  1. These zombies just from looking at them are kinda weird. They're magical, but youre pretty sure the magic is tied to the fungus growing on them. Not necessarily the corpse being magic, but the fungal mold on it seems to be the actual magic portion.
  2. GM From the perspective of the other two heroes they were in their previous location, and then suddenly, they were not. The two heroes found themselves in a laboratory with a dozen beleaguered scientists and doctors. The Speedster had snatched them so fast their minds hadn't been able to keep up. Which was ok. It made for a far smoother ride. "Mr. Daggers, and Woodsman. Good to meet in person by the way." Hyperactive smiled shaking the hand. He gave a nod to Woodsman as well. "I think I should let the good doctor explain what is going on. If anyone needs caffeine I can get my hands on some." Hyperactive said as he opened the third two liter bottle of Dr. Pepper, which hadn't been there before. "Gentlemen." Dr. Yang pointed at a glass tank. Slamming fists against the glass was... a humanoid. There were signs of decay all over the body. The clothes were torn up and damaged. The eyes were glassed over and it repeatedly beat it's fists on the tank. "There's a small town in the Appalachians that we recovered this..." he paused deliberating. "Disease vector. We think most of the town has succumbed to this disease. We want to rescue any survivors and find a way to contain this... situation."
  3. This sounds like a job for some knowledge rolls... well a knowledge roll Knowledge History: 1d20+6 23 thats real good!
  4. Let's gather information! Taking ten to talk around. Trying to see if people are from here, if they remember getting mind controlled, if they know anything about the director. Also so if people need to be taken home Hyperactive will zip them home. And lastly can I call upon a friend, via my connected feat, and get them to effectively cross reference this guy with live feeds etc, to see if he pops up anywhere? Or is that too much for that feat?
  5. Evil Dolphin Evil genius with a sonic attack, maybe sound based mind control, and hydrokinetics! Props if he is actually a dolphin who floats around in a watery shell.
  6. GM Koa had the struggling man beneath the water. The man seemed strong for a human, but was no match for the young Atlantean. With an easy throw he hurled the man right back up and out of the water into one of the others. He heard the heavy thud of impact before diving down below and vanishing into the shadows. The last remaining gunmen had been thrilled when the boats sank in the harbor. Less so now that he was alone with something in the water that had just taken out two of his friends. He saw Torpedo Lass on the dock and opened fire on her as he ran in a panic. His bullets sprayed at the heroine, none of them finding a hit.
  7. Ok Frenzy has a guy grappled beneath the water and he's going to use him as a projectile. Attack thug: 1d20+4 16 yep! That hits! Both of them will make toughness saves Toughness Saves: 2#1d20+2 3 17 nope neither beats his strength! Frenzy will then hide via a move action diving into the shadows below the dock. Skill mastery on that is 23, he has disappeared. The thug looking around and not seeing that target will attempt to attack Torpedo Lass Attack TL: 1d20+2 18 which misses!
  8. There absolutely is a beach/dock, where the gangsters are! There's absolutely rope etc.
  9. Can you give a DC for that? Reflex saves: 8#1d20+2 11 14 12 11 8 17 15 3 If it's a D.C. 20 then no none of them make that and we can essentially put them out of commission.
  10. "Well being out of politics is certainly an advantage." Hyperactive smiled. Heroes whose politics were too far leaning in either direction were not considered. "I was impressed by your leadership. If someone hadn't spoken up then more people would have died. Don't sell yourself short." "I'm sore at some point there will be contracts to sign. But what's the point looking over those if you don't wind up interested?" Hyperactive added he took out the first folder in the briefcase. The label read: Hyperactive. He opened it and laid it on the table. "I realize though that I'm an unknown quantity to a great extent." The file was mostly images, though he did push forward the more flattering articles about his time as Summer Son II and the articles about assembling the Waco Warriors.
  11. Would love to see the massive wereshark play some basketball. So Charity for Feeding Frenzy.
  12. "I'm here on business really." Hyperactive fully opened up his briefcase. He looked over the papers in it. No he wouldn't need to start with this. "I'm here on behalf of my new employers." Hyperactive tapped the symbol of congress on the briefcase. "I don't know how much you know about the FEND Act?" Hyperactive asked Queenie. "But they have started I guess, hiring is the right term, heroes for a new Federal hero team. I have already been hired. They want you on the team as well. Your powers would be extremely useful. As would your leadership prowess, like with those Storms."
  13. "It sure was! I think I might still have water in my ears." Hyperactive joked. He took in the entire menu in a blink. He rested the briefcase on the table. Flipping open the latches but not opening it, he took up the menu. "Well you know what I am feeling some chicken and Waffles." Hyperactive said with a grin. "I'm super speed lagged, it's still breakfast time in Australia." He opened up his briefcase. "I understand if you're still busy, but at some point tonight it will be necessary for us to sit down and talk." He hoped it wasn't going to go like the last few conversations on this matter with other heroes.
  14. July 21st, 2017 8:30 PM The Southern Queen Restaurant Hyperactive had found that heroes played all sorts of roles. He liked to think of them as body parts. His father had been a powerful set of fists and his eyes cast tremendous vision. His best friend Druid was a heart that guided the Waco Warriors. And Hyperactive? Well he was almost always a pair of feet. Running around and kicking bad guys. But today was different. Today Hyperactive was a mouth. Hyperactive arrived in a blur of motion. He had on a simple black suit with a silver shirt. His green tie had his "H" in a pattern on it. He had opted for the visor that just went over his eyes and ears. This wasn't a combat mission, but it was a mission all the same. He strolled up to the entrance. The large briefcase with the congressional seal displayed hung at his side. "Hello Miss, table for two please." Hyperactive smiled at the hostess. "And tell Cheff McQueen that Hyperactive is here to see her."
  15. Feeding Frenzy is very new to surfacer games, but he would be in for that!
  16. Well either the teleporting or deleting my costume, if not I am a ok with that as well
  17. GM The factory was almost entirely empty. It wasn't entirely clear what had been manufactured there, but it was clear the building hadn't been in use for a while. A few windows had been blown out, others boarded up and a few were simply coated in dust. There were at least four ways into the main floor. Inside the building ding a young woman with pale skin was sitting at a table. She appeared to be working on something fairly oblivious to the arrival of the Speedster. Hyperactive hid out of the way and waited for the other heroes to arrive.
  18. Hyperactive saw his opening and took it. With a quick roundhouse he lashed out at the Director and caught him in the jaw before taking a quick hook kick the opposite way. He clapped both hands on the director's ears. He turned that into a grab and brought his knee up into the villain's jaw. "Good cue!" Hyperactive shouted before darting out of range of another touch attack. He began to make loops around the Director waiting for Weekend Man to give him another opening. He was still furious about the mind control, but he glanced over his shoulder and saw the damage to the suit. "What the heck how did he do that?!"
  19. Hyperactive goes for the Director with a power attack Power attack Director: 1d20+11 22 boom baby toughness save dc 27! can I make a knowledge check and try to figure out how he's doing this? Knowledge physical science check: 1d20+6 17
  20. Will save: 1d20+5 17 ouch nope misses by 8
  21. GM Koa had been swimming the length of the Freedom waterfront. He was very new to town, but this was the best way he knew how to learn the town. The sounds of gunfire had been heard when he was up orienting himself, taking in land marks. He knew the sound and it changed his course. Taking off at top speed he was in the fight right as he felt the shockwave rip through the water. Which was kinda terrifying. However the last thing he needed was these people shooting each other. With a quick motion Koa, the Feeding Frenzy, stared up through the slats of the dock and grabbed a gangster From behind the truck. With a swift motion he gave a yank and pulled the gangster straight into the water. The dock splintered, the gangster screamed, and the other two turned. The two shot down into the water as Koa pulled down his foe.
  22. Feeding Frenzy is gonna grab one of the Gangsters and just pull him down. Attack Frenzy: 1d20+5 13 Attack: 1d20+4 13 the pirates will take a turn to swim to shore. They are in the open water.
  23. I'll have them roll a piloting check in place of a reflex save! Piloting check: 1d20+2 6 no they both flip over! I don't see any reason not to have that be what happens.
  24. They do not appear to be wearing flotation devices. Definitely have not done water safety! And the boats seem to be built for speed not durability.
