1. Sorry for the wait. Sparky's gonna fly up and whack a demon. Move action: Float to stage and land Standard Action: Strike a demon: Strike 6 (Damage 11, Extras: Autofire 2 [11, Reduced Interval], Penetrating 3, Power Feats: Mighty, Improved Critical 2, Takedown Attack) [35/35pp] (Energy Weapons) 1d20+12 → [10,12] = (22) If that hits, that's DC26+1 for each point over the demon's defense. If I kill it (assuming it's a minion) then let me know so I can use Takedown attack to attack the other one.
2. Initiative: 1d20+7 → [3,7] = (10) Meh, that's ok.
3. Ook. Also, we see what's going on, but with the phone on and the call connected, we'd get some audio too.
4. Does Sparky need a notice check to see that she's controlling Jermaine/how she's controlling him?
5. Ah, thank you for answering. Initiative: 1d20+7 → [14,7] = (21) Since Gossamer just went, and Sparky's right after her, should I take my turn and enter combat?
6. "Oh man... don't remind me... The next time I see those bots will be too soon..." Sparksmith pondered on the adventure a bit. "Oh yeah, I remember you! You're the Earth mover. Good to see you again." Sparksmith shook his hand and smiled. "Glad to be working with you." He backed off a bit from Breschau as he approached, but then extended his hand to meet his. "Real name's Kurt. Sorry for the poor introduction. I'm glad I can help out." Sparky peered through the missing bricks to the inside. "Nice thinking. You took care of the visual..." Sparksmith took out and tossed the Knight his phone. "...and I took care of audio. Muse will call before she goes in, and hang up if there's a problem, but seeing what's going on isn't going to hurt."
7. "That definitely sounds like our best option. It sounds good to me, Muse. But, better idea for the phone, call me before going in and leave your phone connected, so we can hear what's going on. If there's a problem, hearing a hang-up is a lot faster than calling." Sparksmith looked down the alley to see the heroes talking, and turned back to Gabriel and Muse. "All right. I'll fly down now. Muse, call me before you guys go in. Good luck, and have fun!" He smirked at the two of them before glowing blue and flying down to the street between the two buildings. He lands in front of the Knight and the fighter. "Hey guys. Muse sent me down here to let you guys in on the plan. I'm Sparksmith." As Sparksmith described the plan, he created what looked like a holographic image of the building out of energy, showing the heroes exactly what was about to happen.
8. Sparksmith took Gabriel's glare in stride, giving a slight glare back. "Gabriel, I'm just trying to figure this out. A bit of brainstorming never hurt a situation to my knowledge. All I was saying is that maybe there's more going on than what we see. He turned to Muse, completely serious. "I'm not attacking anyone until I know what's going on. I can't sneak in, but if we need to, I can trap them--hold them down until we get the information we need, but that's all I can do until I know what's up." He looked back down at the group, half expecting something to happen.
9. Sparksmith looked down a bit confused. "Are you sure these are the guys we're waiting for? They don't look all that intimidating... but maybe that's because we're so high up?" Sparky looked at Muse before hearing Gabriel. "All right, all right. Calm down. Maybe it's not what it looks like. Maybe he's under cover. You know, something like a sting operation. I'm not a fan of jumping to conclusions. Maybe we should go down and just wait for any hints of things about to happen, then cut in when necessary."
10. Yeah, my point was that this seemed like combat.
11. "Oh my..." Sparky looked up as the hole was blown in the side of the building. "DAD!" Sparksmith's aura grew brighter as he flew back to the group. He scribbled something on a piece of paper and tossed it to a few of the heroes before flying up and into the hospital. When Sparksmith entered the hole, he found staff members and patients battered and bruised. He landed and ran to their sides. "This is not good. This is not good at all. Where is he?" he thought aloud, in a bit of shock. He ran from staff member to staff member looking for someone conscious enough to know exactly what happened.
12. Well then, he'll just fly up and in, checking on the patients and staff on the floor. EDIT: He'll search for someone conscious enough to answer questions.
13. Oh, also, should we be rolling initiatives?
14. Kurt smiled. "All right. Sounds pretty simple to me, but what exactly is the 'something' we're waiting for?" Sparksmith looked down from the building at the streets. A car or two drove by, but nothing out of the ordinary. "Do you have any idea how long it should take before this starts up?"
15. Sparky's Auto-Notice is 18. I didn't see the check request either. Move Action: Fly up to the hole in the building. The rest of my actions are completely dependent on what Sparksmith sees.
16. I'm sorry, I don't think I quite understand where the action is taking place.
17. Kurt looked around at the seats below him Empty seat... This will take a fraction of my cunn- NO. All of my cunning. As intermission begins, the blue-green hero got up and left the mezzanine section rather quickly, taking what few things he had with him. He slowly snuck around the theater, going downstairs into the lobby, casually entering the floor seating section, and quickly creeping into the empty seat he had spotted from above. A much better seat than his previous one. Coincidentally, Kurt had sat down right next to Professor Quentin. "Hello there, sir. I hope no one's sitting here. The mezzanine isn't doing this play justice." As Kurt got comfortable in his seat, Act 2 began. He noticed Carrie working back stage and smirked to himself Stealthy person working backstage for a theatre production... clever. He was enjoying the show until the bag fell and the actress literally disappeared. "What the..." He spoke aloud by accident, but he was still confused as to the events transpiring. Ok, actress can teleport. That was a surprise, but that doesn't seem so uncommon in this city, but why would someone back stage be playing with sandbags now? That doesn't make sense. It doesn't look like she was trying to hit her... in fact it looks like she was trying to grab it...but why would she put it on that rail in the first place. Further... why would an actress stop performing because a sandbag fell?! A professional actress wouldn't do that. He nudged the gentleman beside him: "Excuse me, sir, correct me if I'm wrong, but Medea isn't supposed to teleport off stage during the performance, is she?"
18. I'll go in character sheet order to make things easier. With this edit, I will have 0/160pp unspent I have also earned 10 PP, so my Gold Status should be 10/30. First, in Combat, the +10 Spark Control will now be +11. Next, I will be removing Defensive Attack due to the new house rule from v3.0 concerning it. For Powers: With the 3 points from August, the increased level, and the 1 point from the removed feat, I upgrade my array. I add 3 points to the rank of the Array, which allows my powers to hit caps. The 4th point is used for a 4th Accurate PF on the Array itself. Powers: 4+4+12+41 = 61PP Spark Control 17.5 (35pp Array, Power Feats: Accurate 3, Precise; 2 Alternate Powers) [41pp] Base Power: Create Object 11 (55 Foot Cube, Extras: Movable, Power Feats: Selective, Tether) [35/35pp] (Energy) Alternate Power: Blast 11 (Ranged Damage 11, Extras: Autofire, Power Feats: Improved Critical, Improved Range) [35/35pp] (Energy Projectile Weapons, Thrown Weapons, or Blasts) Alternate Power: Strike 6 (Damage 11, Extras: Autofire 2 [11, Reduced Interval], Penetrating 3, Power Feats: Mighty, Improved Critical 2, Takedown Attack) [35/35pp] (Energy Weapons) Next, my DC Block needs to be refined. (Also, needs to look neater. I spent an extra few minutes cleaning it up ) DC Block: ATTACK RANGE SAVE EFFECT Blast 11 Ranged DC26 Toughness Damage Create Object 11 Ranged DC21 Reflex Trapped Create Object 11 Ranged (Area) DC26 Toughness Damage Strike 6 Touch DC26 Toughness Damage Lastly, the cost total at the bottom was incorrect before. I only had 3pp leftover. This is the correction. Costs: Abilities (38) + Combat (24) + Saving Throws (17) + Skills (7) + Feats (14) + Powers (61) - Drawbacks (00) = 160/160 Power Points Costs: Abilities (38) + Combat (24) + Saving Throws (17) + Skills (7) + Feats (14) + Powers (61) - Drawbacks (00) = 160/160 Power Points That was very easy to edit, cheers!
19. "All right, no problem. I'm actually close by. I'll see you in about five minutes. Bye!" Kurt hangs up his phone and runs to the door of the arcade, flying out with the rest of his tokens in his pocket. Four minutes go by on top of the building. No word from Sparksmith, and no blue-green anything in sight. The fifth minute goes by. While Gabriel and Muse are talking, Muse gets poked in the shoulder. "How's that for 'hush-hush?'" Sparky smiled and gave Muse a hug, almost suddenly appearing next to the heroes. "Hey Muse! How have you been doing? Thanks for the call!" He releases Muse and offers Gabriel a handshake. "How are ya doin'? My name's Kurt. You can call me Sparksmith. What's the situation?"
20. Stealth roll for entering the scene as "hush hush" as possible: 1d20+3 → [16,3] = (19) How do I do?
21. Sparksmith is going to stealthily move down from the Mezzanine to the ground floor to grab an open seat...which just so happens to be next to Supercape. 1d20+3 → [20,3] = (23) Ooh... nice. I'll also take 10 (Skill Mastery) on a Notice check (18) To notice Carrie on stage. I'll wait for GM answer before IC.
22. "Will do, Cape. Good luck." He smiled as Supercape left, and then turned to Guardian. "All right, Guardian. Since you've all ready made friends with the fire department. I'm going to take the professor here to the hospital. My father should be able to fix him up just fine. If you could double check with the firepeople to see if they need anymore help, that'd be awesome. You have my number. If you need any more help, give me a call. Sparky sent out a single spark to hold Liebniz and floated up, tethering him by his side. "I'll see you later!" He called out as he flew off, the spark containing Liebniz following closely behind.

24. Conveniently, Sparky had been taking a day off at the Ocean Heights Amusement Park, taking on all challengers in the arcade. He had just lost an intense match in Tekken when his cell phone rang. "Hey Muse. What's up?" He listened intently. "Oh, yeah, I think I remember. What do you need? And where are you?"
25. Um, I'm just going to do one big post about the Street Fighter match, since it'd be annoying to just go back and forth for a while.
