  2. Taar

    Jail Break (OOC)

    Initiative roll (1d20+5=25)
  3. Deciding to lend her services at the prison after everyone else at the train yard scattered to deal with the other problems, Sarah began warping across the city. As Midnight and Arrowhawk ran towards the entrance, the air ahead of them suddenly twisted and a blonde woman in a still wet black suit. holding a sword. and smelling of sea water appeared facing the gates. Sarah gave the area quick look around as the two heroes caught up.
  4. Sarah gave a silent sigh as she trotted along behind the classic case of testosterone poisoning before speaking up. "Excuse me, Doctor? Is there any teleport interdiction anywhere on this floor? I'd like to have an idea of how mobile I can expect to be."
  5. Sarah will head over to Blackstone for Objective 2.
  6. Adventures in Magic & Mysticism, you say?! Sarah's up for that if there's room!
  7. Yes, I'm here. Initiative (1d20+5=20)
  8. Sa'right! We're grouped so it's not like we lose any exp. Long as you don't ninja the loot everything's good. :D
  9. Taking the distraction afforded by the other woman near clawing the thing's face off, Sarah finally caught her breath and steadied herself. Quickly aiming another slash at fish man's back, this time the blade struck true, easily passing through its flesh. Sarah dropped back into a ready position as the stolen energy swept through her, easing the damage from the water blast.
  10. Attack roll against Fishstick (1d20+10=28) Yeah, that's a hit. DC 23 Toughness and I heal that bruise if he takes any damage this.
  11. Sarah Prescott: Feathers & Blade (1) Monsters in the Streets! - Greenbank (1) Total: 1+1 = 2 posts
  12. Hm. I think to best get appropriate abilities without multi-classing arcane caster and warrior (and thus sucking) I think a Human Cleric of Mask would work best for Sarah. Specifically built as a melee character using buff spells, plus as a hat tip if you don't remember, Animate Dead and Shades, which are the best summon spells in that game.
  13. "Alright. So, do we pick an empty alley and I hide while you pull our marks to there or what?" Once the plan is finalized, Sarah proceeded to hide herself wherever it was most convenient and wait for the show to start.
  14. Sarah caught the water blast full on for a second before she managed to warp away. Reappearing behind the thing, coughing and spluttering, Sarah swiped weakly at the creature's back. Distracted by the water in her eyes and coughing up what she had swallowed, she was unable to put any force behind the blow causing her sword to merely scrape along the fishman's scales.
  15. Sarah's Reflex Save DC 21 (1d20+7=8) So a Toughness save DC 26 (1d20+10=23) failed by 3 Sarah will teleport opposite Grim and Attack roll (1d20+10=20), 22 if she can get flanking against House, Toughness DC 23
  16. Sarah failed her Toughness check by 1 Ny, so she should have a Bruise or Injury, whichever type the mook hit her with
  17. "No problem. See you there!" With that, Sarah gave Alex a grin and wave before vanishing. Making her way in a series of jumps, she eventually arrived at the address a few minutes later. Warping to a roof top at the intersection, Sarah looked around her to find Alex.
  18. Ny, while the mook got past the Mirror Image, Sarah's miss chance is 50%, so they need an 11, not a 6 to hit her. Reflection Field DC 21 (1d20+5=18) It hit, so a Toughness save DC 23 (1d20+10=22), failed by 1.
  19. Smirking after the Jack, Sarah leaned through the entrance and scan the halls to either side. With a soft tearing sound, she appeared behind the machine down the right-hand passage and slammed her sword down through a joint in the metal shell. Immediately the robot sagged and went dead as every drop of electricity in its power supply surged into the blade and was absorbed. Just as suddenly, she was back with the others, the bruising on her face already gone.
  20. Sarah turnabout attacks from the entrance Attack roll (1d20+10=30) Critting the bot to the right of the entry, and auto-healing her bruise due to the vampiric recovery check having a +13
  21. Staggering back as the demon's assault threatened to drown her, Sarah fell to one knee as she let out a sob of despair. She stared at floor as she began to hyperventilate in response, but her anger at the situation ignited a fire inside that sent a surge of magic through her that swept aside the feelings of hopelessness. Surging to her feet, Sarah gave an enraged scream as she swing wildly at the demon's head.
  22. Will Save vs Despair DC 26 (1d20+5=12) Spend a HP to Will Save reroll vs Despair DC 26 (1d20+5=24) so she only takes the penalty instead of being overwhelmed. Attack roll against Demon (1d20+8=20) should hit, so Toughness DC 23
  23. Giving Moira a quick smile in thanks for names, she listened in to the discussion. After thinking for a moment, she stepped forward. "Um, hello everyone. My name's Sarah, I'm here with Divine. Doctor, I don't know how useful it might be in this situation, but I'm able to teleport and I don't need anything more than a general description of where I'm going to do it. I can't directly bring anyone with me, but I can put someone in a sort of extra-dimensional pocket. If there's somewhere inside that you want to get to and it's not blocked off from me, I could take you there."
