaining some success in signing and promoting local acts. Most artists in that situation would just say bugger it and just manage themselves, but no not Agnes, instead she’d asked Maggie to handle the other acts she’d signed to her studio. So now she spent most of her time sorting out gigs and appearances of Freedom City acts, including a suitable amount of time in the city itself. Still as her Uncle use to say don’t worry about the details just go for it (which was a lie he worried about everything, but his client was a pain in the arse). So she took another, generous, glass of wine and sat down on her couch. Then she saw the letter. It was just sitting there on the table, no post mark or anything. Why would someone bother to break into her flat just to deliver a letter? After a quick look around the flat to make sure she was all alone she took her seat again, with her trusty kitchen knife, to look at this letter. It was written in a steady tidy handwriting having only her name, including her suspect middle name she normally left out, and a cryptic message that this might interest her. Well there was nothing else to do but to open the envelope and look at the contents. Inside was an old aged letter, though it took a while to figure its age it looked like modern lined paper and written in ballpoint pen, and whilst she wasn’t sure she thought she recognized the handwriting. The photograph that accompanied it that she had no problem identifying the person; it was someone she knew very well. It was Agnes! But just how did it happen, how did someone from the 18th century look just after her, and have her handwriting. She heard about people having double but that didn’t happen to normal people that happened to heroes… Realization dawned and she drained her glass of wine and she automatically topped it up with a generous second. Having built up enough Dutch courage she decided to contact to one person she knew could help her deal with this. “Hi Uncle Eddie its Maggie. Yeah I know how late it is but I need your advice on something. Look I know this sound strange but just how did you deal with a client who’s a Superhero?â€
  16. Revenant face was still grim, she wasn’t really a fan of Mr White. Mostly because of the deal she had to make. Despite herself she still held the faint hope she could somehow talk her out of this situation, though she suspect she’d have to take more direct action. “Just because something hasn’t been done doesn’t mean it should be done. The century I missed is filled with horrible things that shouldn’t have been tried.†Despite herself she had to know exactly what was happening “So what have you done to these people?â€
  17. She sat there and gave Starlights question some serious though, she looked quite solemn and it look for a minute she’d refuse Starlights request. But then she gave a broad smile. “Of cause I’d be happy to allow you to wander my ship, but I must refuse you access to certain areas. Sleipnir Starlight has level 5 access to the ship and facilities. That means you can’t access the cargo hold or any of the engineering sections, and of cause you won’t be able to access certain data or use hyperspace communication. If you want I can arrange for you to use the Ansible to contact Earth.†She stood up and gestured away Starlight’s guard. “You have around 20 hours before we reach Soo-Tine. If you excuse me I have business to attend to.â€
  18. She already a fan so I'll give you a bonus. She's up to helpful, but within bounds. To keep things simple when you leave the Conference room Synth will be able to spot you.
  19. Counter Roll 1d20+4=18, yay me. I promise not to cause anymore problem honest .
  20. Okay swapped the two around, hope that's okay.
  21. Okay that what I thought, I think I've made those edits but not made that clearer. So my bad again  . As for the NPC thing I've had the same thought's myself. But I'm at least a couple of month from a spare character slot, and it would nice to set up her villianry before she goes straight... Is there anything stopping a NPC being promoted to a PC?
  22. “I think we differ on whether I’m flawed or not. I see them as strength’s not weaknesses. Then again I’m seen some dead people who are full of life, and some alive people who were dead inside.†She took a position behind one of the chair, away from Mr White, and casually observed how the victim was bound. “That’s the problem sometime with book learning; you forget that there are people involved. And people tend to break the rules, you’ve got a whole city full of rule breakers right outside the door.†Despite herself she gave a little smile “You know I’m caught at a bit of a conundrum. You know I’m going to have to stop you, but whilst he’s bad, this Master is almost family. So there is a part of me hope he’s in some way redeemable.†Her face took a grim look “And I haven’t forgotten our deal.â€
  23. She was still a little miffed and as normal that transferred to her aura that glowed a little brighter. Wait why not use that to her advantage? It would take a lot of effort, she always found using her powers draining, but it should be enough to light up the tunnels. Concentrating all her effort for a few seconds her aura began to glow brighter and brighter until it was as bright as daylight banishing the darkness around her. She then took of down the tunnel at a slower and much more careful speed than normal until she had Lorenzo in her sights ready to let fly with a blast of light.
