  1. Will Save: 1d20+9=21 Normally, not a bad roll, but too slim of a chance to beat a 19 on the die. I'll take it and be all shook up.
  2. "Ok, let me guess. That's the guy I removed from the building earlier, right? Okay. Since I'm a bit preoccupied with my new pet..." He motions to his not-so-pocket-sized monster. "One of you two has to go get him and bring him back in here, but before we do, Cape, is there ANY chance that instead of fixing this entire thing, that they'll just combine into something larger? I can't tell you how many times I've seen that happen in games. Sparksmith keeps his arms outstretched towards the Pokeball. Although he doesn't show a very large amount of effort, another bead of sweat drips down his face.
  3. HP: Shake off Fatigue. Standard: Maintain Pokeball. Free: Speak. Move: ...I got nothin.
  4. Sparksmith runs in an arch around the brute, standing by him before rubbing his hands together. "Hold on? Hold on? We're fighting a giant Anti-Scientist, and you want us to 'hold on?'...Good idea." Sparksmith opened his hands to reveal a small spark. He squeezed it, and it grew a bit larger-- about as large as his hand. "I hope this works." He looked at the spark in his hand before tossing it at the Hulking Brute. As the spark entered the brute's aura, the blue-green energy crackled into different colors. The spark was able to keep it's shape as it cut through the nega-energy. Upon contact, the orb expanded exponentially, forming a dome around the monster, not giving him much room to maneuver. The dome seemed to have a familiar design. "Heh, look, I caught a Pokemon... I think I'll name him... 'Bubbles.'" Sparky chuckled a bit while his arms extended toward the dome. A drop of sweat came down his cheek as he stared intently at the caged brute. "Okay. Now that I'm 'holding on,' what do you have?"
  5. Free: Array switch to Power Stunt- Create Object 10 (250 Foot Cube, Extras: Impervious 10, Reflective [Melee], Power Flaws: Duration [Concentration], Power Feats: Selective, Progression) [32/32pp] (Energy) Move: Move behind the monster with Supercape. Moving in a LARGE CIRCLE as to not hit the aura. Standard: Trap- 1d20+10=30 THAT THING IS CRITICALLY TRAPPED. (not that it means anything) Ok, so, it's a sphere that's pretty close to his size. Not giving him much room to maneuver. Selectively, heroes and heroes' powers (like a blast or a drain) can go through freely. Anything infected can enter it, but cannot leave. edit: I forgot, since I tacked on Progression, it can be up to 250 feet, not just 50.
  6. 20s everywhere! (for Sparksmith's Skill Mastery)
  7. Sparksmith played along with his fellow heroes. His drums grow and shrink as he hits each one in time. As Breakdown rose his hands in the air, Sparksmith does the same, moving his energy drumsticks with his mind, not missing a single beat. Sparksmith smiled as the drumsticks hammered away at the drums. He swayed from side to side with the music.
  8. Sparksmith knew he couldn't stand around forever. The holding cell for the infected man would dissipate if he formed any weapons, but the creature was massive. If he didn't attack, he and Supercape would be in serious trouble. Then he remembered Guardian outside, the guy who just breathed into the building to put out the fire. He'll take care of it. Sparksmith formed a halberd in his hands out of blue-green energy. He spun the weapon in his hands. "I don't use this often, but when I do..." Sparksmith's eyes started glowing with the same color. "...it HURTS." Sparky ran up to the beast. As he did, he felt as if he had smashed through another window. Unfazed, Sparky pointed the weapon down and jumped up, spinning gracefully in the air. At the peak of his jump, the weapon extended, the blade slashing at the monster's body multiple times. With each hit, the energy weapon crackled, causing tiny sparks to release from the weapon's blade. Each of them bursting against the monster's body. As soon as he landed, he backed up to his original position.
  9. Toughness save: 1d20+8=23 Excellent! Fortitude save: 1d20+7=10 See, I expected this. HERO POINT! Fortitude save: 1d20+7=25 And Sparksmith is ok!

  11. Sparksmith jumped a bit at the behemoth standing before them. His force field reacted, spreading out from his body, covering him in a tight bubble. He assumed a defensive stance as two energy shields appeared over his forearms. "Liebniz? A friend of yours? What exactly is going on Cape? Why is everything 'Wrong?'" Sparksmith watched as it moved, and he braced himself for the worst.
  12. Free Action: Scream bloody murder Move Action: Stand beside Cape Standard Action: Total Defense
  13. The super deep breath of Guardian echoed through the halls of the laboratory, entering the ears of both Professor Quill and Sparksmith. "Oh no...no... GUARDIAN WAI-" The wind came before he could finish. It hit the energy controller full force, knocking him for a loop. He does a flip in mid-air, getting blown forward, losing his grip on the professor, who flies further. "Bad day, bad day, bad day, bad day!" Wait, what was Master Lee's last lesson... Heh, this is probably going to take it too literal, but it should work. A layer of Sparksmith's force field unfolded from Kurt as he fumbled through the air and formed into a long flat surfboard beneath his feet. Sparky corrected himself using the board for balance, catching the full gale force, pushing him farther, faster. He catches Quill in mid-air, never letting him even come close to the ground. He bursts through the doors even sooner than expected. Setting Quill down on the floor, putting his hands on his hips, and striking a pose as his board reshapes from his feet, up his body to his back, creating an energy cape that blows in the remains of Guardian's super-breath. "You all right, Quill?"
  14. Reflex: 1d20+9=18 SO CLOSE. Strength Check: 1d20+5=25...He's good!
  15. "Quill, we've met at the theater, and Ocean Hights. I also met Supercape." Sparksmith pops up into the air again, flying towards Professor Quill, picking him up off of his feet, and flies out the window and down the hall. "Now, guide me to the SHIP, and put your cape on. We need heroics.... and don't worry, I won't tell a soul."
  16. Move ActionSparksmith grabs Quill and flies him "down the corridor" to the reactor. He's strong enough.
  17. Sparksmith peered into the window, seeing a glowing red professor attacking one behind a crystalline wall. "Professor!"Without hesitation, Kurt broke through the window and, simultaneously, grabbing hold of Libniz in a cylindrical casing. "Professor Quill, what is going on here? Why are people glowing red and attacking other people? What are we dealing with here?" As Sparky spoke, the casing holding Libniz floated out of the lab and down to the ground, landing relatively close to Guardian, and far from any exit. On the casing, are visible letters popping out of the holding cell, with what appeared to be a bow on top.
  18. Anyway: Move-By Action! Move Action: Move to/break through window, see Professor in trouble. Standard Action: Trap Liebnez with Create Object: 1d20+10=26 Move Action (If Trapped): Move Liebnez out of the building, setting him down relatively close to Guardian. (Still trapped)
  19. Technically, I wanted to use two move actions. One to move her to the coffee house, then the other to head back over to the campus, but then again, That would give the impression that Sparky has super speed, which he doesn't.
  20. Kurt yelled back down to the Guardian, speaking rather quickly. "Guard, take care of the glowy guys. Cover the firemen. I'm gonna bring..." He stopped yelling. "I'm sorry, how rude of me. What's your name?" "H-H-Haley Heart." "I"m going to bring Ms. Heart somewhere safe." Kurt flew away from the campus, a few hundred feet, speaking with Ms. Heart along the way. "Haley, do you know where Professor Quill is? Maybe he has an idea why those guys were acting crazy." "He... he was in the main laboratory. The big smoking one! Please hurry. I don't know what's going on." "Thank you, Haley. Don't worry, it'll be fine. Sparksmith dropped her off outside of a Starbase Coffee and gave her some money. "Here, have yourself a cup of something. I'll come and get you when all of this blows over." Sparksmith flew back towards Freedom University and, without stopping, flew right to the main laboratory, stopping at a window to see if anyone was inside that he could see.
  21. Sparksmith noticed the woman running frantically and acted quickly. He hovered over the campus, shooting a single spark down to the woman. Under her, a large platform extends beneath her, making what appeared to be a magic carpet beneath her. It floated up to Sparksmith, getting the girl out of the raging techie's way. "Hey, hey, hey, hey! Calm down. Calm down. Calm. You're safe now. I'm Sparksmith. I'm here to help. What is going on? Who attacked you? Why was he attacking you?
  22. Standard: Create Object: Create a platform under Ms. Heart Move: Move said object up to Sparksmith. (Getting a civilian out of immediate danger- Complications! ) Ask her exactly what's going on.
  23. Sparksmith left Master Lee's school earlier than normal today. Master Lee, yet again, wanted Kurt to run some errands for him. The errands, like always, brought him all over Freedom City. When he had first moved in, Kurt enjoyed the sights. It was a quick way to get to know the new city, but now it's almost been three months. The sights of the city weren't as impressive anymore. Then again, nothing was as impressive to him as New York City. Today, Master Lee had a small package to send to Freedom City University. As he flew over the Wading River, Kurt saw the plumes of smoke floating up into the sky. Worried, he flew straight over to it, forgetting about his destination. Luckily for him...or rather, very unluckily, his new and old destinations were one in the same. He flew toward the source of the smoke, but tried to stay relatively far, looking for civilians in trouble. He shouted, "Hello?! Anyone here? I'm here to help!" His head darted back and fourth as he looked for anyone who could have been injured.
  24. Well now Sparksmith HAS to join. :D
