  1. Hyperactive shot a text to the Warriors. -Super Villain situation. Digital Media gimmick high risk CivColat.- It was a high risk of Collateral damage situation, and they wanted to take on the full power of the Warriors. Which meant this was a very cocky, reckless or stupid villain. "Ok good news. This isn't T.I.A.M.U.T." Hyperactive looked up from his phone. "And that base isn't too far from here. I can give you a ride there. Little worried that this guy might fling his minions at us mixed in with civilians."
  2. Oh I'm staying there with him! Which feels like a really dumb idea... Essentially my aim is to take him into the shadow zone and use the wide open space to run circles around him. Of course the Attometer has ways of getting back and having them arrive directly back in the base might be interesting.
  3. Sorry guys I took a bit of a break. Gonna get to this tonight
  4. Not sure how you want to play this, but I'm gonna try to take this fight onto my turf and move this guy into the Shadow Zone.
  5. "Your Dad?" Hyperactive vomited up black bile. He opened his helmet letting the mess slip onto the floor. "I get it. Me? I don't get it." He shakily rose, his body pulsating. This is bad. He felt every step burn like walking on sleeping feet. He let his body vibrate, made his voice loud. "I'm a hero." He slammed his chest. "But this worm of a woman? Yeah she's a bully, but that doesn't give us the right to kill her. That doesn't make you transcendent. It makes you childish." Hyperactive dropped into a sprinter's stance and then jumped the gun. His body would be a blue streak coming at Gold Star. He only needed to move the man 10^-18 m's an Attometer. Move him that far at the speed of light, well he'd dump both of them into the Shadow Zone. Hyperactive brought both feet up and shot them forward. He missed by inches. His feet didn't connect with anything. He felt the air as his blow snapped out. Then he heard something tear. Not muscle, but almost like fabric. This is gonna get weird.
  6. Thanks Nox! I think this brings us back to Stalwart.
  7. Hyperactive was in between Bloom and the bolt in an instant. "I wasn't actually gonna let him shoot you. I'm not you." He said still grinning. Time slowed as Hyperactive Kicked his mind into overdrive. The crackling bolt of energy looked no faster than a ball pitched at a high school soft ball game. He dropped into a catcher's stance and held up his hands. He felt the bolt hit him and flow into him. There was a buzz in his hands, wrists, forearms, biceps, chest. That was as much control as he had. He clapped both hands together and gritted his teeth. He shuddered and then he felt the shockwave of some of the energy ripple out of him. He could have contained it all. But then he'd probably have leveled the studio. Or LA. Instead a portion of the energy burst out of him in a ring. A pulse of raw kinetic energy right into Bloom.
  8. Absorption roll: 1d20+6 13 gonna reroll that! Absorption Reroll: 1d20+6 24 so just short by one!
  9. Ok Hero Point time: lets go with an absorb, essentially taking the energy of the bolt and then trying to heal himself if it succeeds. Otherwise I suppose it is absorption 6 Feel free to activate the: Can't stop moving complication. He is probably about to absorb a lot of energy.
  10. Toughness save: 1d20+8 22 so no she doesn't make that save and you daze and bruise her! mind posting in the ic if you get a chance?
  11. What was going on here? Hyperactive thought as he had just narrowly avoided the lightning. He kept charging forward, now far faster. He'd been around the multiverse, met a lot of speedsters. But he didn't recognize any of these faces. Or well helmets. "Race right!" Hyperactive declared as he forced his body forward. He matched pace with the woman. He opened up his faceshield, which he was loathe to do at these speeds, bugs in the teeth were awful. "Who are you? Why are we chasing a Greek god? Is that the Hermes? Or someone who looks like him?" Hyperactive rattled off before locking his shield in place.
  12. Hyperactive took aim at gold star and turned his arm still. There was a nigh imperceptible shimmer to the air as he tried to pull the kinetic energy from Gold Star. The blast slid straight off him. Ok that wouldn't work. He glanced at the guys all around him. These Smoking wheels were fairly useless. In a blur of motion Hyperactive dodged and darted behind the cover that Bloom was using. Oh he had a plan! "How good a shot do you think Gold Star is?" He asked coolly as he used her as a bit of cover from the psychotic psychic gunman.
  13. Hyperactive Rolled back on his palms before springing to his feet. He'd also been working to fix his water logged communicator. Basic radio, nothing fancy. He'd also managed to tune in to the conversation. "Two hostiles? Ok well that seems way more my speed." He chuckled. "I'm down to just unplug this and hope the storm falls apart, or at least one of them. But this is way beyond my expertise." Hyperactive held his hands up and shrugged. "I'm down to go talk in the basement or do some head kicking! Talking and Kicking, kinda specialties. Didn't realize this storm would be so huge."
  14. Hyperactive juggled the dynamite between his hands easily before leaving it hovering in the air. "Sorry buddy the other warriors tend to be camera shy." Hyperactive joked humorlessly. There was one really great way to see just how loyal someone was to their cause. Hyperactiv cut most of the fuse away. He let it fall to the ground. "Now I get it. You don't want to give away your boss. But see, how we move from here-" he lit the fuse. "Better talk quick partner." Hyperactive wasn't going to let this guy get well blown to smithereens. He would at the last moment turn them all phasing, but this would be really concerning if this guy let himself get blown to smithereens.
  15. Hey guys, sorry I fell off the map for a couple days. I'll be back to posting by the end of the week.
  16. "Look I'm inclined to believe you." Hyperactive smiled. "Come on then, if this is all a misunderstanding you won't mind telling us where the cash will go? Or why you didn't notify the police or The Waco Warriors? And yes I'd like to know where the cameras are. Just give us all the details." Hyperactive looked down at the dynamite. "So if this is a movie and you weren't really trying to blow open the vault door, will this not explode if I light it?"
  17. "No being tricked isn't a crime. But bombs and horses come on, there's no getting away from Austin PD on those. Then there's the issue of guys like Breakneck, Spitfire, or any of the other Warriors." Hyperactive sighed. "Wait car! we need to get the guy in the car!" Hyperactive zipped out for the lot to see if the car he had sabotaged was still there.
  18. Ok then. Well I'm going to get out of reach of them and go at Gold Star and try to paralyze him. Kinetic drain: 1d20+8 16 so no?
  19. "Sit this one out." Hyperactive shouted at Foxx and the Wheels. This was quickly turning into a brawl that he did not like his odds at. He'd run if he had too but he didn't have to yet. Direct combat hadn't worked, it was pointless to keep kicking this guy. Instead, Hyperactive aimed his hand at the raging Gold Star, he imagined the flow of kinetic energy and pulled it into him. The speedster frowned he hadn't hit Gold Star, but it had been a good try. In a burst of speed Hyperactive ran behind the Smoking wheels. It wasn't great cover, but at the very least maybe he'd close before firing on him. Or he'd try and shoot his allies. Which might sway Foxx. "You guys do know I can drop you real easy right? No bluff."
  20. I've got a bunch of ways to do that Power, I do have his paralyze as well, but it's not as great against more powerful targets. I edited in the roll above.
  21. No, the kinetic drain right below air control Kinetic Drain Gold Star: 1d20+8 11 so nope. That misses
  22. Ok! Question! I know I can stop someone who is flying or running with my Move object, question is can I ranged grab Gold Star and just hold him in place?
  23. Yeah absolutely! I hope nothing important is behind me! I do hope something dramatic like explosives are!
