  1. GM Toxin breathes heavily, stumbling slightly as she looks around. Her breath is heavy, fogging up the face plate, making it even more difficult to see her face. The way she moves, it is almost like a puppet with the strings cut, like whatever was keeping her up, whatever was controlling her, is just... gone. She curses loudly, as she turns to stare in the direction of Shift and Nightscale, before her eyes turn to Ms. Scorpion. "What did you do? What the hell did you make us do!?" Toxin starts moving towards Ms. Scorpion on uneasy steps, stumbling, though her murderous intent is clear.

  3. Spaceman Right. That doesn't sound suspicious at all. The face of American military super heroes showing up leading a group of faceless soldiers, holding down super heroes that's controlled by the Communion? And they know that there's a reality warper running around? "Let me try something else first," Parker says, as he steps towards the gate. He's not so sure about breaking through it, not until he knows what is going on. Reaching for the door, he instead scatters his own body's cohesion, increasing his molecular distance enough that he instead steps through the door, while holding his hands up to show the people inside that he means no harm. "Hi, I'm Spaceman. What's your story?"

GM With Nightscale holding Casanova and Shift suddenly appearing as the delivery mechanism sends her through the roof, the struggling Casanova can only stare and curse when the metallic appendage smashes into his face. His nose is broken once more, probably beyond all repair this time. He stares wide-eyed at the scene before him, the heroes that showed up in the nick of time and then, he slumps forward, barely muttering "But... this wasn't...", before falling silent, his head slumped forward. To Shadowborne and Ghule, it is like a switch has been flipped in their mind. A fog is gone, they are in control again... and Toxin, she stops in her tracks, looking around with a confused look. Both Shadowborne and Ghule should be able to remember that she had been with Casanova by the points that they had been pulled in by him, and now she just looks lost, even through the containment suit.
  5. The STORMCROW "'scale, push him forward! Shift, aim for his nose!" It might sound mean, but Stormcrow has studied Sebastian Shields to an obsessive degree. He knows all his weak spots. Like the nose that he had personally broken multiple times as Nevermore. Plus, he tended to have a glass jaw, and that should be more than enough, especially with Nightscale holding him tight.
  6. TOU save vs. DC27 TOU save: 28 Cass takes the hit! And I'll spend a HP from Stormcrow's Luck Control and Force Cas to reroll: 11 That is a KO. And with that, Shadowborne, Ghule, Toxin and Bluebird are no longer mind controlled, but Chump and Ms. Scorpion are still standing.   7. GM Ms. Scorpion looks up at the sound of the laugh, just in time to see the staff being pulled out and swung at her and mutter a "Shit..." before the staff collides with her face. She screams, clutching her nose. "Wo id dad!? Bwoke my nose!" Chump for his part shakes his head, too shocked from the last blow to really realize what is going on, as the paper wraps around him, and yet, the bruises seem to fade as he shakes his head and glares at Paper.
  8. The STORMCROW Stay hidden. Out of sight. Use the darkness to your advantage. He shouldn't. He really shouldn't. But he can't help himself. From above, a part of the darkness suddenly breaks away from the rest. What at first seems to be giant black wings spread out, as the figure emerges, moving somewhere between a fall and flight. The black wings are quickly revealed as a glider cape, black on the ouside, dark grey on the inside, with light blue lining at the edge. Light blue boots and bracers, a bird like light blue visor over his eyes, a mouth opening in the dark cowl. A silver utility belt with a dark logo with a bird on the buckle, and, on the chest, a large light blue birds logo. There's similarities to the Nevermore uniform, but it is clearly something else. And then he starts laughing. A familiar laugh, one that sounds like he is just having the time of his life. And as he soars towards the shocked Ms. Scorpion, Stormcrow folds in the cape and drops towards her, pulling out a quickly expanding staff and smacks her in the head, breaking her nose in the process, before he lands, whirling around with the staff held out to the side. "Took you guys long enough!" he is grinning widely as looks around at everyone else, before speaking into the built in communicator in his cowl. "Some shock and awe would be really great right about now! Try to aim for Cas, Chump or whip girl, I'm pretty sure the rest of them are mind controlled."
  9. Ms. Scorpion: Notice vs. Stormcrow's Stealth 25 for sneak attack: 11, catching her flat-flooted. Stormcrow swoops down and hits Ms. Scorpion with his staff: 20, that's a hit. Rolling DC25 TOU save for Ms. Scorpion: 11 Fail by 14, she is staggered and dazed.   10. The STORMCROW Attending a Freedom League party? Now that's a first for Charlie Pratten. Alek simply hadn't let him go after he had first arrived on the scene, but now he is flying solo. A partner, not a sidekick anymore, and he got his own thing going with his friends, anyway. Still, having backing from the Summers Estate is a nice thing, especially when it lets him show up in a tailor made black suit and tie, on top of a dark blue dress shirt. The black tie has a rather intricate tribal crow design in light blue. He is wearing a pair of horn-rimmed glasses. Sure, he doesn't need glasses, but the built in HUD is nice for updating him on who everyone is. Charlie arrived a bit ago and mingled, talking with some of the big shots, putting himself out there, but by now, but honestly, it gets boring after a while. And some fun is better. Moving through the crowds, he smiles and greets people and whatnot, but he knows that Bernie is supposed to be here, and finally spotting her, he grins as he falls into the crowds and slowly begins making his way towards her, hiding in the crowds. The HUD quickly identifies everyone around her as Claremont students. Maybe they have heard about him? Probably not, though, most of them are after Alek pulled him out of the school. When Bernie got her back turned, he emerges from the crowd with a wide grin, leans in close and gets ready to move out of the way just in case, before he whispers "Boo" in her ear.

  14. Spaceman Parker stares at Consuelo for a moment, mouth slightly open, before turning it into a grin. "Yeah, alright. Let's do that." A "acting like he's superior" jar? Sure, that sounds reasonable enough. Moving over by Lawrence, he looks between them, and back to Consuelo, shrugging quickly. "I'm not really seeing it, but sure, I got an uniform. I just didn't feel right wearing it right away. Didn't want to stand out too much." "I gotta agree with the others, Mizuki. We needed some direction, and you did great. It would have been different if we could have actually planned for the situation, put necessary distance and everything." She did better than the rest of them at trying to actually coordinate, even if Parker had tried.
  15. That is a hit, but no charge, since you'd have to move around everyone there to to Sebastian. You beat his Defense enough to add 2 ranks to the roll, so that's a total DC31 TOU save: 28 That's a bruise, then. Grapple: 16, which means that he is bound and helpless, but remember, his powers do not require that he moves.   16. GM The Multi-Girl explosion crashes through the warehouse, kicking and punching. While Casanova manages to block and move out of the way, staring wide eyed and pissed at the original Multi-Girl, most of his cohorts are not quite as lucky. The people in the ragged clothes are handily dealt with, while Bluebird is completely overwhelmed by a group of Multi-Girls that take turns beating on her. Ms. Scorpion does her best to fend off the duplicates, but she is hit in the back by a sneak attack, while Chump is completely dumbfounded. The hits keep raining down on him, but that doesn't stop him, until a particular blow to his jaw makes him see stars for a moment. Toxin, for her part, is safe behind her armored containment suit. "Somebody take her out, right now!" Casanova yells, almost in a panic.

I haven't actually activated the Master Plan yet @Thevshi, so it's just +5, which puts you at 23, which is still enough to hit everyone but Casanova, since they're all still pretty centered right now. @Lone_Star, you should make a DC27 TOU save vs. Multi-Girl's attack. Rolling for the minions, none of them pass, so they are all KO'ed. Bluebird: 11, fail by more than 15, KO. Ms. Scorpion: 26, that's a bruise. Chump: 19, Bruised and Dazed Toxin: 29, passed And that does miss Chump. Small note shared on discord too, but in case anyone misses it there: Charlie only communicated to Shift, not everyone.   18. A beige beanie pulled over his distinctive red hair, a pair of fake glasses with no strength and a thick sweater, so different from what his friends would normally recognize him with. Not the most elaborate disguise, but enough that people he knows are likely to not notice him. It should be enough, anyway, since the young man is not quite ready to let his friends know that he is back in Freedom. He really should stay away until he is ready, but he couldn't help himself when he saw that Bernie was going to be on stage. Standing in the crowds, he looks around. He can see his friends, but makes sure they can't see him, and then, there she is, Bernie on the stage. And oh, he is happy that he decided to go. He smiles. If his friends in attendance or on the scene saw him, that smile alone should be enough to recognize him. He does, of course, make sure that they don't.
  19. Spaceman With Pyre disappearing, Parker pulls his hand back, out of the higher dimension. It takes focus to return to just one plane, but slowly, the black crackle rising from his body disappears. He looks at his hand briefly, before he floats down to the others that has gathered around Baz. Baz seems alright, at least, especially with Lawrence doing his whole time rewind thing. It is always strange to see. Parker kind of wishes he had that kind of control, but it can't be helped. Since Baz is taken care of, he instead turns to Consuelo. "That was a nice shot, taking the gas woman out like that," he says. He can at least admit that she did great, to try and show that he is sincere about his previous apology.
  20. Spaceman "If he can do anything, do you then think we can kick his ass if he doesn't want us to?" Parker asks Baz. "I mean, I'm still gonna try, if it comes to it." But they should play along. Parker follows the Patriot and the armored agents, and watched the message from Lady Liberty, calling them fascists. Right. A super hero civil war. "I could try, but, ma'am, what is going on here? Why are you after Lady Liberty?"
  21. Spaceman Parker might have, if he should say so himself, done a pretty good job against the first round of bad guys, but right now? He just isn't having a lot of luck. The water girl got away, then the Consuelo takes her down, and Lawrence moves around, stopping down the rock and water man. Mizuki, no, Torpedo Lass, takes her shot, stopping him in his tracks for now, but he's still standing. "Right. Restraint." Spaceman grits his teeth, as he turns around, facing Pyre. The black crackle is flowing freely from his body now. Reaching into the upper dimensions like this, it is difficult to maintain. It is much more difficult to control, but the headmistress didn't want them to hold back. Reaching forward, he closes his hand that has reached into the 4th dimension. The shadow of a giant fist begins to close around Pyre, moving in to crush him. "Trying to hold him. Someone knock him out." He is obviously straining as he speaks.

No idea if Pyre got Insubstantial or not, so gonna keep up my stunt and try to smack him with it: 22 That should hit, so that's a DC23 Toughness save, and I'll establish a grapple as well, with 31 to establish the grapple. And if he's pinned, I'll use the Chokehold feat to apply a DC10 Fort save vs. Suffocation. --- Keeping my stunted power in here so I remember it...   23. GM The foam that bound Casanova breaks, shattering into tiny pieces as Ghule makes short word of them. While Toxin, without saying a song, drops down to the floor and starts running towards the door where the dinosaur was before, Casanova shakes his body as he glares around. "I don't know!" he almost snarls at Ghule, showing no appreciation for her help. "But I'm going to find them and rip their mind apart!" He closes his eyes and focuses, and, when his search proves fruitless, yells and points at Paper. "Close your eyes! You're not gonna see anything ever again!"
  24. Toxin can't quite reach the entrance, but she jumps down from her current position and moves towards the door that Paper came in from. Casanova uses a Move Action to perform a mental Search to try to locate whoever snared him: 12. That is not enough to locate Stormcrow. He uses his Standard Action to use Dazzle against Paper, since he is visible through the door: @Spacefurry give me a DC20 Will Save vs. being Dazzled. It is Will Saves to try and get rid of it afterwards, not Fort. He essentially tries to mentally blind you.
