It was never the best option to go through the front door, at least not if you didn't want to draw attention. Of course, that could be a plan in itself. But, ES wanted to do the stealth thing, and honestly, Robin was still just psyched to just be working with her hero, so probably no reason to present her own plan. "But sounds good to me. Maybe there's a window or some hatch on the roof or something like that." She readied her jump jets. It was a far jump, but she could probably make it. "I'll check the roof!"

  4. GM Millennium Mall, Midtown, Freedom City 5:30 PM, November 15th, 2019 A rainy Friday afternoon, and Millennium Mall was packed as usual. There was a certain feeling in the air. Everyone was moving around in groups, even tighter than usual. Even through laughter and crying children, everyone hurried between the shops and stuck together, casting nervous glances about. During the last month, five people had gone missing, all disappearing within the vicinity of the mall during the evening. Everyone was hurrying to get home before it was too late. No one wanted to stick around, deals or not deals. That kidnappers had made no demands, and had not been seen. All that was found on the scene after a disappearance was a single silver ball, small enough to fit in a hand. And on this particular evening, several visitors to the mall would be finding similar balls all over the mall.

You would be the dashing prince off to rescue the fair maiden, Leroy would be the dark lord holding her captive on his secret island," he finally said, throwing his arms up in the air in frustration. "This world is too ambiguous at times. Right and wrong get all mixed up." He turned away, thinking. Yes, it would have been much simpler back home, the way stories were supposed to, not this whole tangle of the much too real Earth Prime. He cupped his chin with his hand as he started pacing around the room, his feet never touching the floor. "You say they are bad for each other, yes? Or at least bad for Judy. And yet, you cannot simply go and save her." He shook his head, then lit up with a smile. "I would not say they are practically married. Did you see the look on Ashley's face? She has hardly been approving of the relationship so far, and it seemed that Leroy's proposal took it too far for Judy's keeper." He nodded to himself, as if it were some great revelation. "But, so many of your movies, they show the heroine in a bad relationship, only to be saved by her true love as she learns that the first man was not for her." His expression changed, as he thought it over, going from revelation to shock. "Have your movies lied!?"

  8. Archer II Red bandanas. 'C' letter jackets. Those kids seemed dressed for the part they were playing, at least. Connor sat perched on a rooftop above, watching and waiting for the right moment. He wasn't a big fan of the Golden Calf Casino, but they weren't just stealing money from the rich, they were taking money from the employees, too. That made it Archer's business, at least. The kids he could probably handle, but the man with the big gun, now that was something else. It had torn through the armored truck with one blow, knocked it over, too. Not an easy feat. Some kind of weird energy, but it seemed big and bulky. The man operating it was an obvious first target. He kind of doubted the kids could even lift the thing. The big question was how the kids would react if he took out the big guy. Would they stick around and fight or would they scatter? Use an explosive and the cash would be ruined, too. No need for that. Fine then. Standing up straight, Connor picked and arrow and took aim, then let it fly into the middle of the group where it would explode into a brilliant lightshow.

She still seemed disoriented, looking weakly around, trying and failing to rise to her feet. --- As the suit targeted the recordings, she didn't just find recordings of herself to erase, but, curiously, also traces of others having tampered with the recordings as well, though the traces were all over them, making it difficult to find the exact point... Of course, Nicole might still be able to do just that. --- It didn't take long for the emergency services to arrive, and eventually, the door to Nicole's janitor's closet was pulled open, an officer standing outside with a gun aimed at her. Seeing Nicole with lamp, the officer quickly put her put back in its holster and apologized profusely, but she had been creeped out by all the silver goop and dead mice everywhere. Nicole was quickly led outside to an ambulance for a checkup, where she found Rita sitting, a blanket over her shoulders and a cup of coffee in her hands. Despite everything that had happened to her, Rita seemed relatively well now, a smile spreading over her lips. "Nicole!" She put the coffee down in the ambulance and hurried over, quickly wrapping her arms around Nicole. "I'm so, so sorry you got caught up in all this! What happened, did Guy get you too? I really hope he didn't infect you too, it was just horrible!" She let go of Nicole while she spoke and looked around, before sitting down at the ambulance's open door again. "Are you alright?" she asked, watching Nicole closely.

I will see you all on Saturday, then." With that said, he moved closer to Miss Brooks. He put on his very best friendly smile as he bowed slightly. She had yet to reply to his previous question of wanting a word with her, but it might have gotten lost in the shuffle of everything else that had happened. "Miss Brooks, if you don't mind, could I have a quick word with you in private before you leave?"

Her color was changing, she was starting to turn red, like she was actually sunburned. She gritted her teeth, almost growling in annoyance. "STAND STILL YA FREAK!" Of course, she didn't seem aware of the irony of her own taunt. For his part, Dinostroyer slowly climbed to his feet, shaking his head as he stood. Hurt or not, he was clearly rattled at having been knocked off his feet like that. "Is that all?" He tried to sound brave, but there was more than a hint of fear in his voice as he rushed in, trying to close the distance between himself and Kanunu before he got hit with another burst of water.

His brows furrowed, his eyes growing dark as he crossed his arms. "You already did, boy." His tone was cold and somber. "What do you think happened after you ran off? You think the big bosses just let me go?" If he took the time, Chromium would be able to see that not all of Screwtop's scars were recent, and not all of the old scars were some that he recognized. Finally acknowledging the other soldiers again, he just glared at them. "Quiet down, not like you haven't all taken turns beating on me for the hell of it already." The soldier chuckled at the scene before him, the father and son arguing despite the situation. "Sure, Shiny. And you think we brought you here without knowing anything about you?" He kept his weapon aimed at Screwtop as he spoke, despite keeping his eyes on Chromium. "The Commander will be here in a moment, and then its your turn, Shiny."

  20. GM "Good call, Shiny." The man that had barked the order before slowly moved closer, his gun raised towards Screwtop. "Get down on the floor. No tricks, no turning into a puddle, no nothing, got it?" He sounded confident, as he nudged Screwtop with the mussle of his gun. "And you, get over there and get those handcuffs on, old man." Screwtop glared at the soldier, but still did as he was told, moving over another soldier that handcuffed his hands behind his back. "Fat lotta good you did, kid. Now they got both of us." The soldier that handcuffed him let out a short harsh laugh. "Why would we care about you, old man. You were just the bait." Once Screwtop was handcuffed, the leader soldier turned to Chromium, once more aiming his rifle at him. "Don't even think about trying anything, Shiny. We might have orders to bring you in, but they didn't say anything about you being in one piece."

  22. Pan did his best to look serious, and nodded. He knew the importance of secrets, and well, he did like to share some, but he also knew when to keep them. He had kept plenty of his own from his friends at Claremont already. "Of course, my friend. If Lulu brain-talks to me, I will make sure to show her images of nothing but Pixies." His tone was as jovial as ever, with a serious undercurrent. It wasn't in his nature to be too serious, but still, he took this seriously, and he wanted to be sure Micah understood. He rubbed his chin, listening with intent as Micah laid it out, rather plainly, too. Nothing that anyone could misunderstand in any way, unless they did it on purpose. He remained silent while Micah sat down in his chair, and well, he looked absolutely worked up, as far as Pan was concerned. Pan floated over, putting his feet down near Micah's chair and put a reassuring hand on his friend's shoulder. "What I want, my friend, is for you to be happy." He took a step back, turning around and putting his hands in his pockets as he looked up at nothing in particular. "Seems I was right, then. You were not exactly subtle earlier, after all." He turned back again, a triumphant grin on his lips and his eyes almost shining, because of course they were. "It seems obvious that Leroy and Judy are not quite meant to be, if their earlier meeting was any indication, no? So, what do you want us to do about this?"
