  1. "You know, I have never tried," Pan mused, to Eira as much to himself. "I do not see why not." He waved his hand in between them, where it seemed to disappear for a moment, before reappearing. "I know that I can hide from cameras, so why not change sound for recording?" He paused again, seeming to be in deep thought for the moment. "I think the first song would be the best choice, yes. I do like the whole thing with the eagle flying."
  2. GM Alice kept slowly brushing Micah's hair, but her eyes stayed on Elizabeth as she talked and danced. "Yes... it would make for a good story," she agreed, her tone sounding a bit uncertain. Micah had of course just met Alice, but it felt like he had always known her, did it not? She seemed distant for a brief second, then tugged on Micah's arm. "Come on, Micah, we should get going, right? I'm sure you can show me around this entire wonderful place, right? I want to see everything here."
  3. GM Irons remained silent as they walked, the soldier by their side. The commander led, with Chromium between him and the soldier. The sound of Commander Irons' feet echoed through the hallways. It didn't take long to get to the room in question, through long, sterile white halls. Wherever they were, they were no longer on the ship, at least. They had passed several soldiers stationed by doors on the way, before Commander Irons stopped outside of a door. The guard opened it, and Irons motioned with his head for Chromium to enter. "Go on in, then. Remember, we're watching."
  4. Pan put on a bit of a pout at Adam's declining. He opened his mouth as if to say something, then closed it, took a moment. "Well, if that is how you feel, and you would rather miss out on an adventure, then I suppose it is for the best." He held out his open hand. "Headphones, then? I trust you will not be spoiling anything, but I suppose it is better if you do not know anymore, then." There was some disappointment in his voice, but by now, Adam should know Pan enough to know that he would quickly get over that. Once Adam had made his final decisions to either stay or leave, Pan would turn back to Eira. "Vain or not, putting your own voice on would make it too easy for the headmistress to pinpoint you as the culprit, as awesome as that would be. I think it would be rather amusing to hear the headmistress sing a song like this." He nodded thoughtfully, and reached forward to scroll through the selection of songs. "Do we want a message, or do we want to make noise?"
  5. "Mesi," Marcus respond as he held on tight to Camellia. She made them move fast. Part of him wanted to change, to shift into his armor, but it might cause her raft to sink. No, he would have to wait for the right time, once they were closer. Everything was a mess. People in the water. Fire, on both the ship and the sea. He could see other heroes, the Woodsman trying to put out the fire. Who even knew what state the people on the ship were in? And the way it was taking on water, with the hole, that couldn't be helping. Of everyone he could see here, he was probably the most uniquely suited for taking care of that. "When we closer, I'm going to transform and leap to the ship, try to close the hole. I'll do my best not to topple the raft, but I can't promise you anything." He was strong, but, well, also heavy. Finally approaching, he let go of Persephone and stood up. He looked down quickly and offered a "Bòn chans", before he called out, as if he was calling out to the gods themselves. "I am iron! I am covered with iron!" The change was instant, as he grew, and then leapt towards the ship. He couldn't even look behind to see how Camellia was doing, cursing himself for having no other options. Hitting the hole in the ship, he quickly came to a stop. Everyone aboard the ship might have felt the impact, but he didn't have time to deal with that right now. Turning back, started reaching broken bits and pieces of the ship. He could see the heat coming off them, but he felt nothing as he went to work, pulling them back into place, doing all he could to close the hole before the ship took on even more water.
  6. Cheval will transform and try to close the hole. His Impervious Tou 12 takes care of the damage DC, and Strength + Super-Strength attempt: 1d20+12+9 = 27 Success!
  7. GM Alice's grip on Micah tightened. Just a little bit, not nearly enough to hurt, or anything, but enough that he could feel it. "Who's Judy?" she asked, rather bluntly. She still sounded calm, but there was a slight edge to her voice. Not that Micah was very likely to notice it. "Why would you want drama, anyway? Wouldn't it be better to just have some fun?" Her grip on Micah remained tight, but her voice quickly losing the edge at the questions about drama and fun. She reached forward with her free hand and started gentlyy brushing Micah's hair.
  8. Alright, let's go with Rebound first: That's a hit, so DC25 TOU save for Madame Blitz: 17, fail by 8, already Dazed and yet another Bruise. Madame Blitz is tougher than the rest of her team, it seems. Donar uses Skill Mastery for his Intimidate to beat the Intimidate attempt. Reflex: 11, nope. TOU: 27, tanks the grenade. Watchdog got 2 explosives left. Daystar hits, obviously, so first fort save: 17. I'll veto him making that save, giving Watchdog a HP instead. TOU Save: 20, he gets another bruise. @Avenger Assembled, @TheAbsurdist: Can I see some IC posts for that? 29 - Forever Boy - 5HP - Unharmed - Obscure East of Church: 19 rounds remaining24 - Specimen - 2HP - Unharmed23 - Die Walküre - Bruise (x1) - On frontlines, near Forever Boy and Specimen. In Obscure effect.22 - Sea-Wolf - Unharmed, Bound and Helpless, No dodge bonus - On frontlines, between Forever Boy and Specimen (near the bridge) and the church. Still in Obscure effect20 - Roter Adler - KO18 - Rebound - 3HP - Unharmed17 - Watchdog - 2HP - Bruise (x2) - 3 assorted explosives used11 - Daystar - Unharmed, Fatigued starting next round 11 - Die Eule - KO - Inside the Church11 - Madame Blitz - Bruise (x5), Dazed - Outside church, to the East, close to Forever Boy and Specimen11 - Enemy Combatants_____ Tanks: 4 smashed, 1 near Specimen and Forever Boy (1 damaged: Bruise (x1), Injury (x1))_____ Soldiers: 9 KO, 4 near Legatus, 10 near Specimen and Forever Boy7 - Donar - Bruise (x2) - Inside church2 - Legatus - 0HP - Unharmed
  9. GM "Aw, that's great!" she said, listening to Micah playing and singing, before she started singing along. Her voice seemed captivating, beautiful, a perfect match for Micah's, it seemed. Leaning in close, she placed a hand on his shoulder as she sang. Her hand felt warm, as she lightly caressed Micah. She stopped singing, but didn't pull away from Micah, when Elizabeth appeared. She smiled at Elizabeth and shook her head. "Oh, hello. Nice to meet you." Her grip on Micah tightened, just slightly. "I'm Alice. We were just having som fun, I hope that's alright?"
  10. A grappling hook arrow and a short swing later, Connor landed on the ground, close to Triakosia, Terrifica and big and ugly. His trick had worked, the pretty colors kept the big guy stunned for the moment. Not that he had any idea how long it'd last. Not like he'd been testing out his arrows against frogs before. Keeping his bow in hand, but without drawing an arrow from the quiver just yet, he approached as Triakosia addressed big and ugly. "You wouldn't listen, man." He stopped some six feet away, not wanting to get too close just yet. He needed to have time to react if Mr. Toad started acting up again. "You agree that rioat foam and pretty lights are better than starting to hit you, right?" A bit out of character, maybe, but the guy had sounded confused. No reason to fight someone that didn't know what was going on.
  11. "Interesting." Pan poked at the headset with his free hand, turning it around a bit, before plopping it on. "Not quite as elegant as an illusion, but serves its purpose, I suppose." He looked at Adam, an amused grin on his lips at his friend's little protest. "Obviously, we do. It would be downright irresponsible to keep our voices low." Pan agreed with Eira, crossing his arms, and looking over to Adam. "It will be an adventure, a chance to learn, to leave you comfort zone! Training for the high risk infiltration missions you will one day have to go through!" He took a brief pause from his attempts to win Adam over to look over at Eira with a grin and a wink. "Obviously, I am in. Do you have plan for what you want to say? Should it be with your voice, or with someone else's?" As he spoke at the end, his voice shifted to the headmistress.
  12. Yep, that's a hit. TOU: 14 And Adam takes out another Nazi... Give me an IC, then @TheAbsurdist is up, followed by @Avenger Assembled 29 - Forever Boy - 5HP - Unharmed - Obscure East of Church: 19 rounds remaining24 - Specimen - 2HP - Unharmed23 - Die Walküre - Bruise (x1) - On frontlines, near Forever Boy and Specimen. 13. Forever Boy Pan whistled as the Nazi warrior woman went flying. Adam's blow was impressive, but he was soon distracted. The crash ahead, the noise near the church. Yelling, people being hit and hurt. He could distinctly hear Rebound shouting about hating Nazis as glass shattered, and the sound of more fighting from inside the church. "Adam, my friend, can you handle the wolf? I think our friends might need us." He didn't wait for a response, before flying off at full speed towards the church and Rebound. A glittering golden sword formed in Pan's hand as he flew, which he quickly swung towards Madame Blitz as he reached Rebound. The blade might have bounced off her force field, but at least he still did some damage.
  14. Pan rushes ahead to Rebound and Madame Blitz and attacks the grappled Madame Blitz with a Forever Weapon: 21 That's a hit, so a DC27 TOU save for Madame Blitz: 19, fail by 8, Dazed and Bruised. Madame Blitz is tough. @Thunder King, you're up 29 - Forever Boy - 5HP - Unharmed - Obscure East of Church: 19 rounds remaining24 - Specimen - 2HP - Unharmed23 - Die Walküre - Bruise (x1) - On frontlines, near Forever Boy and Specimen. 15. GM The blow was more than enough. Roter Adler tumbled, fell through the sky. They had been far up, flying so fast, so high, and now he was falling. Unless Legatus wanted to change story by the premature death of Roter Adler, he would have to act fast. Of course, it might not matter so much to the teen of adamant. There was plenty other for him to deal with, after all. Inside the church, Watchdog and Daystar were facing Donar. The thunder god's hammer slammed into Watchdog as she once again protected her charge, not that Donar seemed to care who he hit. Rebound had pulled Madame Blitz out the window to the East of the building, getting closer to Forever Boy and Specimen. Between them, Sea-Wolf was bound by Forever Boy's shadow.
  16. @TheAbsurdist: To keep things going, I'll just roll your Fort save vs the DC20 Stun Effect: 21, not stunned.
  17. GM "Aw, don't be so down, sweetie." Micah didn't notice someone coming, it was almost like she was just suddenly there. She was maybe a year or two older than him, with long dark hair tied into a pair of long braids that reached past her shoulders. The woman looked like she might even be Cherokee. She wore worn blue jeans, with holes at the knees, a tight tan jacket that did little to hide her form. She smiled widely, leaning down over Micah to get a good look at his guitar. A pair of aviator's goggles hang from around her neck, and if Micah got a look from behind her, he would see a large image of a classic Supermarine Spitfire from World War 2. "You're too good lookin' to be feelin' this down, how about playin' somethin' a bit happier? Got any favorites?" Micah might not have noticed anything, the woman was just suddenly there. Elizabeth, on the other hand, had managed to look up just in time to see a quick flash as a ray of light struck down from the sky and reached the roof Micah was sitting on.
  18. I'll try and fit everyone in eventually, probably aiming for at most 2-3 characters involved at once.
  19. Damn. Didn't hold the guy for even a moment. Big and ugly just smashed out of the riot foam like it was nothing. At least Triakosia flew in and... blew wind at him. Didn't even phase the big guy. Placing the arrow he had chosen back in the quiver, Connor moved his fingers back, picking a few others. Big, strong, tough. Taking hits, keeping on going. Still, sounded like he was fighting against the Terminus. If it was all just one big misunderstanding, then it wouldn't do to put arrows in him, right? Something to calm him down a bit, then. Letting the Strobe Light Arrows fly on by one, Connor aimed straight by the big guy's eyes, where he'd be hit by quick bursts of dancing lights from all around, no matter where he looked. Not close enough to get to the others, but hopefully enough to stop the big frog guy for a moment.
  20. @Fox, could I get you to join in from the start too?
  21. Alright, we'll see how it goes. Starting off with just @KnightDisciple, then I'll be calling others in as they thread goes on. Can I get a short intro from you about where Micah's at? IC here, ooc coming if needed
  22. GM Claremont Academy, Freedom City 3PM, February 14th, 2020 The being came from the stars, far beyond Earth. Travelling on the interstaller waves and cosmic light, it soared towards the Earth, beyond Jupiter, past Mars, a line of invisble light going past the Moon. If anyone tracked it, if anyone could even keep up with the ray of light as it headed towards the Earth, it would become clear that it was heading towards one particular academy in one particular city. The weather was nice. Sunny, slightly warm for February, a few clouds on an otherwise clear sky. Classes had ended early for once, something about someone having gotten to the PA systems, and it had sounded very much like Headmistress Summers announcing that classes were cancelled for the rest of the day. Before anyone figured otherwise, the chaos was too great, and the teachers decided to just let the students have the day. Everyone was young and in love at some point, after all. Which was just what the being was after. A place full of young, brave, beautiful heroes. What better place to find someone worthy of its full, undivided, cosmic love?
  23. CHEVAL Cheval cursed as the floor cracked and buckled. Tiny pink hands pushed their way out, this creature's children pushing up, going for them. So, what should he do? Destroy the house, risk releasing everything? Fight these things one by one? Run? No, he was Cheval. He did not run. This was just another beast, another abomination created through horror and pain, another monster to be slain. And the Woodsman had the right idea. "Persephone, stay behind me!" he shouted, flames swirling around his right hand, before he punched down, straight into floor boards with the grasping hands, releasing a blast of fire from the impact, deep into the area below, before quickly stepping back.
  24. Wet, slimy stuff pulling him in? Cheval is not dealing with that crap again. Flame Strike into the hole beneath the house that's trying to pull him in, 120 ft. Area Fire Cone. DC22 REF, then DC21/27 TOU for anything caught in that. Then taking a step away from all that. Oh, and is Cheval's spirit vision picking up anything here?
  25. "Will there be a secret knock on the door, too?" Pan made a few quick knocking noises on the table, spelling out HELLO in morse code. Standing up straight, he made a quick bow to Eira. "I could make this place secure from any prying eyes, but I guess I shall see you tonight, then." He winked at Eira, threw an arm around Adam and pulled him along, talking along as he brought him away from Eira again. "You will join me, right? You look like you could use some fun." He nudged Adam in the side with his elbow, his grin suddenly turning sly. "Besides, I am sure that Eira's roommate would be happy to have you show up."
