  1. GM Post Blood trickled down Bandida Aves' now visibly disformed and mangled beak. The Fowl criminal had her head plastered against the wall, and she tried her hardest to regain her composure. "AHHHRGHH!! Ma nowz! Yew blk ma bldee nowz! Thull pfttt fr thaaa!" she mouthed unintelligibly, as one of the two Fowlerings remaining barely managed to avoid Temperance's icy lasso by moving his feet on the last possible second. "Thrw sam smwk grneydtz ent ged tha adderz heer!" She frothingly screamed at her underlings, who were visibly perplexed by what she was trying to say. "What?" One of them asked. "I think she said something about grenades and here?" "No way, I think she told us to smoke with the others or something..." "Are you listening to yourself? Smoke? Right now?" "Well..." "And besides... you and the boss both know I've quit 6 months now!" "Grrrrhhhh! SMWK! GRNEYDTZ! GED ADDERZ HEER!" she impatiently screemed, "OH RIGHT!" they both chorus'd, as Bandida Aves' mangled words came through. Immediately, they dropped smoke grenades around them, covering the nearby area with blackening smoke. They sported mischievous grins, as they shouted on their radios. "Alright, everyone, we need some back up here!" "Get to the main room! Now!" As they finished that, a form could be made inside the concealing smoke, as Meatheral's dispersed molecules mingled with the smoke. At that time, Bandida floated menacingly towards Glamazon, just as she fixed her beak. "Much better. Now as for you, princess... You hurt me." she spat, as a sadistic smile appeared on her face, while her eyes wondered towards some of the civilians around. "So it's only fair that I return the favor. Right. Where. It. Hurts!" She wasn't being very subtle about her threat.

  3. Fowlerings They will both throw suped-up smoke grenades around Temperance and them. These provide Total Concealment vs all visual senses, except for X-Rays. Between the two, they cover an area of 50ft, enough to engulf Meatheral as well. This counters Meatheral's Concealment. Fowl Bandid Move Action: Acrobatic Feint against Glamazon at a -5 penalty. Taking 10 with Skill Mastery. DC30 vs Bluff or Sense Motive (whichever highest) Standard Action: Distract Glamazon using Bluff. 5. Player Name: Vahnyu Character Name: Net Fly Power Level: 10 (150/150PP) Trade-Offs: -2 Attack / +2 Damage, +2 Defense / -2 Toughness Unspent Power Points: 0 Old character sheet is here. In Brief: Young gadgeteer genius Serge Explinker dons a simple yet sophisticated sonic harness/vibro-suit, in order to enhance his mutant powers and fight crime as the masked superhero Net Fly. Identity: Secret Alternate Identity: Serge Explinker Identity: Secret Birthplace: Freedom City Occupation: Student Affiliations: None (Claremont Allumni) Family: Father: Andrew Explinker. Mother: Catherine Coldear. Step-Father: Gregory Lineburg. Description: Age: 21 (DoB: March the 19th, 1995) Apparent Age: 16 Gender: Male Ethnicity: Caucasian Height: 5' 10" Weight: 180 pounds Eyes: Green Hair: Blonde Description: A lean, light-skinned teenager of medium height, Serge has curly short blonde hair and green eyes. He wears prescription reading glasses, although ever since his powers awoken, he stopped needing them. His casual attire consists of lion-colored baggy pants or jeans, a light-grey tank-top and a green camp shirt. His costume is mostly grey, composed of a spandex-like material, and covers most of his body, except the eyes, and it has extra pockets strapped at his thighs. He wears black boots and black briefs, on top of the suit, with a blue tool belt. He has blue mechanical gauntlets, and a white megaphone strapped on a blue x-shaped harness, in front of his chest. Finally, he has two blue head-pieces that cover his ears, on top of his mask. Power Descriptions: Net Fly is a mutant, with the power to influence his body's vibrations. This gives him an assortment of innate abilities, like enhanced agility, strength, and stamina, the ability to "stick" on surfaces, and the ability to fly. Further-more, he has costumised his VibroNet Suit so that he can further harness those powers and re-focus them into sonic energy. He can concentrate his gloves with sonic energy in order to enhance his fists or produce Sonic Blasts and hit his opponents from a distance. He can also opt to redirect his powers to his chest-phone, and unleash a powerful Sonic Beam. The suit also channels Net Fly's vibrational energies to create a protective Vibro-Field, which lessens the impact of attacks. Finally, his suit comes equipped with a Net Dive device, which allows him to interact with machinery and even enter the cyberspace. History: Serge was a gifted young boy, and he showed from an early age an aptitude with complex machinery and computers. While he comes from a divorced family, his parents have managed to keep a good relationship with each other and their son. When he became an adolescent, Serge started exhibiting his latent mutant abilities. It wasn't, however, until much later, when he became unwittingly entangled with a heist, that he decided to use his powers for a purpose. A group of armed robbers ambushed an armory car and stole a bunch of high-tech equipment. During the heist, things quickly escalated, and Serge, allong with a few other bystanders, was captured as a hostage, and held against his will. At first, he was paralyzed from fear, until he witnessed the robbers shot a man in front of him, in order to force the police to meet their demands. Finding an opportunity, Serge sneaked out of sight and undid his bonds with his strength. He took a few devices that were laying close to him, and tinkered with them as quickly as he could, fashioning them into Sonic Blasters. Before the robbers realized what had happened, Serge, wearing a makeshift outfit to conceal his identity, attacked them, and quickly subdued them. After rescuing everyone, Serge left the crime-scene. For the next few days, he reflected on what had just transpired. He realized that he could use his powers to fight crime, but in order to do so, he needed to make a costume for himself. Tinkering and improving upon the devices he aqcuired during the heist, and using a few more that he had created on his own, Serge was able to adapt them into a functioning suit. Now, Serge has emerged as the superhero Net Fly. He has performed adequately, but after a few close calls too many, he decided to enroll in Claremont Academy, and further hone his crime-fighting abilities. After some adventures with other fellow superheroes and Claremonters, most noteably El Heraldo, Glow, and Tsunami, Serge eventually graduated from Claremont, and enrolled into Freedom City's Hanover Institute of Technology to study Computer Sciences. During the Incursion, Serge, as Net Fly, spurred by the hero Fast Forward, joined forces with him, Grimalkin, and Triakosia, to protect the physical bodies of the heroes who had went on to do battle on the mental plane, against the Communion drones that had come to target them. During that battle, he revealed his secret identity to them, a first for him, as he had kept it a secret from other heroes who hadn't been to Claremont with him. Nevertheless, Serge might have withdrawn from heavy duty, in order to focus on his studies, the last year, but he has continued trainning and tinkering with his suit, so that he'll always be ready to step up when needed. Personality & Motivation: Serge's desire to help people is matched only by his curiosity and inquisitiveness. Serge spends a lot of his time fine-tuning his suit or practicing his programming skills. When he isn't tinkering with his devices, Serge can often be found socializing with his friends. He takes failure hard, but it also helps motivate him to try harder. However, his overeagerness to prove himself a good and worthy hero can often lead him to trouble. Powers & Tactics: Net Fly doesn't take hits well, so he prefers a hit-and-run fighting style over duking it out for prolonged periods. Having said that, however, he is perfectly capable of unleashing devastating attacks in close range, as well as take care threats from a distance. If he wishes to avoid fighting, he can opt to hide in the ceilings. Sonic Strength: This power allows Net Fly to tap into his natural vibrational powers to enhance the strength he exerts on objects. In combination with his naturally enhanced Agility, this adds a significant amount of bite in his punches. Sonic Speed: This power allows Net Fly to tap into his natural vibrational powers to create kinetic energy and exert it to gain a significant advantage in speed, allowing him to run at an accelerated pace. He can exert vibration to adhere to vertical surfaces almost as well as on horizontal ones. Additionally, he can use this energy to levitate himself, and fly around. He can run as fast as a bus or a semi, and he can fly at 1/5th the pace of a helicopter. Sonic Strength Amp: The VibroNet-suit is powered uo by Net Fly's natural vibrational powers, and enhances them further. This not only allows him to quadruple his naturally enhanced strength, it quantduples his speed and reaction, allowing him to unleash a mighty barrage of rapid-fire fisticuffs. Sonic Maelstorm: Combining his significant strength and speed enhancements thanks to the VirboNet-Suit, allows Net Fly to rapidly scour the battlefield, running, flying, and jumping left and right, and employ his sonic-fast punches and/or sonic blasts to put the hurt on multiple hostiles, with pinpoint accuracy. Sonic Blasts: Net Fly focuses stored vibrational energy from the VibroNet-Suit into the small harnesses in his gauntlets, and unleashes it into pure sonic energy waves. Sonic Beam: Net Fly builds up large amounts of stored vibrational energy from the VibroNet-Suit into the big harness in his chest, and unleashes it into a large destructive beam of sonic energy that knocks the wind out of and blasts away anyone who is unfortunate enough to cross its path. Sonic Torpedo: Net Fly covers himself in a vibrational field of energy channeled through the VibroNet-Suit that protects him from harm, and allows him to penetrate and harm hard materials. This also allows him to dig through concrete. Net Dive Harness & Installed Database: The VibroNet-Suit comes equipped with its own Bluetooth reciever/transmitter, which allows his suit to tap into and interact with nearby computers and machines. It also comes pre-installed with an extensive database that Net Fly can refer to at the drop of a hat, in case his own technological knowledges aren't sufficient to get the job done. Super Sonic Speed: The VibroNet-Suit enhances Net Fly's exceptional speed, allowing him to run twice as fast as a sports car or a motorcycle, breaking the sound barrier in the process, and Fly almost half as fast as a helicopter. Complications: In Space, no one can hear you vibrate!: Net Fly's powers are vibration based, and require a medium in order to travel. This means that if he is ever in vacuum, his ranged capabilites are extinguished, and he can only affect those he comes into direct contact. While in the vacuum of space, he can fly, but in a very limited and extremely dangerous manner, as he must exert large amounts of energy to change direction. That also means that powers that negate sound can also negate or severely limit Net Fly's powers. Rival(Volt Scorpion): After tangling up with him while in Dr Sin's captivity, aloof Korean martial artist and electrokinetic Volt Scorpion developed a sort of rivalry with Net Fly. He followed the hero to the states, and is prone of showing up unexpectedly and challenge the hero to a fight. Volt Scorpion believes that, despite Serge relying too much on his powers and suit, he actually makes a pretty compatible sparring partner for him, and Volt Scorpion will always try to goad him into battle, even if he has to make a few robberies here and there, to draw Net Fly's attention. On the Job Learning: Is learning as he goes. He had time to learn a lot throughout his Claremont days, and has managed some noteable superheroics on the side afterwards, but he still views himself as a newbie, and rightly so. Secret: Identity. Snarker Within: Extreme insecurity about his own faillings has developed into a sort-of split personality/alter self that tends to point out said flaws. Even so, Serge is usually more than willing to point his own errors himself, without outside, or for that matter, inside help, and thus, this alter self pops up very occasionally, during times of extreme duress(That is to say, more extreme than usual for a kid hero) Technobabble Motormouth: Is prone on making tangential notes about science, whenever he finds the opportunity. Trying Hard to Keep Up: Is prone of overexerting himself, and feels a compulsive need to prove his worth as a superhero. 6. GM Post "Mmh..." Billy wordlessly nodded at Carmen's comment on the situation. When she asked him about the terrain, he responded "It's cool, Boss! I've got a handle on the, aha, handlebar." he joked a bit. "I think I can manage. We'll slow down to a crawl, but there won't be any nasty surprise bumps on our way." He continued, more seriously this time. He rode amongst the trees, making sure to follow Carmen's prompts for direction. The more he pedalled, the more the stone tablet reacted, as if its reading got closer. Then he stopped. "Boss? Can I ask you something?" Billy asked Carmen. He seemed quite serious. "What do you think is going on? I mean, REALLY going on?"
  7. "I see." Vyrdnaya responded to her debriefing by Elite. "So that's what all this commotion was." Vyrdnaya listened carefully to Elite's thoughts on the matter, and was subsequently startled by Corona arriving like a humanoid typhoon. Corona made some points too, so she considered the possibilities. From what she'd heard, it was true that the Khanate Empire was getting a bad rep, but she wasn't quite convinced on how much of that rep was deserved. "History is often written by the victors." She commented. Honestly, the Khanate didn't sound all that dissimilar to Zaakis, Kharag's homeworld and former kingdom, before becoming a member of the Delaztri Empire. When Paradigm finished, Vyrdnaya decided to speak. "Regardless, if you'll allow me, Imperiatrix. Working under the assumption of a trap is never not a prudent course of action, when dealing with an unaffiliated to the coalition entity, even if proven false. Those who want peace should nevertheless prepare for war. However, I DO find the Lor officials' stance on the matter suspect. No offense, Corona." She added with a side glance at her comrade. "It seems like we will be on the frontlines, conveniently placed to take the first hit, in case this proves to be a trap. I mean, I don't disagree that it's among, if not THE most tactically sound option in our hands. It just seems awfully convenient."
  8. "They seem to be focusing on us?" Vyrdnaya asked Seresk for confirmation, while the evasive protocols of the Kavaca were working double and tripple time. "Good! That should give Cavalier some breathing room to work." Once more, she opened fire at the Capital Pirate Ship. That the enemy vessels were focusing on her meant only one thing; they were starting to pile some serious damage on the enemy warship. Nine times out of ten, you'd willingly sacrifice your pawns, if it meant saving your queen. But it would be for naught. This time, there'd be no saving their biggest piece. The first barrage struck true, causing some explosions upon the enemy vessel's starboard. Realizing that this was their chance, Mater Vyrdna jumped on it, rerouting some of the Kavaca's engine power into the plasma machineguns in order to recharge them, and taking one more shot, this time critically injuring the Capital Pirate Ship. Sighing at relief, she nevertheless warned her comrade on board. "Praetor Seresk, I'm gonna go all out with taking their mother ship out. Keep an eye on the monitors in case some of the enemy hostiles decide to board us!"
  9. GM Post "~...I say caine, you say John, I say Wa-~" Billy went on, until he came to an abrupt end, at Carmen's behest. "-Ah, right, yeah, you're right, Boss. Sorry." He sheepishly apologized. Tazel, for his part, finally quieted down, giving Carmen some much needed peace of mind. Of course, he never gave her a single word of gratitude. Soon their path had taken them to the forest's entrance, and the hut in which Pitch had rested a few hours ago, along with the others, came into view. "This was where you'd stopped, miss Carmen? Doesn't seem particularly safe. You must have been desperate to make a stop here." He commented, as he slowed his pedalling. The terrain from here on out was getting increasingly uneven and rough, and Billy realised that he couldn't afford to have his bike overturned by a random rock, and risk injury on Carmen.

  11. For many cycles, after her consiousness emerged from the Devotion's computers and she had materialised for the first time, Vyrdnaya Solnys-kori Milareth had completely avoided sleeping. After experiencing an eternity of reliving the same memory of her and her family, over and over again, only to learn that she had lost them to the passage of time, the Akarnean woman had avoided doing anything that would bring her subconscious to the surface. That involved spending all of her time working, to the point of exhaustion. It was with great reluctance, and at the insistance of her fellow Praetorians, that she should sleep, at least once a week, lest she completely loses touch with her empathy, her livingness, her <humanity> for lack of a better word. But she'd found, to her dismay, that she felt uncomfortable sleeping anywhere, unable to put her thoughts to rest. That is, until Sitara Shashikala , the Traveller, had suggested that she slept in the Devotion. One of the premiere spaceships of the Praetorians, that had housed her consience while the ship had been put in stasis by the Curator, the Devotion had become unofficially Vyrdnaya's <home>, or at least, her resting place. Completely fusing her body with the ship, and allowing her consciousness to submerge, she was finally able to sleep, and along with that, to dream. To dream of past memories, when she had been the happiest, living her life alongside her three kids and her husband, working for the Delaztri Empire. A dream she'd been dreading at first, no less due to the backlash it caused her when she was first faced with reality, but as time went by, she'd come to yearn the dream, to seek it out, to embrace it. Because it was the only time that she felt happy, that she felt alive, and not a grotesque fusion of flesh and metal. It was during such a dream that the alarms in the Coalition Victory Station sounded, as the Khanate ship emerged from the wormhole. The alarms sounded in the Devotion as well, which brought Vyrdnaya's dream to an abrupt end. Emerging from her fused state and materializing her familiar form, a hodgepodge of Meso-Akarnean flesh and robotic parts, and covered by what looked like clothes but where in fact more technoorganic matter that was simply shaped to resemble clothes, Vyrdnaya needed only a few moments to gather her bearings and go to the spaceship's bridge, whereupon she remained on standby. Soon enough, the Praetorian on communications duty called her up, at the behest of Paradigm, and informed her that she was being summoned. "Understood, base. I'm on my way. Over." Once again she submerged into the ship, only this time, it wasn't in order to sleep; rather, she transferred her consiousness to the ship's hull, whereupon she rematerialized. Having exited the Devotion, she repeated the trick once again, this time merging into the CoVic station itself. It took here mere seconds before she had mailed her consciousness to the command center, where Amara Val-Ren and Lady Tatiana Gaius Libera had been awaiting for her. Vyrdnaya rematerialised once more, saluting her comrades. "Mater Vyrdna, reporting for duty. What do you require of me, Imperiatrix Paradigm?"
  12. As Vyrdnaya flew in formation alongside Traveller and Magnetar, she became aware of Cavalier zooming past them. She could understand the human's feelings, wanting to get back at the perpetrators of the horrific massacre aboard the Sar-lan, but given that the Twelve were highly dangerous criminals, she questioned the prudence of breaking rank and taking charge on your own. "What?" she mouthed at the view of the speeding Star Knight, as Magnetar unleashed a magnetic wave to short-circuit the pursuing drones. "Great. More drones under the control of the Twelve." No, under the control of X'madi. she thought. It took her only a second to witness Kyle open fire at a crowd, barely making out some heavy duty weapons among them. She clicked her tongue. It can't be helped. "Seems Cavalier has engaged with enemy hostiles, Praetors. I will go see if I can provide some backup, immediately. Be careful." She told Magnetar and Traveler. Indeed, she boosted her rockets' output and sped to the governor's building with all haste, just in time to see the gunslinging Cavalier take out a criminal holding a dangerous-looking weapon, with a well-placed shot. Transforming her hand into a hammer, she rushed another criminal, and socked him right in the ribs, throwing him away as a ragdoll due to the momentum. "Need assistance, Cavalier? Those weapons look like they could hurt some."
  13. Mater Vyrdna Free Action: Technomorphing Configuration = Adaptive Arsenal (melee) 16PPs, Super Strength 6PPs, Adaptive Arsenal: Transportation (Flight) 8PPs. Full-Round Action: Charge up to one of the anti-vehicle weapons near the mayor's office and attack them with Adaptive Arsenal (Melee). Using a blunt hammer descriptor. 14. GM Post "~Bicycle races are coming your way. So forget all your duties oh yeah!~" THE FOOL! WITH HIS EAR-SHUTTERING, HAPPY-GO-LUCKY SINGING! MAKE HIM STOP! Tazel continued complaining, as nonexistant tears rained down his immaterial cheeks. I BEG YOU MASTER! DOUSE ME WITH HOLY WATER, WEAR A CROSS, GO TO THE CHURCH, ANYTHING!!! JUST AS LONG AS YOU RID ME OF THIS WALKING, SINGING POX! Trully, it appeared as if Billy's singing was somehow getting on Tazel's nerves. It wasn't like he was a terrible singer, either, he was no tenor, sure, but he was at least decent. Nor had Tazel exhibited any particular aversion to rock music, including that of the Queen. "~On your marks get set go!~"
  15. GM Post Following the clear trail, Billy pedaled furiously until hitting the slope, whereupon the bicycle accelarated on its own. The road was bumpy, but Billy held on firmly on the handlebar grip and ready to hit the breaks as needed. Carrying Carmen on the seat, and with him pedaling while standing, Billy knew that this trip would be anything but a cakewalk. S/W Forest, Forest Entrance Clearing 16:26 Billy and Carmen had just exited to the outskirts of St.Blaise Village, or what remained of it after the demonic rampage that had hit it. STOOOOOOOP! MAKE IT STOOOOOOOP! PLEASE MASTER, I BEG YOU, MAKE IT STOOOOOOP! Tazel writhed in agony inside Carmen, as the little imp had finally encountered the one dreaded presence to its miserable existance. "~... my bicycle, I want to ride it where I liiiiike~" Chipper Billy sang, as he tried to lift his and Carmen's spirits up. The slope had ended quite some time before, so now he was more able to kick back and enjoy the ride, hail or no hail. IT HUUUUURTS! IT BUUUUUURNS! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S UNHOLY!
  16. GM Post Movida's brow darkened, as he listened to Carmen talk about the issues she had to deal daily with her disability. "Here you are, fearlessly battling eldritch abominations and protecting us... it makes it hard to remember that underneath it all, you're still a person, just as vulnerable as we are. I think... no, I know that my admiration of you, miss Canto, grows stronger by the minute!" He exclaimed. A super human capable of leveling demons and whisking away the civilians in a blink of an eye might have been the best to ensure their safety. But one who rose up against their own weakness and fought, tooth and nail, that one was a hero worth respecting, a hero worth rooting for. "We've got a healthy supply of antibiotics, enough for three months. I'm sure that we can do at least THAT much for you, miss Canto!" Movida motioned two servants, one to bring a bottle of antibiotics, and one to deliver one of the bikes, while Billy nodded to Carmen. "Not a problem, Boss!" 5 minutes later, the two of them were out of the mansion, a bottle of antibiotics in Pitch's hands, and a bicycle in Billy's. It seemed peaceful, for now. At least, the rampaging had long since ceased, but the demons seemed to attack with little rhyme or reason, so there was no telling when things would turn south.
  17. GM Post "Well, sounds like you two've got a plan. I'll go see if I can help anyone else. If you two ever need treatment, don't hesitate t'ask!" The Doctor noted, after shaking hands with Carmen. Billy beamed at Carmen, as the good Doctor went on to examine the Captain, in case she needed any medical attention. "Honestly, boss, if anything, I think right now being close to you is the safest place! Well... as safe as the eye of the hurricane can be at any rate..." He trailed off, before mentally kicking himself. "I-I-I mean, uhhh, I trust you, boss. No one is perfect, but... I trust you!" He'd hoped he didn't make Carmen feel dejected. This situation wasn't on her! It wasn't her fault!... Wast it? In the distance, the Captain groaned as Dr Homelock was examining her. It seemed she nursed a few bruises throughout the whole ordeal, that she hadn't deemed to share with the group. A minute later, Movida approached Carmen. "Is there anything I can do for you, miss Carmen? Sorry, with the injured, and making preperations for the clinic, you understand, I had my hands full here."
  18. "No... No, it's okay. It wasn't your fault." Meatheral responded. "I was the one who stepped into the light beam pointed towards the moon with nary a worry." Still unsure of what had happened, and whether he should remain apprehensive or not, Meatheral decided that his host was being as forthrigt and honest as possible, and decided to oblige her. "Yeah, that is a good idea." The cyclonian form he had assumed started to disperse, only this time non-violently so, revealing Meatheral's human body and suit underneath it. "Well, since I'm here and all, a tour to the place wouldn't be bad. Sorry for intruding, miss Moon. I accept your gracious offer." He was, in fact, a bit startled. How does one behave in such a situation, after all. It could, for all he knew, devolve into an international (interplanetary?) incident, with great ease, given that this Red Moon person seemed important.
  19. Thanks, Trollthumper! But don't forget the Toughness Save DC23
  20. Concealed from sight, and ethereal of touch, Meatheral had little problem navigating through the crowd, taking his time to examine who was who. It was all in time to see what was taking place around him; a fight had broken. Meatheral was unsure who to side with. Well, that is, until he recalled reading something about Glamazon, King Theseus niece who had some renown for her superheroic endeavors. Between Glamazon getting to blows with a winged bird(?)-woman, and Temperance being surrounded by five swordsmen, all dressed in similar grab to the winged bird-woman, it was not hard for him to make an educated guess. Five against one hardly seems fair. Let's see if I can do anything to even the score. With that in mind, Meatheral proceeded to fly above Temperance, unleashing a barrage of high-pressured wind blasts, he took out three of the assailants of Temperance. "Not quite sure what's going on, here, but one, there's five of them and there's one of you, and two, my gut tells me to be wary of people who shop clothes from the same store. Care to fill me in on the details?" His words, coming through his dispersed body, sounded like some ventriloquist had displaced his voice.
  21. INITIATIVE ORDER (Round 03) Temperance (Unharmed, 4HPs) 16 <- Current Turn, Toughness Save Pending (DC23) Fowlerings x2 (Unharmed, 1 Prone, Minions) 14 Fowl Bandid (Bruised, NPC) 13 Glamazon (Unharmed, 3HPs) 5 Meatheral (Unharmed, Invisible, 2HPs) 1 Temperance is up!
  22. Meatheral (Air Form) Move Action: Fly above Temperance Standard Action: Take 10 to snipe three of the minions surrounding Temperance with Air Volley Shot's Autofire, using Power Attack +2/-2 (for a total of 20 attack). Due to invisibility, they're surprised, for a total of 10 defense (12 flat-footed, -2 surprise penalty). Precise Shot 2 for no penalty on Meatheral's shot. DC21+2 = DC23 Tou Save. DC18 Concentration roll for Defensive Roll bonus is too high, as they have no concentration, and could only roll 20 at best. As such, at a base Toughness of 1, they all auto-failed. EDIT: Forgot that I can't add Autofire to the Save, due to firing in a line. This means the Tou DC is 23, not 28, and the concentration roll is 18, not 23. Concentration roll vs DC18: 3#1d20 14 11 13 They fail it, and since they are at 1 Toughness, they still autofail.
  23. Distracting is boss While getting denied your dodge defense may be a problem, as long as you have non-distracting options at hand, you won't be really hosing Miracle Girl's PL effectiveness. As an alternative, Action[Full-Round] is also relatively painless, especially for ranged and/or Area effects, again, so long as you have standard action options at hand. Perhaps the Ice Cone breath could be Full-Round, representing Miracle Girl huffing and puffing, before blowing her foes away. Personally speaking, I'd link some Touch Cone Trip Knockback in there, if I could. Or the power could just be a Touch Cone Trip Knockback Ice breath, simply blowing foes away, rather than outright damaging them (you know, outside of knockback damage)
  24. Fowl Bandit: Tou save vs DC38: 1d20+9 12 Aouch! She didn't stand a chance! Let's give Glamazon 1HP, and call this a Bruise, shall we?
  25. GM Post Billy resisted a smirk at Pitch's suggestion. Certainly, she didn't give off the air of a teetotaller, but he couldn't disagree with her. Things could go south pretty fast if she wasn't operating on 100%. "Hmmmm... I dunno, Boss. I don't think you're in any shape trekking through the island on foot, unless..." a thought pop'd up on his brain at that moment. "I recall that Movida guy mentioning something about a bicycle or two. It might not be ideal for your foot to be doing any pedalling, buuut... If nothing else, I could always pedal in your place!" Meanwhile, Dr Homelock had finished with examining Pedro, and had instructed he be moved to the clinic nearby. There were only 7 able-bodied servants at that point, including her, Movida, and Dennis, but plenty more crewmembers could fill in on the shifts. After that, the doctor went to Carmen, to see how she was faring. "Miss Canto, right? On behalf of everyone on Acheron's employment, I can't thank you enough for all you've done! Don't worry about our Pedro; he's a survivor. A little blood, an IV, and some rest, and he'll be good as new!" She exclaimed, while enthusiastically holding Carmen's hand.
