  1. She can't recognize the blue powder, but its likely that its something new.
  2. Original idea was Galahad, but honestly, I'm not sure what I'd do there. I've started considering using Ywain/Owain (I kinda like Owain better, but eh), going off his Lion motif. Going from that, he would be a proud leader type, getting most of the different leadership, inspire, etc. feats. Not really sure what to do beyond that yet, or if that's what I'll go for. Or maybe Sir Kay. Go for the size-changing, always wanted to make an Atom/Ant-Man type character... decisions, decisions...
  3. Lancelot the Best Knight. Mordred the Traitor Knight.

Catchphrase: "Hear my roar!" Theme: Godzilla King of Monsters Main Theme - Bear McCreary Alternate Identity: Leonard Fitzroy Koenig III Birthplace: Berlin, Germany Residence: Cosmic Camelot Base of Operations: Cosmic Camelot Occupation: Cosmic Knight of the Round Table, Adventurer, Lawyer Affiliations: Cosmic Camelot Family: Leonard Fitzroy Koenig II (Father, judge), Sofia Anna Koenig (Mother, lawyer), Maria Anna Koenig (Younger sister, artist), Leonard Fitzroy Koenig I (paternal grandfather, retired judge) DESCRIPTION Age: Born August 5th, 1992 Gender: Male Ethnicity: Caucasian, Germanic ancestry Height: 6’2’’ Weight: 200 lbs. Eyes: Yellow Hair: Dirty blonde Leonard is tall and imposing, with a hard gaze and medium dirty blonde hair and beard. He usually dresses in suits in dark colors. Leonard's Lion Knight Armor is made of dark blue and golden metals. The main armor is dark blue, with golden armored boots, gauntlets and shoulder pads, along with golden armor on his abdomen and thighs. The golden armor on his chest extends in massive golden color that reaches just above his eyes. He wears a white cape connected to his shoulder pads. HISTORY Leonard Fitzroy Koenig III is the son and scion of the prestigious Koenig family, a family of lawyers and judges with roots stretching back hundreds of years. Leonard was given a strict but loving upbringing, fully expected to follow in his family's footsteps. Leonard did as was expected of him, and he did well. By the age of 25, he was well on his way to becoming a renowned lawyer in Germany, though his father was somewhat annoyed that Leonard prefered to take cases as the defense, rather the prosecution, and that he seemed rather selective, only wanting to defend clients that he thought were innocent. While his younger sister's choice to become an artist rather than a lawyer strained her relationship with the rest of the family, Leonard stayed close to her, continuing to spend time together, buying many of her paintings to support her. He was doing well enough that money was no object by this point in his life. In 2021, Merlin forced the newest cycle of Camelot to begin. Leonard was the revealed as the newest incarnation of Owain, the Lion Knight, in the middle of a family dinner. His sister was thrilled. His parents and grandfather considerably less so. They did not believe that Leonard was meant to protect the weak. He was meant to guide the law, for innocent and guilty alike, to one day become a judge like his father, grandfather and so many in the family before him. A good, comfortable life, wanting for nothing, with the legacy of their family secure. Leonard refused his parents' world view. He had already believed that his abilities in law were meant to protect the weak. Now he was revealed to posses greater powers still. Wearing the Lion Knight Armor, he joined the Knights of the Round Table, a knight of Cosmic Camelot. PERSONALITY & MOTIVATION Leonard is proud man, immensely secure in himself and in being right. He values rules and laws, but is not above breaking them for the greater good. Often intense and intimidating, Leonard is hard to dismiss in any room he enters, making sure that his voice is heard. He is by no means a subtle man, or one to hide his stance on things for the sake of peace or compromise. He likes Since being recruited as the newest incarnation of Owain, Leonard has made it his mission to lead the Knights of the Round Table in the absence of any incarnation of Arthur. Even if others disagree, he reasons that he is the Lion Knight, and that his abilities grants him a tactical overview that the rest of his group might lack. He has little trust in Mordred the Dragon Knight, believing that she is bound to follow in the path of her past incarnation. While by no means a gentle individual, Leonard prioritizes the defense of innocents above all else. He will easily put down his life to protect anyone. After all, it is the duty of the strong to defend the weak. POWERS & TACTICS Leonard powers are psionic and telekinetic in nature, granted to him when he wears the Lion Knight Armor. Never one to be subtle, Leonard uses his powers at full force, creating grand displays of power while letting eveyone know that he is the one to telekinetically attack entire armies or telepathically enforcing his will on a target. The reason for this strategy is two-fold: Leonard is simply a bombastic individual, proud of his power, and it drives attention to him instead of his allies or innocents, preferably turning him into his enemies' primary target. Using his telepathic abilities allows Leonard a unique perspective on the battlefield, letting him formulate strategies to help him and his allies in combat or locate innocents in need of help. POWER DESCRIPTIONS Owain's powers are psionic in nature. While normally only expressing his power in the form of an enhanced presence and a lack of fear, Leonard is able to access far more formidable power by wearing the Lion Knight Armor. While wearing the armor, Owain posses powerful telepathic and telekinetic abilities, which express themselves with a light blue aura that often takes on leonine or knightly shapes, such as forming a roaring lion aura around Owain while he uses a psionic attack, a lion biting his enemies for a telekinetic strike or a shield or armor when he uses his telekinesis defensively to create a force field. Owain's telekinetic powers are formidable, allowing him to lift and manipulate great weight or even form temporary objcets of pure telekinetic force. Owain uses his telekinesis to fly and instinctively form protective fields to keep himself safe. His telepathic abilities including altering enemies' emotion and reading minds, and though he is loathe to do so, performing mind control. He can communicate telepathically and expand his senses to cover great areas, or even create a shrouded dead zone, where he telepathically blocks all senses of his targets. COMPLICATIONS Honor Before Reason: A knight's honor is beyond reproach. Owain will not go back on his word or lie, attack from behind or do anything of the like. If this is exploited, the GM can award Owain a Hero Point. Lion vs. Dragon: Owain has a deep distrust of the newest incarnation of Mordred. He can't quite explain it, it is more like an instinct than anything else, even if Mordred might be different this time around, and certainly doesn't seem to be King Arthur's child. If this distrust causes issues that complicates a situation, the GM can award Owain a Hero Point. The Lion King: Leonard is a proud man. He is the lion knight, and he takes pride in both who he is and what he can do. If someone exploits his pride, the GM can award Owain a Hero Point. The Strong Protects the Weak: Owain must always protect those weaker than him. He will keep civillians and the innocent safe, even if it leaves him vulnerable to attack. If a GM exploits Owain's desire to protect others to open him up for attack or otherwise makes a situation worse, they can award him a Hero Point. 5. Rule of cool. But yes. Can just be a stunt or something
  6. I like all the ideas here! Adding to the Power Rangers/Sentai/Etc. thing with colors and armors, should we go full on mecha at some point? We could, eventually or at the start, spring for a Morph power with Metamorph each, which would be for a big armor with Growth, maybe bumping their PL up a bit, if we want to lean completely into that part of the theme. Giant Knight Armor. Look at my Justice sheet for how that could work. I got a good idea for an Arthur pretender type villain, actually, so that fits well. As for Mordred, @RedSpine had some plans for potentially playing one in that role, which I think we should leave open, in case they want to do that. I'll try to do a post to summarize everything so far in the thread when I got the time/brain power, then maybe its time to start building characters soon. So, what are your ideas for what knights you're going for?
  7. GM A little girl gasped when Shift turned into Elsa. She was slightly pale, with long blonde hair tied into a braid that reached her hips. She wore a little emerald green dress. She almost jumped while she held her hand up, waving for attention. When her teacher nodded at her, she lowered her hand. "Um, um... Are you a real fairy tale dragon? Like the kind that sleeps on gold?" She was almost bouncing when she turned to Shift. "And, and! Can you turn into anything?"
  8. Spaceman Parker smiled, crossed his arms and standing aside to let the children swarm while the kids demonstrated what they could do, putting on a show. "Good observation, Lucas." He wasn't really surprised. Of course Lucas would do something like that. "Your mom got a point, y'know. Nanomachines can be dangerous, but so can anything else. That doesn't mean that we have to be scared of our friend Shift, here. They're a person just like us, and, well, anything can be dangerous in the wrong hands, right?" "That's the point of learning how to be better, after all."
  9. "The writing is on the wall," Pan stated. He sounded amused at the entire experience. "That one," he pointed to one side, "says: Watch out, cargo door." With a brief pause, he pointed to the other side of the room. "And that one says exit." He looked around, he seemed distracted. "This all feels very familiar. Do the space of your world have pirates?" He still seemed distracted, looking around. His eyes focused on a flying thing, a little robot that whirred around. His lips split into a smile. He nodded towards it, and his shadow came loose from his feet, flying towards the little robot to try and engulf it.
  10. Pan can read anything too! Gonna send his Shadow out to try and catch the flying robot, that's an attack roll at 25, with Indirect 3, so might catch it flat footed. Reflex at DC20 vs. Snare if it hits.
  11. Hear me out here... Cosmic Camelot They might be based on Earth, but we give the whole thing a bit of a New Gods-inspired angle? They can deal with Earth stuff, they can go into Space. We put a bit of a cosmic angle to the whole thing? We need to set aside some PP for a sweet HQ, maybe donate a bit each. I got 4PP worth of unused vet reward for Equipment atm. I'm good with PL10 with room to grow, though whether people wanna use 150 or 180PP slots are up to them. I like the ideas for Merlin and Arthur being absent. Maybe that's something that'd be an underlying storyline for them: They can't find Arthur.
  12. I was mostly thinking super-heroic magitech, if that makes sense, but still making sure to keep the Knight aesthetic. As said on discord: I agree completely with Merlin being NPC. For Arthur, I'm good with either. If anyone wants to play him, they can be my guest, I'd rather play some other role.
  13. More ideas from me from discord: KnightDiscipleToday at 3:31 PM @RocketLord so a bit more like King Arthur And The Knights Of Justice? RocketLordToday at 3:49 PM @KnightDisciple I guess? Not outright "Now you put on his armor and travel to Camelot", more like "This is the Pendragon, he becomes the leader, etc., this is the Grail Knight, this is (whatever we'd call Lancelot)" elaborating a bit as ideas start to form: Merlin would maybe be the same guy every time, but since he's, well, old and multiple generations pass between each Arthurian cycle, he wouldn't remember everything exactly, and is very much focused on "Well, maybe this time it will be different and it won't fall" I was thinking going very much for Arthurian Knights filtered through super hero lenses like, Camelot would be a flying castle that's a headquarters. They ride flying robo horses. Their armor is high tech. They probably each have their own specific things and powers they can do Again, this is just my ideas, I'm open to making it very different from this or doing it completely differently.
  14. @RedSpine @Thunder King @KnightDisciple RedSpine talked about Camelot and doing something with that in the chat! The rest of us were inspired and jumped on the bandwagon, so, let's figure out what exactly we'll be doing! My basic idea, which are of course completely open to change and we can do something entirely different if you want, would be to play with a Camelot Recurrence: There's have been a lot of Camelots in the past, there will be a lot in the future. The names, locations and specifics might be different, but they all followed the same basic myth cycle of a rise and a fall, they all had different persons falling into the same roles: The Arthur, the Merlin, the Galahad, the Lancelot, etc. Now the time has come for Camelot in the Age of Super Heroes. Discuss, give ideas! Throw things on the wall and see what sticks!
  15. Pan would of course object very much to the idea that he was 18 and not 16, but he had to admit that it had some perks to be thought of as older than he was. He had flown to the amusement park. What better way to travel, after all? High above the street on a streak of golden dust, he flew in full costume, only letting the pixie dust wash over him once he landed, revealing an open denim jacket, an emerald green t-shirt with scattered white feathers and a pair of jeans underneath his uniform. He spotted Eira before she saw him, quickly moving closer, spreading his arms out to the sides to greet her. "Hello, hello!" Moving in close, he quickly wrapped his arms around her in a hug, before looking around. "Seen any of our two sidekicks yet?"
  16. Gonna take 10 on Notice with Skill Mastery, for a total 25. He has no skills beyond his Jack-of-All-Trades, so gonna roll a knowledge with +2 from his Intelligence to see what he understands from what he spots: 8 Oh well! Tell me what I see and I'll get an IC out ASAP
  17. GM The blue powder made a crinkling sound when Agnes held it. Like whatever it was was rubbing against itself when she moved it. Crimson Cross was confused, that much was clear, despite her full face mask. "What are you saying? What is this? You... you're lying! You're trying to trick us! Trying to turn us away from our righteous fu-" "Shut up." Jonathan interrupted. He looked at the package, a hint of recognition in his eyes. "Is that it, Preacher? Is that the source of our power? Not our faith?" The Preacher was silent. His glare moved from Agnes, to the bag and back again. If looks could kill...
  18. "Nah, boss," Charlie didn't even look up from where he was fiddling with the music. "That's samples from your greatest hit back at the cave." Something suitable for old Callie? Probably something 90'es, then. Maybe something a bit on the darker side, that'd fit with her usual mood? "Help me out a bit here, Watchdog? If anyone here knows anything about music for older people, I figure its you or Raven." Sure, Judy knew Ashley's name, but still, he figured he could just as well stay used to the codenames before he slipped up.
  19. Nevermore II "Yeah, before my time. But its cool, old you did a bunch of stuff. Joined the Freedom League and everything." Charlie was moving, not really standing still while Callie spoke. Balancing on one hand for a brief second, he then switched into a flip to land on his feet, quickly crouching. No, he wasn't trying to show off at all. This was the Callie Summers, after all. Showing off would be weird, right? "Ha, tell me about it. I love my gadgets, tons of fun things they can do. Raven insisted I wear this thing. Keeps me safe, got a big cape like his, looks a lot like his old costume when he was Nevermore. I mean, its cool and all, but I didn't really get much choice in the design or anything."
  20. "You were not at fault, Micah." Pan's voice was calm, solemn. So unlike his usual self. "No matter what it feels like, it was not you. It was what she made her." He let his feet drop, planting them firmly on the ground. "Are you angry? Do you hate? Good." His voice was rising. Growing louder, more forceful. It was a slow, gradual process, it was building. "Be angry! Hate! Rage and scream and let it all out!" His voice was like thunder now, so much like Micah's. He didn't even seem to notice that Eira was there for a moment. "Do not be ashamed for how you feel! You have every right to feel the way you do! Scream at the heavens! Bring your lightning and thunder! Are you afraid of hurting someone? Then we go somewhere remote, somewhere far away where you will not hurt anyone!" He was grinning triumphantly by now.
  21. Nevermore II Nevermore dove forward, leaping past the small gap in the door that Arrow had left before taking her shot. One down, three to go on this floor, however many were left below. They needed to stop him before he caused any kind of alarm, or the whole part about beng sneaky was out of the window before it even began. He couldn't let that happen, could he? No, he really couldn't. A particular ravenrang already found its way to his fingers, while he rolled forward into a kneeling position to hide behind the railing. Couldn't let the other guy see him just yet. Then, he threw the ravenrang, watching as it sent a shock through his target's body, stunning him for the moment.
  22. GM The arrow flew straight at the target, the injector digging into the criminal's arm. He raised his arm, looked at it once... and then fell to the floor like a bag of potatoes. He was heavy, but the injection did its work, and he was unconscious by the time he hit the floor. Another guard took notice. "Huh?" The one to the North-East moved towards the fallen man, leaning down to check on him.
  23. Fort save: 3 He's unconscious. Notice 15 for the other two thugs to notice him falling: 20 11 Nevermore moves around Arrow and to hide behind the railing so the guy to the East can't see him, then throws a stun ravenrang: 23 That's a hit, Fort sav vs. DC18: 17, he's dazed. @KnightDisciple is up.
